0:00 | 28:23

In this episode, we start with the viral Druski skit that has everybody talking—was it just comedy, or did he actually say more than people are ready to admit?

Then we shift gears into something deeper: the recent “No Kings” protests and what they reveal about the current state of American society. There’s a growing tension in the culture right now, and whether you’re paying attention or not, it’s affecting how people think, move, and build their lives.

This episode isn’t just about reacting—it’s about understanding.

If you’re someone in a transition phase… trying to level up, break out of old patterns, and build something bigger for yourself, this conversation is for you. Because the truth is, the system isn’t perfect—and waiting for it to be will keep you stuck.

At the end of the day, this is about perspective, discipline, and execution. You might not control the system—but you do control how you operate within it.

Stay Unphazed.

SPEAKER_01

Unfazed family, we back at it again. Hey, we got a good one for you today. Um, I I do have to apologize just for some of the things that I said on the last episode. We're gonna get into that. Um, Drewski did it again, and he did it again, and he did it again. So we're gonna have to get into that as well. But a lot coming up on Unfazed Podcast. Let's do it.

SPEAKER_04

I'm on face, dear my face, I'm on face, dead my face. I'm on face Jeff on my face. I'm on face, Jeff, fitness take this, paper my face.

SPEAKER_01

We back and we back and we back and we back. Okay, let's do it, man. We got a lot to talk about, man. I'm so happy to be back with you guys. Um, Drewski broke the internet with this one, and it's it, I think it's hilarious to me just what just watching Drewski because you can see, like, I think he was on some interview and he was talking about like where it all started with just him and his phone and his mom's backyard or whatever, and he was just recording, he was making these skits, and how this has become like the new age of comedy, and it it's hilarious. And this new skit that he did kind of touches on some. I'm gonna not gonna say it touches on some things that I was talking about in the last episode, but I just think I just think it's funny because I think there is a general population of people who think the same thing or see the same things and think the same way, but we don't really say it. So it's amazing when you see comedians or just what comedy is. The space of comedy isn't so beautiful because these people just say the things that we think, but the society has told us that, oh no, you can't say that, that's rude, or you can't say that that's uh you it's gonna offend somebody. That's offensive, you know. So I want to play this sketch that Drewski did. I think it was hilarious. And what was the title? It says, How conservative women in America act. Okay, let's hear it.

SPEAKER_02

We're praying, we're praying for all the soldiers and troops. That's great that you're praying.

SPEAKER_03

How about all the kids that died when the USA hit the town? It broke my heart. That is the oh my god.

SPEAKER_01

Why did he go full white girl?

SPEAKER_03

White chicks serve a righteous God. And that is why we say our prayers.

SPEAKER_02

We are all his children. But when I say children, I mean like the holy blessed trinity, which is why I hold the Bible.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, pause it. This motion right here throws me. This you see the meme the meme next to with the head down with this, that is hilarious. But I think just watching that, and we know he's talking about Erica Kirk, so it's like we know what's going on. I think um if you could look up the response, because I think she responded, and it was it was something funny that she said. She was like, if I did this, I would get canceled, or whatever it is. Yeah, let me see. Just go to images and click on one of those. Yeah, that one. Can you read that? No, that one's a blurry. Go to a different one because I can't even read that. But why are you finding it? He was like, if I did this, I would get cancelled, blah blah. And everyone's going back and forth. Is it okay to do white face and instead of blackface and all this stuff? And I I don't know that that that's a that's a tough one, honestly.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, there's one here she says, but if I did blackface as part of this kit, I'd be canceled and called a racist.

