Jonathan LeSuer (00:00)
All right, guys. Welcome back to another episode of the Filmian Podcast. I'm Injector Jon.

Fill Me In (00:05)
I'm aesthetic nurse Nicole.

Jonathan LeSuer (00:06)
And this is

where we dive deep into the world of aesthetics. We have a special, special guest today, Farrah Gooch. Hello. How are you? And for those of you that don't know who Farrah is, she is the Aesthetic Social Club on Instagram, right?

Farah (00:13)
Hello, thank you for having me. I'm so happy to be here and hang out with you guys today. I'm amazing.

Fill Me In (00:15)
Yes!

Farah (00:23)
Yeah, that is it. Aesthetic Social Club underscore. Yeah. Yes. Thank you so much. know, I've seen some of my templates on your page. So there we go. I love that. Love her. God bless her. You're like, wow, I didn't even know. That's amazing.

Fill Me In (00:23)
Very popular.

Jonathan LeSuer (00:26)
I love it. Snap, snap. Yes.

Fill Me In (00:27)
Yes, y'all good, yes. I have a new social media girl, so she must use you. I love that. Yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (00:34)
I love it!

I love it. So, well,

I feel like I've seen you on socials. mean, I've been in aesthetics now for six years, but I've seen you like probably over the last four years, just like in the background following or liking stuff or commenting. And I'm like, who is this person? So yeah. So like tell us about you and like how you got started and like where you are now.

Fill Me In (00:51)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (00:56)
Hahaha

Fill Me In (00:59)
Yeah

Farah (00:59)
I love that.

Yeah, well first of all, thank you so much for having me. I feel honored to be here with you guys. Like the fact that I'm even on a podcast. I'm like, what? my husband I'm on a legit podcast. I said, no, look, it's legit. ⁓ Because I don't think he understood.

Fill Me In (01:08)
yeah, of course.

Jonathan LeSuer (01:13)
you're so cute. I love it ⁓

Fill Me In (01:21)
This great.

Farah (01:23)
But oh my gosh a little bit about me. Okay, so Oh, wow, where do we even begin? I'm a registered nurse So it's funny because I always laugh that I went into nursing to I went and got my nursing degree to get into marketing which is so funny But I know you guys understand that because you're both nurse practitioners, right? Oh my gosh. So yeah, I actually I waitress most my life, but I always had a creative side I always love social media. That's just something that was always a part of me, know, just I have

Jonathan LeSuer (01:37)
Yeah.

Fill Me In (01:40)
yes.

Jonathan LeSuer (01:41)
Yes, yes.

Fill Me In (01:46)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (01:51)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (01:53)
I love I'm a creative person. You know, I doubled I always doubled in a lot of things but yeah, and so

Jonathan LeSuer (01:55)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Some of the most creative people

are people with ADHD. Yes. You guys are secret weapons.

Farah (02:01)
Literally, I researched that because I was like I need to know more about this and it made me feel so much better.

Fill Me In (02:05)
Yeah,

Farah (02:08)
We really are. I mean look what I've created. So here we go.

Jonathan LeSuer (02:12)
Yeah.

Farah (02:12)
But yeah, so when I was 26 I went back to get my nursing degree because I was like I need to do more of my life than waitress. So that's where it began. Okay, so I worked in Med Search, which I don't know if you guys worked in Med Search before.

Jonathan LeSuer (02:19)
Okay.

Same girl.

Fill Me In (02:27)
yes.

Yes. ⁓

Jonathan LeSuer (02:28)
Yes.

Farah (02:29)
But I was miserable, okay? I was miserable. And

on the side, I always did, like always did social media in the background. Like I helped my husband with social media. He's what you would call a fitness influencer. He would hate that term, but I helped him kind of blow up on Instagram. He does fitness things. And that's kind of where it stemmed to where I was like really got into it and was like, okay, I love this. And I wanted to do more of that, but I didn't have any clue of how I would do it besides just like creating content for my personal page, you know? But.

Fill Me In (02:39)
Mm-hmm. Okay.

Farah (02:59)
Yeah, I worked as a nurse for about two years and I was miserable. I was like, I so miserable. I was like crying on the way there, crying on the way home. And I was like, this is, I don't think this is for me because you don't really understand what you're getting yourself into when you work medsurg. You know, if you're doing like a niche, highly recommend, but bless those who are on medsurg, you know, so.

Jonathan LeSuer (03:05)
Mm-hmm.

Fill Me In (03:07)
Yeah

Jonathan LeSuer (03:08)
Yep.

Fill Me In (03:19)
Mm-hmm. It is a lot, yes.

Jonathan LeSuer (03:22)
Yeah, well, it's

the armpit. It's the armpit of the hospital. You're getting everything.

Farah (03:25)
It is.

And they say you have to do it, but I'm like, you have to do it? The armpit? ⁓ my gosh. Okay, okay. You're not crying every day? Okay. In the cold and the 20 degree weather?

Fill Me In (03:27)
That's what they call New Jersey. The armpit of the states. We're great. Jersey's great. I love New Jersey. ⁓ No, no, no. I love it here. ⁓ Now when I work MedSurg,

Jonathan LeSuer (03:29)
Ugh.

Oh my God. Yeah, I mean.

Yeah. Yes.

Fill Me In (03:46)
yes. We'll understand,

Farah (03:47)
Yes, okay, so you you totally get it know a lot of people that are listening to this podcast Totally have been there and might be in there in that in that position

right now and being like how can I get out of this? So Yeah, they really are

Jonathan LeSuer (03:56)
and they're doing like part-time aesthetics, like on the side and they're like, how do I get, you know?

Fill Me In (03:58)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (04:01)
Actually a lot of some of my members have said that to me they're like I'm doing Part-time aesthetics on side and this is really helping me while I'm trying to get out of the hospital and like girl keep on going you got this You got this but yeah So my husband was working in med cells at the time and I was like that sounds like a bit of me because ADHD I wanted I was like I I'm like, okay, this is I'm enjoying this right now Let me let me see what else I could do, you know, but hilarious. So I happen to Start working for a Fetona lasers. Okay, so Fetona

Fill Me In (04:09)
Yeah. You got this.

Jonathan LeSuer (04:11)
Yeah.

Fill Me In (04:19)
you

Bounce around.

Jonathan LeSuer (04:31)
yeah, Fatona.

Fill Me In (04:31)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (04:31)
Yeah, yeah.

Farah (04:32)
Yes, so they they liked that I was a nurse I didn't have a lot of sales experience, but I was like, okay Let's do this and that is how I got into aesthetics. So that is what started me and aesthetics Yep, and I worked for Fitton with probably a couple years two and a half years and while I was working for tona I well I started an Instagram page for Fitton like just to sell the lasers and stuff and That did pretty well because like I said, I've always loved social media. So I always knew kind of how to do it and I had a

Fill Me In (04:41)
would open the door,

Mm-hmm.

