We react to Jay-Z’s GQ interview, breaking down reputation, defamation, and why some people choose to fight rather than settle when their name is on the line. We also get into fatherhood, using his story about Blue Ivy to talk confidence, growth, and letting people chase what they love.
From there, we tap into the Kendrick vs Drake debate, internet headlines, and loyalty in the spotlight—before it all turns into real-life decisions about money, morals, and the pressure behind the choices people make.

SPEAKER_01But enough about me.
SPEAKER_07For our loyal listeners, we will be retiring that button forever. Damn. Forever. That's what I wanted to be known. Um just giving me too much copyright problems on YouTube. It was great. It was a good idea. It gotta go. Um Smee Quill. Let's keep it all simple. Lawsuit niggas.
SPEAKER_04So, man. But that's why you make, you know, you make new ideas. Shout out to my dog Chris, man. We in this bitch.
SPEAKER_00The Rock, you bastards! As always, you're holla.
SPEAKER_07Alright, man. I hate that I had to do it that way, man. Because it flows so perfect before.

SPEAKER_06Um, but yeah, man. What's up with y'all, man?
SPEAKER_08You already know what happened.
Jay-Z Interview And Smear Claims
SPEAKER_04What you mean? Yeah, I don't know what he's talking about already. Man, hove drop, man. Oh, yeah, the interview. Yeah, see, he yeah. Gotta get right to it. Right. Come on, man. If you didn't hear, better go listen and it's happening. Jones are a great listener. And anytime Ho speak, you know. It's classic. Come on, man. It's classic.
SPEAKER_03Nigga not talking, it's just to be talking.
SPEAKER_0445-minute GQ interview. You can find it on YouTube. I mean, you can find it on YouTube. The clips have been everywhere on all social sites. He addressed a lot of things. Um as a whole fan, I knew never to leave his side when it came to all of this. I knew when it came to all of this hoopla, me and Krista, 10 toes down. We stamped it. We said if we find out he on some bullshit with some kids, we done. We never found that out. We knew there was no fucking documentation on that type of shit.
SPEAKER_06I knew you couldn't make fucking bars like that to inspire black people and do them in like that. I knew it.
SPEAKER_04For sure, bro. That's I can't even. He said he was heated. Heated. Heated. Yeah. But let's let's outside looking in.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_02How mad.
SPEAKER_06Think about the level of smut.
SPEAKER_02Yo. How mad do you gotta be when you up a B? Life is great.
SPEAKER_04Like we know something. I don't want to cut you off. We do have to make sure we don't cut each other off within this conversation because it's three of us. Put some respect on my dog's name. He got three of them.
SPEAKER_06So let's just let's just clear that. I know you would like that to be clear before you go further. He got three of them, but go ahead.
SPEAKER_02So even more to my point. How mad do you have to be when that level of smut reaches your name? Like, and it takes you back to a place where you haven't been since you haven't been who you are today. And it's been 20 plus years of you being who you are.
SPEAKER_04I mean, to be honest with it, I don't even think it was about the money to him, like, or him being up enough money, like he said. He said, where I come from, women and kids, we ain't we don't do that. So for you to put that kind of smut on my name, nah. Nah, I can't. Can't go. I can't stand on that. He's he couldn't even stand on it enough just to give a settlement and just get him out the way.
SPEAKER_08Even if it would have been nobody hearing about it. We would have never heard about it. He'd have paid him off, but it would just, he said, just me knowing that I paid somebody for that. Nah, can't do it.
SPEAKER_04Why would you if you didn't do it? Sturdy.
SPEAKER_07Even though there's different tactics, and sometimes people do settle because they have bad publicists.
SPEAKER_08I mean, I'm pretty sure about you can't advise you. If you got three B's and 10 mil can get this up out the way, you can't most likely will advise you. Because you're gonna spend more to fight that than you would to just pay the 10 mil.
SPEAKER_02But again, still, like you said, reputation being on your conscience, knowing like that's just dirty money. Like do it. You can't wash your hands of that dirty money. That shit is That shit is a filth.
SPEAKER_04Everybody's saying you can't never get off. When you make moves like that, you make moves like that with the thought of you assuming you know what's gonna happen in the future, right? But if you bet on yourself, you don't know what's gonna happen in that moment. Like a lot of that shit comes from fear. Somebody telling you, oh, just settle out because you don't want it's always something that's not tangible. You don't want people to look at you this way. And as we have seen through the history of music and musicians, that some people do take falls where they really didn't do anything. Most of the times when they keep grinding, putting in that pain, they come back up. For example, like Gunner. Yeah, it was a time where you thought he was done for. Now, this is a different level of accusation, but snitching was up there at this at this point in time. But he got back to the top. Gotta keep grinding, you gotta keep working, you gotta bet on yourself. Gunner could have easily been, oh, I'm gonna do what YSL is doing. He said, nah, bro, I'm gonna do what I wanna do, and look what happened. That's what Hove does. That's what you're supposed to do. All of that settling, all that other bullshit. That's that bullshit why they think Mike was touching kids. Because Mike settled on some shit he didn't do. Because you know, on his in his court case, not to change the subject, but the reason why he might have settled is because his shit was different. They was going in there looking at his dick, touching it, taking pictures of it. No, real shit though. To try to be like, oh, he was touching kids.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that shit was just that's that's asking kids to describe a grown man dick. That was insane. That was insane.
SPEAKER_04But let's get back to that, get back to Jay-Z. But the main point in all of us saying that is stand up for yourself, bro. He ain't like that shit. And that's why he went about it the way he did. And you know you got the people, whoa, how do you know what he did? How the fuck do I know what you did? Mind your business. We going with what we believe and what we think, just like anybody else would in any other situation.
SPEAKER_08And bro, if it was anything that came out of that, bro, would it came out, bro, and it did not come out? I ain't trying to hear none of that. Who stood on 10, who beat it, boy was lying, and like you said, just as a graceful nigga, he's still not even about to go back at Boy for the Bread. He good.
SPEAKER_07He said it ain't in my DNA.
Clearing Your Name Without Settling
Fatherhood Lessons From Blue Ivy
SPEAKER_04Cleared his name, I'm good. That's all I wanted. Okay, um, let's get to what he was saying about fatherhood. You know, since you can relate, I know we all have nieces, nephews, people, kids in our lives. I like the perspective when he was talking about y'all remember when he's talking about blue ivy dancing, right? Yeah, on stage. On stage. Uh her first, her first, her first tour, she only did like a couple numbers or whatever.
SPEAKER_02And there were some things where he was like, there's some songs you just not gonna be a part of. Then the second tour, you know, she fucking put in the work to uh she put in the work to learn more dances and fucking master master her craft.
SPEAKER_04But what was so insightful to me was that wasn't the thing she's talented at. She's not even good at that. She was working at that. Yeah, he says she's great at being a piano. Yeah, got perfect pitch.
SPEAKER_08Like she like talk, hear the song, play it again, play it one more time, she'll go play it.
SPEAKER_04Cause even him telling her that wasn't normal, which I thought was like just beautiful coming from a dad, like just fuck if it's Jay-Z or Beyonce. Just him being able to tell his daughter, like, yo, you know that's not normal. Because when you're a kid, you don't know, right? And then how he said she responded, like, nah, I don't want to that's beautiful. That was beautiful.
SPEAKER_02My outlet, this for me. Yeah, it's not for the world to hear or anything like that.
SPEAKER_04This this just for me. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06The fact that she can do that, I said, I say, I me personally, I wasn't shocked. If your dad's G-Z and your mom's Beyonce, I'm expecting something to go off here. Like something. Now she's Alicia Keys, we can dance. That's what she's like. That's how great she's it looks like she's about to be. Yeah, yeah. This level of choreography that she's doing, this is Tiana Taylor level of choreography. This is the top level.
SPEAKER_04And I think that should make you happy too. Like, because it's like if my niece came out and wanted to do stuff like that, like, and she's good at being the piano, playing the piano, but she wants to go and work hard at dance. Um I love that. Because now you literally you're about to make yourself great in two things, potentially. Yeah, that's shaped. That shaped me. Yeah, that shaped me as like a future parent because I was always under the impression that you push your child towards the thing that comes easiest to them. But even that might not be what they want to do.
SPEAKER_09Right.
SPEAKER_04The way you think they should do it. Yeah, so it's like, damn, like what if your son was dropping 30 a game and then was just like, I don't even want to go to college or high school. Yeah, he don't love ball. Well, he gotta go back. Before this, no, I'm saying he if he don't want to play high school ball, yeah. But in middle school, he's dropping 30 AU, he's dropping 30, and then before high school, before college, he quits. Before Jay-Z said that perspective, I would have looked down on my son, like not look down on him, been like, dang, what you on? This nigga different thing, and da-da-da-da. Or you feel like you just blew your kids' opportunity because you feel like you could have pushed them in the right way. Like, Jay-Z got the resources to give her the best piano she ever wanted to play with. But if she really don't want to do it, and that's just her safe space to like have her personal outlet, let that be their personal outlet. Yeah, I I learned something. I'm telling y'all, I learned something. Like, even if you want to do the thing that you hate, do it. What you about to say? Just to your example, we know a nigga like that though. What you mean? We know a nigga who was getting 30 in middle school, was that nigga, and then got to high school and just didn't want to play basketball no more.
SPEAKER_07You do. Gio.
SPEAKER_04Nice. What? Bro, I never seen Gio Play. How tall he is now.
SPEAKER_06That's how tall he was in eighth grade.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_04Exactly. Laying it up over the rim. Exactly, James. He ain't about to get no. I fuck with you, Gio, but enough of too much, like, he's getting too much time right now. Like, no Geo, no car. He was wildin', shooting from far.
SPEAKER_02Left-handed. Like, the nigga was not like easily.
SPEAKER_04He was nice. One of the best in the city. Real shit. Really just like if he kept playing, he'd have started.
SPEAKER_02James. Yes. Just stopped playing basketball.
SPEAKER_0730 balls, 40 balls.
SPEAKER_04I ain't gonna tell you why, but he just stopped playing basketball. Sickening. Shout out to Gio. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Shout that nigga out.
SPEAKER_04Only thing that's nutty, just want to tell you, just on the separate side note, just within friendship, just imagine knowing the nigga, but you don't know him. But in your world, like I moved from Maryland, I came here just for the school year. Gio was just a nigga who be scoring all the points.
SPEAKER_06But before he was my friend, that's who he was to me. Got you. Nigga on the team who score all the points, take all the shots. And niggas used to be on the bench hating.
SPEAKER_04This nigga Jack, man. Oh, he does a shoot, man.
SPEAKER_05Not gonna lie.
SPEAKER_04Wait, was you saying that? No. Okay. But I might agree. Like, he does take a lot of shots. But Chris, you've been to them games, bro. Oh, that's all he's gonna do. He was jacking. Alright, let's just move on. Let's move on to the Jay-Z. Jay-Z draw. Because I now I have more questions. Was it a band Modobio kind of jack? No. Okay. No, he was getting buckets. Alright. It was just all his buckets. I was just making sure he wanted shooting 40 free throws to get 30.
SPEAKER_07But yeah, okay. So then we got Jay-Z speaking on you want to go to the rap beef?