SPEAKER_01

And I don't think because I think if you did it, it wouldn't be funny. Like, I don't think you can put it into the comedic form that he did. And I think there's like a re there's a I don't know. I think it's one of those things where it's a double, I feel like it's a du seems like a double standard, doesn't it? It kind of seems like a double standard, but it's it's hilarious. Like, if there was a comedian that did blackface to make fun of Drewski or make fun of somebody, I don't think I would be upset about that. If you make put on blackface and you're just running around saying an N-word and you're just doing it just to be uh, you know, an asshole, that's one thing. But the other thing is like if you're just pure comedy and fun, like I think it's funny, and I think we need to stop being sensitive about that. Um, so yeah, I disagree with her on that one. And I think it's funny because this is what the main thing I don't think she realizes, this is what everyone thinks of her, and this is what we are looking at you, and like, okay, this is weird. Like, I understand Charlie Kirk, I understand the situation. I under like, yes, but you're you're weird, it just seems like you're a little weird, and um, yeah. So, Drusky, you you did it again with this one, you did it again, but I wanted to apologize, right? Because I said some things in the last episode, right? That I wanted to talk about. Can you go back to the last episode that I did? I did some things, and after because these I do these in like the spurt spurt of the moment, right? So it's like everything that I say, it's coming off top, it's like the motivation, whatever I'm saying. So I want to apologize about this specific thing right here. Go to go ahead and play that one. They come around, it's oh, and then when they leave, it's like, man, yo, you didn't see what happened in the Epstein Files, you didn't see what happened in this war in Iran. This is crazy. But we don't do nothing about it. And I'm not saying this to say do something about it. That's not what I'm saying. I'm just saying it it's understand that we're not doing anything about it, or that we don't have the power to do anything about it, or that we are so far gone and we're so distracted, and we're so controlled, and we're so focused on things that don't really matter that we haven't done anything about it. So I want to apologize for that, you know? Um, because going back to the first thing that I was talking about, I was saying that nobody, like, we're not doing anything about it, or like there's like nothing's going on, like we're not, and I think I was just upset because it didn't feel like it. I don't know, it was a lot of not even pressure, but it just feels like scary to live in a world where we have no control. I feel like a lot of people like you get anxiety just like if you're in a claustrophobic, you're in a tight room where you can't move, or you can't do anything, you're in control, you're not in control. That's how I feel a lot of times. You know, I mean, that's how I've been getting to feel when I start to understand, okay, what this world is, what this society really is. And I want to apologize. Because this weekend, March 28th, I don't even know. I didn't see any, I didn't see any posters, I didn't see any. I'm not really on Instagram like that, but I didn't see any Instagram post, but the people showed up and they showed out. Go to the the Facebook post. This was I think it was March 28th. The people showed up, and the people showed out. So I was saying we're not doing anything about like we're not doing no, we did something about it. And I I just look at this, man. Look at this. This is this is amazing to be able to be in a country, you know. I mean, where and and this is like there's so many people that I know feel this way. This is why I'm talking about it. Because I could say this a million times. This is not a politics podcast. I'm not a political person, I have no um want to be the mayor or do anything like that, but like I feel something, and I know a lot of people feel something, and they obviously do. This was the 28th was when a couple days ago, this Saturday, but people were out there, and there was one place that they said, um, what was the place? I don't know if you could pull that one up. It was like they spelt out something, and it was like on the beach or something. But yeah, so so I apologize because I'm not I'm just not in the loop, right? You could we're we're doing something. I know a lot of people feel this way, especially about like what's going on in office right now, man. It's it's not it's not cool what's happening, and um, yes, right here, people come together to create human banner for no kings protest. Like, come on, man. Like, salute, man. This this is this is just beautiful to see. Beautiful to see that we're we're coming together as a people, and and we have to realize that when we talk about the American society, like the American society is the American society because of Americans. Like, it's not the American society because of the government, the government is there to serve the people. So we are tired because we feel like, hey, as we every way we turn, every street we go down, every advertisement we see, every show that we watch, every conversation we have, every food that we medicine that we put in our body, every activity that we do seems like there's some sort of agenda behind it that is not serving the greater good of the people. And that's what I was saying on the last episode. But I apologize because there are people doing stuff about it, and I'm not in this bubble where I just feel this way. A lot of people feel this way. We we see it. We we see the people, and I'm like, I'm just kind of mad. I'm like, I didn't get the invite. Like, ain't nobody hit my DMs like, hey FaZe, we pulling up to, you know, I mean, I didn't even know if they did it in Dallas, but they did it in Chicago. Like, y'all supposed to let me know. I probably wouldn't have pulled up, you know, because I'm scared of big crowds and stuff nowadays. I don't know. You know, I mean, it gets scary, you know. I mean, I don't know what's gonna happen, but um, yeah, kudos to everything that's going on there, man. But um, I was just playing about the apology. I don't want to apologize for anything because this is my show, and um, this is some of the feelings that I have, but yeah, man, I love to see that people are doing something about it. That was so powerful to see, man. Um, go to the other one. It's the other, there was another Instagram post. Oh, so when we were talking about the idea of like kind of what America is and how we feel as a society, I think this guy, um B, what's his handle?

SPEAKER_05

BJ Cavillo.

SPEAKER_01

BJ Cavillo. Um, he had this video up here and and it popped up, and I was like, oh my god, he hit this on the head about just like where we're at as a society, as Americans, and kind of like, we want to do something. This is what I was talking about in the last episode. Like, we want to do something, but it's like, oh, we got this show or we got this job and we got this thing, and it's like they set it up, so it's like we're can't do anything about it, but let's he did it way better than I could have said it. So let's play this video.

