The Snarking Lot
Find your spot and park it for this experience: It’s what you get when you listen to conversations between two millennial women who grew up together in rural Wisconsin and started their friendship when they were 10. It’s endless hot takes with a sprinkling of hilarity, covering work, career, life, friendship, trying to have hobbies, and a general desire to rid the world of greed in all its forms. Sometimes they give guests a spot - other times they tag-team vent.

What is it like to mold young minds as a major national event takes place? We have the honor of welcoming an influential and memorable educator who so many know as “the sixth-grade teacher everyone wanted.” Steve was in the midst of a long teaching career in Wisconsin when the landscape shifted due to the Columbine school shooting in Colorado in 1999 and, later, the Sandy Hook shooting in 2012. We talk all things memories, reflections, changes, hopes, frustrations, and a look to a (hopefully) more positive future. Plus, we get into some much more fond memories, including what it’s like to impart a love of Shakespeare and Monty Python upon sixth-grade minds. She’s a witch!
