This is another solo episode, where I’m speaking to my fellow transitional achievers who are navigating this world. I reflect on the war in Iran, America’s role in it, and how the biggest battle is often the one inside us. As I learn, question, and grow, I discuss gratitude and celebrate Michael B. Jordan’s Oscar win. This episode is a chance to explore these ideas and stay open to growth.

We at war.
SPEAKER_08I'm my face. I'm my face there. My face. I'm on face there. My face. I'm my face, Jeff, fitness deck this paper on my face. I'm my face, Jeff, fitness deck this, paper, my face.
SPEAKER_02I'm face family. Oh my God, it's so good to be back. It's so good to be back. It's so it's it's it's so good to be back. Where my thing at not that one. Not that one. Not that one. Yeah. We back and we back and we back and we back and we back. And let's go. Man, it's so good to be back, man. Um we at war. We're at war. Like, I can't waste. Look, I have no time to waste right now. We're at war right now. We're at war with Iran, and that's the biggest thing going on in the media. That's the biggest thing going on in the country. That's the biggest thing going on in the world. On this big blue and a little bit of green, I guess, rock. That's the biggest thing going on. That's the biggest thing going on to us, to us humans, right? Um, and I have an analogy, right? To break down the war. Like, I'm not too big into politics, right? Um, I'm just more so now, like looking and watching the news, seeing what this guy in office is talking about, listening to some people who are a little more experienced and getting a little education from them. But it seems like when when we talk about America's role in this war, it seems like somewhere that I've been before. I'm just gonna put it like that. It seems like a very human experience that a lot of us have been through before. And I'm gonna explain it to you. We've all grown up and we've been kids, and we've had, you know, kids like back in the day, like when they wasn't locked in on their phone and just you know, I mean, all that. Back in the day, we used to ride bikes. You know, I mean, the friend, the kids, your friend used to live a couple blocks down. I used to get on my bike. I didn't know have phones, so I was like, get on my bike, ride over there, knock on his door, see if he's home. Hey, can Johnny come play? His mom said, We're gonna see. Johnny comes out. Did you clean your room? Yes, mom, I clean my room. And then, oh, let's go. Me and Johnny go out. He get on his bike, and then we go. We go to the next house and we pick up somebody else, and we do the same process till we get about five of us, then we all at the park. And we playing, you know, a bunch of football, getting their games and at the park, hanging out, doing God knows what. But there was always that one kid, and I think we can all, some of y'all might have been that kid. I wasn't that kid, but some like, and I'm this is not a give uh a knock against you if you were that kid. But some of you might have been that kid. It's that one kid that says something out of the blue. He was like, Hey, you want to go smoke some weed? And it don't even gotta be weed, it could just be like, you want to do something bad. Like that one kid around that, okay, well, everyone's having a good time, and he is just trying to get you into doing something bad. He's trying to do something like he's just trying to scratch that itch. He has a bad itch where he wants to go out there in the world and just wreak havoc and make somebody's day worse, right? And and this is this is where I feel like America is, so stay with me. This is a conflict. Let me go back to the kids, and this is a conflict that we don't want to be a part of. And when you had that one friend that went out there and he did some bad stuff, maybe you went with him and you did a little bit of bad stuff. You're like, ah, but you didn't feel that good after. Or maybe you got in trouble and your parents they can't like what are you doing? You got whooped, you got on put on punishment, and then something happened. Then that next time comes back around, you go to Johnny's house, you get on your bike, is Johnny there? Oh, did you clean your room? All that process happens again, and you guys are back at the park. That same friend, he says, Hey, I don't like those guys over there. There's some other guys hanging around. Let's let's go beat them up. Right? And you like, man, hey, hey, what if his name's Fred? Hey, Fred, man. I you always getting me in trouble. Fred, you always getting me in trouble. You always got me doing things that I don't really want to do. That like last time I got in trouble. Like, my I was on punishment. I didn't, I like this is I don't want to do this, man. You always got me doing stuff I don't want to do. And then logically, right? If you were that person, you say, hey man, like, I'm not I'm not gonna participate in this with you. I I'm not gonna do this because I know this is gonna get me in trouble. I'm not gonna participate in this because I may get hurt. Or other people may get hurt. Right? So at a certain point, I feel like most of us, I feel like me, I've had that, where it's like you have to tell that person no. Nah, I'm I'm I'm good. I'm just gonna keep hanging out over here. Or I'm gonna go home. Y'all wanna do that? I'm gonna go home. And I feel like this is my understanding of what's going on. Am I a hundred percent right it on the head? No. Was that the best analogy ever? I don't know. Maybe it was to somebody you can connect to or you cannot. But this is just my understanding, a very low-level understanding of what is going on, right? And this is something where I don't feel like it is beneficial to America. And there was a comedian that he was just I want to look it up. It was a comedian that was talking about war, and like he was saying how war should be illegal. I'm gonna try to look it up for you guys. But Bill Bird.
