And with me tests. Let's dive and do it. Hey, everyone. This is Tess. We just had some horrific storms this morning here. A lot of trees down. A lot of electricity out. Thank God. We have electricity here. To do the podcast and record it. And it's just, you know, like one of those typical. Full moon days. And, um, It's just so crazy here. Now you look outside, it's sunny and bright and hot. Rainbows. Fucking rainbows. I was going to say that, but I said, I don't anyway. So with your job, do you have any full moon? Stories from one of your patients or anything. Oh boy. What's up. Y'all it's April. Uh, I work in healthcare. So you already know how this is going to go. I draw blood. That's all I do. And, I was on like my fourth. Nursing home of the day. And I walk into a patient's room and. Her and this nurse are just going at it and I'm like, oh God, why. Why. The nurse is trying to get this lady to put her hearing aids in, to tell her about an upcoming appointment. She's motioning to her, like 22, her you're saying put in your, your hearing aids put in your hearing aids. And the lady looks at her and goes. I'm not that deaf. Just speak to me. And the woman's like, I'm not yelling at you to tell you about this. Just put in your damn hearing aid. This woman gets so pissed off. She looks this nurse Devon arrives and goes, fuck you. I said, oh, Goddamn granny piped down a little bit. So. The nurse just keeps coming out with, put in your hearing aid, put it in. So I can tell you about your appointment late. He's like why. I appointment and the nurse is like, I'm not telling you. Until you put in your hearing aid. And I'm not yelling at you. And she's motioning to her ear for the hearing aid. The woman looks her dead in her eyes and goes. Take my hearing aid and shove it up your ass. I'll send our stuff. I'll be back. I'm going to go, I'm going to go deal with a couple of the patients and I'll come back in a little bit when this is over with. I go. So a couple of other people and I come back and I'm like, dear Lord, please. I'm walking and she's laying down. She looks so peaceful. So peaceful. Those are the ones you got to watch for. I bend down nice and close to her ear and I'm basically screaming. Good morning. I'm here for her. Yelling. She likes me. She has what. Oh much. Yeah. And inner ear again. And she goes, oh, okay. Slammed her arm down. I'm like, oh dear God. She sits up a little bit. She goes, what time is it? And I'm like, I don't. No. She looked at her a little alarm off and she goes seven o'clock. What are you doing here at seven o'clock? I said. Again, screaming in her ear. No. I started at 4:00 AM and that this is not early. And she goes, well, that's not what I said to you. I said, why are you here at this time? And I said, because I need to be. Am I sticking you or am I not? Again, still screaming. And wake up her roommate. So she's letting me look at her and she keeps rolling her arm. I. I put it back. She rolls it over, put it back. She rolls it over. I'm getting frustrated at this point. Find a good vein and holding their hand basically between my knees. I uncut my needle. I get ready to second chance. Can't we just do this tomorrow and I was like, kind of a bitch. I was like, this is going to take me 30 seconds. I have a vein I'm ready to stick. Just let me do what she has. That's not what I said to you. I said, am I sticking him or not? And she was like, well, can't we just do it tomorrow. Either I do it now. I'll be back here. Nice, bright and early at 4:00 AM. And she was like, Well, we'll just do it. Mumbling. I got so pissed off, I snapped off the tourniquet. You already have. Just to, I said, Nope, I'm not fucking fighting with you. No more. And put all my stuff away and I went, I hope you have a beautiful day and I hope. Your day gets better. She looks at me. She goes. As we would say from New York up yours. And I said, you two walked out the door and slammed it. Ah, 80 85 year old lady. I was like, I swear to God. And they're tough. They're tough and rain. I like I told you before, I could never do your job driving around, taking people's blood. Going to the different nursing homes at 4:00 AM and then having to deal with something like that. I have to say the homes that I go to regularly are not that bad. It's just the homes in the state across that we go to. Oh, okay. That's where it gets bad. And I hate going over there. And like there's a few homes here and there that are bad. Like. I've heard it. You know, I've been hit, I've been slapped and then the whole nine, but. That woman. She was a first for me today. Oh my God. It took everything in me to not like. Curse her out and then throat punch her. That bed. I promise I'm nice to all of my patients, but like her, like I was just at my breaking point. Oh yeah. I'm sure. Because, you know, first of all, a lot of it would have been alleviated if she would've just put in a damn hearing