The Non Profit Podcast Network
The Non Profit Podcast network is a compilation of not for profit businesses, organizations and community entities that are invited to be interviewed on the podcast pro-bono, use the network to find like organizations doing great work in their communities and source a one-stop listening shop of exclusively non profit organizations. This outlet is meant to give each featured non profit an opportunity to tell their story in their words, giving listeners a better and more complete understanding of the mission, vision and values as well as clearly delineating who they serve and how they're funded. Our intent is for this network to become a useful tool in helping any non profit organization begin the journey to successfully telling their story though podcasting then using that podcast as a marketing tool to reinforce their current supporters, reach new potential donors and volunteers through an easily deployed podcast. Growing reach for awareness with the speed of digital, this is just one more opportunity to get their story told to more people faster. By doing so, we expect this process to further embed the organizations in their communities of service as a result of the simplicity of distribution, the nature of the content and the ease of access to learn more about them.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this episode. Please send me a text...
As the rhythmic thumping of our hearts often goes unnoticed, so does the silent threat of heart disease that looms over us, especially for women. Dr. Reetu Sharma, a driving force behind the Go Red for Women movement, joins the conversation kicking off American Heart Month, to shine a light on the nuances of women's heart health and The American Heart Association. Listen as we talk of cardiovascular conditions, such as strokes and blocked arteries, and explore how atherosclerosis plays a pivotal role in these life-threatening events. The urgency of recognizing and responding to the symptoms of heart attacks and strokes cannot be overstated. With Dr. Sharma's guidance, we decode the BE FAST acronym for stroke awareness and address the atypical heart attack symptoms that often go unnoticed. Our discussion serves as a pressing reminder to trust your instincts and seek immediate care, as every moment counts when it comes to the efficacy of treatment for these cardiovascular emergencies. Finally, Dr. Sharma confronts the stark healthcare disparities faced by women in the realm of cardiology, from misdiagnoses to the gender-specific symptomatology and treatment. This episode not only underscores the importance of tailored medical care for women but also celebrates Dr. Sharma's dedication and contributions to the American Heart Association and all they do for heart care and wellness.