SPEAKER_08Yeah, you can get into it. Yeah, go ahead, man.
SPEAKER_07You took the Jay-Z basically said the Kendrick vs. situation, uh, the Kendrick versus Drake situation went too far when families got involved. Um do you think rap is still competition or do you think it's messy?
SPEAKER_04Rap is the same thing it's been in the past, bro. Like when you beefing, like when you in beef with somebody, it's never gonna like first of all, especially at that level. Them, they just two great people. Like two great rap rappers. I'm not gonna say people, because I don't know their personal life. They two great rappers. So when they start getting into it, it's not gonna be like lyrically, they're gonna both kind of be almost around the same room. But then once we start getting into it, how can we offend the next person? It's not just gonna be me shooting at you, it's gonna be me shooting at something that you might be weak at. And usually the weak points is usually the families.
SPEAKER_08Or the squad, or you know what I mean? Somebody in your entourage can't could not necessarily be family, could just be somebody in OVL, could have been somebody in TDE, whoever.
SPEAKER_04But I don't know. It got to that, and I just think uh it got really, really personal. I I agree with that.
SPEAKER_07Wait, Chris, what do you think?
SPEAKER_02I think Hove only feels like that now because obviously he has taken part, he has taken his part in said battles before where some things you could say crossed the line, they went too far with shit like so.
SPEAKER_04And a little homie junk who is a guard to me. That was Nas brother, right? Yes, all right, yeah.
SPEAKER_02So and what he did to MOP and shit like that, because yeah, this goes more into what you were saying. Go ahead, man.
SPEAKER_04But thinking back on a Hove quote or a or a prodigy quote, Hove did recognize at a certain point with certain people that it was just rat beef. Right. Now, I don't know if he's seen it that way with Nas.
SPEAKER_02I mean, even as far as all the the the extracurriculars, we ain't never heard we ain't never really hear of Hove name taking place in the that was more like beans and them niggas.
SPEAKER_04Cause I never felt like Hove and Nas wasn't gonna be cool forever. The same way I felt about 50 and Ja, 50 and Ross. 50 different though. Drake and Kendrick, Dirk and Youngboy. Like I think those levels of beef, because and all of those levels of beef except Jay-Z, there was threats of violence. Drake and Kendrick will be cool again.
SPEAKER_08Nah, never.
SPEAKER_04You are crazy as fuck. Never. You are crazy as fuck. Never now what's the line? You can't just say it, cuz Oh, it's plus money. It's probably like no no no. Like I want years. I want the over-under, yeah, or the over-under. I want years. Yeah, over here. Because if it's if it's if it if it's in 20 years and these niggas is 56 at the 100th anniversary of hip hop, I don't give a fuck. I mean, Hove is 50. So this why.
SPEAKER_02But him and Nas pieced it up 15 years ago.
SPEAKER_04When he was 35, 45? While they was very much still active. Hove's older than 50, though. Yeah, I mean, I get that, but I'm saying with I wouldn't even care how old he was.
SPEAKER_02They was very much still active.
SPEAKER_04Rapin? This is what before they pieced it up?
SPEAKER_02When they when they pieced it up. Very much still active.
SPEAKER_04Oh still dropped the day when he dropped. Oh yeah. Oh man. Kendrick and Drake gonna be cool again, bro. Why?
SPEAKER_07Like what's your and how long?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I just want to know. Ten years.
SPEAKER_07So when they're close to 50. Okay.
SPEAKER_04I don't see it. If it don't happen sooner than that, it ain't gonna happen. I think within 10 years. Let's wait for Iceman before you just start speaking so heavy like that. Because if too much is more said is on Iceman, might be a fucking rat. He's going black again. Okay. Yeah, you don't know K Dot like we know K-Dot.
SPEAKER_02We already told you, bro. This shit is dead for that.
SPEAKER_04But I but I think I think Drake is done like I think Drake knows he did, like he went too far with the wrong person.
SPEAKER_08He gotta chill now, bro.
SPEAKER_04He do know that.
SPEAKER_08Nah. He learned him. He learned him.
SPEAKER_04Come out, Chris. Chris, I'm petty. But when somebody learns you, come on, bro. They learned you. Like, you can't tell me he looks in the mirror and thinks he came out of that battle unscathed. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah. Like how he's talking.
SPEAKER_02I don't think that. I don't think that.
SPEAKER_04Now he did come on stage with bullet holes on fire. So he knows he got hit up. Who Drake, right? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. He got lost. He thinks he's still him. No, because he is. Can I explain? Can I explain?
SPEAKER_08Can I explain? This is how I look at it, right? Kendrick is not as petty as like a 50 cent, right? But if Ja Ja will piece it up with 50, 50 won't piece it up with Ja.
SPEAKER_04True. So that I'm in that same exact room with that.
SPEAKER_07True.
SPEAKER_04Drake is like Ja. He's gonna want to piece it up.
SPEAKER_07True.
SPEAKER_04He got killed. And Kendrick is petty.
SPEAKER_08But I don't think Kendrick is as petty as 50.
SPEAKER_04Ah. You lost me when you said when he said that the first time. Ah I think he's that petty. Kendrick is a humble human being who really I think he cares about human beings a lot, bro. I think he does too. I think Drake cares about human beings too. Because I think he even gave great, he even gave Drake grace in the battle to not talk about family until Drake did it. That's alleged.
SPEAKER_08Okay.
SPEAKER_04That's alleged. I don't know that to be true. We gotta stop going off of shit like that, too. Like, I don't even know if 21 Savage is married. It's a little shit like that to where we just take it and we run with it. Definitely, definitely about to have that baby with Lotto. Right. That's what I know. That's all I know, but we'll get to that too. Congratulations to the lotto, man, too. My picture for him is efficiently. I can't watch the whole process. I gotta pull up with a baby, too. Or I had to have hit you before you had the baby. He sat with the baby too. To have affection, not to hit.
SPEAKER_02Alright, so just see me in two years then. Because she might come out this on the other end.
SPEAKER_04No, I'm cool. I'm cool. I'm cool. It's hard to watch a joint love and nigga like that. And then when she comes to you, the love ain't on that same.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it ain't gonna be the same. I remember when she when she first got with the nigga she put on Twitter.
SPEAKER_05I finally got them brothers, nigga.
SPEAKER_06Dead ass? I'm crying.
SPEAKER_04I'll never forget it.
SPEAKER_02See, I didn't know things like that.
SPEAKER_04Me neither. But uh back to the beef. Do you do you think it was whack? Just being objective. Do you think it was whack how people rushed to hate Drake? From Jay-Z's perspective.
SPEAKER_02Um, I don't even think that was the case. I think like let's not forget how this, like, history has a funny way of writing itself. Let's not forget how this shit went. Niggas rushed to hate Kendrick for two weeks, where 17 days or however long that counter was up on X page telling this nigga to drop. Like, that happened, bro. Drop, drop, all of that happened. So, no, that was not the case. I'm not even, I can't even acknowledge anything said after something like that was said, because that's not the case.
SPEAKER_04I mean, to be honest, I feel like what Hole was basically saying was depending on who you liked in the battle or who you think, like who what songs you like, it's which side you chose. And that's the side you stood on. So now he's too much. And that's and that's what he did not like though, Chris.
SPEAKER_02He said how battle works, though. You choose who you what songs are better, and not normally.
SPEAKER_08But he's he's for the advancement of the culture, and he said this will not advance the culture. Because now, now I got you because Kendrick the angles of Kendrick could have been streamed way more than what he was, but because there's some loyal Drake people out there, they didn't stream Kendrick music.
SPEAKER_04And there's some loyal Kendrick people out there who didn't stream Drake's music, so now you're not pushing the culture of rap forward, because you're dividing it. Before you disagree, I disagree heavily with a lot of that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think I think the only way I would uh even agree is just because off of the ain't like the the it the battle didn't push the culture forward because of the angles of the battle. Um if if the battle would have just been a rap battle, not so salacious, not so he says she said he did like that type of shit, then we're having a totally different conversation. I think it's just the angles, the angles each artist took in the battle.
SPEAKER_04So I think that's for I think that's more so for your standpoint. I think when you just start talking music, everybody don't listen to it with those kind of ears of like what salacious stuff happened. Some people really listen to it for music.
SPEAKER_02No, that's what makes people rush to the music even more.
SPEAKER_04I I I I would say forget if it was salacious or not, or I'm saying there were high-level bars, high-level lyricism coming from both. So I can't I don't think we should judge it off of the topics because even the topics were layered. Even sometimes what we thought they were talking about, they weren't talking about that, and they were talking about something only them two knew about that maybe somebody else broke down after the fact. But listening, it wasn't like you're like, oh, the they were messy, but it was still in within the songs, it was good hip hop.
SPEAKER_08Okay.
SPEAKER_04I just don't think there are people who didn't stream Drake because they like Kendrake. That's one. You don't think that happened? No, Drake is still one of the biggest streamed artists. So technically that can't be true. I think the same people who were streaming Drake are streaming Drake.
SPEAKER_06You just picking the part of Drake that you like, or oh, I don't like this Drake.
SPEAKER_04I like Drake from nothing was the same. I don't like the that's what people do with Drake. I didn't see anybody jump ship completely until it was like unless it was people who truly believed the PDF accusations, but there was nobody who jumped ship on listening to his music simply because he lost that battle. Hell no. What you just said, you just showed that people are jumping ship. How? Because you said some people are going to say I like nothing was the same, Drake. Some people may not even give if Drake drops the same as nothing next week. Some people may not even give that a run because they like, yo, I'm not especially at that point in the battle. Maybe not today, because we're moving past it.
SPEAKER_08That's why I said they're gonna be cool. But at that point, when Drake dropped, his stuff wasn't gonna get streamed as far as how it used to be.
SPEAKER_04Because people not not because of the fall off, it was because of the push that he did not get that he was getting before, and because of the label. That's not what he blamed it on. That's literally what happened. There were songs that I played that Chris never even heard from Drake. That never was a thing, and it was fire. Shit was fire. It wasn't a thing. I'm telling you, bro, there's people out there who stood on Kendrick's side and would not listen to Drake. I stood on Kendrick's side, but you also like Drake. And you also That's what I'm trying to tell you. You also really like music, so you can't take you as the only like that's the sole being. I'm telling you. There's a people, bro. There's a clip on YouTube where you watched, I mean on Instagram, where there was like 75 people in that room dressed like Drake in a club rapping like they was being Drake. They were acting like they were Drake. None of them will listen to Kendrick. I guarantee you, all of them who got the little braids in his hair, like how he did in all them videos.
SPEAKER_07See, you're saying the opposite.
