The early church lived in a deeply supernatural world.

Spirits. Sorcery. Miracles. Strange encounters. Spiritual oppression.

And somehow… they weren’t afraid.

In this episode of Sasquatch & Sourdough, we explore the supernatural world through the lens of the Book of Acts, thin spaces, spiritual atmosphere, worship, discernment, and the presence of God.

From the mysterious Green Children of Woolpit to wilderness encounters where forests suddenly fall silent… from ancient Christian ideas of “thin places”  — this episode asks a deeper question:

What kind of spiritual atmosphere are we cultivating?

Because not every supernatural obsession leads toward life.

Some people spend years endlessly consuming paranormal content, UFO theories, hidden knowledge, and fear-driven speculation… always searching for the next supernatural high.

Always scrolling.

Always anticipating.

But never resting.

And over time, that produces something too:

Fear disguised as discernment.

Maybe believers were never meant to become consumed by darkness.

Maybe we were meant to carry the presence of God into it.

This episode explores:
 🌿 spiritual authority
 🌿 Acts & Colossians
 🌿 supernatural encounters
🌿 thin spaces & sacred atmosphere
 🌿 worship changing environments
 🌿 fear vs presence
 🌿 discernment
 🌿 the Holy Spirit
 🌿 the Garden of Eden
🌿 returning to closeness with God

Because the greatest supernatural mystery was never hidden knowledge.

It was Jesus.

  • Colossians 1:19
“For in Him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.”

The supernatural world is real.

But fear was never meant to become the center of the Christian life.

🌲 ABOUT — Sasquatch & Sourdough

Sasquatch & Sourdough is a storytelling podcast exploring high strangeness, folklore, history, paranormal encounters, and the unexplained—through faith, Scripture, and discernment.

This show exists for the stories that don’t fit neatly into the world we were told was real. Rather than sensationalizing mystery or chasing fear, episodes slow down and examine the strange thoughtfully, offering historical context, spiritual grounding, and encouragement.

We believe the unseen world is real—but not ungoverned.
That curiosity doesn’t have to lead to chaos.
And that God is present, even in the most unexpected places.

Episodes blend real encounter stories, folklore, biblical worldview, and reflective conversation to help listeners feel oriented rather than unsettled. This is weirdly encouraging content for curious minds, faithful hearts, and anyone who has ever sensed the world is bigger than they could ever imagine.
