I have always loved working in the food industry, server, bartender, and restaurant business. Growing up on a large farm in the Midwest has given me inspiration to help others learn how to eat wisely and how to spend money sensibly on food. I feel I’m relatable when it comes to all the above on what most of us are looking for in life.

This week we are making 2 ingredient, Homemade Butter 🧈
This is quick, easy and much more healthy!!

Sit back and relax, I have all the details right here for you! πŸ€“ 

Ingredients:

- buy fresh from a local farmer 🚜 whenever you can

- 6oz. Clotted cream (you can buy 1-6 of these, the link is in my LinkTree Shop) 

-The shelf life on these are absolutely amazing!! 

- Himalayan Salt (to your liking)

Instructions:

1. Add  your cream into the butter churn 

2. Add the amount of salt you would like, you can always add more, less is best!

3. Close lid on churn tight, and begin churning

4. Do this for 5 minutes 

5. Open the lid, you will see it is fluffy, if you want to add other ingredients (honey butter etc) do that now. The longer you churn the fluffier!!

6. If you add anything you will need to churn again for around 3-5 minutes

7. If there is any moisture that comes to the top, drain it out (it is pure buttermilk and you can keep it and use it).

8. Store in a butter crock (on my LinkTree Store) on your counter and Enjoy!!

*Now you can form this into a butter roll or stick. If you want to do this, you will remove the butter from the churn, form it into a roll and dip it into an ice bath over and over for about a minute until you see it forms. Pat dry with a paper towel and wrap with non stick wax freezer paper. You can freeze this or use it as is.
