Spiritual Hot Sauce
Spiritual Hot Sauce is a podcast for people rebuilding faith after it’s been stretched, cracked, or completely unraveled.
Hosted by Chris Jones, this show explores what comes after deconstruction—not a return to rigid systems, but a deeper, more personal way of experiencing God.
It’s about moving beyond performance-based religion and discovering a faith that is lived, relational, and uniquely your own.
The series “Scars That Speak” anchors the podcast with raw, honest stories of spiritual transformation in the middle of pain—where faith stops being theoretical and becomes something that rewires how we see everything.

Hey guys, big announcements coming for spiritual hot sauce, something a lot of you have been asking for. We are going to start launching, not on every episode, but a lot of episodes, the video. We'll be posting on our YouTube channel, Spiritual Hot Sauce, the video episodes. Again, not every one, but a lot of them. And we're going to start this Thursday because as you know, we launch a new episode every Thursday at 5 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Now, nothing's going to change on Apple Podcast and Spotify or however you get your audio only episodes. Those will still be launching as always. But in addition, we'll be releasing the video of these conversations, just on some of them. I'm going to be very protective of the Scars That Speak series and those guests we have. So those will stay audio only. But this Thursday, when we launch our new episode, and this one is wild. But I also feel like it's necessary. It's UAP disclosure and our faith. How do we reconcile that? So my expert guest in this field is Grant Eckhart, who is far from a flake. He's known for his substack Ministry in the Weird. He also holds a full-time pastoral position at Jacob's Porch, a ministry at Ohio State, where he teaches E.T. theology. So again, this guy isn't a flake. And through his pastoral sharing and teaching and encouraging, he helps us as we inch closer and closer to disclosure of how we reconcile that with our faith and what does that mean for the church if these things are real and disclosure happens. Guys, thank you so much. I'll see you this Thursday, and we'll see you on YouTube with video for those of you that want to see that. And guys, as always, if you like the flavor of the sauce, then absolutely make sure you follow and share because you don't want to miss all the things we've got coming. I'll see you this Thursday, guys. Thank you so much for supporting the show.
