Women In... Episode 52: Clarence Lloyd - Interracial relationships + other topics you're not supposed to talk about
Clarence Lloyd is a Vice President with Southwest Michigan First and serves as the Director of the Chamber of Commerce, covering all greater Kalamazoo County. His business and community leadership spans nearly three decades where he has excelled in repairing underperforming teams, building new ones, and providing servant leadership for companies ranging from five employees to Fortune 50. During this time, Clarence also began to connect his experiences and observations growing up in the city of Detroit with his desire to foster authentic connections across the divides of sex, race, and socioeconomics, a passion that still drives him today.
Clarence moved to Kalamazoo to attend Western Michigan University and is now a proud Bronco alum. He and his wife of nearly 20 years have three boys, ages 17-23. He also enjoys having conversations about the stuff you’re not supposed to talk about with friends and co-workers, playing music trivia games, and cheering on his Detroit Lions.