SPEAKER_04If you switch what you're saying, I agree with what you're saying. I do believe there are Drake fans that will not listen to Kendrick. And wholeheartedly, I believe that. And I think before the battery would not work the same the other way around. So before before the battery, do you think they would have listened to Kendrick? Drake gonna catch you. Like, I love Kendrick to death. I do. But you cannot escape Drake's music. You can escape Kendrick's music. You can even find people that don't like Kendrick's music. You cannot go to the next person next to you and they won't like Drake's music. And then if you go to them and they don't like Drake's music, the next nigga they ask, the chances of them not liking it low. I'm telling you. But if you switch it to Kendrick, it'll get high. I'm telling you. Motherfuckers only be listening to Kendrick, bro. If you go to Compton or somewhere out there, you're gonna find a group of people who don't listen to that light-skinned bull. Because they never did. It's not because he lost the battle. That's the point I'm trying to make. I think they did before. That no. Oh, okay. But now they definitely not doing it. But that's different. That's different. That's different because now you're doing a coastal joint. Like, that's like if Philly, Philly don't rock that way, but they supposed to. Like if Meek beefing with a Chicago nigga, for example, they're not supposed to support like. Yeah, that's what the West Coast do. But I'm saying this is. I'm not going to up this nigga streams when you going against him. Fuck this nigga. Let's play they not like us for the hundredth time.
SPEAKER_08This is literally, this is literally what Hole was talking about, though, in the interview. He said it because even the interviewee said, yo, I wanted to listen to Ilmatic, but I didn't want to support him.
SPEAKER_04So I went and copied and bootlegged the CD just so I wouldn't support him. So people were literally making decisions to stand on certain sides and not support the other side.
SPEAKER_02Hove also let him know. Hove also let him know he chose the right side.
SPEAKER_04He chose, yeah, come on. But I'm saying people not making their support in today's day and age is about not streaming your music. Okay. That's supporting it. Okay.
SPEAKER_08We can't buy albums no more. If you bootleg somebody's album, I mean, that's just like not streaming it.
SPEAKER_04I'm just gonna wrap it up and say I think the people who didn't like Drake didn't like Drake. And the people who didn't like Kendrick didn't like Kendrick. Okay. If you like both of them before, it's no way after this beef, you should hate one or the other. Outside of the objective look of like, oh, he lost. So I'm saying, do you think sometimes when people, just the last, last thing, some people that be like in the middle, like like kind of straddling the fence, do they get swayed one way or the other and then kind of get pushed over into that other group? What do you think about that? No.
SPEAKER_08Okay.
SPEAKER_04I don't either. Okay.
SPEAKER_06I don't think that changes what niggas listen to in their house on their own time, on their YouTube, in their car when nobody's around. Okay.
SPEAKER_04Because even what I might play, when y'all two in the car will be completely different than when I might rock out with myself. When I'm by myself, I might bump some Tony Braxton. I might bump some old school Whitney Houston. You know what I'm saying? Right. Oh, yeah, I got in the car. This nigga shit was me. He had Megan on for weeks.
SPEAKER_06The song started with A. You know how I be playing the A song?
SPEAKER_04I don't know no Megan songs. Yeah. Don't put me in that category.
SPEAKER_02Tried to get me real quick. It never started at the beginning of the song either, James. I don't know. It was already over a minute and a half, bro. Two and a half minutes into the song. It was that's his shit, bro.
SPEAKER_06Yo, point plate, motherfuckers gonna listen to what they wanna listen to. And Drake is in that list of shit. Niggas listen to alone, bro.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, nah, for sure. There's even certain I listened to Drake with y'all in the car, but not certain songs. I tried not fucking with him too after he lost.
SPEAKER_05I tried.
SPEAKER_04Oh, you really tried to not listen to him?
SPEAKER_06What? I thought I was doing a good job.
SPEAKER_02Like he looked at the biggest.
SPEAKER_06And it's the boy who put me on the Drake. I thought I was doing a good job. Looked at the end of my Apple music at the end of the year. Drake was number one. Most listen to artists.
SPEAKER_04Drake had a lot of run. And this, yo, earlier. That was my dog. That was my dog, bro. So far going, but that was your dog. That was my dog. All right. Anything else from the whole interview? Let me see. Niggas hating on to being a millionaire. He said he don't give a fuck.
SPEAKER_08Nah, he says, so what that means? If you got 999,000, that means you not bad. Like that one more dollar makes you a bad person. And that's what he means. Kind of said, like, you are who you are, basically.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_06And all you little fucking idiots who like, oh, they're forming he's formulating a plot against Drake. You know what Ho said. Nigga, I am Jay Z. No disrespect, bro. I'm Jay Z.
SPEAKER_04Fuck this shit.
SPEAKER_08They were saying that because uh he picked Kendrick for the Super Bowl, but like he gave his basis to that too.
SPEAKER_04He was the number one streamed artist of the year. I'm Jay-Z.
SPEAKER_06Why would I give a fuck about what two of these young niggas? I nigga, I'm 30 years in the game. I don't give a fuck who wins, loses, who comes up$10,$15 million,$20 million. I don't give a fuck, nigga.
SPEAKER_04Who got the backing and who's gonna make this Super Bowl hot? That's it. That's all I care about. People don't understand who. If Drake would have won in that same fashion, his ass would have been on that Super Bowl too. If Drake would have been the number one streamed artist that year, he would have been performing.
SPEAKER_08Y'all would have been up there singing hot line bling and all of that. Would've happened.
Solange’s Son And Tommy Rumors
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that Drake hate real, bro. I ain't gonna lie. I don't think it's it's real enough to stop niggas from listening. That's all I know. Uh how much do you think Solange was paid? Solange? I mean not Solange. How much do you think Tommy was paid to leave Solange's son, Jules, alone? Jules is 21. Solange is 40. Tommy's 41. Tommy's 41. Solange is. She's pretty old too. No, she's only like 38. She's only 30 years? She had Jules when she was like 16.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_04I thought Solange was older. Let me look. Let me look to be sure. Wait, so just give a backstory about what happened.
SPEAKER_02It was hugged up. You seen him coming out of the club or somewhere? Something hugged up. Kissing.
SPEAKER_04Rubbing. She on his back. Like she on his back. You know who Tommy is, right? From uh hip hop. Yeah. You think she's bad? Nah. You tripping. Whoa.
SPEAKER_08I must be thinking about the wrong person then, because what I'm thinking is she like skinny.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Like she used to always fight. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07And shoot.
SPEAKER_08She was shooting.
SPEAKER_04Come on.
SPEAKER_03Wait, wait, is this is this a little scrappy?
SPEAKER_04Uh no. Yes, it's from that era of TV. You don't you gotta understand how he talked. It's from the love of hip hop Atlanta. Okay. Nah. I never thought she was that bad though. But you but we're not talking about Carly.
SPEAKER_08Alright, I might be getting it confused. I don't know.
SPEAKER_04You know what you was watching. Go ahead. How much was she paying? Six figures.
SPEAKER_07To just leave him alone.
unknownYeah, come on, yeah. What are we doing here?
SPEAKER_04Are they done?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, she she posted about it. She said, I have fun, but I ain't even like that.
SPEAKER_04I ain't that type of girl. That's what she said. Okay. Yeah, somebody had a conversation. Uh she forgot. She had him in that. She had him eating box and all that. Yeah, they ain't want that to become a uh Jalen Green. What's his name?
SPEAKER_07Jalen Green.
SPEAKER_08That's that's who messed with the different type of aura.
SPEAKER_07It's two different types of auras there.
SPEAKER_08I'm saying they ain't want that situation to have it.
SPEAKER_04Jalen Green and Salanja's son.
SPEAKER_08Oh yeah, I don't I don't know nothing about the young boy.
SPEAKER_04Jalen Green is a hundred-something million dollar man.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I don't know nothing about the Jalen Boy. He the guy.
SPEAKER_04There is no my aunt Beyonce or my uncle Jay-Z. He is the breadwinner in his family, Jalen Green. He's Jay-Z in his family.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, the fuck. I'm gonna fuck my old head Dre. And y'all need to kick rocks.
SPEAKER_04And I'm gonna put a baby in her nigga. Can y'all afford it? We walk in Thanksgiving talking bad.
SPEAKER_06What y'all did with y'all life? Take me to basketball practice. Yeah, next thing happened at his house. He walking in the baseball.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I'm about to say he ain't walking in nowhere. That's at his house. No, he just walk in the living room with the common area with all the food laid out. And nobody better not say nothing to her crazy. Never. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06I ain't do shit, but take me to basketball practice. I ran all them hizzes.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. He paid for that probably two times over for everybody that went to basketball practice with him.
SPEAKER_04Now, I know y'all would like us to address, oh, the double standard. He's young. She's old. I don't really give a fuck about that. They look like they was into each other. I can't tell you my 21-year-old ass went and the fuck with Tommy. I don't, I'd have been looking at motherfuckers crazy who like, she's taking advantage of you. Sure.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Ooh, I get to eat box. Tommy's box. I'm gonna fuck Tommy.
SPEAKER_08And he might have grew up having a little crush on Tommy or something, bro.
SPEAKER_07Easily.
SPEAKER_08That might have been one of them. Possible. Might have been on this list.
SPEAKER_07And Solange is 39, so Tommy's older than Solange.
SPEAKER_04Okay. They definitely probably gave her like, I think they might have gave her like 250, though.
SPEAKER_07Just chill, right? Yeah, come on, Tommy girl, please.
SPEAKER_04This ain't he ain't he ain't that.
SPEAKER_02I'm into 250.
SPEAKER_08And I think two, I think Tommy understood that he not that too and just took the money because she don't see nothing coming from that either.
SPEAKER_04I like Tommy enough and I think Holly about her enough to where I think she ain't take no breath.
SPEAKER_08Okay.
SPEAKER_02I think it was just a message, like maybe Solange hit her up. If the off if okay, you're right. Maybe Solange just hit her up and it went down like that. But if the Tommy gotta be drunk to be wild.
SPEAKER_07I don't think so.
SPEAKER_02Nigga, you tripping. She's taking that bread. Definitely taking that bread.
SPEAKER_04Because it's like it's that's like a peace offering, bro.
SPEAKER_02Tommy has taken penitentiary chances for less. She's taking that bread. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Like, like that's a peace offering, bro. You ain't even do nothing for the offer. Like, they just wake up and the offer there is like, yo,$100,000. Just please leave my nephew. Leave him alone.
SPEAKER_04And Tommy's so thorough. She probably told Salons, like, yo, I'm sorry, yo. I just seen him. Da da da da da. Like, I'm done. I was lit. He's so attractive. I'm a chill though. You know.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, baby boy, cute.
SPEAKER_04You know, she's gonna talk. I didn't do nothing with him. Lies.
SPEAKER_07You think they did nothing?
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_02Lies. I just said she would be lying if she said that.
SPEAKER_07I mean, you think they did it? What you think they did? They did it. They did.
SPEAKER_01They did. The big eyed T.
SPEAKER_04I can't believe Solange is at 40. I swore she was.
SPEAKER_07She had him at 18.
SPEAKER_08You couldn't have told me she wasn't 40.
SPEAKER_07I just remember her being a young mom, and I remember me being young and being shocked, like, damn, Beyonce's little sister's fucking.
SPEAKER_08Nigga. Who wasn't that?
SPEAKER_04Well, I mean, she was 18, 14, probably. He was around that age. Yeah. Yeah, but I didn't think, you know, you think Beyonce's little sister's an angel. You don't think. Nigga, you're gonna see her from a little kid to having one in her.
SPEAKER_02That's like, that's like when we found out uh Brittany Spears' little sister was was fucking and had a baby.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's like, whoa, what's she doing out here?
