Women In... Bonus Episode: Kerry Keefer Fischer - From no college degree to successful real estate empire - one empowered woman's true life story

I was born and raised in Battle Creek Michigan; however, I have lived my entire adult life around Kalamazoo, Portage and Mattawan. I love to be active - doing just about anything; fitness, travel, real estate & activities around church! I am married and have one daughter, currently residing and working as a Chiropractor in Chicago.  In my 20s, I worked for Pharmacia & Upjohn (now Pfizer) in Kalamazoo as a Project Coordinator until my position was transferred out of state, then chose to go after my passion in health and fitness and served as the General Manager for a local fitness club (where I met Toni).  

Then in 2007, my best friend of over 30 years and I started our own company where we buy and sell investment properties. Our strategy has been lease options, flips, and rentals (long and short term) of both single-unit and multi-unit properties (today we have over 40 rental doors). Exposure to the world of real estate made me realize this is where my passion lay. With extensive experience in business management, marketing and selling; and with my love of real estate; becoming a Realtor in 2011 (at the age of 38) was a natural career choice and way of life for me.  In 2017, I started a Real Estate Team, to ensure I could keep up with the changing demands in our market place and went on to acquire my Associate Broker's license.
