Episode Description:
Most people think they have a strategy problem. They don’t. They have a coherence problem.
In this episode, I walk through what coherence actually means, and why so many entrepreneurs feel like they’re doing everything right but nothing is stabilizing.
We explore:
• why visibility becomes inconsistent
• why results don’t “hold” even when your work is strong
• the difference between structure and capacity
• why marketing is not performance
• why manifesting is not mysticism
• and how to begin working with the Soul’d Approach
There isn’t one place you’re supposed to start. There’s a pathway.
And depending on where you are right now, a different entry point will feel right.
If you’ve been building something meaningful - especially without a clear path, team, or safety net behind you - this episode will help you understand what’s actually happening beneath the surface.

I'm Christina Giordano, the founder of Sold, your go-to resource for soulful entrepreneurship. And my philosophy is this: people can no longer be sold to, they must be sold to. That is S-O-U-L apostrophe D. But in order to sell with sold, you have to be sold on you first. This is marketing and manifesting with nothing but the essence that is you. This is business that begins within. Today's episode is called Start Here, the Sold Approach. Lately, I've been thinking about how people enter this work. If you've landed here, there's likely already a level of resonance with this work. We speak the same language, or at least close to it. You know your work is meaningful, but traditional marketing strategies feel misaligned. You want visibility, but something within you is holding you back. You feel called to lead from truth rather than persuasion. You are ready to stabilize the success you've worked so hard to create. You want your business to reflect who you actually are, not just what converts. And you trust the work is not about becoming louder. It's about becoming coherent. You're just like me, a business owner who believes that their career calling represents a big part of their sole purpose in this life. And before you decide where to go next, I want to give you a simple way to understand what sold is and how to move through it in a way that actually feels aligned. Because let's be honest, entrepreneurship can be a very lonely and mentally taxing and high-stakes experience, especially when you're building something meaningful, especially when you're doing it without a clear path, without a team, and without a stockpile of resources behind you. Take it from me as a single mom raising two young boys without a partner, without consistent help, and without external income or resources to make things easier for me. I know what it feels like to build something so incredibly aligned that it must be built. You have no other choice. But you also have real life challenges along the way: bills to pay, kids to raise, a home to manage, and responsibilities that require your attention. But you're still showing up anyway. This work, the work of sold, is for people who are doing exactly that. Now, most people don't struggle because they don't have something valuable to offer. They struggle because their expression of it isn't stable yet. This can be due to a variety of reasons. It can be because they are only speaking to the byproducts of their work, not the actual transformation they provide. This is basically a gap in messaging integrity. It can be because there's another gap between how they show up and what they're saying. This is a gap in energetic coherence. It can also be because they are inconsistent with their expression. One day they feel clear, the next day they second guess, they override themselves, or they just disappear. These are just a few of the manifestations of the same root cause. Most people think they have a strategy problem. They don't. They have a coherence problem. A coherence problem that is rooted in misalignment. And what I mean by that is this part of you already knows what you're here to do. Part of you already knows how you want to show up for it. And part of you already knows what feels true. But another part of you is bracing. Another part of you is hooked on to forcing and efforting and trying. Another part of you is overriding what you actually know in order to create results faster or more predictably or more safely. Sometimes you stop moving and sometimes you try harder. But the same loop keeps happening. And it's because your system, the part of you that knows, the part of you that decides, and the part of you that shows up isn't moving as one. It is scattered, doubted, negotiated, fragmented, and fatigued. In essence, it is not aligned. And when you're not aligned, your expression becomes inconsistent. And when your expression becomes inconsistent, your visibility becomes inconsistent. And when visibility becomes inconsistent, results become inconsistent. What you're trying to manifest from your marketing won't happen because the foundation for it to land is not available yet. Yet. Coherence is internal. Strategy is measurable, coherence is felt. Strategy can be copied, but coherence has to be built. So people keep trying to fix something external when what they actually need is internal alignment. Because once alignment stabilizes, something very interesting starts to happen. Your message gets simpler, your decisions get clearer, your visibility becomes easier to sustain, and your business begins responding differently. Not because you found suddenly found the perfect strategy, but because your system finally feels safe enough to hold what you're creating. So if the problem isn't strategy and the problem isn't motivation, and the problem isn't even consistency in the way that most people think about it, then what actually restores coherence? This is where the work inside soul begins to make sense. Because coherence isn't something you force, it's something you stabilize. And there are really two sides to that process. The first side is structure, and the second side is capacity. The structure is what I call the marketing methods, and the capacity is what I call the manifesting methods. You need both because most people are trying to build structure without stabilizing capacity, or they're trying to expand capacity without building structure. So they end up doing one of two things. They either build something they can't sustain, or they become someone who's ready for more, but they don't have a container that can hold it. And both of those experiences are incredibly frustrating. Both of them feel confusing, and both of them create the sense that something just isn't landing. The marketing methods help stabilize your expression. They help you understand what you're actually here to say, how your work is meant to be seen, and how to create visibility that feels natural, not forced. They build the structure that supports your voice. But structure alone isn't enough because even when your message is clear and your direction is clear and your strategy is clear, your system still has to feel safe enough to hold what happens next. That's where the manifesting methods come in. They stabilize the receiver, they help your nervous system adjust to being seen, to being recognized, to being supported, to being paid, to being trusted, to being responded to. They struggle with holding what happens when it starts working. And if that part of you isn't supported, your system will quietly interrupt your own momentum, not on purpose, not because you're doing something wrong, but because it doesn't feel safe yet to hold what you're creating. And when these two things begin working together, structure and capacity, expression and receiving, clarity and stability, something shifts. Your presence becomes recognizable, your message becomes consistent, your decisions become