SPEAKER_04This bitch is grown. Exactly. Raven fucking two? You don't think that now? Huh?
SPEAKER_08You don't be thinking that way now.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Oh nah, cause, yeah. Like you know these little sisters, like Lotto's little sister, you know they're getting cracked.
SPEAKER_08That's happening.
Lotto Pregnancy And Internet Pile-Ons
SPEAKER_07That's another one. But Lotto's little sister, we didn't meet her when she was younger. 14, yeah. We met Lotto when she was young, though. Oh yeah. Stay out of, stay out of Lotto's business too, y'all. One more, one more time.
SPEAKER_04Everybody gotta stay. They've been killing her on the internet, bro. For what? For having a baby with 21 Savage. Oh, he a married man and all that shit. Doing all that extra shit. Yeah, whatever they got going on with that. I'm tired of people being in people's business. That's never grown up.
SPEAKER_02Some grown folks. They obviously know what they're doing. They've been doing their thing for a minute, man. Leave them people alone. And it's been a minute now.
SPEAKER_04Obviously, happy. That's never gonna stop. He's rich forever. As is she. She's rich. Like, they cool, bro. She had her baby. I don't care if he got three, four kids. Like, a lot of niggas is jealous. Le'Veon Bell, your fucking cornball.
SPEAKER_08He been corny.
SPEAKER_04Did you see what he said, Chris?
SPEAKER_08No. Nah.
SPEAKER_04He was like, I gotta get this a this is a dirty Mac and tweet. See?
SPEAKER_08I feel like Le'Veon been on a downhill spiral. He ain't as throw it off as A B, but it was something going on with them Stillers players, bro.
SPEAKER_04Because he was all down here. And Ben. Yeah, bro. That whole offensive side of the football. That's what they said allegedly. Tomorrow it's over, so.
SPEAKER_08Maybe that's why they got along.
SPEAKER_04This is his tweet.
SPEAKER_07Lotto just announced she's pregnant by a married man with three kids and made it part of her album rollout in all caps.
SPEAKER_04And that's who today's women look up to. We're doomed.
SPEAKER_03Nigga.
SPEAKER_04Did he say that because his bitch might have said?
SPEAKER_02That's up.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna give you one more chance to put it all together. Where's the fucking picture of your happy home, nigga? You think he ain't in them DMs?
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_04You think he ain't in Lotto DMs? Scraping and scraping scraping and scrap. He's definitely been in the responsive to it. He one of them niggas. Women be his next tweet after that is women be sixes thinking they tens. Oh yeah, she might have responded to him. She might have got him up out of there. That shit is so girly and lame. She got him up out there. And then when 21 Savage get the slaughterhouse on, you don't say nothing. Don't say nothing.
SPEAKER_08Slaughter gang.
SPEAKER_04Slaughter gang. Oh, I thought you were talking about something different. Like what? Are you talking about putting mitts on you? Mits. Bringing this Philly shit back to the pod.
SPEAKER_05Like some other fucking mitts.
SPEAKER_04Talk about guns, nigga. It's a nice down south. The fuck.
SPEAKER_08I thought you were talking about like how they did Freddie Gibbs up there.
SPEAKER_04In Buffalo? Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Nah, they got guns in Atlanta, dog.
SPEAKER_04That was in New York. Yeah, that's upstate New York. They had to rough niggas up. You'll be a Riker if you do too much defending yourself. That's crazy. But yeah, Lady Ann Bell, that was bad, man. And everybody assuming niggas was married. Like I said, we haven't seen no paperwork. I had to sit there. I was on the phone with someone. I say, yo, how do we know they married? But how do we know 21 Savage is married? Is he really British? Chris. I'm just, I don't know. How do we know? Yeah, I don't know. At this point, I don't think we know anymore because I think when we figured it out, something happened to get him back or something like that back then. I don't know. It's the rock, you bastard. Jay-Z got involved.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, so he, I don't know what I what I know anymore. I just know I don't know nothing about that and I don't want to know.
SPEAKER_04I just know 21 Savage makes music. I know 21 Savage has a baby with Lotto. I know Lotto's about to drop an album. Anything else is speculation.
SPEAKER_08Congratulations today. Congrats, man, again. Shout out to Lotto. Love ones. Shout out to 21 Savage.
SPEAKER_04Um how y'all feel about young Miami trying to backtrack on what not even backtrack or in defense of Diddy.
SPEAKER_02Um for her specifically. It's kinda nasty. Um 'cause I what what happened to women believe on women standing up, women being girls, girls, and shit like that? Because yes, sometimes your experience might not be the same as somebody else's, which seems to be everybody's story. Everybody keeps saying. And which seems to be everybody's story in the case of when it comes to Diddy. But so what? When does a person not have to be a monk? Just because there's a serial killer and he ain't kill you, that means he's not a killer. Like this nigga did these things that he's been accused of.
SPEAKER_04So why is he still such a great person to you and your eyes?
SPEAKER_07You want me to answer that? Yeah. You got anything before I answer?
SPEAKER_08My thing is I think because she was around him, so she's trying to save face on herself. Cause she potentially could have been involved in a lot of this. And I think a lot of people who keep trying to separate themselves out of this situation with Diddy, who keep acting like I don't know what was going on.
SPEAKER_04He never treated me like that. I think they're lying.
SPEAKER_07She's not lying. That's one. She's not weak. Everything she's doing, she chose to do, she was not manipulated.
SPEAKER_04She is the original city girl. And if we wanna be honest, we don't have to get into detail, but from Cassie's perspective, think about all the fun and air quotes Diddy was letting Cassie have. I think Miami young Miami thought she was winning. I can use your money. Fuck with you when I wanna fuck with you. And you gonna bring other niggas in here to satisfy me if you can't. Of course Diddy's a great guy to young Miami. And she didn't get her ass whooped. She got everything Cassie got probably. Not everything through during the stretch, but she probably got that same treatment, but with some respect. So my thing is this Diddy has done things like when he brings these people in the room that they allege that he did, like Cassie said she didn't, you know what I mean? That was a part of the having air quotes, having fun time. You think young Miami just that was having fun to her too? She thought she was fun with all of that sometimes. You you get what I'm saying? I do. I get what you're saying. I do. I get what a new perspective for me.
SPEAKER_08I get what you saying, but I'm just saying, when young Miami, she's having that same quote unquote air quotes as fun, somewhere in that she was doing something that I would I would say she didn't, diddy's not a great, all the way a great guy to her.
SPEAKER_04But she was around for the money though. Go ahead, Chris. Say what you think. I think cool.
SPEAKER_02Like, like you say, she is an original city girl. Like she gonna carry it, like, oh nigga, this is this is what we doing. You better be dropping this bag, doing X, Y, Z. You're not putting your hands on me, doing no shit like that. Like, nigga, is you fucking crazy? Stupid nigga?
SPEAKER_04I blew all this shit up today. But but I like your program and I ride, I'm riding for you. You turned me up, you gave me a show on revolt. I'm loyal to you, and I like what you got going on. It's not a crime to me. It wasn't a crime to Cassie. Did she get the show right away? Immediately, nigga. You crazy? What the fuck is you talking about? When they first started messing with it. What the fuck is you talking about? Episode one, he's on it. Okay. Immediately. It's lit. That still proves that. Everything is turned up. But but but the difference between how she got treated and Cassie got treated is Young Miami was publicly admired. Oh my god, this she just do I never seen him do that about Cassie. You ever seen that? He hid Cassie. Cassie was a fucking superstar. More than Young Miami was a superstar. I'm saying, more? Cassie? Superstar more than Young Miami? Hundred percent. 100%. The only reason why she didn't get bigger is because Diddy signed her the 99 albums. Right.
SPEAKER_08But I mean she took a she took some chicken for that though.
SPEAKER_04Look at the optics though. I'm just saying, look at their backgrounds, they both in the industry. One got treated good, as far as like, I'm just gonna be nice to you. And another one didn't get treated so good, but that's the difference, bro. You think Diddy wasn't letting young Miami fuck other niggas?
SPEAKER_08Yeah, so that's what that's I think that's my thought. When you say you keep saying one get treated good, I don't I'm not looking at it in that sense. I'm looking at it in the sense that one tolerated it more than the other.
SPEAKER_04I'm saying one was getting a ass whooped and one wasn't. That's a whole different I don't I don't know that. We do know we we we can't go off of speculation. We can go off a young Miami saying, yo, this guy treated me good, and we can go by us seeing him whoop Cassie's ass.
SPEAKER_02End of discussion. Yeah, back to my point though. Um as far as how like I ex I kind of expect her to ride, but yeah, no. Back when when what does a person have to do to no matter what how good they treat you, that you just have to say, yo, they're a bad person. You can't just keep putting it off. Well, they was good to me, they was good to me. Fuck the all the the fucked up things they did to everybody else they came across, but they was good to me. Like, when what does a person have to do to where you draw that line?
SPEAKER_04I I I know what you're saying. And and back to you, real quick, I can understand why you'll never agree. It's because you don't believe what she's saying.
SPEAKER_08Young Miami.
SPEAKER_04Exactly. So you so I don't expect you to agree with us, but we're just taking what she's saying at face value. Okay, like we're doing what everybody else is saying just for this moment. Okay, you know what I'm saying? Like, how do I know Cassie wasn't with everything? You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_08Like, because we no, she said you see what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_06We fucking got him. We don't need to do no speculating because it gets crazy. But where was I going again? He's good.
SPEAKER_02Oh, so what does a person have to do to uh okay just a bad person to you no matter all the good things they get?
SPEAKER_04Okay, where I will say it gets gray is when the other person, you're being intimate with the other person. So, like if you're friends with somebody who's doing something wrong or da-da-da-da-da, like it's a little different than having a sexual relationship with the other person. Cause it's just like asking, dang, you ever seen Breaking Bed? It's like, how could you like, how did you know Walt was doing all of that, and as a wife, you chose to help him? It's like, I'm his wife. Yeah, she chose to be a part of that. Some bitches just ride for their niggas just off of human nature. That's what I truly believe.
SPEAKER_08Like, right, but she wasn't on his side in the beginning, though.
SPEAKER_04And and breaking. No, but but when she did turn to his side, you just start to think why she could have. You don't look at it like all bad, like, you shouldn't have did that. You should have reported him. Sometimes there's more things at stake that they're thinking about because the situation is way more intimate for them. It's like, oh, this person did he been around my kids, he treats my kids good, da da da da. Like all of this shit could be hearsay for her the same way it is for us. And we gotta really think about that.
SPEAKER_02Uh I can't say at this point, it ain't it's not hearsay.
SPEAKER_04We seen the black and white footage, we seen Let's Let's think about who young Miami is. Just like Diddy hit Cassie, you think Young Miami was never in no domestic violence situations where she hit somebody or attacked somebody or can maybe see his explanation of, yo, I went through that bitch phone, she was lying, da-da-da-da-da, da da da da da da. And young Miami being like, Yeah, that was fucked up, puff, da da da. I would've and then tell her story about what happened with her. People share these type of stories. That's why I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but people will justify that shit quick. Definitely trauma bonding. Yeah, people will justify that shit quick. That's all I'm saying.
