In this week’s episode, I’m sharing the top five ways you may be sabotaging your signal, and why the problem often has nothing to do with strategy, motivation, or effort.

We’ve been conditioned to believe that success comes from intensity: more urgency, more performance, more force, more adrenaline, more noise. But what if reality doesn’t actually respond to theatrics? What if it responds to coherence?

In this episode, we explore:
 • why “spikey effort” creates unstable results
 • how social media and external noise disconnect you from your truth
 • the difference between condition-oriented living and signal-oriented living
 • why coherence compounds over time
 • how structural support changes your ability to receive and sustain expansion
 • why your signal is structural — not emotional
 • the hidden cost of borrowing someone else’s blueprint
 • how reality reorganizes itself around a stabilized signal

I also share the core question I now ask across every domain of my life:
“Is this structurally supportive of my desires both now and later?”

Because the point isn’t to become louder, more persuasive, or more intense. The point is to become coherent enough that your life can finally organize around what’s true.

I'm Christina Giordano, the founder of Sold, your go-to resource for soulful entrepreneurship. And my philosophy is this: people can no longer be sold to, they must be sold to. That is S-O-U-L Apostrophe D. But in order to sell with soul, you have to be sold on yourself first. This is marketing and manifesting with nothing but the essence that is you. This is business that begins within. Today's episode is called Five Ways You Sabotage Your Signal and What Coherence Does Instead. In this week's episode, I'm sharing the top five ways that you sabotage your signal, and they may not be as obvious as you think. Now, my personal perspective is as someone who has stabilized their signal through the sold approach, meaning the marketing methods and the manifesting methods, to the point where I have completed what I call the orientation phase. And now reality is essentially reorganizing in accordance with my signal rather than me reorganizing around reality based on external conditions. This process sounds magical and mystical, but it's not. For those who are new here, this is what the sold approach helps you achieve internal coherence, so that you are signal-oriented rather than condition-oriented. You move based on what's true instead of what's expected of you. Now, this is where life can mirror your stabilized signal back to you. It's where your frequency is steady and clear, and therefore the external environment responds with precise recognition. It's where instead of you chasing down the next pieces, the right opportunities, resources, and synchronicities, they all converge on you. You don't have to strain or force momentum. The structural foundation you already established within the marketing and manifesting methods becomes the vehicle that carries you forward into your expansion. But here's the problem, especially for those of us who have subscribed to the old paradigm of marketing and manifesting and who continue to witness it every day. Media, especially social media, has become a performance arena for people who push chaotic, urgent, adrenaline-based content that might get you moving in a certain way, but it's not your way. It's theirs. It's not true to you, it might be to them. But all it does is push you further from your truth, further from your essence. Sold helps you clarify what's actually true and helps you move on that alone. Now I'll go into more detail as we dive further into this episode, but just know this: there's no shame or judgment here. We are all learning a different, more coherent way to be and to live. If anything, I hope this episode gets you a little closer to your truth, not mine, not somebody else's, yours. So let's dive into the five ways you could sabotage your signal, especially during the orientation phase. Now, if you want a glimpse of the soul trajectory, you can head to my website and go to the get guidance page where you will find information on the mentorship. Now, the mentorship is one of the main offerings that I have that actually takes you through the soul trajectory so that you end up in the orientation phase. All right, here are the five ways. Number one, the universe doesn't respond to your theatrics, it responds to your coherence. All of the performances that you see on Instagram, from the overly material to the overly mystical, these are again designed to draw you in. Consuming content for the purposes of education or entertainment is all well and good. As long as you are discerning, if you're consuming content in order to discover truth, whether it's for yourself or for the collective, you're looking in the wrong place. Theatrics are chaotic, confusing, and entirely unnecessary. Coherence, on the other hand, is a quiet power. It's when your thoughts, words, and actions point in the same direction, the exact same direction, without blinking. So the goal isn't to shock the system into giving you what you want. The goal is to show up with an organized, steady signal instead. Number two, AI is not wrong as long as you keep it in its role to amplify your signal. So right now, people are