aid. All of it. I'm not doctor bullshit. You're a deafer than anything. Um, over what my mouth basically pressed against your ear. Yep. At you? Yeah. That's a little death. Like I just. I don't know, it was just, it was a day. It was a morning. It was a morning by seven in the morning. Yeah. And then by nine o'clock we had that horrific storm that, oh my God. I was driving. I know NAISA was behind me and there was a bad, I was telling you, there was that bad accident on postal. So I drove by and I called her, I'm like, yo, turn around. I said, you are not getting through. And she was like, yeah. And they just came and told us. So we're. Driving. All of a sudden the clouds just let loose. I know I was taking a Landon to school. And it's like, I have your two. Little ones. And then I have Landon who's eight. And then I was just like, what am I going to do? Like, I can't get all three of these kids in. I know coats for the little one. I didn't have a coat. The umbrella was in the car. Of course, of course. Cause I wasn't thinking about it. I thought the storm went through. Through during the night. And that's what I thought, because when I woke up, it was all wet. I was like, all right. And it was humid. I was like, damn, it must have ran. And I was fine. No coat in my car at all. Nothing. Right. So anyhow, so during the down. Downpour. I take a towel, put it over me, run to the car, go in the back. Could stand on the that hatch. And I get the umbrella. I go in the house and I'm taking kids out one at a time, put the little one in so I could buckle her up. Took the next. Little one. Um, Ronan and I'm like trying to buckle him and hold the thing. And I couldn't, so I'm like groaning here. Hold the. As I'm trying to put him in, so I don't get soaking wet. And then I bring Landon out. And put him in the car. It was, it was just a crazy, crazy morning. Definitely talked to him before. Oh, yup. And that's what we're talking about today. The full moon. And. Though. Waning gibbous moon. It's the next two phases that we're talking about. Ah, so April, do you want to tell us about. The full moon. Yeah. All right. So basically it is a time when the whole face of the moon. As a woman aided. And visible from earth. And we are seeing it stay side. Remember the moon has a day lights. Half and a night flash, dark side, half. I actually yesterday. The moon was up, like during the day. So I actually saw that. Um, it occurs when the moon is directly. Opposite the sun and its orbit around the earth. It rises in the east at sunset and goes to the highest point around midnight. Then it sets in the west that sun rise. There's not an eclipse, every full moon, because the moon's orbit is tilted by 5.1 degrees and respect the earth orbit. The shadow was close to the moon, but not enough to cause an eclipse. The meaning it lets us sit in the fullness of your life, let the light of the full moon amplify. What is working for you? And let you be intentional in the ways that you move forward in your life. There was a spiritual connection between the full moon, the tides and emotions. And that's where you get, you know, you get some of the craziness, like when they use. Well, yeah, like that lady. But like you used to have, um, the state hospitals and they always would say the state hospitals would be crazy at full moon. Oh, yeah. You ask anybody. Who's. The ERs, uh, police firefighter, you know, because your fiance's a firefighter. All the craziness that goes through. You know, just. Goes on during a full moon is crazy. My one nursing home was all psych, nothing but psych. Oh. That must be crazy. I hate walking in there after a full moon, because they're all just pacing and hunt. Jesus Christ. I got to chase them down. Ah, man got a little bit. All right. What it's best for in symbolizing? It symbolizes a time of release and completion. Heightened emotions increased intuition. And deep spiritual awareness or insight. It is the most striking and potent of the moon phases. It is linked to our defined feminine energy and is associated with the end of cycles, relationships and habits. This is probably not the time to have heated emotional talks with a significant other, because. It's going to go downhill real quick and ain't going to go the way you want it to go. I know. But, you know what. Even though we say that it's like, sometimes it's just like, And you don't met and you don't even realize it's a full moon. Oh, yeah. Um, for practicing like self care as a full. Paul's on the tides. I can pull on our emotions big time. It was a good time to work on some self care. I can meditate. It will calm the effects of the highly emotional full moon. If you're busy, make sure you schedule in time. Time to meditate. It is a highly, highly emotional time. And often feels like a roller confirm emotions. Take some time and be compassion. Passionate with yourself. Take that time. Just do that. Breath work you