SPEAKER_02So to answer your question, I think that's how So the fact that there was a level of intimacy between them is still that's where I guess they can't step over that one.
SPEAKER_04And we always have the luxury to automatically assume that the significant other is guilty or a good person or wouldn't do those things either. Okay. So let me ask you. You know, maybe these are bad people too. Seeing bad people do things and just not call it out.
SPEAKER_08So let's let's change it a little bit and take away the intimacy, right? And bring in Usher, right?
SPEAKER_04Well, you can't leave out the intimacy.
SPEAKER_05What?
SPEAKER_08All right, let's. Because Usher said Diddy was good to him too. They haven't, well.
SPEAKER_06Do you see what I'm saying now, LB? Do you see you see what's going on now? All right, because what's good to you none of that.
SPEAKER_04He said him and Diddy got money. Like, basically, he got money for the culture, and we can't turn our back on what he did. Even though, because he basically tried to say, like, everybody not perfect. No, I agree. You can separate contributions from the man. You can. Okay. You can separate contributions to society from the man. So, my other question is this. I don't have to as an individual. Like, you know how what Chris asked you, like, what with level to being bad? My thing is this. How many people do you think you could be around so much? Like Usher, which is one of his artists, Miami, which was his girl. How long can you be around these people and people hide who they are or not bring it around you? Long time. Or do you think that he hides it who he was?
SPEAKER_02Uh Mo. Uh, no, I don't think they didn't.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, he didn't hide it on drink chaps, none of that.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So if he didn't hide it, the way these people be speaking is like everything was good. So they just accepted it, but go ahead.
SPEAKER_02Well, then that would bring more to look, look, look, that's why he's looking down and looking away. Because that would bring more to his point about the intimacy. But I would just, I would just say, um, I was just thinking like, nah, because niggas don't niggas don't do that for R. Kelly. They X'd everything out the game for him.
SPEAKER_04Uh. They did that a lot for him for a long time. Okay. Longer time than they had to do it for Puff. R. Kelly was out here being nasty when Puff was an apprentice.
SPEAKER_02Okay. I think the uh I think it was just a little more like, because people even said niggas knew Puff was doing some foul shit for a long time now. I think it's just become more public knowledge.
SPEAKER_04So when we say different society. So when we say people knew, this is where I always get confused. It's to what level? Because I don't think people knew Diddy was a monster the same way Cassie knew.
SPEAKER_02If people knew he was beating Cassie ass the way he was, beating it beat in a lot of people's world, Chris.
SPEAKER_04Eating your bitch ass, don't make niggas a monster, bro. It's not even enough in the NFL, bro. You need camera proof for it to be enough in the NFL. Happening ain't enough no more. That gets swept right up underneath the rug.
SPEAKER_02But I think if you know, if if like some of these people were fucking taking this girl to the hospital and doing shit like at what point was like enough enough? Like, what are we talking about?
SPEAKER_04Because you don't get in it. That's like if I come to pick you up to go play LA Fitness to go play ball, you got a black eye, you tell me you and your girl fighting. What do I say at that point? That's a little, that's a little different. But I was like, Or opposite.
SPEAKER_02Make it opposite. I would say on the other end, yeah, if you if somebody got to come to my crib and pick a girl up because pick my girl up because I whooped her ass and took her to the hospital, I I would hope somebody would come check me. Like, yo, what the fuck is going on in here?
SPEAKER_04Today, I think they would. Back then, I don't think they would have. I'm saying. Back then you definitely minded your business. Back then, let's say they you mind your business. I'm saying nowadays, if you actually tapped in and seeing what's going on and just seeing the possibilities or thinking about the possibilities of what could happen, for me, it would be hard for me to assume anything. Because I've seen videos on the internet where a bitch will get caught cheating, punch the nigga in the face. Cause they got caught cheating. Right. And if the nigga flash out and whoop her ass because of that, and her friend got to take her to the hospital because of that, no, I'm not justifying it and saying it's okay, but I'm not castrating that man and calling him a monster, bro. I'm not.
SPEAKER_02But even before it got to even before it got to, before it got to that point, you gonna investigate the situation or you just gonna leave it alone?
SPEAKER_04You see what I'm saying? You see when he starts using words like that when it comes to other motherfuckers' lives and what they got going on.
SPEAKER_02At some point, at that point, some if if uh if I'm coming to pick you up in one of them situations, you're involving me. And like it's not, I'm not just No, I'm not involving you.
SPEAKER_04I thought we were going to LA Fitness.
SPEAKER_02No, you see, that in that point, if we just go into LA Fitness, then we just going to Lit. But it goes down like my credit, take me to the spittle because I was in a No, I took, I'm taking you to the spittle because I care.
SPEAKER_04You cool with it. I'm just seeing that your eyes is fucked up, and I'm like, nah, dog, we gotta go. No, but that's a decision that I would have to make inward.
SPEAKER_02I'm talking about I'm I'm I I guess my situation's a little more drastic. Like when I say niggas going to the spit, it's no question. Like, it's not a fucking choice. Okay. You need to go, like, you're going to the house because you've not fucked it.
SPEAKER_04Now back now back to the main point.
SPEAKER_08Like the age old, like age old scenario where people like if you see two people fighting, like a a man and his old lady fighting on the street, do you get involved in that? Because sometimes people just say, yo, I'm not getting involved, because they'll both turn to start jumping you now.
SPEAKER_04And and and let's talk about the real life. You know what I'm saying? Let's talk about the real life event when Cassie. Yeah, go ahead. Let's talk about when Cassie lost. I mean, when Cassie was fighting Diddy. Uh-huh. Because that's where we kind of brought this from. We got it from.
SPEAKER_06She was eating that shit. That shit wasn't hurting her. So when you talk about those type of ass whoopings that Diddy was giving Cassie, I don't, I can't get involved in that all of the time unless the evidence is brought to me.
SPEAKER_04She had a couple marks, bro, but she ain't get the bing bom boom. You know what I'm talking about, the jaws where the bitches' eyes be closed, not. Some niggas are go on TikTok if y'all want to, bro. I'm saying there's a girl just went viral because her shit is super swollen because her man went through her iPad. Go ahead, keep talking. I'll show y'all.
SPEAKER_08I'm saying I think there's a thing where like Cassie, right? She probably went to people that she cool with and close with. And they had that conversation. Like the people that took her to the hospital. They might have gave her fight. Yo, if I was you, I would give from around this, da da da. But she's making the constant decision to go back, though, Chris. At that point, like if like he said for you, if he picked you up to go to LA Fitness, and he's gonna tell you, like, yo, maybe you shouldn't be staying there, bro. You wanna come live at the crib? You can come stay with me, da da da. You know what I'm saying? But you like, no, at LA Fitness, drop me off back home.
SPEAKER_04And you come out with another black eye the next day. This is what happens. This is what happened to a girl who went.
SPEAKER_01I don't know what the fuck. I don't know what the fuck he did to your ass. He hit you out with a dumb dumb dumb.
SPEAKER_05Y'all see her, bro?
SPEAKER_04She had neck brace on her. Neck brace. Now that type of ass whooping I'm investigating.
SPEAKER_02That's what I'm saying. That's that's that was my that was that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_04But that's all you say is be a drastic. No, that's what I'm saying. You're not whooping nobody, no girl ass like that in front of me. Okay. That's my point. And even in the investigation, right? She goes back. Oh, yeah, no, you see. I lost. Yeah. That's it. You gotta pack it up. I lost. If she goes back to that nigga, my efforts.
SPEAKER_08But that's when you turn your back on that situation. You gotta wash your hands out.
The Amputee Shooter Story Breakdown
SPEAKER_04And stop saying Stockholm Syndrome, y'all. Go look it up before y'all spread misinformation, man. Please, that shit be pissing me off every time, man. Just because one bitch got turned on by her bank robber. Y'all wanna justify all this bullshit started from Sigmund Freud and that pedophile PDF shit, man. Stop going by this psychology shit, man. Look up where psychology started from. Y'all keep going by all these psychological principles. Shit is wrong. I don't even think people are going by that. They're gonna buy Instagram real for real, for real. That's why motherfuckers is twisted. I'm just saying psychology. When people try to throw psychology and what they read in books about how people think, that shit was derived off of some wicked shit, bro, and to justify pedophilia. It's just what it is, bro. Just being real with y'all, y'all can look it up. My bullshitting. But um that was a good on Young Miami. That was actually, that was very introspective. Uh I guess I would say lastly, right? Before y'all want to get the basketball? Oh, amputee boy. We can't, we can't. No, I was about to say we definitely should. What's up with the amputee boy, LB? Quadruple amputee uh face murder.
SPEAKER_06Talk about quadruple. All right, we get up. What's the quadruple part about?
SPEAKER_04Like what does I don't one limb, two limb, three limb, four limb, amputated. No good. Not fully. Like they not fully there. So when they was using the word quadruple, I was about to say it could be nubs. Could be a little longer than a nub, but you know. So when they were saying quadruple, that wasn't how many people he killed. No. No, no, no, no, no. He killed one person. So what's that word then? What you mean? If you kill four people, quadruple homicide. No, it's a quadruple?
SPEAKER_08Think about something totally different.
SPEAKER_06That's when you I'm telling you, they had both of them words in the same sentence with him. Quadrubal, quadruplegic.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_06Nah. Listen. They never had those words together.
SPEAKER_04I don't whether what you read or not, yeah, but he got four nuts, basically. So that's nothing. Why they counting that? Oh, it's four. Yo, bro. Listen, I seen that video. He shoots better than me.
SPEAKER_06Yo.
SPEAKER_04And how did he load up with the skin? With a skin?
SPEAKER_06What does that mean?
SPEAKER_04The gun must have been loaded before.
SPEAKER_06You see what I'm saying? You see how the crazy this could get? Can we let this rock for this conversation? Because it's gonna be a lot of the gun then.
SPEAKER_04We talk about a burger, right? Alright, so look. Uh his name, his name is last name is Weaver. They said he was driving in the car. Alright, now stop. Pause. Yeah. Alright, pause. I don't want to come off ignorant. I really don't. How is all of this? Got the he got the he got the extended pedals. Yeah, they be having like the push pedals. So you've seen his arms when he shot, right? It's not fully, fully going. He got like the at least a little bit of lip. So it's a push. Bro, he's a professional corn hall player. I know. Because he can do that. That makes sense. These tosses. The corn hall throwing cornhall makes sense. But driving and loading up AR, how you hold the bullet. Tell me that now. Since y'all know every fucking thing.
SPEAKER_02Since you got your fucking degree.
SPEAKER_06How did he hold the bullet? He just let it rest and hope it didn't roll off his fucking wrist.
SPEAKER_08I'm saying he might have had one of these people load the gun for him.
SPEAKER_02Nah, I could tell y'all he didn't.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I could tell you.
SPEAKER_06He can throw out the bullet.
SPEAKER_04Putting the bullet in the clip ain't that easy, bro. You ain't tossing it up in the air like that. Alright, go ahead. I'm gonna let you finish reading, my fault. I'm trying to figure this out because I don't, I I never understood it. Man, listen, they said on the Sunday night he allegedly began arguing with his front seat passenger, who's 27-year-old Roderick Wells.
