We are two lifelong friends bonded by our love of movies and we want you to join us as we embark on a cinematic adventure like no other. At the start of each episode, we’ll spin the roulette wheel, where 38 randomly movie themed categories are waiting. From there, we’ll take turns picking our top five movies from that category in a true fantasy draft format. But the fun doesn't stop there! We want you, our listeners, to join in by choosing your favorite list from our selections. At the end of each episode we will update our final list to our social media and it’s up to you to choose your winner. But beware, the loser must face a movie themed challenge chosen by the winner each week. This week, we sidestepped right into the spotlight with sidekicks! You know, the trusty companions who make the main hero look good, while doing most of the heavy lifting themselves. According to the dictionary, a sidekick is “a person's assistant or close associate, especially one who has less authority than that person,” or “a close friend or follower who accompanies another on adventures" but we all know that’s just a polite way of saying they’re the real MVP. With that said, does our list meet the criteria, but more importantly does your favorite make the friend list? Tune in to find out.
Before we dive into the juicy sides, let's talk about the unfortunate soul of the week. Our latest loser had to endure a movie she’s been dodging for three weeks. Guess what? Karma finally caught up with her, but now the question is, did those extra weeks of avoidance make her fall in love with the film or despise it even more?