Farah (05:01)
lot of the meds that followed me or that you know I sold lasers to there would be like can you please help me with my social media and I was like I'm working 80 hours I'm never home I'm traveling you know I mean and that's med cells right you're you're you're never home you're always traveling

Fill Me In (05:09)
Yeah, when do you want me to do that?

Yup. Yup.

Jonathan LeSuer (05:17)
No.

Farah (05:18)
But ⁓ I was like, but maybe there's something, maybe there's something for this. Like I was like, I wonder if I could do it on the side. Like, Fatona didn't have any marketing. I was just selling lasers, but I kind of was like, let me just create an Instagram, the one I have now. That was probably like four years ago. And I was like, let me just, just create it. You know, that's the first step. And then maybe I could manage, you know, social media accounts at some point. ⁓ yeah, double that. ⁓ What ended up happening is Fatona was like,

Jonathan LeSuer (05:33)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (05:48)
That you looks like you trying to you're kind of competing here and I was like, you don't even sell mark Like you don't do marketing but it ended up working out because they were like they sat me down They're like what where's your real passion line? I was like, well, it's not selling to be honest because you want me to knock on doors when they say no multiple times and that's just not my vibe, know what I mean? So it was like Okay, so I ended up leaving that job. Love Fittona great company. Love the lasers by the way But I was like, okay, I need a

Fill Me In (05:50)
you

Yeah.

you

Yeah, it's frustrating.

Farah (06:18)
figure out what the next step is so I ended up going back to nursing because I hadn't really started this business yet which by the way it was called aesthetic agency at the time it wasn't even called aesthetic social club and I was like okay let me go back to nursing and then I was working in nursing and I actually didn't really do much with it to be honest I was like

Fill Me In (06:21)
Okay?

Farah (06:37)
Kind of had imposter syndrome and I was like, I don't even know what I know. I love social media and I know I love I know how to do this but who am I to? To help people with their social media like I don't even know where to begin But I think and I went like a couple months where I was working as a nurse and then I didn't even do anything with this Instagram that I created that I ended up leaving leaving Fetona lasers for yeah, and I'm like, you know what one day I'm an epiphany and I was like girl you you you need to just you're gonna be stuck here or you're gonna give it a try and you're gonna give it your all and you're gonna see what

Fill Me In (06:39)
Mm-hmm.

your job for

Farah (07:07)
happens

and if you don't know what the heck you're doing that's okay just like keep on going and that's what I did so yeah I jumped in I reached out to some of the bed spas I knew and I was like hey can I can I come can I do your content and I had a couple clients and I would go to their office and I record all their content I would post on all their socials the whole shebang and I ended up going part-time as a nurse that was a first step

I was continuing to work with clients and then I just was like, okay I see that so many med spas need help with this but you know, there's only so much one person to do when it comes to like coming to our office and I have a really good friend here in town who actually has the same concept but for real estate agents and She did so well with it and I was like, ⁓ okay. That sounds like a bit of me let me see how I can do something like this and help like way more

Fill Me In (07:46)
Hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (07:53)
Mm-hmm.

Fill Me In (07:53)
Okay.

Mm-hmm.

Farah (08:03)
people and have something like more affordable.

Jonathan LeSuer (08:04)
Mm-hmm.

Fill Me In (08:07)
Right?

Jonathan LeSuer (08:07)
Why do you

think social media is so important now, like when it comes to your company, your business, your practice? Honestly, like any profession, why do you think it's so important now?

Farah (08:17)

Fill Me In (08:19)
Mm-hmm

Farah (08:21)
It's ⁓ every business needs social media I know that there's people out there who are like I just don't want like I do I have to and i'm like yes really you really need to because so many people are looking on social media for you know before they book with you and And if you don't have it then you need to have a strong google review you need to have because But the first thing I do when i'm trying to find a laser hair company or botox I like go on social media first I look at their instagram and I look and see what their results their before and after

Fill Me In (08:28)
Yeah

Jonathan LeSuer (08:35)
Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Farah (08:51)
I look and see who the face behind the brand is, know, so yeah, it's it's so necessary and everyone needs to have one for their business because this is just the time and age and I want to say it's unfortunate if that's not what you want, but then you might want to just hire someone to do that for you then because It's a lot. It's a lot to manage but you can manage it ⁓ But yeah, it's it's a big deal. Yeah

Fill Me In (09:07)
Right?

Yes, it is, but that's where like having the templates and stuff come in handy, right? Because

Jonathan LeSuer (09:18)
Yeah.

Fill Me In (09:19)
even me, like I post personal stuff all day long, but I actually recently hired a girl because I was like, I post so much personal that my page is no longer feeling professional. So I need someone to like, know, tie those before and afters back in, the videos back in. Like I need to make sure I'm doing that. So I brought her on to do like that side of it. yeah, I'm like.

Farah (09:28)
Mm-hmm, okay.

Jonathan LeSuer (09:32)
Yeah.

Farah (09:36)
I love that because I don't hear that often. It's usually opposite. It's usually like someone's posting way too much business

and they need to like so I mean good for you for like sharing so much of your life. Yeah. You're like, wait, let me check.

Fill Me In (09:43)
In my mind, I'm like a little influencer. It's just like my like personal stuff. And then I'm like, no, I need this for work. I'm doing it backwards.

Jonathan LeSuer (09:48)
Right. Yeah.

So

how do people reach out to you, Farrah? Like, how do they start, like, if they're interested and they're, like, listening in and they're like, yeah, I want to book with this girl and get, like, a consult, like, what do they do?

Farah (10:02)
Yeah.

Well, aesthetic social club.com and that is that is where my website is and then of course my course my Instagram always can DM me but that's I mean, yeah, I mean, once you go there, my content club, talks all about it on my page, just all that's included and all the things so ⁓

Jonathan LeSuer (10:06)
Okay.

What is the content

club?

Farah (10:23)
Yeah, the content club. So aesthetic social club is a content club for those in medical aesthetics, right? So basically when you become a member of the content club, you get access to hundreds of social media templates that are already ready to post, but they're customizable in Canva because we know all the aesthetic injectors love Canva, right? They're spending hours on Canva. Yeah. So yeah, but there's so much in the club. So when you first become a member, you get access to all our previous templates. And then I released Brandy

Fill Me In (10:42)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (10:43)
yeah.

Farah (10:52)
templates every single month, templates including feed posts, reels, stories, email templates, even PowerPoints, brochures, business cards, Facebook banners. It's in there. It's all in there.

Jonathan LeSuer (11:05)
So you must be looking at like what's

Fill Me In (11:05)
amazing.