that meditating. I put on some meditation music to help you because. Especially women. Sorry, I'm going to say it. We're fucking nuts. And we need all the columnists we can get. Especially if there's kids and husbands and fiances involved. Yep. All right. Then some. Crystals. Is a zebra Jasper. It heeds what you see and highlights the aspects of your life, where balance needs. To be addressed. Uh, rainbow moonstone embrace the fluid and like feminine energy and trust your intuition. To allow time for emotional changes in your life. To be brought to you. And then. Then angel eight. It's to help with trusting the guidance you were given and to remain calm and seek serenity and just peace. I feel like you can all use a little bit of those. Yeah. For sure. Yes. And you know, these stones really do work. Um, I when I first was starting to do some work with stones, which was probably maybe about three years ago when I really got into crystals. I had, severe back, lower back pain. Amen. And a friend of mine had given me a, petrified wood. Stone. That is supposed to take away pain and you. All that kind of stuff, Kathy. Yeah, Kathy gave it to me. So then, um, I had. I put it on the bed. Put it under my back and fell asleep. Woke up the next morning with no pain. No pain at all. And I go into work and I go to her. I'm like, oh my God, I use this. Stone. And it actually took my back pain away. And I actually slept with it in the bed for a while. You know, and then like one night it must've fallen off or whatever, and that back pain returned. You know, so Stone's really do work. Really. I really do work. They really, whatever vibration they're on the health of the different things. They really, they vibrate enough. To do what they say that they do. Yeah. Um, some sense or like essential oils for the full moon. Lemon grass. Uh, it's powerful, energetic, and like cleansing ability. It helps us to get rid of things. We don't need like old beliefs or toxic energies. And negativity that could really be holding us back. I think we all could use some lemon grass. What was I doing that I had lemon grasp. Was I making. Oh, those bath bombs. I'm making bath bombs. That's why the shower, Steamers. Yeah. Um, Frankincense. Is used for purification and medic. Taishan protection and spiritual understanding. And invites us to get rid of the lower vibes and only allow like higher positive vibes in. And then Sage. So you. Just good for cleansing yourself, your space, your tools, before you put them in the window sill to charge them so on a full moon. That is what we forgot on the crystals. A full moon is the best time to charge your crystals. So like take the Sage cleanse all. Of them. And then place them on the window sill or, or outside. I wouldn't say are outside or anywhere and let them sit in that Moonlight so they can recharge and they have a higher energy and they'll also have a higher. Vibration higher energy pool. And the work more efficient. Yeah. And you should really do that once a month with all your crystals, which I am so lax at doing. I have to do that. I always forget. To do it. My crystals are Mia, so well, you just have to go in your kids' rooms and just dig them all out. Because that's where they are. Yeah. Some good rituals to do. Is,, charge your spiritual tools. First cleanse on would Sage. Like the Sage stick or the incense. And waft the smoke over and around your crystals and yourself. It's really sunny, stagnant, negative, toxic energy. And any earthbound attachment. But when you do this, After you cleanse your crystals, cleanse your house too, while you're at it. He'd say something like I release all that no longer serves me for my highest good. Or anything that feels comfortable to you or comes to mind as you're cleansing everything. Yeah, there's no right or wrong way to do this. No, not at all. After the cleansing is done. Take your tools, crystals, or anything you use to a window that will get the full Moonlight. Don't worry if it's a cloudy night. And you can't see the full moon it's still there and it will still charge the items. Set your intention for these. Tools. If you're charging a crystal, that you have a specific intention for state that intention. And add, I welcome the power and light of the full moon to empower this item. And open all of my gifts for my highest good. And put it in the Moonlight. You can also, I'm sure you can look up and find more things. That you can say for your like cleansing ritual and stuff like that, nothing is right or wrong. Just make sure you're not in a negative mindset, because if you're in a negative state, Everything is going to be negative. And your next couple of days. The next full moon are going to be very negative. Yeah, you have, you know, we can't stress it enough. You always have to be positive. I know, like I said once before and one of the other. Episodes I sounded like a lunatic constantly saying be