EPISODE 18 RETROGRADES PART 2

This episode is all about retrogrades and explaining what happens when we are going through the retrogrades.  We are explaining the retrogrades from Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.  These planets are the slower moving planets in our solar system, so they are in retrograde for longer periods of time.  They don't affect us like a Mercury retrograde, but they still have an impact on us.

Welcome to holistic secrets podcast. Where we will guide you to reveal the secrets that aren't always shared join us. As we help you gain an understanding of spiritual world with me Apryl. And with me Tess. Let's dive and do it. Hi. This is Tess. Welcome back to the series on retro grades. This is part two of the series. And we'll be diving into Jupiter. Saturn. Uranus Neptune. And Pluto, retro grades. They are complicated to understand at times. So let's see if we can make it a little easier to understand them. Jupiter retrograde. In astrology. Jupiter is known as the great benefit. Named out to the king of the gods Jupiter's influence is God-like it bestows knowledge? Abundance. Good fortune. Joy luck and wisdom. It has virtues of compassion, kindness, generosity, temperance. Perspective and objectivity. Jupiter rules sagittarius and Pisces. And is the natural ruler. Of the ninth and 12th houses. All associated with matters of spirituality. Jupiter is the teacher. He is a seeker. Pursuits. That expand the consciousness. Jupiter Represents the higher mind and draws one beyond known boundaries. Literally or metaphorically. And into an exploration of the unknown. Which requires a leap of faith. The danger here is excess. It's important to know when you have had too much of a good thing. Jupiter expand. And magnifies. What is present for better or worse? Even if it can't give it will protect. Jupiter retrograde will often bring detours. And chances. For course corrections in the area. Transitioning. This is a retrospective journey. Whose purpose is to look at the big picture. Fine temperance and pull back. If we veered too far, of course. There could be a questioning of the laws surrounding the matter. Of the house. It is retro grading in. For some, this could be a phase of deep. Physiologic questions. Or a deep dive into esoteric religious spiritual and metaphysical studies. As you regain perspective. And see things in a new light. There is a discovery of previous miss blessings. And greater potential. There could even be a realization of one's good fortune. Even in a situation that previously seemed greater. Then the individual's capacity to handle it. You could have. A deep. Restoration of one's faith. In oneself. In a larger world. And in a greater invisible force that governs the laws of the universe. This can mark the time to enter the inner journey. Of self real lazy. with great weirdness. This can work the time to answer the inner journey as self-realization with greater awareness. Only then can there be true discovery of one's gift? And a greater appreciation for this gift of life. Jupiter retrograde suggests that what we seek is within. Native. With Jupiter retrograde in their natal chart. We'll tend to have an innate sense of righteousness. Morality, faith and wisdom beyond their years. Depending on Jupiter's house placement one, we'll take a physiological approach regarding matters of that house. Seeking a deeper truth. For example, if the second house is where Jupiter Reece sides. This translates to a quest for one's true values and worth. Beyond material possessions. As deemed by society. Jupiter is malevolent even when retro grade. Allowing you to. Internalize positivity. On a Depot. Level. If you have Jupiter in your natal chart, you value kindness, generosity, compassion. Reason. And purpose for existence. And an awareness of their gifts. In the earlier years, it is harder to share their gifts with everyone. Because of lack of opportunities. Self confidence and self doubt. In the first 30 years. Of natives life. Jupiter roll station direct. By progression, making it at a time when the wheel of fortune is turning. Demanding. A huge leap of faith. It may seem like your life experiences are in preparation for this moment. As you regain interfaith, it will be easier to share one's gift. With the world without carrying so much. About how the gifts are received. So the Jupiter retrograde. Is making you look inside of yourself. And see what you already have and bringing it to the front. To make you realize. What gifts. You have. It's your experiences also then make you who you are. And always prepare you for the things to come. I remember when I was first starting on my witchy journey and all the books I read, no internet back then. I read so much and never thought I would use it. But as I evolved through the different levels of awareness, A lot of that