Welcome to holistic secrets podcast. Where we will guide you to reveal the secrets that aren't always shared join us. As we help you gain an understanding of spiritual world with me Apryl. And with me Tess. Let's dive and do it. What's up guys. Back at it. Uh, so starting this week and for the next 12 weeks, I know it seems like a really long time, but we're going to start going into the Zodiacs and all the different things about the Zodiacs and. Just really deep diving into that to give you guys some more information mainly about yourselves, pretty much. So. Yeah. It'll be exciting to listen to the different zodiacs cause I don't know all of them. So it'll be interesting. I'll learn from this too. And, uh, I know, most of them. I mean, I know them, but I'm like, I've never done a deeper dive into them and all their characteristics. Like I know you guys, you know, my kids. And other signs, but not, not some of the other random. Yeah. Signs that are out there. All right. So this week we'll be starting our journey with Aries. Because it was considered to be the first sign. Because it represents new beginnings. It is marked by the spring Equinox. On March 21st. And the dates for Aries are March 21st through April 19th. So if you're born between these dates you are an Aries Aries season begins at the Vernal Equinox representing the yearly birth of the sun in the Northern hemisphere. And the renewal of growth in spring. Aries is bursting with youthful enthusiasm and the long winter. Aries is the first of the four Cardinal signs of the Zodiac. Hold an elemental initiatory energy that marks the beginning of the four seasons. Aries begins the spring, the source of the Rams affinity. For being a fiery starter. Leader and trailblazer. The other Cardinal signs are. Cancer starts summer. Libra begins fall and Capricorn starts winter. The presence of Aries always marks the beginning of something energetic and turbulent. Constantly looking for dynamic speed and competition. Always being first in everything. Aries is one of the most active Zodiac signs and is in their nature to take action sometimes before they even think about it. Yeah, you do that all the time. Aries rules the head and lead with the head often, literally walking head first. There are naturally brave and rarely, afraid of trial and risk. So then the sign that represents Aries is the flying Ram. Makes sense. Yeah. Head first. So the flying Ram was guided by the story of the golden fleece. Now I didn't, I'm not going to include the entire story of the golden fleece. I'm just gonna quickly give you like a brief recap of it in a sense. But the fleece is a symbol of authority and kingship. The golden fleece. Is the fleece created from Crius the flying Ram

who was born of the sea god Poseidon and the goddess Theophane. The golden fleece is also the much coveted object which Jason must present to Pelias to reclaim his throne. Through the help of Medea, they acquire the golden fleece. The theme in this story is that being greedy always comes back to bite you and it never benefits you. In the myth, Pelias lets greed and wealth get to him. He sends Jason on this quest only just to get rid of him. However, Jason returns and becomes king, while Pelias ends up dying from his own actions. This story shows that Aries is ready to be the hero of the day. The power of the Ram is carried on its back. He is the gold itself, shining and attractive to those ready for betrayal. The story of glory that isn't easy to carry on its, in its two horns. If the animal doesn't get shorn, allowing change, they won't receive much from the world. Aries has a task to share their position, power, gold, physical strength with other people willingly. And if they do not share what they have, stopping the natural flow, fear within them will take over. And the process of giving and receiving will hold balance at zero, which means Aries, Aries is a giver and they have to give, they have to help, they have to be doing things for other people in order to fulfill their, like to fulfill themselves. And if they're not doing that, that's when their mind takes over, they get in on themselves. It's actually really like, weird because of how Standoffish an Aries can be because they don't get along with people well, but they have to do the most for people, if that makes sense.