SPEAKER_002024. Can you explain that to me? All right? I mean, as a comedian, I can't call a fat fuck a fat fuck anymore. All right? Even if he took my last slice of pizza and is denying it with pepperoni on his breath, I can't be like you fat, man-tinted cunt. I know what you did. Own up to it. Everybody's like, all right, well, he took your pizza, but that's like no reason to polish him. I mean, it's like it is. I can't get the fucking pizza back. At least I can make him feel bad about himself. I'm not allowed to do that, but it's still socially acceptable to shoot a missile in the general direction of somebody you're upset with. This is my favorite response. Oh, you know, you're using kids and human shit. It's like, oh, you're gonna work around that. And I want to beat the shit out of him, but he's holding a baby. I wouldn't come in and try to punch him through the baby. You throw in the throw. You sweep the legs, you throw it on the lawn so the baby bounces off the grass, right? There's fucking rules for this shit.
SPEAKER_02This that's hilarious, but that that that's that's yeah, it's it's mind-boggling. Like, I don't really get what's going on and how we're still at this point, and how in war there are fatalities, right? And we are just killing civilians. Like, and and not let's even forget about let's take the civilian part out of it. The fact that, man, like we have American soldiers, they have Iranian soldiers, and those are humans that choose to fight in this thing because of whatever reason, like who knows the true reason, right? Who knows? Yeah, we some of us know, but who, whatever the reason is, these people, we get some people over here, we get some people over here, and we fight, and some people are going to die in this process. Not even including the civilians, because the civilians, okay, that's a huge part, but people are dying. And I and I think it's I just it it blows my mind that we're in this predicament. It blows my mind that we couldn't just go home, that we couldn't just say no to that friend. It it blows my mind, right? But we're in it now, like we're literally in it now, and um, I have no problem with any human being, right? Not to the point where I want to see them hurt or die or like be in a position where they just have a terrible life and lifestyle and a lifestyle of war. It just it literally blows my mind. It really blows my mind. And what America is to me right now, and I don't know if it's just me or the feeling that America has, right? Because we talk about the Epstein Files like since the wars happened, no one's talking about the Epstein Files anymore, right? And this is not a political politics podcast, a political podcast, but this is just my view and what's going on. We're not talking about the Epstein Files anymore. And it just seems as if a lot of stuff was exposed, like a lot of stuff was going on, and a lot of bad things are happening, but a lot of people, it's literally like um a baby does something bad. You don't hit a baby, but maybe you give them a little, you give them a little. Like that that's what it seems. That's literally what it seems like to me at this let me see. At this point in time right now, that's literally what it seems like, and it's and it's weird because a lot of this stuff that has gotten exposed in there and the like you need evidence. You need like, is this not evidence enough for these people to be reprimanded? Is it not evidence enough to for these people to go down? Is it not evident, like, is it not evidence enough of what everything that's going on? But what I've realized is that the world is not what it seems, and I think once we get that through our mind, this will not be as mind-blowing to you that nothing has happened. Because there was a week or so, a couple days, and I was like, man, this is so crazy, this is so crazy. But then I start thinking, like, okay, what is really going on? Like, what is this world, this society that we really live in? Like, what is this? Like, what is this? And then you look at and you kind of understand what this is, and okay, what is the main thing that people are focused on in the world right now? Most people are focused on social media and they're like just trying to get money, right? So that means the people who have the most power are the people that A have the most influence or B have the most money. And then the people that have the most money and the most influence are able to structure the world in the way that they feel like the world needs to be structured. And I know it goes deeper and deeper and deeper, and we don't even have to get into all that, but I think it's just understanding that everything is fabricated, every story is like a truth that they're just trying to force down your throat. Everything that we see on the news is propagandized. Like in America, we hear something, then Iran, they hear something else, then China hears something, then Russia hears something. It's like a game of telephone, and we all don't really know, and we all just kind of don't know what's going on. But specifically in America, it seems like a lot of things that we get told are not to our greater advantage and not to the greater good of the people. It's to keep us dumb, it's