Adventures in Marriage
We began this latest adventure to encourage others and share some of the blessings we experienced in our marriage. We recently celebrated our 25 Wedding Anniversary and noticed how many good people went through very difficult divorces. We have struggled watching family and friends end relationships that meant so much to us and many others. We want to elevate marriage in the cultural conversation and help others realize the blessings God has for them when they love their spouse as Christ loves the church...and along the way, we get to spend a little more time together!

Borrowing from Willard F. Harley's book 'His Needs, Her Needs,' Courtney and Shawn share their latest adventure. Harley talks about the importance in 'recreational companionship' in your marriage. Courtney and Shawn recap their experience in Birmingham completing a 12 mile ruck around the city with an events and apparel company called GORUCK.
Although sore and tired, Courtney and Shawn returned home with great memories and even more importantly, with shared fun to strengthen their relationship.