Alright, so. Getting into. Uh, the constellation aspect of things. Aries is a small constellation in the Northern sky between Pisces and Torres. It has an area of 441 square feet. Making it the 39th largest constellation. Aries is difficult to see. Because the stars are dim. But it is best viewed from the Northern hemisphere in December or January. The brightest star in the constellation is Hamel. With a magnitude of 2.0. The magnitude scale for stars is that the brightest objects have the smallest numbers. While the faintest objects have the larger numbers. The name hamill comes from the Arabic word for lamb. Aries is represented by a Ram. Which is associated with the Egyptian God Ammon. And the Ram with the golden fleece in Greek mythology. According to one myth. A winged golden Ram. uh, Nephelle the true mother of twins Phrixus and Helle. Sorry, I'm going to apologize. Now, these Greek names are I'm gonna. Butcher them. I would too. The rest. Of Phoenix and Helle rescued them from starvation and took them. To Colchis. Helle, Fell off the Ram and drowned in Dardanelles but Phrixus survived and later sacrificed the Ram to the gods in gratitude. The Ram was then immortalized as the constellation Aries. The constellation Aries has many main stars. Including the three that form. Add an asterism. And asterism is a prominent pattern or group of stars. Typically having a popular name, but smaller than a constellation. And they're often used for navigation. Those three stars are Alpha Arietis or Hamel. The brightest star in Aries and it has. An orange giant that forms the constellations head. And then there's Beta Arietis or Sheratan. A binary system that forms the point of Aries horns. Gamma Arietis or Mesarthim. It is a triple star system. That's 160 light years away from earth. So that's like crazy far. Yeah.

Okay, the color associated with Aries is the color red, represented by the element fire. Fire is an element with strong masculine energy. It easily neglects its feminine side.

Speaker:

Very true, very true.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's probably why you're a tomboy. This can cause a disruption in your emotional state. Essentially burning everything around you. Being a fire sign, you need to respect your emotional side and acknowledge your emotional needs or it can lead to conflicts. Your emotions tie into your feminine side, so ignoring that could be why you're in a constant battle with, I feel this, but I don't want to show that. because your masculine side takes over. The biggest challenge for anyone who is guided by the element of fire is remaining calm and peaceful.

Yep, that's you. The ruler is Mars, which represents our basic energy, our first chakra, and speaking of fears that tend to control our lives. If you're brave enough to live up to your full potential here on planet Earth, Mars is the one to help you find your grounding. resolve material and existential issues. It provides you with the energy needed to follow any plans and reach any goals you wish to. But Mars is also seen as fast, instinctive, rash, aggressive, pushy, and angry. Cause you're pushy.

The ruling planet of Aries is max powered Mars. But all April born Aries are either second or third. decan Aries meaning that they have secondary cold ruling planets. Affecting the radiation of their Aries, energy. Because March Aries are completely ruled by Mars. They often come across as the most textbook Aries. And embody this sign, strength and weaknesses. Think impulsive headstrong and take charge. Aries is known for being one of the most daring embrace signs of the zodiac. But April born Aries may be even more drawn to the wild side of life. Then March Aries. That fits you. You're right. That's because about half of April Aries is cold ruled by the lucky planet. Jupiter. The March Aries is likely to be even more enthusiastic and determined to take the crown. Aries people would do anything to make sure they crush their competition. Whether they are playing a board game or at a corporate. Chain. Uh, yeah, that fits Brandi. My oldest one who's Aries. Uh, March Aries. Yeah, she's nothing very competitive, a fucking monopoly. I never played her at Uno. Terrifying. She wins at. Every game. April Aries personality. April's Aries is one of the fire signs. So their appearance is always bright and full of sparkle. But about half of April's Aries are second decan Aries meaning that they have the sun. As their planetary co ruler. Uses them with an ever deeper drive to succeed and an unwavering sense of self competence. Even more so than their March. Born counterparts. The planet sun is the center of ourSurya Mandel. Which symbolizes the ultimate source of energy and life. So these Aries can help, but strike their stuff and attract the spotlight wherever they go. You're right. I'm always the center of attention. Aries needs to take initiative when it comes to romance. When they fall in love, they will express their feelings without giving it too much thought. The compatibility of an Aries with other signs of the Zodiac is very complex. When in love, they may shower their loved one with affection, sometimes even to an excess. They are very passionate, energetic, and love adventures. They are passionate lovers. They are tolerant of people they come in contact with, respectful of different personalities. Their circle of friends needs a wide range of strange individuals. mostly for them to have enough different views on personal matters that they don't know how to resolve. Since people born in the sign of Aries easily enter communication direct and honest in their approach, they will make an incredible number of connections and acquaintances in their lifetime. They often cut many of these short due to dishonesty or unclear intentions. Long term friendships will come with those who are just as energetic and brave.