positive, be positive, be positive. But it's so true, so true to be positive. So. Then for some like journal prompting. Gather up your pants, your notebook journal, whatever you use. Sit in the lay, the full moon it's called moon bathing. Open yourself up spiritually and. Feel how your whole being comes alive, just sitting in the moon. Once you're done with your moon bathing sit where there's some light to see. Start writing or drawing any emotions that you felt, any sensations you experience? or anything that popped into your head? Right. What you're grateful for and let your free hand just write down anything that comes to mind. No matter how big or how small. Just let it flow. And don't. Don't force it. If you only get a word or two that's okay. If you get a whole paragraph, that's great. Another page, right? Your intentions. Go through the areas in your life. As they pop into your head. And write a simple intention. It's a commitment to action or attention to these parts of your life. The full moon will act as a catalyst. To draw these intentions to life in you. It sounds like a lot. But once you're, you're basically meditating in the Moonlight. And once things just start flowing to you that you normally wouldn't a hundred percent think of. Write that down, even if, when you're sitting there and you have your notebook and your pen with you. Just do it that and just write it all down then. So you don't miss anything. Yeah. And you know, it's, it's hard in the beginning when you start doing that, like meditating and I'm writing it down. Oh, yeah. I still struggle with it at times, and, but I'm not the greatest journal or. If that's a word. And, I really want to do more of that new moon bathing. Yeah, I really. I get a lot of power from the moon. I can feel it the minute I go outside, I can just feel it like I'm weighing. Your sister. My middle daughter was in a car accident. It was a really bright moon out. I don't think it was a full moan. I forget which one it was. Um, but we got the call lights. At 1230 at night and I walk outside and, you know, a mall, a panic I'm waiting for. Are my oldest daughter to come out, to drive to the hospital. And I looked up at the moon and all of a sudden, I just got this calmness that went from head to toe. That she was going to be all right. Everything was going to be good and don't sit there and panic. And it was just. It was like a waves. I went from my head all the way down to my feet. Now we'll never forget that. And that's what the moon did for me and just relaxed me. Yeah, totally. It's so crazy how much chaos the full moon brings. Yeah. How much in calmness it brings at the same time. Yeah. It's all in. It's all in your intention. It's all in your mindset. Yeah. And do you know. I know it wasn't just a moon. I know it was probably my guardian angel to helping to calm me down that everything was going to be okay. But it didn't happen until I looked at that moon. Yeah. And, the moon has, has a lot of pool. On your emotions. Okay. Then we're going to go to the next phase. Which is the waning gibbous moon. we need means that the moon is getting smaller. Smaller. you will see more than half of the moon. But the visible portion of the moon is decreasing. Give us means oval to round shape of the moon. The full moon is in the sky for a short time. It starts to wane right away. Even though it's still looks full. It's not. It's waning already in the Northern hemisphere. The left side is lit up. During the waning phase and in the Southern hemisphere. It's the opposite. It starts right after the full moon. And last until the third quarter moon. About seven days. It raises later at night than the full moon, mid autumn. It looks higher. Which is November for the Northern hemisphere. The earth and may for the Southern hemisphere. The waning gibbous moon cannot be seen during sunset. It. Rises approximately around nine at night, appears highest around 3:00 AM and sets at 9:00 AM. The meaning of it. The waning, give us spoon is for release reflection. Gratitude. It is a time to show. State your gratitude and reflection on your journey so far. It's a time to release and let go of my, what? I might be holding you back. The waning gibbous moon has positive energy to it. No negativity. You could discover sever abilities that were dormant. I feel like definitely it's a good place to go after the full moon because your. Basically cleansing everything you're starting fresh. And then just start looking in and. Having more gratitude for things starting new things. It's. A new cycle. Well, it's not quite a new cycle yet. It, the new cycle starts new moon, but this part of the moon is where you're giving gratitude because you're coming around from the new moon to the full moon. And then you're going to start going to back. Up to the, to the new moon again. So like, you want to give the gratitude of what has transpired in that month. Like we're not