information comes back up. And it helps me to move forward today. So when we were in a Jupiter retrograde, It will come forward, what you need from your past. Now we're going to dive into Saturn retro grade. Saturn and astrology. Is the great malefic. No four it's serious cold, and sometimes harsh influence. It is the planet that rules time. Karma. Responsibility and wisdom. Siren is the ruler of Capricorn. And Aquarius. Saturn is the master architect of the Zodiac. By representing the way we respond to authority. Status. And discipline in our lives. When Sandra and appears to be moving backwards is the backward motion that is Saturn retro grade. Saturn stations retro. Great. Once a year. Spending about a third of the year richer grade. And last. Four and a half months. We're out for Lilly about 36% of its time is in retrograde. Well, other planet show a D habilitation of their qualities. Saffron's boundaries. And limiting powers are actually enhanced, often bringing outdated lessons. And reality checks. When the Lord of comic retro grades, karmic debts are sorted out by blending the past. With the president. And the future. Not all is negative. As a fair and wise teacher. Saturn retrograde will bring me wards our way. Especially if real efforts were made during the time it was direct. Some sad run retro grade effects. Normally Sandrine rules. Boundaries. Limits. Responsibilities. Discipline. And authority. During any Saturn retrograde. Transit. We may revisit or review those topics associated with Saturn. Or feel as if we are given. Momentary reprieve. From the typical effects of Saturn transits. Which made include pressure. And a sensation of burden, fear. Frustration. Similar to all retro grade transits. Saturn's retro grade periods. Are excellent for reviewing what we have learned thus far. From Saturn's transits with a view to continuous improvement. Saturn retrograde periods are also idea for revisiting. Form or structure. And understanding of how something may best be built to stand the test of time. Since Saturn is a slow moving planet. Transits from saffron to a natal planet normally last two and a half months. If any of our natal planets fall within the degrees of Saturn's Richard great transit. The resulting transit may add up to 11 months. Overall. This is the reason Saturn's retro grades are so important. Saturn transit. Can dominate. An entire year of our lives. Since the Saturn retro grade last one third of the year. There is a good chance. You may have Saturn retrograde in your birth chart. Richard Gray planets in a birth chart. Or at times described as being unable to fully express themselves. Or having all, but. Odd ball roundabout ways. Of manifesting their influence. Just like the common idea that Richard Gray planets. In a natal chart only begin to emerge successfully later in life. After much. Introspect and adjustment. And that goes for all of these planets that I'm talking about. It takes your life experience. And looking back at what you have done in your life and the adjustments you have made. And all these later planets and I'm talking about today. Or I should say the feather away planets. That I'm talking about today. The gifts come out later in your life that you realize what, what they're bringing to you. So I'm probably not going to keep saying that. In every different planet, but just know that. After much introspect and adjustment. Then your gifts start coming out. In traditional astrology, retrograde planets are not seen. As merely misguided. But as being thoroughly weakened. Speed and visibility here, both important considerations to ancient astrologer. And on both account. It's retro grade planets are at a disadvantage. Fast moving planets were interpreted as being active. And able to bring about their significance. Well, slow moving planets. Like one's in retrograde were deemed to be too sluggish. To do their job properly. And just so. Just a little side note. My voice still is not the best. So I know it is. It is cracking in. I kind of sound like. Real nasally and everything else. So I do apologize for that. These past three weeks, I have just been sick with, I don't know if it's allergies sinuses. But it's really been kicking my butt. Saturn's job in our natal charts is to help us be friends. Our inner patriarch. And archetype we can call upon when we need authority. Discipline and no nonsense feedback. Saturn retrograde in the natal chart. Can suggest that our father figure was absent or involved in sense your way. That precluded our ability to develop self-esteem. And inner security. This Richard great can inhabit one's abilities. To create effective brand. Boundaries. At work or in a relationship. There may exist or persistent need to always respond in the affirmative. We may suffer from repressed fears. A feeling of inquest. Inadequacy. Or a nagging sense that