Hey, they're good friends. I know that matters. Yep. They're strange, but I do go to every single one of them separately with a problem and every single person gives me a different response. But they're all relatively the same.

But they give me a different approach. So, like, that makes so much sense.

To all of my friendships throughout elementary school, middle school, high school. Cause I did, I rotated people like they were fuckin

I know, they rotated through my house.

The most compatible signs for Aries. Tend to be the three fire signs, Aries, Leo Sagittarius. Who understand the need for independence and passion. Aries is also compatible with the three air signs, Gemini Libra and Aquarius. Who have similar attitudes and values. And value of venture freedom and open conversation. But it does have a downside and that is. Since they are so similar. It could be hard for a relationship to gain traction since they both love their freedom. Yeah. Um, I'm Aquarius. I want my freedom. It's hard for Aries to establish long-term committed relationships with fire and air signs. That does not mean it couldn't happen. It's just that it could be harder. The least compatible signs or the water signs. Cancer Scorpio Pisces. Who tend to be more internal and private than the fire signs. The direct communication styles of Aries can hurt the sensitive water signs feelings and caused them to withdraw. Water signs can be insecure and jealous, which in turn can interfere with Aries need for freedom. They can find themselves incompatible with the earth signs. Taurus Virgo, Capricorn. Who tend to be traditional and structured. At first, the dependable earth sign can feel like a welcome anchor, but over time Aries can feel suffocated by the earth signs need to plan. Power struggles can develop since both of them will want to control. And compromising will be difficult. So if you like pay attention, Aries as a fire sign. Aries gets along with air signs, like fire signs, get along with air signs because air fuels fire. But if you look they're at least compatible with water, because what puts out fire. Water. They can find themselves in compatible with earth because if you throw dirt on fire, what happens. You put them out. The funny thing is my fiance is a Taurus. But because I am so fiery and I am so. Very in tune with my Aries side over the top. Yes, he doesn't extinguish me. He just dwindles me down a little bit. Cause he's not as this is going to sound so bad, but he's not as dull. As most earth science can, because like that said, they're very structured, very traditional and he is not. He is, I don't think he was supposed to be a Taurus, but he doesn't completely put me out, which is why I think we're not completely incompatible. Well, he's an earth sign. So he just throws a little dirt on you. Yeah. He's like, knock it off. Yeah. Yeah, and that is so true. He does do that. He brings her down. Oh, yeah, a lot.'cause there's times I'll just. Like last night. I'm yelling at him, just yelling and screaming because I went downstairs to get a drink. And he left all the fucking cheese and the sour cream. Everything out. But turned off the lights and he tried saying to me, Well, I didn't think you were done then why did you to turn the damn light out. Why'd you come up here and get all cuddle in bed and not say nothing to me. Huh. I'm going off. She just looks at me. He goes, Will you please. Go to bed. You are so tired and you're being ridiculous. And I was like, The fuck you crawl in bed, went to bed. I love that he tamps. Your ass down. When it kills me, man. Oh man. But. With talking about that. Being independent, any ambitious. They often know at a young age where they want to go in life and they separate from family pretty early. Which I did. I moved out at like, 16. Moved in with. Douche bag. Okay. Anyway. As children, they can be hard to control. And if they don't receive enough love and patience from their parents, all of their intimate bonds later in life could suffer. A lot of anger comes from the sign. If too many restrictions come their way. They will take on family obligations when they need to be taken care of. Never refusing more work as if their pool of energy never runs out. They are a natural born leader, preferring to issue orders rather than receive them. When faced with challenges, they will quickly assess the situation and come to a solution. Competition does not bother them, but in sending encourages them to shine even brighter. As an Aries parent. As a mom or dad, they can tend to be a bit competitive. Accurate. They may push their kids to achieve. Yes. Yes, I do. Aries parents can be excellent teachers and role models. If one of their children happens to be interested in the same thing as the parent. There'll be over the moon, excited to teach them their expertise. Like. We're putting Raleigh into cheer. We're just a little six week thing. She's