to keep us controlled, it seems like, and it's to keep us like completely, um, I don't even know what the word is, completely like drugged out. Like just kind of like zombies, like not even necessarily drugged out, but like drugged out in a way where it's like, okay, we just kind of do what we're told, or we just believe everything. And it's a crazy realization that I have come to that a lot of things are fake, and a lot of things are not real. And then it can get even deeper in that because this is and the craziest part is like all this happens, and it's like how quick we get onto one subject and we get off of one subject. How quick we want to the Epstein files, then something else happens. And so much is going on, so much, and then it's like you think about what's going on in your life. Now you gotta think about that, but then you gotta think about Epstein, but then you gotta think about the war, but then you gotta think about gas prices, then you gotta think about um, you know what I mean? So is there so much going on that it's like you're just you don't know what to do. That's why, and this is an example that I think like this is America right now, because it's like we kind of are waking up to it, but it's like we still not doing anything about it, right? And I'm not saying go start a war and do all this, but it's just a scary thought that we can kind of just sit back and we still can't really do anything. It's like oh, the Epstein here, this and there, I have this guy, this guy, slap him, keep going. That we really still don't know. Like the fact that the CIA or FBI or whoever has files is ridiculous. Files that we don't know about is it it's mind-blowing to me because I feel like the job is to be able to capture criminals and be able to let us know what happened so we can prevent from that to ever happen again. But there's files that we don't even know about, some of the biggest things in the world 9-11, JFK, Hunamakana, blah blah blah blah blah blah, whatever we don't know what happened. Truthfully, like we don't, we don't, and it and it's a scary thing to just realize okay, the world that we live in, and um, and I think there's there's uh fear there. I think it's it's a just we're it's a distraction there. Like maybe we're just so far gone to the point of no return. But I have faith, right? I have faith in this world, I have faith in the people that not that we have to put together a revolt, but it's like at least wake up and understand like what's really going on. Maybe that there is some type of um power structure that is not probably conducive to the life that you want to live. Like, if we all we got all the humans together and we did a poll, I'm like, okay, what's the life that you want to live? If we got all the humans together and we just like, okay, what's the life that you want to live? I'd say you want money, probably, okay, you want a little bit of money, but even past that, you want a nice family. Um, you want to be able to spend time with that family, right? Not not working 90% of your life to only see them on the weekends, or only see them at night, or only take trips with them and have good experiences twice a year, right? I'm probably that's probably what we want, if I had to guess. Um you want to be able to build something and create and kind of do what you love, right? That that's what what I would think. And I think if those two things, you know I mean, and not because I think it it's just crazy because a lot we think about life, and a lot of us aren't living. A lot a lot of us aren't even living life, and then this power structure has put us in a position where we are we we don't even get to live life, right? Like we're all here, but we're not really living because we have so many things just put in the way of what life is. We have this school, then we have this job, then we have this drama, then we have this social, then we have this TV, all before all these distractions that people are monetizing off of, and that is taken away from the genuine human experience of life, of nature, of connectivity, and it's built up. And I think about this for myself, right? I'm not speaking from like a Buddha perspective where it's like I'm Buddha, I know everything because I'm out here trying to get money, right? I'm trying to have money because I understand that. Okay, if I don't need billions of dollars, but if I could get a glitch in the system and be able to create some residual income and be able to put some a little bit away and have recurring income revenue coming into me, and I don't have to do much, or I can do that within the realms of what I love to do, then you can escape. Right? It's easier to escape because I feel like we've already succumbed to like whatever America is at this point, whatever this like lifestyle is of living and eating and going out and the quality of life and things that I'm not able to give up. Right? But this is I'm saying all that to say this is what America is right now, and whoever Debo is, I don't know. But I'm just saying this is how the American people are right now, right? You could put your own Debo on and whoever it is, but this is how I feel like we are right now. That's whoever, whoever you want to put there.
