But it was in these moments of brokenness that she experienced the fullness of God’s healing power—not just for her son, who went on to defy medical expectations, but also for herself. “Healing starts when we stop pretending and let God into the places that hurt the most,” she reflected.

By equipping caregivers, teachers, and everyday people with tools to understand trauma, she’s creating opportunities for deeper connection and lasting impact.