Jonathan LeSuer (11:07)
trending, like whether it's audio, whether it's also like what's also trending in aesthetics like right now.

Farah (11:12)
Absolutely.

Yeah, it's not just the content club. There's I've actually recently it was when I first started So the club is almost in March of this this year. It'll be two years old ⁓ But when I first started was just templates, but now it's transitioned into where we do live monthly calls with experts in the field So we do every month we do live calls ⁓ Yeah, we have a trending reals report that goes out every week and in the club you have all the trending reals section That's updated every week because when I was a social media manager that was

Fill Me In (11:22)
Mm-hmm.

I love that.

Jonathan LeSuer (11:32)
Right.

Farah (11:42)
my job. would I would scroll every week for trending reels because that's another thing you need to be using trending reels. I know some people are like avoiding of trends but like it's just in reality it's it's something that really works on Instagram so it needs to be done. needs to be done but yeah and then there's also a photo and video stock library in the club as well so they can pick and choose things to use like photos if they don't have that so.

Fill Me In (11:44)
you

Jonathan LeSuer (11:45)
Right.

Fill Me In (11:50)
Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (12:04)
So you're basically taking that out of our

hands is what you're doing. We are seeing patients day in, day out. We're coming home, we're exhausted, but then you have these templates that we can literally go on and we can use them and just customize them to our brand or our business. That's so great.

Farah (12:17)
Yes, absolutely.

Thank you. And you know, there's a time and place for social media manager. I love social media managers. I was once one and people ask me all the time, like, can you do this? And I'm like, I don't do what I want anymore. But like, there's a time and place for that, right? So especially if you don't even have the time to even pick out a template and go into Canva and do what you want with it. Like if you want someone just to, if you want hands off, you want someone to come into your office, record your content, post it for sure. There's, then I actually have social media managers that use my templates as well and ⁓ use them as well.

Fill Me In (12:28)
Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm, like mine.

Farah (12:49)
Yeah, absolutely. But that's

also why I created this club because my club is $64 a month and when I was a manager and most managers they charge, I mean I would say upwards of three to five K at least. So it's just a more affordable solution for those that don't want to venture into the social media management right away but still want to save some time. Yes.

Fill Me In (13:11)
And yeah, it makes the content doable, especially too. Like

the biggest thing I feel like is someone telling you what's trending because it's one thing to be like scrolling your FYP, but like to know exactly what you should be filming and when you're posting it and what audio you should be using is a whole nother thing, know?

Farah (13:24)
Yes. Trends are huge. I

highly recommend trends. Like I love doing trends. ⁓ So I'm like, you got to get on this. And it shows a bit of personality, which is people want.

Fill Me In (13:35)
Yup.

Jonathan LeSuer (13:36)
Well, I always say like, the minute I find like a non

aesthetic injector person doing a trend, I'm like, how do I make this aesthetics? Like, how do I, and I, and I'm looking right. And I'm thinking like, my God, did Erica Berry did what seemed Garbia did all these people that it did Nicole did Nicole Bauer already do this? And I'm like, they didn't, I'm to jump on it. I don't know right now.

Farah (13:44)
Yes, I love that brain. ⁓

Fill Me In (13:44)
Mm-hmm. Yeah. Put your spin on it, yeah.

Farah (13:52)
No

Fill Me In (13:55)
I'm gonna do it now.

Farah (13:56)
Love that and then you

start and then you start a trend in a sudden the aesthetics with that trend, you know, I mean

Fill Me In (14:01)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (14:01)
Right,

right, exactly. So I think people too, they get discouraged because they see a trend happening and I'm like, no, make it your own. Just because someone maybe twisted it and it went viral over Botox, because Botox is obviously the number one search thing on Google, right, when it comes to aesthetics, but you can make it something else or you can make it about people coming in your office and booking and swiping that card. I'm sure you've seen people make trends about that and they're so fun to do.

Fill Me In (14:09)
Yeah, yep.

Farah (14:10)
Yes.

Mm-hmm.

Fill Me In (14:16)
Mm-hmm.

Yeah.

Farah (14:24)
⁓ gosh, they're so fun. ⁓

Fill Me In (14:26)
It's like those

ones where it's like yell when it hurts and it's them putting their credit card down at the end.

Jonathan LeSuer (14:31)
Yes, yes,

Farah (14:32)
I love

Jonathan LeSuer (14:33)
yeah.

Farah (14:34)
that one. love that one. there's this one where this guy is like going in to get a facial, but he's like, I need a book of facial for my woman. But then there's a note that says it's for me. So that one, I was like, please, I'm like sending these to my members. Like, please do these so I can see these. Like these are great.

Fill Me In (14:34)
This is so great.

my God, I saw that. It's for me, it's for me. my God, yes, yeah. Yep. And that came

Jonathan LeSuer (14:41)
Yes, yes!

Do these, yeah. my God.

Fill Me In (14:51)
from the trend of like, right, the guy's asking for the coffee and he's like, just black coffee and he's like, you know, it's like the sugar cookie with extra sprinkles. Yeah, so that's how it started, yep.

Farah (14:57)
that one see? Yeah and then someone saw it. John saw it and was like... ⁓

Jonathan LeSuer (14:58)
⁓ huh. Well, like right, right,

right now I just finished heated rivalry on, on HBO. Do you know heated rivalry? ⁓ boy. It's so, so good. It's basically it's, it's about, it's about hockey players. They're all men and it's about being gay in the hockey world and how, yes, it's very much trending right now with on TikTok and on Instagram. And I'm trying to right now, like to find something that's about making aesthetics. Yes. ⁓

Fill Me In (15:04)
Okay, no.

Farah (15:07)
I haven't seen it. No, I haven't heard of it. Okay, good to know another show.

Fill Me In (15:11)
you

Okay.

Farah (15:16)
wait, no, I did want to see that. Okay.

Fill Me In (15:24)
With that yeah, I love that.

Farah (15:26)
Have

you hashtagged it to see? Because I bet there's something. That's what I do.

Jonathan LeSuer (15:27)
But anyway.

Fill Me In (15:30)
Yeah, yeah look through it yeah the hashtags

Jonathan LeSuer (15:30)
Yeah, that's true. Okay. So like, what

would you say are like the top like editing or like top like apps that people can use to like make posts or like, you know what I mean? Like what would you suggest for people?

Farah (15:42)
No, for sure.

Definitely, mean well Canva obviously is number one for like templates. They're harder. It's harder to make rails on Canva I would definitely use CapCut for I use CapCut for creating rails and it also edits is the newer one the newer Instagram version of CapCut but Definitely CapCut. I I create all my rails in CapCut Sometimes I'll dabble in the edits. Apparently if you use the edits, it's better for the algorithm is what they're saying. So something yeah

Jonathan LeSuer (15:46)
Canva number one.