SPEAKER_04Hey man, why y'all didn't help me? And I'm high. What about the time you tried to choke me and smoke back y'all? Yeah. Oh, that was different. Man, that's jumping.
SPEAKER_02But listen to what he says here.
SPEAKER_03Shut your ass down. Listen to what smokey about to say over Debo. He be like, shut the fuck up. I'll be quiet. But when he leaves, I'll be talking again.
SPEAKER_02Look, he said, I got my control over Debo. He tells me to shut up, I shut up. But when he leaves, I'm back talking again. Like, I feel like that's where that's the point that we're at right now. Where it's like we have we feel we have no control. It feels like we don't really have control. They can do whatever they want. And when they come around, it's oh and then when they leave, it's like, man, yo, you didn't see what happened in the Epstein Files, you didn't see what happened in this war in Iran. This is crazy. But we don't do nothing about it. And I'm not saying this to say do something about it. That's not what I'm saying. I'm just saying it's understand that we're not doing anything about it, or that we don't have the power to do anything about it, or that we are so far gone and we're so distracted and we're so controlled and we're so focused on things that don't really matter that we haven't done anything about it. Right? Because I'm I'm I'm I haven't done anything about it. I don't I don't plan to anytime soon. I if I'm being honest about it, but I just I enjoy talking about it and like talking about what the world really is and where we're really at as a society and where I'm at and where I can get to, because this is the unfazed podcast. Y'all see the lights, man. Y'all see the lights of the unfazed podcast, don't y'all? Don't you say the lights? Uh don't you see the lights? Uh flashing lights, lights, lights, uh. I forgot the next part. But um, y'all see the lights, man. So I'm just this is these thoughts going in my head, man. This I haven't done a solo episode in a while, so forgive me for the rant, but I have to get in here. But I say all this to say we see America, we see the the point, the state that we're at right now, and the war in Iran right now, but there's a bigger war going on. There's a bigger war going on than the war in Iran right now. There's a bigger war. There's a bigger war.