talking about years or the whole year. We were just talking in that month cycle that you're giving gratitude. From the new moon to the full moon so far, and for it to finish up. Do you go back to the new start of the new moon? Yeah. What it's best. Best for. Um, it can be a warning sign about a habit. Or a lifestyle that can cause damage to your shakra. It's time for self evaluation. To evaluate your past decisions and action. Your wins and your losses. It's just good for reflecting. Just like I said, what what's been going on so far in the month. It's a good time that if I don't. If anybody is looked on, um, Is on Tik TOK, but that's shadow. Work journal. It'd be a good time to like work on that a little bit. Oh, yeah. We're doing any kind of shadow work during this time during this, I answer the whole. The whole moon phase, like you could take a month or, or pick a few months. And work on shadow work, whatever, whatever you need to work on to get you to your next level. Um, you can work. On that you can work on child traumas. Cheer. Which usually takes a few, a few full moon. The cycles. To work through. But, um, nobody knows what shadow work is. We can touch on that. And another episode and go into all of that. Yeah, shadow work is just working on stuff that holds you back. Things that you might not. Even no. Or only you back. Well, yeah. And, it might be things that you don't even know about. Like you really have to work through it through meditation and through meditation. It'll give you a. Inkling of what's going on and then you can work on it. And, and there's different practices to do. we will definitely do a. Episode on that. I can bring the, because I bought the book off a tech talk. Oh, okay. That's good. Yeah, we can go through it and read, read a little bit of what's in there. Read. Read a little bit. Because I've already started writing in it. Oh, did you. Self care practices. And this is going to be hard for some people, but let go of bad habits. And negative thoughts and actions. When you hold onto the negative. It will influence your thoughts and actions. Listen to people you can learn from their different perspectives. Like I always say somebody can. Say. One thing, you might not agree with it, but it's their perspective, but you can listen to them. And it could help you maybe in your own life. It might not be. Perfect thing, but you might get bits and pieces from their perspective. It can awaken your spiritual consciousness and bring spiritual enlightenment to you. Looking inward and using positive affirmation. Patients to reach all your goals. Well, Why haven't we been saying that. Well, changing your mindset can lead to a particular ending to a season of your life. Aye. 100% believe. Your words, carry length. Yes. A hundred percent. And all my friends look at me like I'm crazy. Because there was like, I hope this, or I hope that, and I'm like, no. You know, it's gonna go this way, say that it's going to work. It will work. I'm going to do a whole episode on positive affirmations. I have an entire book. Red tin. I wrote down. So many affirmations for, for money for. Growing in life for. Setting intentions. Positive affirmations or the easiest way. To get what you want. You're welcome. Cause I told you that for how many years? I have rolled my eyes. I was going to say, don't roll your eyes at me. But I mean, it is. And like some people have problems starting out doing the affirmations, so that's why we're going to do a whole episode and give you some. Some ideas starters, some star. Yeah. I am ideas for like different things for money for helping you, um, It's for self. Just self. Help. Yeah. I used to write five affirmation. That's how I have a, basically a whole book now. I used to sit in the parking lot of my old job. And before I'd go and I'd write five affirmations out. Cause writing them saying them, seeing them anything. Works. Right. And even though. We're saying them, you can write them down. And it will be good. Yeah. You know, you can replay it. You can go. Back and forth and get, you know, some of them and maybe they'll just. Give you some inklings and you can write your own. Yeah. And eventually you will be writing your own because everything you want to do is different than what. We want, we want. Okay. So now the crystals for the waning gibbous moon. Are clear court. Courts. Amethyst. Black obsidian, black tourmaline. And Pedalyte. Clear courts. Oh my God. If you're going to buy one stone by a clear courts. It is the master healer. It's one of the most powerful healing stones. It's. It's great for purifying your space. Removing unwanted energy. During a waning gibbous moon place. Court's in the corners. Of your home. To create a peer furcation grid. Inviting a fresh, clean energy. Into your space. You can do this on the four corners of your property also. Also. Um, you can just go through and do it. You know, four corners of your