Fill Me In (15:46)
Mm-hmm. ⁓

Jonathan LeSuer (15:56)
edits. Okay.

Fill Me In (16:03)
Mm-hmm.

Interesting.

Jonathan LeSuer (16:11)
Okay, what do you say for people

using TikTok to make the reels? And then post them to Instagram.

Farah (16:16)
Okay, and then...

Okay, so I would say for sure because I think you have to like you have to save it a certain way so it's not I the thing is is like It definitely downs the grade the quality too. So I I have a hard time with that It's like I always recommend I know it's easier sometimes I make it on tik tok, but sometimes i'm like, okay i'll find the sound and then i'll record it on my phone Because then it doesn't downgrade the quality because i've gotten so annoyed with that before i've like created a really good tik tok and then i've saved it like as as best as I could save it and it's And I want it to be good quality. I'm like if there's a little gray

Jonathan LeSuer (16:24)
Yes.

Fill Me In (16:24)
Watermarked.

Jonathan LeSuer (16:28)
It does.

Fill Me In (16:36)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (16:41)
Yes.

Yeah.

Fill Me In (16:47)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (16:48)
I'm irritated. No, no, no. So

Fill Me In (16:49)
Yep.

Farah (16:50)
yeah, I highly recommend, know doing all outside of the tik-tok outside if you can I mean if you're just gonna be posting on tik-tok then yeah do it inside of tik-tok but if you're if plan on posting a boat trying doing it on your phone and then then you're able to edit it and CapCut and put it on tik-tok pick it up put on Instagram and ⁓ Yeah, never save your tic-tok video with the tik-tok watermark by the way. That's something that I've seen some people do ⁓ Instagram frowns upon that of course, there's a lot of

Fill Me In (16:59)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (17:11)
Watermark, yeah.

Fill Me In (17:19)
Yeah

Jonathan LeSuer (17:19)
Well that frowns.

Farah (17:20)
And that's one of them.

yeah, you can just just save there's ways you can save you know, if the Google it because I think it's like snapped outside or no There's like a special link for that. But yeah, so that's my recommendation for sure

Jonathan LeSuer (17:32)
Okay, so

obviously your mission is helping providers grow without spending hours on content. So what would you say are like the time wasters you see aesthetic injectors doing on social media right now?

Fill Me In (17:42)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (17:45)
my gosh. Okay, so many. But one that we all do, and I do it and I fall into the trap is scrolling for hours, scrolling for hours with no intention and then comparing yourself to others. Like I find myself doing that where I'm like, I have a mission, I'm gonna get on here, I'm gonna search for some trending reels and then I end up like getting pulled into a trap.

Fill Me In (17:48)
Hahaha!

Mm-hmm

Jonathan LeSuer (17:59)
Yes.

Fill Me In (17:59)
Ugh, yes.

Jonathan LeSuer (18:07)
Yeah.

Fill Me In (18:09)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (18:10)
So I know we all struggle with that. So it's just thinking about, like what am I doing? Like I need to, this is my goal. I'm gonna work towards that goal and let's not, and then sometimes if you're doing that, then you get discouraged too, because you're like, well, that person did that and it looked so good and mine definitely doesn't look that good. like, it's just, yeah.

Fill Me In (18:19)
Yep.

Jonathan LeSuer (18:30)
Yeah.

Fill Me In (18:31)
And it is so

funny because it does feel like sometimes too, like, the video you post so quickly with like a random sound is the one that skyrockets and it goes viral. And you're like.

Farah (18:41)
Literally, you're like, I didn't

even overthink this. Yeah.

Fill Me In (18:44)
Yes, yeah, but then like you'll like work

on a well a lot of the time to our before and after videos unfortunately just don't do as like it's so funny I'll post like a Christmas video I did or no a new like school year video I did it got millions of views right it was just me and my husband shopping in Walmart and And then like I'll post like a before and after that I took me three hours to make and I'm like This is amazing. It gets like 20 likes and I'm like Exactly exactly

Farah (18:56)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (19:04)
Right.

Farah (19:06)
And you're like, no wonder why I don't want to do anything but lifestyle. Because you've also taught, you've

Jonathan LeSuer (19:10)
Yeah.

Farah (19:12)
taught your algorithm that that's what, and you know what I mean? That's what your followers enjoy. So it's also like, now you're trying to like bring your algorithm back and let it know like, okay, I am also part business. So let me bring this back.

Fill Me In (19:14)
Right?

Yes, yes.

So talk about that because that is why I hired

Jonathan LeSuer (19:23)
Right.

Fill Me In (19:26)
a social media manager because I was getting too lifestyle and I knew that it wasn't bringing me clients. It's bringing me followers, but it's not bringing me people that are gonna walk through my doors. So talk a little bit about that, like how you should kind of, know, especially as a business, be putting your content out there. Mm-hmm.

Farah (19:29)
Mm-hmm.

Yes.

Okay, I definitely there needs to be a mix so I would

say like 70 business 30 personal is like a good mix because People the reality is people want

The connection and the realness and the authenticity. That's what we're craving now It is especially with AI, know, AI is large and in charge right now. So Yeah, so I you will you want it you want it? Well, especially if you're a lifestyle brand like let's say MP Miranda like that's all that's what she does She's doing the lifestyle. She throws in a little bit of education but most of the people that were that are listening to this or aesthetic injectors aesthetic doctors and They're running a business where they have to educate and

Jonathan LeSuer (19:58)
Mm-hmm.

Fill Me In (19:59)
you

Yeah.

Farah (20:20)
to get those clients. So yeah, for sure though, another thing they're not really doing is sharing a lot of personal content. It doesn't have to be like personal on your page as much either. ⁓

But okay, so 70 30 percent but also incorporate more personality into your posts, right? So you have your mix of your educational posts, but then also with the trending reels You can show a bit more of your personality and then on your stories is where you can really show More of your personality more a little bit of behind the scenes of your life people really like that stuff I've even had to struggle with that on my account because I've been like, okay people only want people don't care about my life Originally is kind of I was thinking because I've like started it

Fill Me In (20:36)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (21:00)
as a business, know, and, and, then anytime I posted something about my life, had so much traction and like DMs and people were relating and I was like, okay, I need to people, they care about the face. They want to know who the person is behind the brand, you know? So I also think that's one reason why my business has done well because

Fill Me In (21:01)
right.

They do, they love that connection. Yes, yep.

Jonathan LeSuer (21:11)
Mm-hmm.