only three years old. Going to be three years. It's a little stupid six week cheer camp, but like, I'm so excited for her to start. And I keep asking her like, Raleigh. You want to start cheering? She's like, yeah. I'm like really? You want to start cheering. Yeah. And I'm like, yeah. Well that's because you were a competitive cheerleader coach and everything else. Over the top. You're right. We don't like winter art. We don't like losers. We're only winners here. Hello. Yeah, you were, you had that mindset for quite a few years. Cause anything below second place, we were a bunch of fucking losers. Just kidding. If we got, if we didn't get first, we were all crying. Yeah, your team did because I mean, they were very good. They were a very good team, but they needed to get that second place because their heads were just. way Up in the air. And I was so glad when they got that first, second place, man, even though they all cried, oh my God, we didn't want them cry. We were so hysterical. Like I know half the girls wouldn't even take the trophy. Well, well, that's wrong. Oh, my God, it was so bad. Like, oh, they, nobody wants nothing to do with that second place. You use we're like what? 10, 11. Yeah, usually. Our first that, oh, what's that our first season, I think that was like our second or third season that we got that first, second. Because I know first, my first season cheering, we got off first because that was the year we went to national. You did that? You did that a couple of couple of years. And then I think it was your third year that. That's the first second. We were like, 10 and 10 to 12. Yeah. And like your heart, like as young girls, like your hormones are just starting to like present themselves. You'll. Everybody lost it. That was it. These were all a bunch of assholes, brats, brats, spoiled, spoiled brats. Yes. Hey, you did that. Oh, no, no, no, no, not me. Uh, But Aries can be wise. I know it's hard to believe, but I can be. You are and save money for a rainy day, but they love the joy of spending it. They live in the present and they aren't that focus on the future, which that's. What makes them a little irrational and hasty when it comes to like financial decisions. But they always find a way to earn money and they always compensate for what they spend. Some strengths of an Aries. Is that they're courageous, determined, confident, enthusiastic, optimistic, honest, and passionate. But with those strengths do come some weaknesses. Such as their impatient moody, short-tempered impulsive and aggressive. Again, my. My fiance, my friends and my family can all attest. I am all of the above. Yep. They love comfy clothes taking on leadership roles and physical challenges. They also love individual sports. See, I wasn't much of an individual sport person. Like, no, you were a team. You can catch me out there, like running track or like hurdling shit or nothing like that. Like, I feel like I always needed like a team. Yeah. But they dislike inactivity delay and work that does not use one's talent. Aries is an aggressive, assertive, compassionate, and loving sign. Like anyone, they have their challenges. But once you're in an Aries"s life, they will do. Basically anything for you at any given time, but the second you were dishonest or you prove yourself to be untrustworthy. Kick it to the curb. Because they're not going to put up with it. All right. So then just some lucky numbers for Aries are nine, seven, and 17. Some say that the lucky numbers are associated with it. Each Zodiac sign. And our belief to bring the positive energy and good fortune. Aries are also said to be lucky on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays would, you know, I don't think I'm looking on Fridays because every Friday at work I'm fucking slammed. Every home was like 15, 20 14. And I'm like why we had all week. So I think that's a lie, but that's just my opinion. Um, Aries are known for being naturally confident and assertive. The most powerful affirmations for an area is I am. dot.dot. You can easily manifest your goals since you have this bold and courageous side. Some examples. Or like, I am successful. I am loved. I am allowed to feel good. I am living with abundance. So whatever you want. I am. Overcome with money. I am. Living in my new house, whatever you want, just put I am in front of it. And if you say it every single day, It'll come out eventually, even if you say it more than once a day. Oh, yeah. Bare minimum once a day. Yeah. So then being action oriented. Aries and benefit from dynamic rituals. Like a candle ritual, try lighting a red candle and visualize your desires while affirming your attentions with confidence. Aries are full of confidence. If you speak everything with confidence and assertiveness. While doing this candle ritual with the red candle since red is the color of Aries. It's also going to help bring your dreams