house down on your, living level and be done with it, but you could also. To take it as far as doing it into your bedroom. Do we need in your kids' bedrooms? You know, just putting it in the four corners, you can put them on the floor unless you have little kids and I would put them up higher. Um, you can hang them from the ceiling. You know, a little bags or, you know, anything like that. Amethyst is a stone that can transform a stressful home into a calm home. We've got a lot of that. You got a lot of that in their rooms? Yup. Yup. I have a lot here too. It brings the energy of peace and tranquility where you can relax and rejuvenate. Placing amethyst around a meditation space. We'll give a boost of calm. And tranquility. You know, I just got all over all these crystals onto. On to her crystal holder that you made her, and it's mainly all amethyst. Okay. I wonder if that's why I'm fucking so tired every day that I go home and I fucking pass out on the couch. And I literally put them up over the weekend every day. This week I've come home and I've fallen asleep. Calm and not. I, I guess. Cause that's all Raleigh really has of like that tumbled stuff that we got from cobble Creek. It's. Mainly amethyst, uh, pink courts, clear coat courts, and, um, The black tourmaline. Okay. Or black up city in either one of those. Yeah, you can never tell the difference. But, oh my gosh, maybe that's it because I just displayed all of them. It could, it could. Other than you're like burning the candle at both ends. With your life right now. Not too. But no, the amethyst, because it's, it's calming you, you know? Cause you're a little hyper, a little, wow. I was being nice. And plus we have a lot of lavender cooking in the house too. Well, yeah. You know what? That would be. Um sense because when I was over there watching your kids today, I passed out for two hours. is that just that comfortable? I don't know, but I woke up and I mean, Raleigh was taking a nap and Ronin was next to me. On his iPad. His iPad. And you know, every time he talked or said something to me, like jumped up. Yeah. I acknowledged him and stuff, but man, I passed out and I was like, wow, I wasn't even, I didn't even feel tired. So, I don't know. There's something in that couch. Maybe there's. Maybe there's some amethyst in the couch somewhere. Honestly with my children, maybe. Yeah, probably. Maybe just like, you know, Raleigh was behind the couch sleeping and we thought she was in her room that day. God. No in her. She probably took some of her amethyst and put it under probably. So then, uh, black obsidian. It is for protective energy. It can form a shield against negativity and. And absorb negative energies. It also brings emotional imbalance to the surface to help you release them. And that's kind of what shadow work. So when you're going to start doing shadow. That'll work. It's good to have block black up city in there with you. Black tourmaline it wards off all kinds of energies. It helps the person ground. And be stable. It's also another protection stone. That works really well. black tourmaline. I have used on property. Grids. And have told people to use it on their property when they feel like there's negative energies on their property. And it has helped them. A lot. But either black UpCity and or black tourmaline. And you can just bury it under your ground in your four corners. If you have a really, really big yard. I would put it. Other, you know, So many feet, like maybe 10, 20 feet apart. If you have a big property. Uh, Pedalyte. It's a rare crystal. That is. Colorless. With potentially past cell tone colors, including gray. Pink. White. Yellow. Or yellow, gray colors. It has calming and soothing properties. It alleviates stress, anxiety, and promote emotional healing. It also has a energy that is believed to offer a multitude of metaphysical benefits such as deepening meditation practices and fostering a stronger connection with the higher realm. It encourages people to explore their spiritual path and embrace personal transformation. Since oil. Here are a few of the essential oils. The blends and reinforce. The qualities. Of the waning moon energy. Bay Laurel Cyprus blue Lotus. And in a seed. Bay Laurel. And still self-trust and promotes intuition and psychic awareness. Cyprus is cleansing and grounding. And creates a constructive atmosphere for evaluating choices. It helps with difficult or painful transition. It instills inner strength and confidence. Calms the mind and emotion and reduces anxiety. Blue Lotus is used by many shamans and meditators for introspection. And enhancing vision and. Perspectives. And his seed is an oil. To use to open to Energetic and spiritual guidance. A ritual. Uh, banishing ritual, you will need a pen and paper and a tea, like cancel. Right on the page. Moved from your life, like a bad, a person situation, emotion, light in a safe Rita. I have written.