either outsourcing their entire mind to AI or they're becoming terrified of it. First of all, stop being afraid of everything. Your nervous system will thank you for that. And I say that with love. Instead, let yourself experience what works for you. Again, instead of following the noise, become your own truth radar and give it a go yourself. In my opinion, that I've elaborated in much of my content, you are the source. If you let AI write your soul, your signal becomes a generic echo of the internet's average. And I myself share how I use my AI in previous episodes. But the point of it is you need to find out what works for you, what amplifies you. Because AI isn't the enemy, but nor is it your savior. It is a megaphone. If you feed it a muddled, insecure, or copycat thought, it will simply blast that weak signal at a 10 times volume. Your job is to anchor the truth, the strategy, and the human essence. AI doesn't have an essence, you do. Let AI do what it was built for to scale and amplify the expression of your essence, not invent it for you. Number three, your success is not dependent on your next adrenaline spike. We have become so incredibly addicted to urgency. We mistake anxiety for passion and chaos for movement, and an adrenaline crash for a hard day's work. You don't need a crisis or a hard deadline or a sudden burst of panic in order to create results. Adrenaline-fueled execution is inherently unstable. It quite literally burns out the transmitter. Spiky effort creates spiky results. So enough with the spikes already. Real sustainable success is built on the mundane, beautiful rhythm of steady execution. When you trade the adrenaline spikes for consistent calm momentum, your signal becomes a permanent fixture instead of a passing flare in the night. Number four, anything that isn't your own truth is incorrect for you. It doesn't matter if a strategy worked for a billionaire, a guru, or your competitor down the street, if it forces you to twist your values, speak in a voice that isn't yours, or wear a persona that feels like a costume, it's incorrect. Reality doesn't respond to your masquerade. It responds to your realness. It responds to your authenticity, to your consistent, steady movement toward what is true. Borrowing someone else's blueprint introduces massive static into your line, and people can sense the incongruence instantly. You cannot build a bulletproof life or a sustainable business on a foundation of rented truths. If it doesn't resonate with your core architecture, you must reject it. Your truth is your only competitive advantage. Number five, you don't need to get excited or shift your frequency. This one is one of my favorites. Actually, it probably is my favorite. How much time have you wasted trying to force yourself into a good mood so that you can create or trying to get excited for whatever results you're wishing for so that you can manifest them? The spiritual and self-help industries love to tell you to shift your vibration or fake a state of hyper enthusiasm. That is a trap. Emotions are like the weather, they change hourly. If your signal depends on you feeling ecstatic, it's incredibly fragile. Your signal is structural, not emotional. It is the deep baseline reality of who you are, what you stand for, and the value you provide. You don't need to pump yourself up or feel bubbly to be powerful. Your forced excitement is fleeting. Lean in to the heavy, grounded structure of your truth. The frequency is already there. You just have to stop overriding it. The sold approach helps you do exactly that. Discover what's true and then stabilize there. Part two, why coherence compounds. So now that we've talked about why we don't want to destabilize and dilute your signal, let's talk about how and why coherence compounds. Because while it is important that the expression of your essence is coherent, it will be helpful to understand the mechanics of internal coherence and its true power in reality. So coherence compounds because of a fundamental law of energy, a stabilized signal stops leaking power. When you are in a state of coherence, your thoughts, daily rhythms, environment, and internal truth are all completely aligned and moving in the exact same direction. Instead of your energy being scattered or canceled out by internal friction, every single choice you make begins to reinforce and multiply the strength of the previous one. So here's exactly how and why this compounding effect takes place. First, you eliminate destructive interference. In physics, when two waves are out of alignment, they create something called destructive interference, which means that they clash and then flatten each other out. When you live in a fractured state, such as doing one thing while feeling another, you leak massive amounts of energy just trying to manage that internal friction. But when you shift into coherence, that friction vanishes. Your energy switches to constructive interference where the waves align perfectly. The peaks match the peaks. And the signal doesn't just get a little stronger, it grows exponentially. Second, you create a powerful feedback loop that is unlike the ones you're used to. So when you're living in a condition-oriented frame of reference, you're essentially reacting to what is happening around