unknownThe
SPEAKER_02Biggest war. And it's the war of our mind. Did he say that? It's the war of our mind. Yes, I said it. It's the war of your mind. It's the war of his mind. It's the war of her mind. It's the war of our mind. We're the mind of our mind. We're at war with our mind. And what do I mean that? What do you mean by that phase? What do I mean by that? I mean every there's so much going on in the world. And we just touched on some of it. And you will allow that to drive you insane. You will allow that to distract you from what really matters. You will allow that to take control of your life and make you do something that doesn't need to be done. The war on your mind is the most important thing right now. Because I'm gonna be honest with you, life right now, life in itself can be hard. Life in itself is hard. Forget about everything going on in the world. Forget about it. And just take a second. I want no literally, literally, forget about every all the drama, the war, the gas, the this, the that, the this, and just take a second and look at your life for a second. Like where you're at versus where you want to be. Like just think about your life. Three more seconds. Come on. Right? And in that moment where you just thought about your life, and there's something that I've had a problem with. I think it was probably these past two weeks, is gratitude. And maybe you didn't, and maybe you had gratitude. In those five seconds, when you thought about your life, I hope you had some gratitude. You're like, man, I'm just thankful for my family, I'm thankful for food on my plate, I'm thankful for the breath in my lungs, the blood pump into my heart. Like, I'm so thankful because there's so much to be thankful for. But if in those five seconds you were like me and you thought about where you're at versus where you want to be, how you're not financially where you want to be, how you're not creatively where you want to be, how you're not, your relationships are not where they want to be. When you start comparing your follower count, your bank account, your savings, you know what it's not where you want it to be. And in that time when it's not where you want it to be, that's the war in your mind. How do you look at yourself? How do you think about yourself? Do you have gratitude? In this these past two weeks, I haven't had gratitude. I'm I'm just gonna be honest with you, I haven't had gratitude. I've been frustrated by my situation. And in those two weeks where I was frustrated by my situation, I was not taking action. I wasn't taking action. I was slothing, I was postponing, I was procrastinating. But one thing's gonna keep going. I I could procrastinate all the hell I want, but time's not gonna stop. Time's not stopping for nobody. Not Jeff, Jerry, Joe, Mary, Johnson. Like it's not stopping for nobody, and the seasons are gonna continue to change. You can't change the seasons, but you can change yourself. You can't change the seasons, but you can change yourself. When it's cold, you can put on a coat. In the winter, you just put on a coat and a scarf and a hat. When it's hot, you just put on a t-shirt and some shorts. You can adjust yourself to what is going on. You cannot control the season, but you can control how you step into each season. Because times are going to get tough. Times are tough. Now take a second and think about what's going on in the world. Because but if you want to believe it or not, and I might save this for another another pod, right? But if you want to believe it or not, this is a whole nother discussion. As much as we want to just do whatever we want to do in the world, the person in office right now is making decisions that can affect you, that are affecting you, that will affect you. Right? Like we believe, and I know I don't think it was Theo Vaughn or something. I might have shown on uh other podcasts, but we think about like what this life is, what this society is, and we just especially in America, we just think we got it good. And like, okay, yeah, war and all these things. It doesn't really happen here, and we just kind of live in good, and we and it we don't know it until it happens, right? Like we hadn't experienced anything like 9-11 until it happened. You don't know what a mass shooting feels like, you see it on the TV, and we've been like consumed by that. Like we just like desensitized to what that is, but you don't know what that's like until it happens, and it's happening right now. So, as much as, you know, I mean, we want to float around and do like this stuff, this is this is the life that we're living. This is the country that we live in, and this is the world that we live in, this is the galaxy that we live in, this is the life that we're living. So you can adjust yourself to what is going on. You can't control the season, but you control how you step into the season. And I say that to say, like, when I was in um when I was at Cornell, when we used to hit the weight room, there was this one thing that I always did when I squatted. I don't know who said it to me. Maybe it was the coach, maybe it was one of the players, but I noticed, like, if I put 225 on the rack and I was about to squat it, 315. 405, let me chill out. I did 405 one time, no. I I did no, yeah, I did 405 one time. Whatever four plates is, I did that for sure one time. Well, maybe it was 315. I don't know. Something around there. I'm strong now. Um, but when you get when you get under the rack, and all my athletes know this. When you get under the rack, and you got it, it's a lot of weight, it's a lot of weight there. 