Showing Up in the Hard with host Corree Roofener

It’s easy to show up when everything is working—when success feels effortless, when relationships are flowing, when the path ahead is clear. But what about the days when it’s not? The days when you feel stuck, exhausted, or like nothing is going as planned? Those are the days that define us. In those moments, we have a choice: to sit in our comfort, to retreat into what feels safe, or to take even the smallest step forward. Because how we show up on the hard days is how we show up in life. It’s in those moments that we must ask ourselves—is the dream, the impact, the legacy I want to leave important enough? And if it is, what am I willing to do to make it happen?

Parenting, business, relationships—every aspect of life has hard days. And those days force us to confront what we’ve always done. Do we repeat the same patterns because they feel familiar, or do we challenge ourselves to evolve? Growth isn’t comfortable. Healing isn’t linear. But the most courageous thing we can do is to face those challenges head-on—to rest when needed, but not stay in the rest. To fall, but to rise again. To ask, What is my next best step? and then take it. Because on the other side of the hard days, there is transformation. There is clarity. There is the life we are meant to live.