despite our best effort. We could have done more, better or different. So the power of Saturn retrograde. Can be harnessed towards success. We just need to filter the inbound messages from our inner critics. We can focus on what's helpful. And ignore what's unnecessarily hurtful. That is something to strive for every day. Not just during the Saturn retrograde. You know, we need to boost ourselves up. Not not knock ourselves. I was down. And the more you boost yourself up in everyday life, not just storing. Decider and retro gray. We'll help you to become a better person all the way around. I know people. You know, I tell people time, be positive. You know, Always think of everything in the positive light. Try not to have negativity. Especially when, you know, especially when you're meditating. Or you're trying to work on stuff. If you do rituals or spells or whatever, always do it in a positive light. Saturn Richard Gray. Helps you to do that? Now on. Cheesy arenas, retro grade. As an outer planet. Uranus moves slowly. Taking 84 years to complete the Zodiac. And spindly. And spending roughly seven years. In each sign. Due to the slow motion. Uranus is a generational planet. Along with Neptune and Pluto. In astrology. Uranus is linked to surprises. Innovation. Revolution and liberation. As the modern ruler of Aquarius. Uranus is just. Demonstrated of all that is unique. Wild. Unpredictable. And unusual in our lives. Uranus station's richer grade once every year. Spending just under half a year, retro grade. They normally last about five months. Uranus appears to move backwards in the sky. We covering approximately four degrees, each richer grade. It spends about 40% of its time. In retro grade. With Uranus transits, we are given a choice. Change. Or die. What Uranus threatens us with is not physical death. But a creative soul level. Weathering. And inability to thrive. If allowed to settle within. Wood rot us from the inside out. Without Uranus is. Up ending ways. Many of us would set old Jeep. Into our most familiar ruts and never looked back. Comfortable. Enter. Ambivalence. Uranus pushes us past the edge of comfort. And further, still. It is at these boundaries somewhere between ordering chaos. Where genius and creativity thrive. Uranus retrograde. Effects show up in our lives. As both. The crackle of lightning. Which burns down our price structures. As well as the enlightening bolt. Of intuitive. Knowing that it invokes innovation. Facilitating powerfully and unexpectedly. Between breakdown. And break through. Uranus transits. Are notoriously difficult to predict. In astrological interpretation. And singular in their ability. To produce out of the blue shocking outcomes. On a positive note. Uranus isn't awake in her. Making us face the things we intuitively know already. But struggled to confront. These wake up calls. Or often brutally timed. And may force us to let go. Parts of our ego identities, which are in danger of suffocating. The entire system. The urge to transform. Our reality. Is best examined. During. Uranus retro grade. When we have a better objectivity. And a cooler. More even keeled approach. During Uranus retrograde. The vial. Pace. And pitch. Of Uranus energy. Is halted. Dulled and brought to a manageable level. We can finally find a way to focus its brilliance. And make use of it. Uranus is retrograde 41% of the year. So it is normal to have Uranus retrograde in your natal chart. Retro gray planets in a birth chart are described as being unable to fully express themselves or having odd ball. Roundabout ways of manifesting their influence. And it is common for them to emerge successfully later in life. After much introspection and adjustment. In traditional astrology. However, Richard Gray planets are not seen as merely misguided. But as being totally weakened. Speed and visibility are both important. Considering considerations. To ancient astrologers and on both accounts, richer group planets are at a disadvantage. Fast moving planets were interpreted as being active and able to bring out. About their significance. what a slower moving planets. Like one's in retro, gray were deemed too sluggish to do their job poorly. It is worth noting that the outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto had not yet been discovered. When the ancient astrologers were drafting their opinions on retrograde planets., In general Uranus retrograde in the natal chart. Is considered less impactful. Than a retro grade, personal planet. Like mercury arenas. Uranus is responsibility in the birth chart. Is to awaken us to real freedom. Pushing us out of the complaint sent. Those subsequent breakdowns and breakthroughs. Whenever your rain is, is found in the birth chart. Is an area of life which may or may feel in order, knitly confident. Even if we are not. Throughout life. We may hatch an