315, 405, and you get under the rack, you can't lightly get under rack, you can't get under the rack like this. No. You have to fight, you have to attack the rack, you have to attack that bar, you have to get under the I have to beat it off. That's because that first win is what's gonna get me through these squats. If I get under the lightly and I'm like, oh, it's heavy, uh I'm not gonna get through one, I'm gonna go, then I'm gonna fall down, I'm gonna die. You when I when I get and I'm gonna attack the rack, how I step into the season, how I step into all this that's going on in the world, I have to step into it with it, I have to attack it. I have to step into this life with gratitude. I have to step into this life knowing, hey, all this craziness is going on, but guess what? This is positivity all day, right here. And you know what? I'm gonna take care of my family, right? All this going in the world, okay. Yep, that's going on in the world, I know, but I'm gonna put myself in a place where I am the best possible person that I can be because I know it's crazy out here. I'm gonna attack every single day because I don't know how many I got left. I don't know how many my mom has left. I don't know how many my lady has left. I don't know how I don't know how much my son will have. Right? So I think that's what it is. So squatting heavyweight in college, you have to attack the bar. Because how you go into it matters. How we step into this war matters. Every single day is a battle of the mind. What am I focusing on? All this stuff going in the world, am I letting that consume me? Am I letting that consume me to the point where I'm not spending as much time and focusing on the things that matter and taking care of the things that matter and pushing my business further and posting on social media because I know building a brand is the new 2026. The brand is the money, the influence is the money. Am I doing that? Am I doing that? Because we at war with Iran, but the biggest war we had is with ourselves. How we get up every day. Because there's a lot of planners. I'm a planner, but I'm a doer. A lot of like done we're done planning. What do we want to do? Okay, we want to get rich. Okay, plan, boom, let's do it. Let's just fail. Let's just fail. Let's just fail. That's all we can do. Just go and do something, just don't do nothing. We we're not at a point right now where we can do nothing. We don't know how much time we have left. We cannot just do nothing. Everything is fake. This stuff is not real. The life that you live, like if you died and your last thing was I'm just on social media looking at somebody else's life and comparing myself to this person and saying, Oh, this person went on that trip. Oh, that doesn't matter. I don't care if you're in Japan, in a luxury hotel. I don't care if you're in Iran right now with missiles headed your way. I don't care if you're in an apartment in Dallas, Texas, filming a podcast that 20 people will listen to. You gotta be grateful. You gotta be grateful. Because when it's over, it's over. You have to you have to be grateful. Because when it's over, it's over. Like we don't, what is this? We don't know what this is, man. But like I said, I say all this to say I have faith, though. Through the times, through these two weeks, I didn't have gratitude. I was like, and I was trying to I'm grateful for this, I'm grateful for that, but my situation was tough. I felt like I'm not making enough sales, I'm not posting enough. But I got all this footage of things that I've done. I don't know if y'all seen the comedy. I'll put it right here. I'll link that in the thing. I did a comedy, but I was like, man, I have this comedy that I didn't even post it. People asking me, hey FaZe, I heard you like you into comedy. I haven't even posted, I just posted it. I made a thumbnail and I posted it. Just posted. Get it out my phone. Stop worrying about it. I got another video I'm gonna post on YouTube next week. Go follow my YouTube page. You know, we just have to do things, and a lot of times, because I would pray, right? And I think a lot of times my prayers to God was like to do better or to get through something, or for something to go away, like this pain or this feeling. A lot of times I would pray for this stuff to go away. But I remember I said this in a song, Stop Running. The famous quote from Spider-Man is what? Yeah, I'll let you say it first. With great power comes what? Okay, with great power comes great responsibility. So instead of praying for it to go away, we need to pray that we get stronger. Instead of praying for this pain to go away, this anxiety that I feel that I'm not doing enough for the sales that I'm not making, for the views to not go up. Why don't I just get better at speaking? Why don't I just post more? Why don't I just focus on how I speak? And maybe the sales will go up, and maybe the follower count will go up, and maybe I'll be able to speak better. And maybe this will allow me to touch more people. Translate that to your life. Take that, what I just said, with greater power comes great responsibility. A lot of us want these amazing lives, right? But great with great power comes great responsibility. You want that power, but you're praying for the pain to go away. We need to pray that we get stronger. And so when we carry that load, we just walking around with the load, and nobody even notices how heavy that load is until they put it on their back. Because we're walking around with it so good. My mom says this thing so well. She said, I don't look like what I've been through. I don't look like what I've been through. You wouldn't be able to tell what I'm going through because I walk around with it so nicely, so profoundly. Because God is not going to take this load off my shoulders. He's going to keep it there, but he's going to make my legs stronger so I can endure that pain. We need to endure that pain. I should be asking God for more pain because I want to be the man that can sit up in front of my family and say, Yes, I went through this so you didn't have to go through this. I went through this to give you the life that I want to give you. I went through this so my lady doesn't have to work. I went through this so my mom could get the care that she deserves. I went through this so my family could get to live. Not live, not live, not live, but live. Live. Right? So I'm not praying for it to go away. We need to pray to get stronger. We have to pray that we get so strong that the load is easier to carry. So now people look at us and they say, you make it look so easy. You make it look so easy. And I'm saying all of this as well because and I and I know some of it, I know like I know life can get tough. And you just work through, you work through, you work through. And I and and it's not not healthy though, sometimes. You know what I mean? You have to have fine times to take breaks, you have to find times to find gratitude in what it is that your life is, right? In the simple things, and the in the simple things. And I'm gonna play this video because this is what I'm talking about when I say the simple things, right?