SPEAKER_06

Wow, man, things are pretty crazy. I know the world is totally being run by literal demons. Yeah, wow, man. Things are pretty crazy. I know the world is a total dystopia being run by literal demons. Yeah, I know. It's awful. Anyways, I've been watching this new show that I am totally obsessed with. You have to check it out. Wait, what? The new show I've been watching, I can't remember what it's on. No, I mean, what about what we were talking about before? About how messed up everything is? Oh, yeah. I mean, it's terrible, but what am I gonna do about it? You see, your friend has the right mentality. What are you gonna do about it? You know? Well, I mean, what if we don't pay our taxes? Nah, can't do that. We will throw you in jail. You'll throw us in jail. Yeah, I know. Ironic, right? Come on, man, listen to what he's saying. We should form a revolution or something. Yeah, what time would you want to do that? Because I work from 9 to 6, then I have to run errands, then I go to the gym. Okay. And by the time I get home, it's around 11 o'clock, which is usually when I go to bed to wake up and do it all over again. Yeah, it doesn't seem like he'll have time for a revolution, which means everything's going according to plan.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, stop it. Well, yeah, that's but that that's it. And and go follow him, watch his videos, because I'm like, I think he does a lot more stuff like that. But the society, like, we're so distracted and not focused on. I am so distracted and not focused on like what needs to be done, but I've been trying to have more gratitude and trying to figure out okay, what in this life, okay, what is it that really matters? Because is it money? Had a great conversation with um somebody you're gonna see his episode next week, but had a great conversation with um another entrepreneur, and he was just telling we were talking about like does the money really matter? I was chasing the NFL and I felt like I was a million, I was gonna be a millionaire that I was already taken care of in that way, so I felt so good. But when that didn't happen, it was this pressure, it was this shame, it was this embarrassment, and I'm like, man, wait, but I'm broke. What do I do? What's next? And we went through all these years of school to get taught what we went through preschool, elementary school, middle school, high school, college, grad school, postgrad, PhD, like for what to do what? To learn what? Why are we not learning the basic things? Why are we not learning the rules to be successful in life? Why are we having to go into$100,000,$40,000,$50,000 of debt to then say, oh, okay, I figure it out. But in a lot of times, when you do figure it out, it's too late. It's too late. Once you get that$50,000, you don't have no plan, you're so far gone, you got to get a job that's paying you$60,000. So now you're making the minimum payments on your credit cards and all this student loan debt, and you're stuck. So it's it's mind-blowing to me that we we live in a society that is doing that, and this and this goes so much further than Trump, right? Like I think everyone's so, oh, I hate Trump, I hate Trump. And yeah, have your feelings about Trump and what he's doing in the office now. But one thing, a conversation that I have is like this has been going on for a while. This isn't just Trump, right? And I think Trump has brought it out and shown like a bit brought a bigger divide to the country. But man, this plan is not just happening within these eight years that didn't, well, I guess it's five years, almost four and a half years that this guy has been in office. Like it's been here. It was here when Barack was here. And I don't know, so correct me if I'm wrong. Hit me in the comments. Let me know if I'm wrong. Hit me on the whatever, let me know if I'm wrong. But this is what it feels like. This is something that's been here for such a long time, and something that we're dealing with. So, what have I been doing to try to understand that is understand that okay, yes, there is a problem here, and I'm not gonna let this problem deter me from living life. I'm not gonna let this problem stop me from enjoying time with my family. I'm not gonna let the money aspect stress me out so much that I'm trying to do whatever it takes to get to that money. You know what I mean? Because that's where it gets bad. Now you're selling your soul to get to the money because you think the money is gonna solve the problem. The money's not gonna solve the problem because the problem was manufactured by people to make you think that, hey, that is what you need to live life. That is what life is when it's really not. You know what I mean? You have to have gratitude for what you have, the breath in your lungs, the family that you have with you, the people that are around you, and your passion, right? Your passion. What is your passion? What is that thing that you do? And I know it's tough because we all have jobs, we all have to work, you have to put some food on the table, you have debt, you have this thing, but you have to don't let that and it's so hard to say because I'm in it and I'm living it and I've been through it, right? It's so hard to say, but you can't let that money and that pressure and everything suffocate you. You have to realize that it's not real. Outside of the taxes, you gotta pay your taxes because they will they will send your ass to jail. They will. Dale Wesley snipes your ass real quick. And watch this other uh this other Instagram post I was on here that this guy said, Brian Lubin. Y'all probably know him, he's he's huge on um Instagram, I think, but I like a lot of his stuff, man. I love to have him on the podcast, but um, he was just talking about some uncomfortable truths, and this is for my transitional achievers, right? We're living in a world where it's tougher. Excuse me, a lot of stuff is more expensive, a lot of stuff is like it's harder to do, it's harder to own, it's harder to make ends meet, it's harder to uh start a business from scrap, you know. I mean, so a lot