SPEAKER_08He shot him twice. Shot him twice in the head.
SPEAKER_02In the car? Yeah. Close.
SPEAKER_04A nigga with nubs is not shooting me in the car cruise right now. So he was in the back.
SPEAKER_02No, he was driving. And he's sitting in the passenger seat. You were driving. What the fuck are you doing?
SPEAKER_08What if he like, what if you think he thinks he was gonna shoot him while he just playing?
SPEAKER_04No, you can't be playing when he's gonna be a good one. You can't be putting a gun in your hand, nigga. What's the line on you winning that battle?
SPEAKER_02Uh minus a million. Minus money for you. He got a gun and you all armed? He don't got no arms or no legs. He's a fucking chick. I'm gonna beat the shit out that nigga. He tried to pull a gun on me. What are we talking about?
SPEAKER_07Do you think he pulled the gun or he just pulled it in there?
SPEAKER_02He probably had the gun sitting on his lap.
SPEAKER_03And then reached his little ass nub down there. Fumbled, reached both of his little nubs down there, fumbled it to get it right in his one hit. What the fuck are you doing?
SPEAKER_05What? Like go ahead, go ahead, OB.
SPEAKER_08Yo, all right. So after he shot him in the head twice, he then proceeds to ask the two passengers in the back to help him move the boat.
SPEAKER_06I'll be like, yes, brother. Deadliest nigga alive to me. I hear you, but I guess arms and legs. He's like the shooter Emmanuel. What's the basketball nigga?
SPEAKER_04Emmanuel Hands.
SPEAKER_06He's the shooter version.
SPEAKER_05And I ran for him.
SPEAKER_04Yo, that's insane. Did they help him? Huh? No, they refused. And they fled.
SPEAKER_08I hope y'all would've beaten the shit out of him. Yo, if y'all know that. That's why I'm on Chris's side.
SPEAKER_02And y'all run away.
SPEAKER_03Yo, bro. Man.
SPEAKER_08I'm a bit. That's why I'm on Chris's side about he should have the bull should have been able to knock the gun out. Alright, go ahead. Keep going. Because if you could flee, like just think. Like, imagine if he was thinking. Y'all niggas ain't going nowhere. Y'all better help me or y'all not.
SPEAKER_04That's what I would have thought he was thinking. Because the ass wasn't an ass. That's it.
SPEAKER_08If I'm in the backseat and he like, yo, y'all help me move this body. That y'all help me move this body was like a command. Yo, move now, bitch.
SPEAKER_02He can't turn around fast enough to point the gun at y'all. That's what I'm saying. Like, you have to be in the perfect position for him to shoot at y'all. As long as y'all run behind it, y'all good. Run behind him and split up, y'all good. He can't do nothing.
SPEAKER_04I think you're underestimating his skill. I think so too.
SPEAKER_08I think so too. I think your first logic about after he shot the first person or smack the gun out of his head or his nubs.
SPEAKER_04He would have never shot the never shot the first person. Put me in the car with him.
SPEAKER_02With the nigga, with Snoop saying training day, put me in the front seat with him. Put me in the front seat with him.
SPEAKER_08I don't know, Chris. The boy died. I don't want to put you in the front seat.
SPEAKER_02I beat the shit out of Nuggets.
SPEAKER_04Go ahead, go ahead and finish the story. I got Chris. It ain't minus money though.
SPEAKER_05Oh come up, big.
SPEAKER_02I beat the shit out of the house.
SPEAKER_05At least plus 240. Put the house on. Yo.
SPEAKER_04You the favorite, right? Not me with my forehead. Kill his friend. Don't try to turn each other twice in the head.
SPEAKER_08He ranked over you savage, bro. I don't know how you like you already said how he flipped it off his lad.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's that's crazy, bro. He's not doing all that. No man. Um, yeah, they refused. Uh they they they ran off.
SPEAKER_08They ran off and they called the police. Um, they said police later found the body at Wells, uh, found his body in the local yard. So I guess he did want to toss his body. Um, they tracked the car down about 150 miles away in Virginia, where he had salt treatment for um unspecified medical issues. So he checked himself in.
SPEAKER_04No, I can't think. Because he can't go too far. I don't, like I said, we gotta start underestimating this man, bro. Quell, he can't be on the rumble too far. He can't even drive every car in America. But he can fit in somewhere. But he can't drive every car in America.
SPEAKER_08He has to have a special car set up for him to drive.
SPEAKER_04One accomplice, he can get the fuck up out of there.
SPEAKER_08Okay. He gotta find that accomplice.
SPEAKER_04Who yeah, who he killed one. Yeah, he can't kill one. Because he kills his friends, so he gotta, you can't trust me.
SPEAKER_08And his other two friends, they left. So how many friends do you really have?
SPEAKER_04Because if you in a car with him, you was his probably only friends. Oh, one of his closest friends. If you killed, if he killed you. So that's three people going on his life.
SPEAKER_01I don't know if he got an old lady or not.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Um that chicken nugget boy. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I don't know if he got he might got an old lady, though, but if he do, he probably could call her.
SPEAKER_04Uh, I don't know if he got family, brothers, or whatever, but you don't got so much time, bro. Your friends in the back already dipped and called the cops. How far are you gonna get? Nah, we done fucked him up, bro. Beat the dog shit out of it.
SPEAKER_08So let me ask y'all this. The fact that he needed help getting the body out right then and there, but they said he dumped the body in a local yard somewhere else.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Did he find somebody to help him along the way?
SPEAKER_02He just kicked it out the front seat. Kick what? Kick the body.
SPEAKER_04With no legs?
SPEAKER_02With his nubs.
SPEAKER_04Come on, bro. Right, them drones do be numb. They do. The bottom. But he gotta go open the door, reached over, get back in the car to kick. I don't mean no harm, but if y'all know something I know about quadruple Egix, then quadruple Quadruple Egips sound crazy. If y'all know something about them that I don't know, they can do a lot. Like I'm not talking about all the other ones. I'm talking about his type. Like, no nothing. No fingers. Yeah, no fingers. Yeah, just fucking candy corn at the end. And the shit like the shape of a candy corn. How?
SPEAKER_08Yeah, that's what we got.
SPEAKER_02We got candy corn arms and legs.
Would You Take An ICE Job
SPEAKER_04Alright, another question. I don't think James will quit his job, but how much? 50k sign on bonus to work for ice for two years.
SPEAKER_02I already told you. I already told you. I looked this up, man. I got a charge. They ain't fucking with me.
SPEAKER_04Alright, if you did have charge.
SPEAKER_02Sign me up.
SPEAKER_04Especially if you get the 51st. Like you probably gotta work at least 90 days, right?
SPEAKER_02Come on. Niggas work for 90 days for less.
SPEAKER_08Well, usually how they do no sign-on bonuses, the first 90 days you might get like 5,000. The next 90, you know what I mean? They usually stipend that thing out.
SPEAKER_02Oh, after 45 days, you're gonna give me$25,000.
SPEAKER_04Please, no.
SPEAKER_08It was a two-year sign-on bonus, they're gonna drag that$50 over two years. But they're gonna pay you your salary every week. But you just gonna get bonuses. That's it. So$25 a year. I'm mad at that. Sign me up.$25 a year. I get all that average care and all that. Yeah, give me a year.$5,000 a quarter?$6,000 a quarter?
SPEAKER_04Would you be able to deal with the backlash?
SPEAKER_02I get to put my ski on like everybody else.
SPEAKER_07Because you know your sister's gonna turn your back on you. At least one of them.
SPEAKER_02I get to put my ski on like everybody else. Yeah. Oh yeah, nobody'll know.
SPEAKER_04That's too scary.
SPEAKER_02Nobody knows.
SPEAKER_04You know, when you're going into it like that, you don't deserve the 50 from me.
SPEAKER_02Why?
SPEAKER_04Cause you like, oh, I don't want niggas to know. I'm talking about niggas who are about to be ice agents and stand on it. Like have to go to the airports too.
SPEAKER_08You gotta take your ski off at the airport. But it's people who was ice agents before this. Before they got put on the streets like this, though. It's not like a new thing.
SPEAKER_02Yo, sign me up. Fuck it, bro. Fuck what y'all niggas sign up. Sign me up on it. It's not enough money. Shit. What's that? What's the salary like though? As well.
SPEAKER_0770 to 120. So you can end up potentially making 150 a year.
SPEAKER_04I'd rather keep selling bread. What y'all think the quota is? That's a good question.
SPEAKER_02Wait, wait. What do you mean by that?
SPEAKER_07Like how many Mexicans and Africans and how many people? You people.
SPEAKER_08How many illegal people, undocumented people, two you gotta go get?
SPEAKER_07A month, a week. What happened?
SPEAKER_08Give me a number. Alright, so let me ask you. I'm gonna throw you a number. So what if they say you gotta give us you gotta find 50 people a month to get away?
SPEAKER_04Damn, nah.
SPEAKER_02That's insane. That's a lot of talent anyway.
SPEAKER_04You gotta tell on two people a day. You were I was agent already.
SPEAKER_02I was always look going into this with like, yo, I'm letting niggas go. Like they're gonna be like, yo, chase him. I'm like, all right, I got him. All right, 10 a month. You go with 10 a month? Nah. I never wanted to be that. Uh I was just going to do that. So how you think you're gonna last two years? Because they're gonna fire you. Not doing your job. I mean, I was there. Like, I was there when we pulled up on niggas.
SPEAKER_08I did that part. I I rolled out. You better be doing some immaculate research of having people. That's still like telling.
SPEAKER_04Even if you doing like the research, like over there on Fifth Street. This is literally dry snitching. Yeah. Hold on, what part? Like you wanting to be just involved, like just involved just enough so niggas can't say you told.
SPEAKER_02No, I'm saying I'm letting niggas get away. I'm not like they're gonna be like, oh, today we hitting over here. All right, cool.
SPEAKER_04That's what that's what they judged.
SPEAKER_02He's getting fired.
SPEAKER_04How did you let the four or five Mexican lady who's 360 get away? Yeah. And they're gonna be looking at you as the one to go run and go get him.
SPEAKER_02She's related to Speedy Gonzalez.
SPEAKER_04Yo, this nigga's stupid, yo. Yeah. You be fired, nigga. Within 90 days before you get off that probation. Once he says that in the debriefing, right? When he said Gonzalez, they're gonna have all his paper recording. He won't even get the first part of the bonus. They're gonna put they're gonna put to a morality clause in your contract. Like, yeah, um when you say this, you forfeit all the money.
SPEAKER_06It's gonna be exactly Gonzales in the contract.
SPEAKER_08At will employment, they're gonna let you go with the 90 days. They got you. Now, I bring this up in the 87th day.
SPEAKER_04I bring this up. These niggas crazy. I bring this up because they are killing this girl on threads, on Twitter. They're calling her all types of coons, all types of everything. This black girl makes some of the worst decisions in her life. Da-da-da-da-da. They going crazy.
SPEAKER_02But for what? They think she the only black lady that works for ice.
