Last week's episode clearly hit a nerve. The comments came in thick and fast, from videographers, from photographers, and crucially from content creators themselves, many of whom slid into Danny and Jason's DMs with voice notes saying they agreed with everything being discussed and appreciated the fact that it was handled with respect rather than the usual pile-on.

This week they're back with part two, reading through the comments, sharing the responses, and going deeper on the conversation that clearly needed to happen.

A post from a magazine with over 100,000 followers surfaces mid-episode and it's a belter. The caption lists the things your official camera might miss, including your best friend fixing your veil, your mum getting emotional, and the random uncle going too hard on the dance floor. Danny's response involves a butterfly, a spider's web, and a story that will make you feel considerably better about your worst wedding day. Jason's response is considerably less charitable.

They also dig into where the real confusion comes from, why the deliverables model is the actual blurred line rather than what gets captured on the day, why videographers could be doing a much better job of showing the moments that build their films rather than just posting teasers, and why the lower end of the videography market is probably feeling the most pressure right now and what to do about it.

The episode ends with a commitment to bring a leading content creator onto the podcast in the next few weeks for a proper, constructive conversation about the language being used and how the two industries can work better together. If you've got questions you want them to ask, get in touch.