you. Meaning the feedback loop you were involved in started from something external happening. So think about it. You're walking down the street and all of a sudden you get a text, and now you're flailing because the text was bad news and you don't know what to do about it, and da-da-da-da-da. That is a typical feedback loop of your reaction. It started from something external and therefore you reacted to it. Coherence creates a different type of food feedback loop between you and your environment. It starts with your stabilized signal. You make a decision that is clear and rooted in that signal. Life responds accordingly, and that deepens your core certainty even more. That's the new loop, and it's drastically different from the old one. So let's look at that example again. You're walking down the street and you get a text. Maybe you don't actually look at it because you've decided that when you're walking on your walks, you don't want to be looking at your phone. Or maybe you do look at it, but you're like, hmm, I'll check out that later. It's these little micro decisions that change the trajectory of not only how you feel, but again, how you respond. And again, depending on how you even start your day, let's say you're walking down that street in the first instance, because you're condition-oriented, you're reactive all morning, you're rushing, you're urgent, you're responding to chaos essentially. It's a chaotic environment. But think of the state of mind that you would have if your morning was a little different, if it was signal-oriented. You would be moving differently as you receive that text. You would be thinking differently, you would be feeling differently. Perhaps you started that morning with a meditation and breath work when you got out of bed. Perhaps it was a slower one. You've established a structure or rhythm or a routine that allows you to maintain coherence. And so you make a decision that is clear and rooted in your actual signal, in who you are, not in who you're expected to be, and life responds accordingly. So you could probably feel the difference just by my own explanation of it. Now, third, you move with less effort, but with more velocity. Notice that I didn't say the word speed. So recall back to eighth grade physics, where we learned that speed is simply how fast an object is moving, while velocity is how fast it is moving in a specific direction. And direction is everything here. If you've been following along and listening in for a while, you know this. When you first begin anchoring a new foundation, it requires conscious focus and deliberate practice to hold the orientation in the direction of what's true. You're essentially becoming less reactive, less condition-oriented to the external world around you and reigning in your attention, your focus, your power so that you could be more signal-oriented. So, again, that requires a fair amount of conscious focus and deliberate practice. But as coherence compounds, the alignment becomes your default baseline. You no longer have to expend energy trying to be coherent because the structure you've built into your daily rhythms begins to carry you forward anyway. So the structure you've built to make it easy for yourself to stay within your signal carries you. Again, it becomes the vehicle that carries you forward. As you can see, coherence is the mechanism that most people miss. We are so deeply conditioned to believe that to get bigger results, we have to do more scream louder or take massive dramatic leaps. But in a framework of signal stability, which is what sold is, those frantic movements are actually symptoms of a signal that is fluctuating. When you are oriented in the direction of your true desire, the work is about precision. Moving with precision in the direction of your purpose. I'm going to give you another example. Think of a ship's rudder. If a ship shifts its orientation by just one degree and holds that exact line across a vast ocean, it lands in a completely different continent than it originally would have. You don't need to push the ship faster. You don't need to panic about the direction. You just need to hold the rudder steady. The compounding does the work. The magic isn't in the size of the initial pivot. It is in the unshakable continuation of that direction over time. So for us, that means that every single time you make a choice that reflects your true desire, no matter how small or quiet that choice feels, you are tightening the alignment of your signal. When you refuse to bend, compromise, or double back on your truth just because the external world hasn't cut up yet, you are building immense energetic density. You become a fixed point. And because you aren't wasting energy swinging from one extreme to another, your capacity remains totally clear. So, no, you don't need theatrics, you don't need to disavow AI or let it run you. You don't need an adrenaline spike or an episode of frantic excitement, and you certainly don't need to search for your truth outside of you. You just need to let your signal emerge, express it clearly, and stabilize there. Refuse to dilute it so that you don't sabotage it and that let and then let reality reorganize itself around you. Part three, the question I keep asking to ensure coherence compounds. The question