Annalisa Barbieri is a British journalist, columnist, and podcaster best known for her long-running Guardian Saturday magazine advice column, where she offers thoughtful, compassionate responses to readers’ personal dilemmas. Known for her warmth, wit, and insight, Barbieri’s writing explores the complexities of family life, relationships, and emotional wellbeing with honesty and humanity.

Alongside her advice work, she was for many years the Observer’s “Chocolate Correspondent,” writing engagingly about the craft, ethics, and culture of chocolate.