Fill Me In (21:20)
you

Farah (21:20)
I am the face of the brand, you know? And I know some other social media template clubs that have popped up over the last couple years and they don't have a face to it I'm like, okay, okay, well, I'm doing something right over here. ⁓

Fill Me In (21:32)
still doing it exactly. And I think too that it still feels

Jonathan LeSuer (21:34)
You are. ⁓

Fill Me In (21:36)
like you're shopping small in a way, you know, you still feel that like connection of like mom and pop and not so corporate and

Farah (21:38)
Yeah!

Jonathan LeSuer (21:43)
Well, and I think to your point, yes, yes, yes.

Farah (21:44)
That

Fill Me In (21:47)
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Farah (21:47)
made me think of corporate templates. Okay, yep.

Jonathan LeSuer (21:49)
Yes, but I think too, like

as business owners, I think we want people to come to our office, not just for us, but also for the brand. So I think like hugely for like me and Nicole, especially now, I think we're both trying to brand our practice so that way people are coming to the practice, right? And not just for us because...

Fill Me In (21:58)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (22:07)
Mm-hmm. I love

that.

Jonathan LeSuer (22:10)
And

we love, obviously it's great being that face for it, but after a while people are just dying to see you, see you, see you. And they're constantly going to compare you to another injector in that practice that, you know, isn't you because you're not, they're not the face. So I think, I think that's huge is nowadays, especially if you're a practice owner to really try to brand your practice as well. So that way you can grow, because I feel like you're not honestly going to organically grow if you're not branding your practice.

Fill Me In (22:17)
Right.

Farah (22:23)
Mm-hmm.

yeah.

Yeah, and actually that made me think about like when you're using that in your instagram, right? ⁓ say say you have like a selfie wall and you're using that on your instagram like People might feel like I want to get i'm going to be part of that selfie wall or what do you know if you have like a specific area in your ⁓ Office that you use often on your instagram people are going to correlate that with like like and then maybe You know what? I mean? Yes, exactly and then just having your instagram just like

Jonathan LeSuer (22:47)
Sir.

Fill Me In (22:53)
Right.

Jonathan LeSuer (23:01)
That's Toxin Pow, or that's Exhibit, or...

Fill Me In (23:03)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (23:09)
well around your brand like that brings me to like haven't haven't okay that's probably another whole topic just branding yourself on Instagram when it comes to your brand and having have on your colors your brands matching and okay

Fill Me In (23:11)
Mm-hmm.

Yeah, yes, okay yeah, talk about that like flow of things,

yeah, yeah.

Farah (23:26)
Yeah, for

sure. Well, you know, when I'm looking at someone's account, I'm thinking, okay, first of all, what represents them, right? What represents their brand? And it's so important. And I even tell my members, if you don't have brand colors, like some people don't, ⁓ you know, it's something that usually comes with like your logo design and stuff, but some people are creating their logo themselves in Canva and they haven't really thought that far into like brand colors, which can be a big deal for just like matching with your ⁓ clinic and stuff.

I'm like you can always create your own, know, based off what your clinic looks like. But yeah, I always say I always recommend, you know...

Okay, I say this a lot to my members and I've said this many times but I feel like your Instagram is much like dating When someone comes to it, they're either gonna have it like and I either have chemistry right away or they're not ⁓ So they're either gonna like be like no, I'm out of here or they're gonna be like, okay, I'm sticking around So like yeah, you just really want you want to really want to have a professional photo right of yourself or your logo you want your bio to really

Fill Me In (24:14)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (24:31)
Speak to that person when they come to your page whether that's ⁓ Showing your services you have a special specialty or you have a special or you do a specialty where that's like acne Protocols or something like that and then how are you gonna help that client? Right that all needs to be in your bios that they know exactly what what they're coming to and they're like what they're gonna get and and then also just like really having your feed flow together with your brand matching your your your spa your clinic and

and

showing a better your personality too. I know that's a lot, it sounds like a lot.

Fill Me In (25:04)
Yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (25:05)
No, it doesn't. I think that's huge.

Fill Me In (25:08)

Farah (25:08)
Yeah, because

Jonathan LeSuer (25:08)
Yeah.

Farah (25:09)
people get overwhelmed and they're like, gosh, I gotta all do I have to do all that but I'm even doing I think it's tomorrow I'm doing a social media reset with my members and you know I'm gonna walk them through like how to reset their socials and it really doesn't have to be that Complicated like for me. Yeah, you can follow a grid plan I don't know if you guys ever heard of this but on Pinterest you can do grid plan Instagram grid plan and it literally it's color-coded ⁓ Like boxes on how you can post on your

Fill Me In (25:19)
Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (25:26)
Mm-mm.

Farah (25:38)
socials. Like that's something super easy to follow. And then also a brand photo shoot. This is something that so huge. I recommend this so very much because

Fill Me In (25:39)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (25:45)
It's huge.

Yes.

Farah (25:51)
Like we were talking about, you know, being unique and being, having your own personality and showcasing your brand. Well, brand photo shoots is really going to help with that. And then you can use it on your website. You can use it on your socials and it really makes it unique to you. And a lot of my members that make the templates unique to them, they're incorporating their brand photos into the templates, which, and they're changing the colors to match their brands. So yeah, I highly recommend the brand photo shoots. That's something that it's not necessarily, but as a business owner, think it's super.

Fill Me In (26:03)
Right.

Mm-hmm.

Farah (26:21)
beneficial.

Jonathan LeSuer (26:22)
I think it's huge.

Fill Me In (26:22)
No, yeah, and then when you go to use a photo, you

have a picture. You're not like, I don't have a photo of any of us or me. Yep, and it's good quality, exactly. Yep, it's not a selfie from the iPhone.

Farah (26:28)
And you're not trying to, yeah. Yes. I do. Oh yeah. I do quarterly brand shoots for my, for my club and

Jonathan LeSuer (26:28)
And it's good quality.

It makes you look expensive.

Farah (26:38)
for myself. So it's always nice to be like having so many photos like choose from and obviously you don't have to do quarterly, but yeah, I really, mean, it's a business investment. We'll sort your taxes. So. Absolutely. You don't have to do it quarterly. You can do it yearly too. So.

Jonathan LeSuer (26:43)
and it's worth the money. think it comes back. It comes back to you. Mm-hmm. What do

Fill Me In (26:48)
And it does look professional. It makes you stand out for sure.

Jonathan LeSuer (26:56)
What's your

opinion on people reintroducing themselves on Instagram?

Farah (27:02)
No, I mean like are you saying because maybe they haven't posted for a while? Or because there's a lot of new followers?

Fill Me In (27:04)
That's me.

Jonathan LeSuer (27:07)
⁓ no. I think that there's, I think there's some people,

sure, I have a lot of new followers, you know, ⁓ I just want to reintroduce myself. I'm John LaSora. I'm a board certified, no! I'm just asking because I've never done it and I see other people doing it.

Fill Me In (27:13)
Are you calling me out?