of this stuff is not to our advantage, right? But we have to understand that, and that doesn't mean just don't do it, that doesn't mean ah, yeah, it's too tough. I'm gonna complain, I'm gonna just get a job and I'm gonna do this. No, you just probably have to go harder. You probably have to go harder, but there is there are things in this world that the people back then didn't have to allow them to get to the point that we want to get to. And I'm gonna break that down in a second. So he said, uncomfortable truth. If your parents made$70,000 in 2005, that same life cost$114,000 today. Salaries haven't kept up with the price of everything else. Here are 17 more. Okay, go to the next one. 30% of Americans will work until they die. 30% of Americans will work until they die. I don't know if I'm if I'm creating, like, I guess I'm biased, right? If I'm creating a Wakanda, if I'm creating a utopia, you know, I mean, people aren't. I don't know, that's a tough one. People aren't working until they die. It's hard to say that because you need employees, you need these things, but man, and that that's a tough situation. That 30% of Americans are working our entire lives. The older people that are older, they don't have the money to retire. Now we're they're at risk of their social security, disability, and all these things getting cut as well. So it's making it even tougher. Banks will loan an 18-year-old$200,000 for college, but deny them for a$20K loan to start a business. Banks will loan an 18-year-old$200,000 for college, but deny them for a 20k loan to start a business. Wow, that's ridiculous. The average American spends more money on rent than on food, health care, and clothes combined. Next one. A two-hour daily commute is 500 hours of unpaid labor per year. The education system was designed to produce workers, not thinkers. That's a big one. Education system was designed to produce workers, not thinkers. I think that's a big one. Because we talk about all this school that we just went through, and then it's not shaping us to go out and do what we love. Because I know, and you we hear the stories about this, we see the movies about it, we see the biggest stars about it. But I'm sure, like, when you were writing, okay, what do you want to be when you grow up? There was always that kid that wrote something, and the teacher would scoff. The teacher, like, come on, okay, try it again, write something else. And sometimes you had the teachers that were supportive of you, but they were kind of like, uh, you know, but it that's the toughest part because you're so young and you lose that, and they just beat that out of you with all this algebra and chemistry and all this. Not saying this stuff is not important, but they just beat it out of you time after time again until you are working in a cubicle selling um life insurance, life insurance, or you're selling something, whatever it is, right? Or you're so it's just it's a crazy realization to see because now when you look at that work backwards, okay, if the education system is producing workers, do you want to be a worker or do you want to be a thinker? Do you want to think out of the box? What is it that you love to do? And a lot of people that I'm talking to on here are like entrepreneurs or you're entrepreneurial spirited, where it's like you want to break out of this matrix or this system, you don't want to work forever, you want to retire in your 30s, you want to be able to travel the world. So, how can we break out of this system and do that? And I know Ginger, me and you talk about it all the time, right? Where it's like we could just pick up and go to Thailand or go to Bali now and live there. But at the same time, it's like, man, we have a lot of we have roots here, we have people here, we have family here, we have a life here. So I think that's the toughest thing that we're dealing with as a people. And I think for me, it's just like I want to be able to create something sustainable here that can allow me to leave and still have something here and be able to take care of my people here and still be able to leave and still be able to travel. But how do you do that? You have to understand this stuff first. If you don't understand it, you're just another cog in the machine. They're just gonna keep moving, you just gonna keep working. You have to have a plan. I talk about that all the time. Okay, go to the next one. Is there another one? Gen Z has less purchasing power. 28% of jobs are at risk of being replaced by AI. Buying a home, that's the one. Buying a home in 2026 is eight times harder than it was for baby boomers. Buying a home is eight times harder. That's ridiculous. You just look at housing prices and prices and you look at all of this stuff, and it's crazy because I see a lot of stuff, and it's like when you see it, I feel like it's too late. But I seen Warren Buffett and I seen all these guys talking about the market is gonna crash, like it's building up like to around where 2008 was, and you gotta prepare. So I'm locked in. Like I'm trying to stack as much as I can at this moment. Like I told you, I just got a job. Um, I'm selling, I'm I'm I'm working hard, trying to see what I can make out of that job, got some consistent income coming in because I think that is important because I told you on that episode that I had with LJ, my relationship with money was so bad. Make some, all right, wait, go back, make some again. Okay, don't make none for a while, use all that, that goes to zero. Okay, start. It was it was bad. Having to go door dash and do all just trying to do it it's bad and it's tough. And you have to do what you have to do 100%. But I do think it's it's tough not having something consistent. I think that consistency is definitely helpful, but don't let that comfortability be the thing that just keeps you there just because that consistent paycheck. Still chase after your dream, still build a life of freedom. Don't let the system just say, okay, this is what you do for the rest of your life because they they don't care about any job or whatever.