SPEAKER_07Got hair in my lungs, I'm so lucky. I got shoes on my feet, I'm so lucky. Got a roof over my hair, I'm lucky. I got water and I drink, I'm so lucky. Got light in my eyes, I'm so lucky. I got love in my life, I'm so lucky. I got beet on my side, I'm so lucky, I'm so lucky, I'm so lucky. I do what I love every day. I always make a way out of nowhere in this life.
SPEAKER_02You give us I'm so lucky. Cause we all so lucky. We're so lucky to be here, man. And I and um this got me emotional. Right? This got me emotional because I wanna do because I want to do something about this, man. And I and I don't know, I don't I don't know Rondell Moore, never met him. Um, but I I I I was I was a fan of him when he was at Purdue, was somebody that I looked to and I was like, yeah, that guy, that guy's gonna make it, right? And I'm like, I I competed with him, right? And I was like, okay, I gotta be better than this guy. Okay, how can I be at Cornell University, Indiana State, and I and I put up better numbers than this guy. This was a guy around my class that I was like, okay, I have to be better than in the league. Took his life. Don't don't know exactly what happened, don't know what he was dealing with, but I I know there's there's he's not the only one that is carrying that load and think having those thoughts and feeling that pain. Because a lot of people say, Man, what are you doing? You was in the NFL, you had millions of dollars, or you don't first of all, you don't know that, right? And then second of all, this is a lot of people, man, that have these thoughts then that have these feelings, and that life gets tough for that season. So if you're not prepared to step into that season when it's cold, you gotta you gotta put a coat on. You gotta gotta put a coat on, man. So man, um rest in peace to Rondell Moore. And um, yeah, man, uh that that's the basis of this conversation, man. That's the biggest war right now. Forget the war in Iran for a second. There's a war on our minds right now that we that we need that we're fighting. There's a war on our minds that we are fighting right now. We have to step into that war with faith. We have to step into that war with gratitude. We have to step in, and you also have to step into that war ideally with like-minded individuals because you know who your true friends are. Spend more time with those true friends because they say you're the average of the five people that you hang around. Spend time with those true friends, talking to those, communicate, communicate. I can't get it out, communicating with those true friends, and that that's what I'm trying to do. But I'm I'm going to do something. I'm not saying about this, but um, I know there's a lot of people that feel this way, or that have feelings. Maybe I'm not sure about his situation, but I'm like that have feelings similar to maybe what he was feeling. Because I feel like I have had feelings like that. And um Yeah, gone, gone way too soon. But that's the easy way. Don't take the easy way out. AJ Brown said it. You know, we can't we can't take the easy way out. It's gonna be tough. It's gonna get tougher. And as soon as it gets a little easier, it's gonna get tougher. Just be prepared for the toughness, continue to grind, continue to fight, and especially when you don't get that. All the people that was out there that didn't make it, right? That didn't make it to the NFL, that are playing in these other leagues, and they're now trying to figure out life. I know it's tough. I know it's tough. But come here to the Unfaced Podcast, we're gonna talk about it. We're gonna talk about it. And yeah, we're gonna talk about it, man. And last thing, man, I wanted to say, um, in in this world of craziness, I I just wanted to talk about this, man, because like I said, this is um this is theater. I'm not gonna say it's theater, but it it it it's just crazy the world we live in, and um there's so much going on in the world. So much going on in the world right now, and there's a lot of positive in the world as well. So don't get caught up in the news and everything, because it's just gonna show you what all the negativity. You know what I mean? And it'll and I if you if you're in such a world where it's like there's so much negativity, you're gonna watch the news and probably only see the negative. They probably will do a cute story on there about dogs, or about this dog shelter, or about this kid that graduated in five years earlier than he did and got a 75 on his ACT. It's gonna be those stories, but we're gonna miss those stories because so much other stuff is going on. Cause gas is so much higher, man. Um And I was gonna play this one video, but I'm not even gonna play this video. I'm just gonna go straight to the congratulations because I don't feel like, you know what I mean, I need to talk down on anybody. Um I'm gonna restart it. I'm gonna restart it again, sorry.