SPEAKER_04Uh, I mean, one thing, one thing black people wanna do is fuck up black people. That's all I know. They only care because she looks good. Now they saying she can't even go to the cookout. Who looks good?
SPEAKER_02I that's why I think people is only on. I'm not saying she looks good, but I think they only care because she uh she's attractive. She's not the only black lady that works for ice.
SPEAKER_04Can't be. What are we talking about? Somebody say you're just bitter, she has a better job than you. A lot of people she do have a better job now. Like, I mean, let's be honest. She's probably making more money than a lot of people was in them comments. They said, but it's cool for her to harass minorities. Some white dude said she just lost her black heart and I'm white. Alright, bro. Like you never fucking gave you some authority, nigga.
SPEAKER_08So we allowed you to take some.
Corporate Ethics And Pay Reality
SPEAKER_04These have to be bots in the comments because ain't no way y'all defending ice. We not defending ice, we defending a human. Oh, and this is what I had a thought of too. It's like with this same idea, you can't work nowhere. Exactly. You almost can't work nowhere. Okay, explain that.
SPEAKER_02Every company do some some sort of bad.
SPEAKER_04Corporate get real tricky. Real nasty. Any anytime you work in somewhere that's about the bottom line, they don't give a fuck about people. They will step on people. Yeah, don't give a fuck about people. Yeah. So it's like what's what's doing society worse? ICE agents arresting illegal immigrants or these corporations and these companies not really paying people or hiking up the pay for people for what people deserve. I don't know. I think one of those would change the quality and fabric of a lot of people's lives quick.
SPEAKER_02And that's why I consider taking the ice job.
SPEAKER_04Right. Because if you ooh, that came full circle. Because if y'all actually gave me better pay, I wouldn't have to go. That 50,000 bonus wouldn't be enticing. Exactly. I agree.
SPEAKER_08But they're gonna underpay you to the death and people gonna keep stepping on you the same, quote unquote, black people gonna step on you and become the manager and pay you$12.
SPEAKER_04I think being underpaid and being paid less is different. Less than the people above you is different. Like I think before, I know when we was coming up, I just felt like if people were underpaid, cool, but I just think people got paid less, but I didn't feel underpaid at certain points. I think being paid according to what you do is better, according to the amount of work you could put out and the amount of money you make that company is beneficial. That's why I always like bartender. Okay. Because you make money on how much money, like based off of how much money you make. And you can make your own money, so it's like two pots. Yeah. That's why I like commission-based jobs too.
SPEAKER_08Like if Walmart was commission-based, like yo, if somebody helped you out and you can like, you know, give commission to that, people would be doing way better.
SPEAKER_04Because there's going to be people and there's people in Walmart right now who will literally help you to the, like, walk you around the store, take you to everything, and get paid the same as the person who just hiding the aisle 12 on their phone. That's what's fucked up about nowadays. And then there's a person above you, like a regional manager who's getting paid with damn near the whole shift over there is getting paid.
SPEAKER_08And he's not even, he just comes to the store telling y'all, like, yo, y'all should clean this up. This should be.
SPEAKER_07And he's sitting back and be on his phone most of the time, right?
SPEAKER_08Yeah, he's in meetings. Quote on. You know what I mean? They're having Zoom calls and all that. He just making sure the stores ran. Middle managers.
SPEAKER_03Store gonna run itself.
SPEAKER_08Store's gonna run itself.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I get it. You need local managers in the store, but you don't need those middle managers in between. You don't even be expecting people to be at certain like electronics unless you need something. They're not an electronic unless you need something. You press a button and somebody coming to a lot of these stores now. I hate that. And they made it easier because at Walmart, the people, the the people could like open with their phone.
SPEAKER_02Oh shit, for real?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and they go into they go on the digital tag, they just announced that. Like technology is making job market way easier. So I think with it, with it doing that, there's not gonna, they should pay people more that's working there. Cause motherfuckers be miserable, bro, at all of these places. Walmart.
SPEAKER_02Because they're not paid enough.
SPEAKER_04McDonald's. How you underpay people and still mess up people's checks from time to time?
SPEAKER_03Play with people's money.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, and expect them not to get mad. That's be the crazy part to me. How you short somebody 12 hours and you only paying them a little bit anyway. Don't 12 hours mean something.
Gas Prices And Cost Of Living
SPEAKER_04Mean a lot. Mean a lot. It don't mean you could pay me it next week. It don't mean to come in here and tell me I can get that next week. 12 hours change what you eat and change if you eat.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, uh, I've been meaning to fucking mention this for weeks. Like, that's like the same shit with the fucking gas prices.
SPEAKER_06Oh my God, bro. Thank you. Yo, we've been trying to get to this topic for three weeks.
SPEAKER_02And gas has only went up even 20 cents more since then.
SPEAKER_04All in the three weeks to keep going up. I swear to God, me and Chris had one talk. Like, yo, gas is yo. It's looking crazy. I know. I go to fill the truck up. Wait, listen. We saying, nigga, four days later, it was up a whole dollar. I'm putting gas in my truck every two, three days. Bro. What I used to spend, it's way higher.
SPEAKER_08I had to call my little brother, like, yo, was you running on empty? Like, did you let it run all the way out before you filled it up? Nah, it just the price is.
SPEAKER_04It looked like my truck's been on E and he's filling it up. It's crazy. That shit is insane. Prices are insane. And even to fill my car up, bro. I go to I got$30 to fill my car up. Gas is up.$40.$40,$45. You get what I'm saying? And I can only be amounting to the people who gotta get the$94 and the$93.
SPEAKER_02Gas is up on average$40 to$1.20. 40 cents to a dollar. That's how much gas is up on average.
SPEAKER_04My aunt DJ called me and apologized. I said, yo, because I put gas in her car and shit. She was like, oh.
SPEAKER_02Over the last month. That's that's it literally in 30 in 30 days.
SPEAKER_04But yeah, my aunt DJ, I called her. I put gas in her car and shit. I had her car. So I'm like, yo, I went here. She's like, oh, you should go here. It's cheaper. I'm like, yo, gas going up. She like, nah, I go here. I'm like, all right. Yeah. She called me back two days later. She said, yo, I am so sorry. She said, everywhere I went, it was high. High. I'm like, oh, everybody, I warn you. Yo, people keep telling me, like, oh, just get gas now because it's gonna keep going higher. I'm like, it's nothing you could do. Like, if you're driving, you're just gonna have to eat it.
SPEAKER_08Like, it's there's nothing you can do. There's nowhere you can go. Only thing you could do right now is hope that when gas was cheap, you had gas points or rewards or something that you can kind of work it down a little bit.
SPEAKER_04I still got a half a tank from the gas that was like 280. Okay. My car was chilling. That's the good gas. That's gonna last.
SPEAKER_02I just as far as them points go. I've been killing Wawa to get them points, bro. And that shit, you could only get up to 30 cents off, and that that's not even what gas used to be.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. They got us. That L's coming. That gas L is just, and I don't think, and one thing I will tell people, it's not going down.
SPEAKER_02I'm about to say they said keep going higher. This is locked. And once this is how I feel about it.
SPEAKER_08Once they figure out that we can pay for it, like unless people just literally start going to get more electrical, like electric cars, or something shifts, and where they like, all right, not enough gas is being bought, they won't go down. They're just gonna accept that we're paying it, and it's gonna be what it is.
SPEAKER_04Because I'm getting gas.
SPEAKER_03I got to. Oh, I'm moving. I'm driving. I'm going, getting to where I got to.
SPEAKER_04And it's a hurt piece driving through different places. Cause I know I drive a lot, and one thing I do look at is different gas prices. Yeah. And just seeing that shit go away.
SPEAKER_02You gotta no, when you drive past that place that got the gas for the low, and you just filled up 20 miles down the road, and the price was high as shit. Yeah, you're mad as fuck.
SPEAKER_07Yeah.
SPEAKER_08I done rolled past a couple gas stations that's still that's closed, and you see the number, like the old numbers on the joint. Oh, nah. I be about to make my way. That's sick, man. And it's like, oh, that shit closed, bro. No, they closed for a reason. I thought that three dollars was, I thought that was still the price. Like, nah, that gas station closed.
SPEAKER_07I remember me and my ex got gas for like a dollar.
SPEAKER_04It's 2020, 2021, like a dollar ninety.
SPEAKER_02Dollar eighty nine type shit.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, bro. But we was driving down south. Yeah, that gas is going. Uh good luck, everybody. That shit's gonna it's gonna change a little bit. If you drive a lot, it's gonna change shit. Definitely change. I know for me, I'm gonna drive less now. I'm not. And it's about to be the summertime. The AC's still coming on. Oh, that. I'm not putting the windows down. Yeah, I don't do that. I don't even like the air. Air be hot as shit. Yeah, blowing hot. I'll just turn on my heat. But I don't need the hot air blowing.
SPEAKER_08I said the summertime comes. Man said he's gonna turn on his heat. I will.
Roots Picnic Plans And Festival Talk
SPEAKER_04You sick. Dang, LB, you going to the roots picnic? I'm definitely going. I need to sell my other day ticket. I don't know if I want to go to the festival two days. I don't think I want to go two days. Now I need to see what they got in the early days. I need to see if they got some good podcasts or something.
SPEAKER_07Cause I will just sit there and just vibe out, smoke some L's and some podcasts.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, if Hov is the first day, that second day ticket is getting sold, even if it's for$25.
SPEAKER_07For real?
SPEAKER_02God, my money's worth.
SPEAKER_08I think that's the hard part selling that second day because everybody.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_02That's why it'll be for the low.
SPEAKER_04The only person who wants it is somebody who you have to get, I would just give it away. Yeah. I think it's down to that point because there's probably so many people who just be willing to just give their ticket away. But I think there's also a lot of people who like who not. Niggas are good at too much. Some people are upset with the roots stuff.
SPEAKER_07On the second day. Right. Because Erica Badu as a as a as a headline include.
SPEAKER_02That's not it.
SPEAKER_07She does got bangers.
SPEAKER_02She do got bangers. It's the right vibe for it's and it's the right vibe for the roots people.
SPEAKER_04Oh, 100%. So because Mary J tore shit down. Jasmine Sullivan tore shit down.
SPEAKER_08Okay.
SPEAKER_04They're gonna have to bring a lot of those like secondary, like not second, the people who's underneath the two main headliners on that second day that's the first one. Kalani.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, maybe like they gotta put somebody over there to help.
SPEAKER_04I don't know why T.I. wasn't the headliner. That was kind of disrespectful. Over Erica Badu, right? Yeah. That's what I thought. T.I. would. I think it's just for the vibe. For the vibe of the festival. Gave the rap on Saturday. I think T TI will have to be there the same day as Hove, Proud. Chris. I think they're gonna do opposite days. Chris. Philly is going to be fucking lit that day.
SPEAKER_02Oh, my tickets are bought.
SPEAKER_07I gotta figure out how I'm gonna play today, but I think I'm gonna play it chill.
SPEAKER_04I think what time it will be like one o'clock, right? Yeah.
SPEAKER_07I'm gonna be there early.