SPEAKER_00

As much as they want to say they care about you, oh yeah, we're gonna give you this 401k, this good retirement plan. Um, we're gonna give you um benefits, good benefits, healthcare for your family, and we're gonna be able to take care of your family, and then hey, you could put your mom on your health care plan, and you can do that. And then if you want to build up um a nice little home, we're gonna get you enough money so you can buy a home and you get that 3%, and then you put a down payment down, and then your boss maybe get a promotion. Then you get that promotion, guess what? You're gonna make$5,000 more dollars that year, and then guess what? They're gonna match that 401k, and instead of 3%, you get a 5% match, and we're gonna give you that, and then you have a Roth IRA option too, and you have a healthy health savings account, you put the money in a health savings account, and guess how much you need to go, and then when you're you have a family, and then they could put them on a health savings account, and you wait 60 years and you're a man like it's it's it's it's crazy.

SPEAKER_01

It's I don't know, it's it's ridiculous, man. But um, I think the the main thing is you have to find it find what it is that you love and don't be scared to go do it. I said this 20 times yesterday when I was um doing uh the interview with the other um guy that you guys are gonna see next week. But I said, I am so inspired by you because you are doing the thing. I need to be around people that are doing the thing, like whatever that thing is, like it makes you happy. I just did sketch. Um I put up the picture. Um I think I yeah, I just emailed it to you, I think. Of Snoop Dogg. I just did a sketch show last week, and it's like I joined the sketch team, and I was Snoop Dogg, Snoop Dogg, me and me and Martha, me and Martha came Martha pulled up. I did a sketch show. Um, Snoop Dogg Martha Stewart, man. Um Snoop Bunny, I was Snoop Bunny, Snoop B-U-N-N-Y, faux chizzle, you know, West Side, and I can't put my fingers like that, so I gotta do it beforehand and just walk in there like that because I can't just get it there. But no, it was good, man. So I'm just doing the thing. I don't know what this is gonna turn into, but it's fun and I enjoy it. And do I miss football? Um no. If I'm being honest, I love football, but um I I'm I'm very happy with where I'm at right now. And does that mean I'm not gonna play? If I could if I when I once I touch a football, if somebody threw me a football right now, I'm gonna just make love to the football. I just it's something about that leather that just when it touches my hands, you can't. I don't, y'all, y'all know what I do, y'all know what I do, man. But just find what that thing is that you love, man. I've been doing that, and what else I've been doing? Yeah, I want to do some more comedy and stuff like that. But just do the thing. I know the world can get tough, I know there's so many things. I don't want to get on here and I'm gonna say, oh, Trump this, Epstein that, the world this, society this, the matrix that, but at the end of the day, we just have to find joy in it. And and as funny as that video was where it's like all this crazy stuff is going on, but this show just they just dropped a new episode on Love is Blind. Like Love is Blind just dropped. Did you see the reunion? No, did you forget Epstein for a second? Did you see the reunion? Did you he was like it's fun though, like I love that. That's the thing I'm saying. Like, I enjoy that, so you have to have some enjoyment in your life, but just don't there. There's somebody said this to me, but it's um in moderation, that's the word. Like, do things and like don't get sucked into just one whole thing of this society, this matrix, this TV that are not bad for you. Do things that you enjoy, but also what is that thing that's gonna keep you excited? What is the who are the people that are gonna keep you? That's important. What is the thing that's gonna keep you excited? Who are the people that are gonna keep you excited? And what are you doing it for? What's your why? Man, um, are they do I have did I have any other videos or anything pulled up? No, I'm not gonna do that one with anything else. Yeah, so I appreciate you guys, man. Um stay. Unphase, we out of here. Let's go.