SPEAKER_00The act of those two. You are shiny hair on the Michael B. Jordan.
SPEAKER_05Jump in that watch this.
SPEAKER_07It's your turn.
SPEAKER_06I'm gonna myself for the screen on the wheel.
SPEAKER_02What's gonna be? So yeah, man, I'm gonna end on that, man. Shout out to Michael B. Jordan, best actor. I think um, you know, on some some positivity, right? Um that that's huge, man. I know a lot of people are saying like we watched him grow up. Um, I wasn't too familiar with his early stuff, like when he was a kid. Um, I seen Fruville Station, amazing movie. Him and Ryan Kugler have been doing it for so long now. Definitely inspiration to me for somebody that wants to get into the acting world. But I think inspirational all, man, it's just like work. And I I I want to show a video of him on a pod the podcast talking, but um I'm I might show it. But he just talks about like his work ethic and just working. Um but just just work, man. And it's like um that that that's what life is. I think that I I but I do believe that that's what life is. You just have to whatever that thing is that you do, just man, just do it and and but enjoy it. You know what I mean? It has to be something you enjoy. Um I I'm I'm a big believer and this is a short time of life. Enjoy it, whatever that is. If you want to be the greatest partier, by all means, if that's what you're dedicated to, go party and be the greatest partier. Do something. I don't think anybody scrolls on social media and says, I want to be the best social media scroller ever. No. But we do it, right? Right? We do it. I want to be the most jealous person in the world. But we do it. We continue to compare. So what is that? What is that for you? I'm trying to figure out what that is for me. But then once you do, or you think you do, go and do it. Right? That's what I'm trying to do. I'm gonna see. Um, he has a bunch of videos on here about work, but I'm I'm I'm gonna pick one and do it.
SPEAKER_01Man, I'm built different, period. And I I've always had an eye, uh, uh, a discipline and a work ethic that I've had at a young age that I just kinda I just apply it to everything that I that I want to do. If I'm eating food, I'll save the best for last. You know what I'm saying? I'll eat around it to the one part that I really want for I wanna eat. I'm all right, I'm gonna save that. I'm like a I'm gonna delay, you know what I'm saying, gratification. I'm that type of person. So like I'm literally like, alright, I will party later. I work hard now, so the second half of my life, I can do whatever the fuck I want. That's that's that's been my mentality. It's like I'm not gonna trick off my early years for partying and then worry about struggling, how I'm gonna make it, how I'm gonna take care of my family, how I'm gonna take care of everybody else. Like, that's not gonna be me. I'm gonna grind it out now. You know what I'm saying? I'm gonna set up the foundation so I can enjoy myself later. That's always been my mentality. And I and that is what that works for me.
unknownAnd I'm built different. Period.
SPEAKER_02And I've always at the end, what he says that that's what just works for me. Find what works for you. Stay unfazed. We out of here.
SPEAKER_08I'm on face, I'm on face, Jeff.