SPEAKER_04In line. All day, nigga. There ain't gonna be no line like that. Okay. No, you just walk into the party. Yeah, not at one. I never been to the roost picnic. Oh, yeah. Well, I never been to the roost picnic either. I just know how the festival should really give it up. Yeah, just all festivals. You have which festival you been to? I've been to Made America. Made America, yeah. That's the one I've never been to. But all of them festivals LB like in the beginning, like you can get in. You can walk around freely. Like everything's not as long. Yeah. I know what you're saying. So I still I'm still going to work that day to just pop right back out. This will be my third roots picnic. Too old to go to Rolling Loud. I'm done with that. That's retired.
SPEAKER_08You've been to that before though, right? Twice. Yeah. I remember you going to Miami for that. I never been to that. Never been to Rolling Loud. They got another, what's the other festival they be having out, like somewhere in like Arizona or something like that? Somewhere out the west towards Coachella. That's in Calvin. Okay, okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_07Coachella? I think that's what it is. Yeah, that's that's like a younger joint, too. That's we missed that wave. Gotcha. We were supposed to go to Coachella when we was like 22.
SPEAKER_08I wanted to go to Dreamville, but I guess that's over now. That's a dog.
SPEAKER_07Nah, I think they changing it to something else.
SPEAKER_04They rebranded it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Okay.
SPEAKER_04I would like to go to that. But yeah, um, I got scared. I thought the fucking thought it was over. Yeah, and I ought to blame James because it's never happened when it was just me and Chris. Yeah. It did has it. No. Alright, man. Um, niggas got anything else before we go?
Lakers Takes And March Madness Picks
SPEAKER_02Oh, real quick. Um, we ain't really get into too much sports, but the Lakers will be the third seed in the West. Luca Donetric is that nigga.
SPEAKER_04Climbing that MVP, but Shah is minus 900. Shah's minus 900? Shah's minus 900, Luca plus 1,000. Come on.
SPEAKER_08The Reigns on the city. What about that? Uh, did y'all put that ticket in with our defensive player of the year talking about Wendy and all that? Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_02And then Cade fell right the fuck off.
SPEAKER_04Only one he probably not gonna get is the MVP, right? Yep. It's gonna be he got the MVP he got the rookie of the year. And the rookie of the year, right.
SPEAKER_08Who's the rookie of the year? Khan. Khan.
SPEAKER_04And that's been our man before the year started.
unknownHe wanted the Duke.
SPEAKER_04Like, we we never questioned why he was the number one, number four pick. Ever. We used to get mad at him because not mad at him, but like he he didn't really show this at Duke only because Cooper was there. He just but but no, he's really that bull. Connect was really that bull. Oh, March Madness this weekend.
SPEAKER_02What's up, man? We got St.
SPEAKER_04John's on Friday. Y'all got St. John's? Yep. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Or St. John is tough out.
SPEAKER_04Blow out.
unknownSt.
SPEAKER_08John's.
SPEAKER_04They're gonna cook down. Okay. Cook who's doing the cooking.
SPEAKER_02Alright, cool.
SPEAKER_04Say you don't gotta do that with me, bro. My bad. You know how you know how I fuck with them. My bad. My team gonna win too. Texas?
SPEAKER_08Who y'all play?
SPEAKER_07I think Connecticut. Oh, yeah. We're gonna beat them. That's a good junk.
SPEAKER_02Nah, this tournament looking alright, though. I like nice. I like how the tournament's shaping up your boy. Killing.
SPEAKER_08It's probably the first year I ain't watching.
SPEAKER_04A cuff. Killing. Oh, and we did have a debate earlier or just a conversation, I would say, because some idiot. I don't know who you are. If you know James, you're an idiot. You bet him$20 that Darren Peterson would not be a top five pick. That is insane. Boy smoking meth. Big meth.
SPEAKER_08Oh no. He made that bet too easy. He just don't like Darren Peterson.
SPEAKER_04Should have just left it at that. Some things you just can't. I got Darren being the fifth best when it's all said and done. I'm just watching and watching. I can't take these other niggas. I can't take him over any of the other niggas. Maybe Cam Boozer, just based off a style and play, style of play, and what the NBA is doing right now. The NBA game. But it's like, no matter how good I see Darren Peterson scoring, right? It's fire. Da-da-da-da. But like, nigga, I don't fuck with Anthony Edwards, nigga. Edwards do all of that shit and will dunk on you. Man more athletic than him. So it's like, Acuff's at least a point guard. Like, I know, worst case scenario, Acuff would drop dimes on the whole league. Okay. Cam Boozer, I know he's gonna get boards, bro. I know he's just gonna be strong as shit. Whether he's gonna be like a defensive player being able to check four or five, sometimes two, which he does right now. And three, I mean. AJ, you already know how I feel about him. Generational fucking talent. I don't think nobody can do, nothing that he can do. I don't see no losses in getting any of them. And who am I missing? Oh, Caleb Wilson. And Caleb Wilson. That's another one where I'm just like, hmm. Dumb athletic. Translates. He dunks you ever seen his highlights? No. We'll show you after this pod. But he dunks everything. Like it's crazy. And I see it translating versus like, how many but like we just watched Batman and Bio get 83.
SPEAKER_06How many buckets do niggas think Darren Peterson's gonna be getting out here? Like Cam Thomas gets buckets.
SPEAKER_04He just got waived. He gets buckets, buckets too. It's like, am I going to assume Darren Peterson's gonna be able to get more buckets than that automatically? Because what is he is he gonna be dunking on niggas? Is he super athletic? Is he gonna be diming niggas up? Do he play defense? Like, what is his specialty? Being nice ain't enough. Oh my god, yes. Oh my god, yes. But I don't know if that's a specialty for him. You know what I'm saying? Like, like, like, are they gonna draft him number one to be a spot up shooter? Nah. Not if you're saying AJ and these people are like who they are. You know what I'm saying? I can't draft somebody who's gonna sit in the corner. It's not like I see Darren Peterson dropping dimes on niggas. It's a lot of good moves. But even the good moves it is, it's like tough shot, tough shot, tough shot, tough shot, tough shot, tough shot. It's just not how the league works. Like, you don't do you think it's about where he get drafted though? Because sometimes those where it was tough shots because he's the best player right now. He might walk into a situation where he's around other great players. So it's like that's how it was on his Kansas team. They ain't lose without that nigga. I don't think they lost at all without him, actually, right? Oh no. Like without him? Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I don't think they lost. Okay. They got nice people on his team. Like they got all Americans. They got, like, I can't say looking on his team that he's gonna be the best NBA player. It's still one of them things you never know. We're gonna see where he gets drafted. But his team is nice. It's not like he went to BYU, like um AJ. No, nigga went to fucking Kansas, bro. Like, always loaded. That's a fact. So I don't know, bro. I I I I like him, but that I think that not playing just it fucks it up for me.
SPEAKER_02Real quick, there's still one more perfect bracket out there in the world.
SPEAKER_04One?
SPEAKER_02One.
SPEAKER_04It has us winning the national championship. So shout out to that bracket. I hope you run it. I hope I I hope they uh run that joint. We ain't never gonna see that. Somebody have a perfect bracket all the way through the tournament? No, automatic billion dollars too. I don't think I've seen it. They deserve it. Nobody's ever had a perfect, right? Never. I didn't think it was still one out there.
SPEAKER_03It's one out there.
SPEAKER_04Do y'all know the odds of it?
SPEAKER_03There was two. There was two before the um before whoever St.
SPEAKER_02John's played last.
SPEAKER_04Oh, uh. It's like filling up the odds, it's like filling up the whole entire state building, the whole Empire State Building, another building next to that with marbles, all poisonous, all poisonous marbles in both buildings, full. You gotta pick the one. And then there's one that's not poisonous. And you gotta pick the one marble. I'm not making this up. I'm not making this up. I mean, this makes sense though, because how long niggas been doing brackets, and nobody has picked a bracket yet. It's impossible. How can you? There'll be fucking millions of entries every year. Probably hundreds of millions, probably billions of entries so far, and we have never seen nobody do it yet. Me and him, we didn't even try to make a bracket this year. Yeah, just because it was like I didn't, I didn't want to just guess. Yeah, I've been off the bracket, the bracket channel for real. Yeah, I'm done with that. I ain't make a bracket.
SPEAKER_08They got that. But yeah, so there's one left. Shout out to them, y'all. North Carolina Fire Day coach, too. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_04It's not news. That's writing writings on the wall. Oh, yeah, and I'm back into college basketball. Like, I'm gonna be looking at recruits, seeing who gets what. Only thing that's getting harder to keep up with is the transfer portal. That it's just so difficult to see who's going places and why they going that place. Like, oh my head hurts, man.
SPEAKER_08It was like that in college football.
SPEAKER_04Y'all got y'all got a lot of y'all got a lot of potential recruits coming up, depending it, but I think it depends on how y'all playoff is about to go. I seen that seven foot nigga. I don't I don't check for y'all like that, like that. Oh, that's crazy. Sixers, y'all good? Are we? You tell me. Eagles good? Or we choose straight, Eagles straight. Eagle straight. We got Reek.
SPEAKER_02Oh, James, you here now. We're going to Tennessee, man. We're gonna go to Tennessee with our boy, man. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_08I started that plan.
SPEAKER_04Oh say that. I started that plan. I'm definitely with that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_04100% I'm in Tennessee.
SPEAKER_03All right.
SPEAKER_04You let niggas believe what they want, right? What? You said he started that, right? Oh, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03I mean.
SPEAKER_04I didn't call you and start that?
SPEAKER_03You did, you did. You called you called me.
SPEAKER_04Alright. But what did I tell you when you called me? I don't know what you said. I don't even think you knew the game was in Tennessee.
SPEAKER_06Alright, yeah. All right, yo. It's been it's been real, man. Out the mud. We out the mud with it.
SPEAKER_05This nigga's crazy.
SPEAKER_04He know I knew it was in Tennessee. He just did, I just didn't know about the schedules. No, I told you schedule didn't get really good. Like, you know what I mean? Like, you know how I don't be knowing shit like that. Like, oh, I thought, because you know, back in the day, the time I came up in, the schedules match Madden. So if you went two years deep in Madden, the schedules was the same. It's nothing you could tell me. Schedules used to be set for three years ahead of us.
SPEAKER_08If you go two years, the teams will match.
SPEAKER_04The weeks matched. Yeah, the weeks not gonna match though. And old Madden's, they matched.
SPEAKER_08I'm saying the reason why they're not gonna match now because it's too much other stuff going on. TV and shit like that. Yeah, yeah, bro. TV contracts and all that. They switch stuff.
SPEAKER_04I'm cool. Bro, we play NFL games on Thursdays and Wednesdays and Tuesdays, like this game all the time, bro. Black Friday games is over.
Final Thoughts And Wrap-Up
SPEAKER_07Alright, y'all. Um it's been real. This is the end of this memory card. It has five minutes left. It's a lot of pain on this joint, man. Um it's a good card.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna close this card out, man. I'm glad you was on the final episode on this card, yo.
SPEAKER_07No, real shit. Real shit. Hold up. Where's my buttons at? All right, y'all. It's been real, man. Y'all done? That's it.
SPEAKER_02Going play button one last time, man.
SPEAKER_04Fuck it. Like it's nothing, cuz it's nothing, bitch.