Farah (27:19)
Hmm.

Fill Me In (27:23)
make a new one of those like every year and then I pin it. ⁓

Farah (27:25)
I like it. I think it's

Jonathan LeSuer (27:26)
Great, that's good.

Farah (27:27)
good.

I think it's good ⁓ To yeah the pins. I think it's good to refresh that stuff You get a lot of new followers that haven't seen barely like 80 % of your content This is why we're using repurposing your content is huge as well There's so many people that just even your followers that you've had they might have never seen it So yeah, I think it's great to to read what you call read great introduce

Fill Me In (27:29)
Yes.

Jonathan LeSuer (27:33)
Yes.

Right.

Fill Me In (27:49)
Reintroduce yourself

Jonathan LeSuer (27:49)
Like, reintroduce yourself. Like, basically, yeah, it's like a picture and then they do like

a nice caption just kind of saying what they do and yeah, I love that.

Farah (27:54)
Yeah, for sure. And then

Fill Me In (27:54)
Yeah.

Do you... Do you have any pinned posts, Do you have any pinned posts? Yeah. What? What?

Farah (27:56)
pin that, maybe do that every once in a while.

Jonathan LeSuer (28:00)
What's that? Do you love how I go like this, but it's like you're here, here? Like, what is going on with me?

I can't. ⁓ No, I have. I have pin posts. I have, have, I have like, actually from our last brand shoot, like I have like a good headshot.

Farah (28:08)
That's so funny.

Fill Me In (28:11)
You do? Okay, okay.

Yeah, because I do feel like

they are good, right? Like you're saying, when someone comes to your page, they should be able to kind of see who you are, what you do, and how you're going to help them. And I feel like if you don't... that's a good idea. Yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (28:20)
Yes.

Farah (28:22)
Hints? Yes.

Jonathan LeSuer (28:23)
Yeah. I have like a good before and after, and then I have my like good headshot. And then I just make sure

my bio, like I just recently, like I think I was like, I like trademark it like facial balancer. I can't remember, but then I changed it to, I was like, you know what, let me show a little bit more of my personality. So I changed it to like confidence curator and then like something cute, you know what I mean? And then kind of a little bit. ⁓ but yeah.

Fill Me In (28:35)
Yeah.

Farah (28:41)
Ooh, love the slogan. Yeah.

Fill Me In (28:41)
Love that. Yeah.

Yeah.

Farah (28:46)
The bios are fun, you can't really get creative with those. Like literally, I love, I love, sometimes I change it up, but when you find one, you stick with it for a while, you're like, this is working for me. I think mine says like join the aesthetic cool kids or something, don't know, something's going on right now.

Fill Me In (28:49)
Yeah. Yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (28:49)
They're fun!

Fill Me In (28:57)
Yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (28:58)
Yeah.

I love that.

Fill Me In (29:02)
Yeah,

yeah, yeah, so, yeah. Okay, yes.

Farah (29:03)
But pins you were saying pins and highlights as well. Like I don't know

if I said this but your Instagram is almost it's like an additional website for your business and pins I'm I tell my members this all the time. I'm like pins are important You can do like a start here, especially if an event coming up definitely pin that things that Because when someone first comes their page, they're probably they're probably not gonna scroll too much They're probably gonna click one of the ones at the top. So and then the highlights are huge too and

Fill Me In (29:27)
Right.

Jonathan LeSuer (29:29)
Right.

Farah (29:32)
They're saying they're getting rid of those maybe and adding them as a...

Fill Me In (29:34)
I hope

not. Yeah.

Farah (29:36)
Yeah, and I'm like, please. Oh, they say they're going to

add them as like a real tab, like when you scroll over to real. And so yeah, but I love the highlights. I feel like the highlights are like links on your website. It's like different pages on your website. Um, so here's like, if someone comes to your page, they're probably going to start at the highlights. That's what I do. I'm like looking for a service. I want to click on a highlight. I'm clicking the about highlight. I'm clicking the services highlight. So use those highlights.

Fill Me In (29:41)
Okay, interesting.

Yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (29:50)
Yeah.

Fill Me In (29:55)
Right.

Mm-hmm. And that's what I have.

Because of how much personal stuff I post, was like, there's gotta be a, I gotta put my before and after somewhere where people can find them. So I have all different before and after highlights so they don't have to scroll through my page.

Jonathan LeSuer (30:08)
Yeah.

Farah (30:09)
Yes.

Jonathan LeSuer (30:13)
The

other thing that I've heard is doing really well. know like just posting a before and after picture lately, it's just not hitting the algorithm well, but making a carousel and making it like a, right? And then maybe adding it with some texts and yeah, talk about that.

Farah (30:24)
Mmm carousels are huge Carousels are huge right now. Yeah

Fill Me In (30:24)
Oh yeah, tell it, do you, yeah,

yeah.

Farah (30:28)
Carousels are huge because it's actually giving Instagram an opportunity to show more than this the first page So I I highly recommend so if you could do that would be cool with the before and afters you could share before and after and the next slide could be the review that the client left or in the next like I mean you can like do something fun with it doesn't have to be before and after you know me you could change it up a little bit but yeah, because what the algorithm does is it will it'll ⁓

Fill Me In (30:44)
good idea. Yeah.

Farah (30:53)
show different slides at different times in when people are searching. Yeah. Yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (30:56)
Okay.

Fill Me In (30:56)
And I have noticed that, because I'll scroll and that'll

be like the third page of someone's carousel. And I'm like, yeah.

Farah (31:01)
Yes, and you're like, uh-huh.

Jonathan LeSuer (31:02)
The other thing I was thinking

of doing is doing a before and after, like a facial balancing, and then the next, when they swipe, it's a video of you explaining what you did or whatever. That would be kind of cute.

Fill Me In (31:11)
What you did. Mm-hmm.

Farah (31:12)
I love that. I love

that. Yes. You could get super creative with it. And then another one could be like, I don't know, like a picture of them with like lines showing like what you did on wherever you did it. How many, how many milliliters you put in?

Jonathan LeSuer (31:18)
Yeah.

Fill Me In (31:18)
Yeah.

What you did, yeah, yeah. You guys are gonna be seeing some posts

Jonathan LeSuer (31:23)
Right, right.

Fill Me In (31:28)
in the next few days. I got some ideas going.

Farah (31:30)
Yes, so we know we want

to do the carousel post for sure. then like, actually all my templates in club in my club or carousel posts, I barely I don't really have many there's just one post, I have some singles, but like, the carousels is just where it's at right now. So definitely though. Yeah.

Fill Me In (31:38)
Yeah. Do single anymore. Yeah.

Yeah, and I think people do like to swipe through. They like

Jonathan LeSuer (31:47)
And

can you explain to our viewers what a carousel is? Because I think some people don't know what that is. Yeah.