I keep asking myself to ensure that coherence compounds is it's double-sided. It's the twin pillars of my entire framework, and it reflects both the marketing methods and the manifesting methods or expression and containment. So on the expression side, I ask, is this truly what I desire? This question ensures alignment with my essence. It determines the direction you're pointing the ship. Desire is your internal compass. It tells you where your life wants to expand next. On the containment side, I ask, is this structurally supportive? The question ensures stability of my essence. Once desire gives you the direction, structural support determines your capacity to hold it. It looks at the logistics, the pacing, your energy, your finances, and your nervous system. If you only ask, what is structurally supportive without checking your desire, you end up in building highly efficient, perfectly stable cages. You build things that function beautifully on paper, but feel completely dead to your soul. If you only ask, what do I desire without honoring structural support, you end up in chaos. You make big erratic swings that blow up your peace, drain your energy, and cause your signal to fluctuate wildly because you're suddenly in survival mode. So put together, the question then becomes: is this structurally supportive of my desires both now and later? So when you ask this, you are no longer viewing structure and desire as separate steps. You are recognizing that structure is the vehicle for your desires. Let's talk about why that is. First, it protects your future capacity. Most people make decisions based only on what feels good in the immediate moment. I've been there, done that. And it often leaves a mess for their future self to clean up. By filtering what is structurally supportive of my desires, both now and later, you are honoring your current human capacity while simultaneously laying down a clean, uncompromised track for your future expansion. So it essentially stops you from borrowing against tomorrow's peace to pay for today's impulse. Second, it redefines sacrifice as alignment. When you turn down an opportunity or set a firm boundary using this filter, it doesn't feel like a restrictive punitive no. It feels like an empowered architectural decision. You aren't denying yourself. You are simply refusing to build something that will ultimately dilute your signal. You are saying, this might look good on the surface right now, but it doesn't support the weight of where I am going. So it doesn't get to live in my matrix. Third, it welcomes true convergence. This is exactly how you hold the rudder steady. Every time you choose what is structurally supportive of your desires later, you inject immense clarity into your current baseline. You are actively proving to yourself and to the field that you trust your timeline. You don't need to grab at things out of scarcity or fear of missing out. You can sit back in your spaciousness, move slowly, and trust that because your choices are structurally supportive of your desires, the correct pieces are already organizing themselves to meet you. Part four. When coherence compounds, it creates convergence. To understand why life converges with coherence, we have to look past the idea of luck or magic and look at how reality actually re actually organizes itself. Life doesn't respond to your wishes or to your hard work. As we've established here, it responds to your coherence. When your thoughts, desires, daily rhythms, and physical environment are all synchronized and pointing in the same direction, you become an unshakable dense signal. So here's the exact mechanics of why the universe has no choice. But to recognize and meet that state. We're gonna do another little physics, a little back to physics um explanation for this, and it's fascinating. So in physics, there's a phenomenon called entrainment. If you place a room full of grandfather clocks together, all ticking at completely different chaotic rhythms, something really interesting happens over time. The largest, most stable clock will gradually pull all of the smaller, weaker clocks into its exact rhythm. Eventually, they all tick in perfect unison. When you are incoherent, like fluctuating, doubting, changing your mind out of fear, you are easily entrained by the chaos of the external world. But when your signal is stabilized, you become the dominant clock in the room. The external world, people, opportunities, and resources literally begins to shift and entrain to your rhythm. The point of all of this is this: life doesn't bring you what you want, it brings you what you can structurally hold. So the point isn't to become louder. It isn't to become more impressive, more emotional, more persuasive, or more intense. The point is to become coherent enough that your life can finally organize around what's true. Because reality cannot accurately respond to a signal that keeps fluctuating. But when your desire, your structure, your decisions, your rhythms, and your direction all stabilize into the same orientation, something changes. You stop chasing life, and life begins converging on you. Not because you forced it, but because you became structurally capable of holding it. I hope this episode supported you. Until next time, be well and take care.
