The Non Profit Podcast Network
The Non Profit Podcast network is a compilation of not for profit businesses, organizations and community entities that are invited to be interviewed on the podcast pro-bono, use the network to find like organizations doing great work in their communities and source a one-stop listening shop of exclusively non profit organizations. This outlet is meant to give each featured non profit an opportunity to tell their story in their words, giving listeners a better and more complete understanding of the mission, vision and values as well as clearly delineating who they serve and how they're funded. Our intent is for this network to become a useful tool in helping any non profit organization begin the journey to successfully telling their story though podcasting then using that podcast as a marketing tool to reinforce their current supporters, reach new potential donors and volunteers through an easily deployed podcast. Growing reach for awareness with the speed of digital, this is just one more opportunity to get their story told to more people faster. By doing so, we expect this process to further embed the organizations in their communities of service as a result of the simplicity of distribution, the nature of the content and the ease of access to learn more about them.

Breakthrough Sacramento: Setting the Stage for Student Success For Over 30 Years.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this episode. Please send me a text...
Ever wondered how a summer program can transform a child's future? Breakthrough Sacramento's 30th anniversary is a testament to the staying power of education and mentorship. Join me as Faith Galati, the dedicated Executive Director of Breakthrough Sacramento, shares the floor with an energetic eighth grader, Johanna. Their stories intertwine to paint a vivid picture of the program's history, its impactful peer-teaching approach, and the ways in which it champions educational equity, helping students like Johanna build a solid academic foundation during the pivotal summer months leading back into the regular academic schedule.Imagine a classroom where raps, cheers, and dynamic learning are the norm. That's the reality for participants in the Breakthrough Summer Program. This episode looks at how unconventional methods and a vibrant learning atmosphere can lead to significant academic strides. We explore how the Breakthrough National Collaborative aids in crafting a well-rounded curriculum and exchanging best practices to benefit learners across the nation. It's not just about the books; it's about fostering a love for learning and a drive for academic excellence. Our conversation also demonstrates the value of experiential activities and intricate college preparation processes offered by Breakthrough Sacramento. There's more to education than what's taught in the classroom, and we delve into how experiences like skiing and kayaking, paired with comprehensive high school advising and college counseling, set the stage for success. The educational landscape is shifting, and we tackle how Breakthrough Sacramento navigates these changes, shaping futures by steering students through high school curriculums, college admissions, and the significance of investing in education to prevent negative outcomes in vulnerable communities. This has been one of our community's best kept secrets to say the least and it's time now to make some noise about all the good that's been done the past 30 years and how that's going to make a difference going forward.