escape plan. Attempting to free ourselves from the shackles of responsibility. Prominently placed arenas, whether direct or retrograde usually indicates that the holder of the chart. Must find a way. To grapple with the Wiley energy of Uranus. Charting a middle path between inspired innovation. A meaningless rebellion. Positively. This usually leads those with prominent Irina's placements to a high level of I don't normally. And self individualization. When poorly expressed. Uranian influence Kenny repped as erratic, outburst, or brilliance, which failed to find proper expression, immaterial reality. Those with Uranus retrograde in their natal charts. May need to expand considerable energy. Coming to terms with their need for individuality. And freedom. That just all sit so well with me because I'm an Aquarian. And. Everything about Uranus. That I just read is just like, so spot on for an Aquarian. All right. So now we are on to the Neptune richer grade. Net tune is a planet of feminine energy. And the modern ruler of Pisces. She symbolizes what idea? No bull. Transcendent. Nebulous and spiritual. In our lives. She is how we experience a sense of unity and sympathy with the world. However, she also represents how we encounter illusions. Delusions addiction. And loss. Neptune takes his time to move through the Zodiac spending roughly 14 years in each sign. Because of this snail pace. The effect of the transit may be subtle. And revealed themselves only over time. Or when Neptune makes significant aspects to the natal chart. Neptune stations retrograde only once a year. Spending nearly half of the year there. As these retrograde cycles normally last between. Five to six months. Neptune's role. In astrology. You have find it. With it soft touch, spiritual themes. Ranging from it. Ability to inspire Hetty. Artistic visions as well as pitch us into mystical whirlpools. Of healing. Neptune has a nebulizing effect. That can snap us out of our ego identities. Just long enough to let a little universal love pour in. It is not all rosy. In the foggy realms of Neptune. Boundaries tend to disappear altogether. Leaving us open to deception and delusions. While part of Neptune's tendency is admirable. In so much it. Generates a well-intentioned desire to serve without reward. The danger with the planet Neptune is to dissolve entirety in the other. Sacrificing or. Ego identity as we search for salvation. We're Neptune is in the natal chart by sine house an aspect. I can describe an area of life where we seek to be redeemed from the disappointing. Reality of human existence. This is usually unconscious. By throwing ourselves into work or relationships. Past all points. Of separation. We may be seeking much more than a happy marriage or a pay raise. Deep down. We may believe that this area of life will lead us to deliverance. And that by sublimating our personal ego-based needs to a greater good. We will somehow manage to atone for our sins. And be welcomed back into Eden. Neptune also involves a fair amount of fantasy. There's something dying, nicest sin, Neptune. Music dance diversion. And indulgence. Converge into one. Leading us from this plane of existence. Into sacred. Non-linear. Consciousness. As a higher octave of planet. Venus. Highly personal affection of romance are transmuted by Neptune. Into collective unconditional love. Neptune Richard great effects. As being the master of illusion. The fact that it is Richard great. 40% of the time. Means Neptune's effects are subtle. And sneaky, very sneaky. When direct neptune we'll pull a veil. On our eyes. Helping us to hide anxieties. An unwanted realities. In retrograde Neptune loses its power. And this illusion is slowly but surely stripped away. Leaving us. Face to face with a harsh and painful reality. Those rose colored glasses are gone. And we must face reality. And sometimes that can be really hard. We don't see her coming until she's there. Neptune retrograde can help us find deeper meaning. Not only in our dreams. But in our entire existence. Net to move so slowly through the Zodiac. Transits from Neptune. To a natal planet. May last several years. This is why Neptune richer grades are important. Neptune transits can dominate entire years of our lives. If one of our natal planets is caught in the crosshairs of Neptune's retro greet station, the effect may be particularly intense and long lasting. Since Neptune spends half the year in retro grade. There's a good chance. You may have neptune Richard great. In your birth chart. The same is Uranus and Neptune. Retrograde is considered less impactful than mercury retrograde. Neptune retro grade can gave more potency. If Neptune forms strong aspects to other planets or points. Particularly this sun moon. And ascendant. Neptune, whether direct or retrograde. I may give on a dreamy count. It's an, a natural