Fill Me In (31:47)
options.

Farah (31:53)
No? Yeah.

Fill Me In (31:53)
And maybe the difference between all the different

Farah (31:55)
Yeah, yeah,

Fill Me In (31:55)
posts, yeah.

Farah (31:56)
so the cares so there's posts on your Instagram, right? So we have a video or a non video But actually a carousel can be a video. But yeah, the carousel post is like a bunch of slides, right? So you're posting multiple different slides and it becomes just like a swipe Instead of just one single post that could be like one photo ⁓ It's a swipe and then you have the rails to which are the videos but no that's good because I mean there's people out there they don't know they don't know how to Create a real and I even have

Fill Me In (31:59)
You

Jonathan LeSuer (32:20)
Yeah.

They don't know.

Farah (32:25)
I'm like, okay, I need to create, that's a content idea for me. I forget about that sometimes. I'm like, okay, I need to even just show people how to do that because it's just simple things that are like, well, I think it's simple, right? It's not simple to a lot of people because it's a lot.

Fill Me In (32:29)
Mm-hmm

All right. Yep.

Jonathan LeSuer (32:39)
And I think, like, and how

you do it is, is there's an option to choose multiple photos when you make your post. It's like that little icon, right? And then, and that's, yes. Yep. And then you can click.

Fill Me In (32:44)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (32:46)
Yes, you have to click that double I double square or something and then you have to click

all the, ⁓ all the, posts that you want to use. Yes. I take advantage of that. will be, people are like, people are loving the storytelling right now. They want a book. They're reading. They're like, it's why you want to like, you like tell a story on each side, you know, keep them engaged.

Fill Me In (32:53)
Mm-hmm. Up to 20. Yeah, me too. Yes, yes. Yeah. Yep.

Jonathan LeSuer (32:54)
That's- I know, there's some- I have to- I- right?

They are.

What do you think of the

floating head videos? Nicole. Yeah, so like basically like there's a green screen. You have a before and after picture behind you. And then you're kind of, and you're kind of pointing, how did we get, do you think that those do well explaining like, how did we get from this to this?

Fill Me In (33:14)
Me.

Farah (33:18)
⁓ right, right, right. I love, yeah.

Fill Me In (33:20)
You're just floating

Farah (33:27)
Yeah, a lot of a lot of real probably it's probably real or you can you can do it carousel but a lot of the rails that I've seen that have done really well are those it's like the talking ones and then it has like something in the background that you're explaining whether it's like a trend that went wrong or like your before and after yeah I actually did a lot of those with my clients when I worked in office with them so that's that's actually that's actually something I should

Fill Me In (33:31)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (33:44)
Right.

Fill Me In (33:44)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (33:50)
Yeah.

Fill Me In (33:52)
What do they call it? Like

you should use the beginning, like a hook, like a couple of words, right? That bring people in. Mm-hmm.

Farah (33:56)
yeah. Yeah, because you know, people, yeah, people, people have a short attention span. We,

that's just how it is now on Instagram. Like we're scrolling. Remember we talked about this. So we need something to catch our attention and you just, you gotta figure out those strong hooks. If you need help, use sim AI because I do this a lot. It's a lot to think about, but ⁓ yeah, just trying to say something that really catches their attention right away, you know? So.

Jonathan LeSuer (34:12)
Right.

Fill Me In (34:15)
Yup, ⁓

Yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (34:24)
that right away.

Fill Me In (34:25)
Do you feel like, there any specific between like carousel, static posts, real stories? Do they all play a role? Does one get you more views than the other? you feel?

Farah (34:25)
That's cool.

that's a good question.

So it really, it depends on stories is separate. So we'll go with that one last, but ⁓ with the rails and the carousels, it might depend on the account, you know, because some accounts do really well with rails and some do really well with carousel posts. Like I noticed on my account, my carousel posts do really well. So I kind of started showing a little bit away from the rails as much just because I noticed they're doing so well. ⁓

Fill Me In (34:41)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (34:55)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (35:00)
Maybe it's just because they're minor they're so at educating and like I don't people are really loving those but I think they like carousels definitely I would do like a mix like I would do probably like There's no rule about it But you could do like one reel a week and and like two other carousels when we're talking about posting by the way ⁓ Talking about how often you should be posting while I'm on this subject. ⁓ I recommend at least three times a week because I know I you know

Fill Me In (35:02)
Mm-hmm

Farah (35:27)
I don't recommend doing every day, okay? Let's... I think that's just overkill. So when I see every day I'm like, who's posting every day?

Jonathan LeSuer (35:41)
She gives me anxiety. She... Farrah, Farrah, Farrah. She gives me anxiety because I'm like, my god, I need to be doing more. And like, ⁓ my god. She, this person right here that you're talking to, her brain, I do not know how she functions. She's a mother, she's a business owner, she's an injector, she posts twice. Literally, no, but why does she? Because she does it all. Like, I'm like, holy shit. I'm like, She's like...

Fill Me In (35:41)
multiple, multiple times a day.

Farah (35:43)
No! ⁓

No! Okay. Okay. ⁓

Fill Me In (35:50)
my god!

Farah (35:57)
Yeah. No wonder why she hired someone, because she's like, I can't function. Okay. Okay, so tell me why you're posting so much. I'm just curious. Like, I need to know.

Fill Me In (35:58)
⁓ my god.

Well, to be honest, I thought that it was good. I don't know that it is. But I'm also just like, I'm so quick at it now. Like, I made scrambled eggs yesterday morning and I made a video.

Farah (36:17)
Yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (36:19)
I'm so up.

Farah (36:20)
He's so out of here. No. ⁓ my gosh. Okay, so okay, because.

Jonathan LeSuer (36:24)
That was my wig is my microphone.

Fill Me In (36:27)
I'm crying. ⁓ also I'm

Jonathan LeSuer (36:30)
You

Fill Me In (36:32)
very, I can't, if I make a good video, I seriously can't let it sit and like when I know it's gonna do well to like at 6 p.m. post it, like I just, post it. It's impatience, I'm impatient. Yeah, I can't wait.

Jonathan LeSuer (36:33)
I'm so good at it.

Farah (36:41)
Yeah. Well, I mean, if you're, if you're creating that much content and it's like, you have it just burning in your back pocket. Good for you,

Jonathan LeSuer (36:49)
Nicole is like a dog with a bone.

Farah (36:54)
It sounds like my husband, so he does fitness things

and he was at one point posting every single day. And I think at one point...