simpler, and your business begins to organize itself around something real, relatable, and rooted within you. Not something performative, not something strategic, something true. And I want to say something here that feels really important because part of the reason this work exists at all is that I genuinely struggled with the way that marketing and manifesting were being taught. Marketing is not performance and manifesting is not mysticism. Most people teach marketing as convince, persuade, overcome objections. What I'm teaching is root your expression in truth and stabilize there so people can recognize you over time. Most people teach manifesting as believe harder and visualize more. What I'm teaching is build the internal and structural capacity to hold what you're asking for. Marketing isn't supposed to be about becoming louder than you are. It isn't supposed to be about constantly optimizing yourself for attention. And it isn't supposed to require you to override your instincts just to stay visible. Marketing, at its core, is expression. It's the process of making what's true inside of you visible enough for other people to recognize it. That's it. And when expression is stable, marketing becomes sustainable. And manifesting isn't about controlling the universe. It isn't about thinking the right thoughts. And it isn't about forcing yourself to feel positive all the time so something will finally work. Manifesting at its core is about capacity. It's about whether your system is supported enough to receive what you're building, whether it's recognition, support, opportunities, money, clients, or even just momentum. Because if your system isn't supported in receiving those things, it doesn't matter how clear your strategy is. Something inside of you will interrupt the process. And this is the place where most people get stuck. They try to fix their strategy when what they actually need is support stabilizing their expression, or they try to fix their mindset when what they actually need is support expanding their capacity. So instead of forcing one side or the other, this work brings both back into alignment: structure and capacity, expression and receiving, marketing and manifesting, working together the way they were always meant to. So your message is rooted in truth. Your expression becomes clear, your visibility becomes consistent, and your business can begin organizing itself around your actual essence. This is what I call business that begins within. And this work tends to resonate with people who know they have depth but feel inconsistent in how they show up. They are no longer interested in forcing growth or performing for results, and they want to build something sustainable, not something that they have to constantly maintain just to keep it alive. Very often, it also resonates with people who have been showing up for something they believe in, even when there hasn't been much feedback yet. People who are still choosing to remain visible, still choosing to remain themselves, and still choosing to build something real. Because part of what's actually happening underneath is something that we've already talked about. Part of you is clear, part of you is bracing, part of you is overriding what you know is is true. And when those parts are not moving together, you can take all the right actions and still feel like nothing holds. So you tried you try harder, you show up more, you say more. But underneath it, your system doesn't feel supported yet in holding what you're creating. This is where everything begins to change. So once people understand this, once they start to recognize that what they're experiencing isn't a strategy problem, and it isn't a motivation problem, and it isn't a consistency problem, the next question that usually comes up is this where do I begin? And the answer is there isn't one single place to begin. There's a pathway. And depending on where you are right now, a different entry point will feel right. Because some people arrive at this work still trying to understand what's happening. They're noticing the inconsistency, they're noticing the friction, they're noticing the gap between what they know they're capable of and what's actually stabilizing in their business. And for those people, the 140-page ebook is usually the best place to begin because it helps you see the full framework. It helps you understand what's actually happening beneath the surface. And it gives you language for something you may have been experiencing for a long time without knowing how to describe it. And then other people arrive at this work already feeling the shift. They don't just want more information. They want clarity, they want to understand what's happening right now in their business, what's misaligned, what's ready to move, and what their next step actually is. And that's usually where the meetup becomes the right place to begin. Because the meetup is where you and I take what you're experiencing and turn it into something tangible. It's a 90-minute conversation with me where we look at where you are, what's currently misaligned, and what wants to stabilize next. And then sometimes people arrive already knowing they're ready for deeper work. They're not looking for an explanation anymore. They're looking for integration, they're looking for support, stabilizing this at the identity level. So they're building something they can actually hold. And that's where the mentorship begins. And then finally, there are people who are ready to feel anchored in the work. And what they're looking for isn't really a starting point, although it could be. The memberships themselves could be starting points if you want to focus on either one method at a time. You could essentially do both memberships because you receive both the self-study program and the monthly calls with me. So this is for like that anchored feeling. It's continuity, it's support staying connected to what they know is true. So that's where the member memberships come in for both the marketing methods and the manifesting methods. They help you remain anchored as your capacity expands. So there isn't one place you're supposed to be in. There's just a next step that will feel clear once you recognize yourself in this work. And if you're here, there's usually a reason. And it's not because someone convinced you, it's because something feels true and something in you is ready to stabilize into that truth. This work isn't about giving you a better strategy. It's about stabilizing the part of you your strategy is built on. The marketing methods builds the structure that supports your expression. The manifesting method stabilizes the part of you that receives what you're building. You need both in order to create the reality you desire. Because remember, you are never meant to hold up success. Success is meant to hold you. You are not the scaffolding, you are the architect. And when you are anchored in a foundation that is steady, your message becomes clear, your expression becomes consistent, and your presence becomes recognizable, and your business begins to respond. And it's not because you're you force your way to success, it's because your success finally has something stable to organize around. You don't need to do everything, you don't need to figure it all out right now, you just need to choose your next aligned step. There's nothing you need to become before you begin. This work is about learning how to remain anchored in who you already are, long enough for your life and your business to begin organizing around that. Because the version of you who can hold what you're asking for already exists. This work just helps you stabilize into that version of you. Begin where you are, your essence already knows the way. And I will see you in your next aligned step. Until then, be well and take care.