affinity suit, other worldly landscapes. Neptunian types are normally high. Empathic. An empath. Qualities. Which can open ripe channels of create to expression. Taking to the extreme, it could mean. Renouncing all connection to the material spear. Well, others may find. Themselves tripping the light. Fantastic. As they attempt to meet God. Through song and dance. Those and Neptune may have no trouble attracting the limelight. Neptune retrograde in the natal chart. May make those with displacement, less aware of their spongy. Boundary existence. There may be a deep, subconscious. Persistent desire to sub eliminate oneself. And needs to who ever they currently in throne. On that pedestal. And substantial setbacks, including, but not limited to addiction. Delusions and deception. Those would Neptune retrograde, maybe forced to negotiate the relationship to self sacrifice. And refortify their ego boundaries. Neptune retro grade can become a source of inspired compassion. And one S. You really have to watch, especially if, if there's like a diction. Problems in your family. You know, you can be received on a lot of things during this retrograde. His it's so harsh retrograde. You know, nobody wants to be deceived or. Have delusional. Things come into their mind. So just be very careful during a Neptune retrograde. Hey, now we're going to go to the last planet. Pluto retrograde. In astrology. Pluto's the God of the underworld. It is the modern ruler. Of Scorpio. It is how we experienced power sex. Death. We Newell, we birth. And hidden or subconscious forces. Pluto's stations, retro grade. Once every year. Spending roughly half the year, retro grade between five to six months. Pluto recovers 3%. And spends 40% of its time. In retro grade. Pluto is a brutal master. It is unrivaled in his ability to break down structured existence. If you rain his brakes. Neptune dissolves. Pluto destroys. He is an atomic bomb. To Neptune's mists. And Uranus is lightning bolts. Pluse less savory associations. Are many. Covering everything from societies underbelly. To death abuse. Control. Meaningless loss. And the resulting. Existential crisis. Pluto transits. Including pollutants, retrograde transits. Ken's deliver us to, and from the brink. Of our subconscious. Suspending us above the yawning. of our deepest, darkest self. Most of us have areas with NS. Where this dark. Stiff churns that outer compost pile. Where we send the unpretty thoughts. To lie still and be quiet. When Pluto retrogrades, we are given an opportunity to die. Below the surface. And better acquaint ourselves. With this psychic subconscious material. Because Pluto is incredibly slow moving planet. Transits from Pluto to a natal chart. May last three years or more. This is one reason. Pluto richer. Great. Transits are important. Pluto. Transits can dominate. An entire year of our lives. Like other planets retrograde lasting around five to six months. There's a chance you have a Pluto, Richard. Great. In your birth chart. And that they merge successfully later in life. Pluto as an outer planet has less effect. Than a retro grade. Personal planet like mercury or Venus. Pluto's. Inevitable remit is to introduce us to the Bleaker we out with ease of life. Like death and rebirth. Destruction and regeneration. All things, even particularly good things, people in places must meet their end. Eventually. Well, our joys can be plentiful. None of us. Scape scotch free. From the grip of pain and loss as we navigate through life. Prominently place, Pluto, whether direct or retro grade. May afford one at deeper. More cute relationship with the kinds of shattery. Material that Pluto in bodies. Let's hopefully. With Pluto's connection to power and control. Someone with Pluto, Richard Gray. Maybe less able to express their power effectively. And may find themselves more likely. To shrink back when confronted. Over time. Those with Pluto retrograde in the natal chart. Maybe come more able to integrate in the intensity. Of their personalities. Oh, wow. That was some intense information. That whole thing. Retro grades are so hard. To deal with. When we are going through them. They do help us, whether we like it or not. It, they help us to see some of the unsavory side of ourselves. Which. In. Light of everything. Helps us to move on. It helps us move on to be a better person. to help us go to the next level, if we're trying to go to the next level in our spirituality. They make us look at. Some not so great stuff that happened. Whether it's in this. Life or past lives or whatever it pools. Everything out of you. If you're going to really, really work with them. Like anything else? Be careful. Working with them. Make sure you're protected as much as you can make sure you're grounded down to the earth. And these last two episodes on retro grade. I have taken from astrology.com.