to fruition. So then Aries have two different birthstones. And those two birthstones are aquamarine for March and diamond for April. Aqua Marine is used to heal the sick. Purify water. And protect sailors. And helps us gain insight truth. Wisdom and can be used to help calm the mind. Nerves and anxieties. When wearing aquamarine or having the crystal on you. It aides and gaining, understanding honesty, discipline. And wisdom. And helps to attract wealth. Prosperity and good luck. In the middle ages, people believe that wearing aquamarine will prevent them from being poisoned. Ancient Romans carved frogs into them to help turn enemies into friends. Ancient medicines were made from aquamarine powders to help cure a variety of illnesses. eye ailments and allergic reactions. I also wonder if that's why so many people died because they were just ingesting rocks. I don't know. That's probably why they didn't live too long, but that's what I mean, like, yeah, come on now. So then diamonds symbolize strength and everlasting love. Why else do you think we have diamond rings for engagement rings? True. It's clarity and radiant signifies purity. In a sense and positive energy. Believing the illumination and reflection of a diamond will inspire imagination ingenuity. And it's where they also bring about strength, fortitude and courage, three diamonds. Hardness and quote-unquote invincibility. Having the power to drive away, bad energy or fortune. It is believed that diamonds have cosmic energy. Ancient Egyptiansbelieved diamonds represented the sun. In India, they were considered. Divine objects and we're used to ward off evil spirits. And in many cultures they're believed to cleanse, restore and balance the mind, body and soul. They're associated with the power to illuminate. The mind and provide mental clarity. So, I wonder if that's why they give. The diamonds as the rings. Oh, yeah, definitely. I agree with that. Yeah.'cause that, that like digging into that it's like, wow, well done. I wonder if they're trying to get that woman. But like, is this really what you want to do, girl? Like, is that really what you want? Let's clear your mind up a little bit. Uh, huh. Which some people would take that into consideration. Instead of getting married when they shouldn't. And then just some of the well-known Aries are Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion. Maya Angelou, who the hell was that? Maya Angelo. She is, a poet. And, my God. I can't think of it. She's a very well-known actress. Oh, she was in one of the Medea movies. Oh, we're at the end. She sits there. At the wedding and she does the speech. It's a very great speech. Um, yeah, she's the one that has the locks and the, and Medea family reunion. I don't know. I don't remember. She was locked. Look it up later and look it up guys. Heath ledger. Love him. RIP. Thomas Jefferson. He created the light bulb. Right. Yeah. He was a president. Thomas Edison. All right. I take back the wise. Part. Um, Peyton Manning and Robert Downey Jr. I love Robert Downy Jr oh my God. Oh man. Oh, well, Thomas Edison made it in it's all right. God only knows what sign he is. Don't worry. When I figured out what sign he has, I'm going to include him in the next. zodiac Thomas. Oh, she definitely doesn't know her presidents. What sucks is like history was my favorite subject. Well, you failed. Oh, man. All right. So then for our Tarot cards, I went back to the Moonology ones because in the moonology ones, they have, um, the Zodiac. With the full moon and the different Zodiacs and shit. Shit. So the cards that we pulled out today was. For full moon in Sagittarius, which goes along with our fire sign. Uh, look at the bigger picture and for just a regular full moon to surrender to the divine. So basically. You're going to look at the, at the bigger picture, which is going to include the divine, which you can't get much bigger than that. Yeah. Basically surrender yourself to that. And I can bet you a lot of things in your life and then just start kind of like falling. Into the place. Yep. Look at the big picture and then figure out what your small steps are to get to that bigger picture and have the divine with you. And the divine could be just, you know, universe, God, whatever you believe in. It's not one thing. Yeah. Yeah. Literally just be your guides. Yeah, exactly. You know, your higher self. Yeah, I can literally just be yourself. Your higher self is up during the divine. So. Yeah. You know, just keep plugging along. Do your. Do your, uh, positive. Mantras. get out there. Do some of your moon. The moon rituals. Yeah. That'll help. It'll help a lot. I mean, you don't have to do every single one. No, but if you do, if you do the new moon, you do the full moon. And working between them. That'll get you to your higher. Bigger picture. Yeah. But all right, that's going to do it for Aries. see ya at the next Zodiac.
