In Ancient Europe, May 1st was commonly celebrated as a holiday, heralding the coming summer. In Ireland and Scotland, this holiday was called Beltane, while other areas called it May Day. Modern pagans and witches still celebrate a version of this fun holiday with May poles and bonfires. In this episode, we'll be talking about the history and lore of the holiday before we discuss some ideas for celebrating.