Like it was really good, but here's my thought on it. So I believe when you have a brand new account, you're really trying to get traction and you're really trying to get out there. I think posting every single day is really great because then you're like building it. The algorithms, you know, you're getting the algorithm used to what you're posting. Um, but the only reason why I don't really recommend it, especially if you have like an account that you've had for a long time, it's like one burnout. That's definitely going to cause burnout in yourself. And I feel like it doesn't really give the algorithm time to post, to share your previous content.

Fill Me In (37:03)
Hmm.

Bye.

you

Farah (37:31)
If you think about

that. So then you're posting and then like all your other content that you posted is not getting time to be seen. I think a good balance is like four to five a week, four to five weeks. Four is like, if you can do four, because like there's people that can barely, know, like if you can do two a week, I'm proud of you for doing two a week, but do it two a week. You know, don't skip three weeks and then.

Fill Me In (37:35)
getting lost.

Hmm.

Yeah, yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (37:54)
Yeah. What do you

Fill Me In (37:55)
Right, right.

Jonathan LeSuer (37:56)
think are the most, what would you say are the most popular days to post that get the most views?

Fill Me In (37:56)
Stay consistent.

Farah (38:02)
Okay, so that's dependent. dependent on, it depends on the account and it depends on your clientele, your niche, right? So for me, I notice, excuse me, water. ⁓

Fill Me In (38:12)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (38:13)
Hahaha.

Farah (38:14)
I noticed that Fridays didn't do well for me. So that's where analytics come in. Okay, you definitely want to check your analytics. You're gonna go into the dashboard, you're gonna click followers, you're gonna scroll the bottom and it's gonna show you the times that people are on the most. Mine's from 12 to three, believe it or not. 12 to three. And so I noticed on Fridays I didn't get very good traction, ⁓ so I stopped posting on Fridays. So like I said, it depends. What you want to do is kind of post

to

mess with it and see how they do. And then you also want to think about your ideal clientele, right? So mine is a 36 year old woman that owns probably a mom owns her business. She's not getting home till 6pm. So I was actually posting or 7pm, you know what mean? So I actually started posting at like night and that was doing really well for me as well. But my Instagram's told me telling me 12 to three. But I noticed 12 does really well. I think I think that a night works best because that's when you know, my

Jonathan LeSuer (39:13)
more people are on.

Farah (39:14)
That's when my clientele's at home, you know, after they put their kids to bed or after they're in dinner and they're in their bed, you know. So you really need to think what, you know, who is my ideal clientele? What's their age? Who are they? Where are they at? What are they doing? And when are they going to see my content? they're, you know, if they're in their twenties and they have a full-time job, they might see it around noon or they might see it in evening. So it's just, it's kind of trying things out and seeing what works for you. And then also looking at your analytics.

Fill Me In (39:15)
Yeah. Nope.

Right.

Jonathan LeSuer (39:30)
Yes.

Fill Me In (39:36)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (39:39)
Yes.

Fill Me In (39:43)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (39:43)
So I think

for me, I've noticed that Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays do the worst. And I feel like Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays, and then a Sunday post, like while people are just like Sunday scaries on their phones is good. And I find maybe the Sunday one to do something a little bit more like a quote post or like a fun, like a little bit more fun. And then obviously, you know.

Farah (39:44)
Thank

Okay, yes.

Mm-hmm. Yeah.

Fill Me In (39:54)
yeah, yeah.

Mm-hmm. You're so right. Sunday is my quote day.

Farah (40:01)
more fun.

Look at that! Yes! Because

Fill Me In (40:06)
I

Farah (40:07)
like people are Sunday Scaries, like you said, people are not trying to think about... Yes.

Fill Me In (40:07)
go, I look for quotes. yep. Something to motivate you for the week. Yep. Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (40:12)
Yeah, something a little bit more motivating and more chill.

like, I feel like on my ⁓ more meh post that I'm posting, whether it's just like, if it's just, if it's a before and after, or if it's a, ⁓ like a funny reel or whatever that I feel like that will gain traction, I'll obviously not hide the likes, but if it's like something where I feel like it might not do well, I hide the likes with it. that way.

Farah (40:34)
⁓ The likes Mmm

that

Fill Me In (40:38)
Ugh.

Farah (40:38)
that be getting in our heads, you know what I mean people be people be messed up with that ⁓ I Think do what you got to do it do what you want to do. You know what mean? And I there's no rhyme or reason to hide in the likes ⁓ Sometimes I'm like whoops hold on

Jonathan LeSuer (40:41)
It does! Yeah.

Fill Me In (40:41)
Mm-hmm.

Can't hear us. Came unplugged. John, somebody said said hide the likes because I was just saying how I, even if I get 20 likes, I refuse to hide them.

Jonathan LeSuer (40:57)
No! See?

Farah (41:00)
No! I got excited!

Jonathan LeSuer (41:13)
Uh, I don't know. Yep, yep, you're back.

Farah (41:13)
my gosh. Okay, are we in my hair? I got excited.

Fill Me In (41:15)
She's back.

She's back. She did what John did.

Farah (41:17)
I was like, I know. ⁓ No, but I like it. I'm like, I'm like, do what you want to do. Like do whatever makes you feel good. Like on my personal page, I actually have all the high

Jonathan LeSuer (41:19)
⁓ Well, I just messed my just

messed my hair up so I got to go back and fix it after after this so

Fill Me In (41:30)
You

Farah (41:34)
All the likes hide hidden because I was just like I don't even want to think about it just want to post because I enjoy posting and I don't want to care about anything else, you know, and then um on my business one i'm like, you know what if a post doesn't do well, then that's fine because I also kind of want people to see that that's normal like everyone every i'm like everyone is going through this like you could be you can have every single post is doing so well and then one just doesn't and this is just

Fill Me In (41:36)
hidden. ⁓

Right, right.

Yes, that's what I just said to John. I'm like, I don't hide my likes. Yeah, yeah. Like this one. Right.

Farah (42:04)
how Instagram is right now. remember a time where my husband was posting every single day, every single post was doing so good. It was like there was a time where he could do nothing wrong. Like, but yeah, now we're in the time where Instagram is just a jerk head. it's like,

Fill Me In (42:12)
Mm-hmm.

Yeah.

Yeah, you don't know like like

this post right 500 586 likes okay, and then Yeah, yep, and then this one where I'm thanking all my patients 31 So but I'm like but I'm like I I don't want to hide them cuz I'm like whatever it is what it is But it is it's definitely an ego hit you're like oh, okay Yeah

Farah (42:25)
Yeah, you and your kid, personal one. What? Makes no sense sometimes. Yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (42:26)
Yeah.

Farah (42:37)
No, yeah. Yeah, but that's what saying. Just do whatever makes you feel the best because because it really can mess with you. Like social

media can. Yes. ⁓ the comments. Yes.

Fill Me In (42:48)
social media and comments and yeah. But you mentioned earlier like,

you know, don't get stuck in the death scroll and like comparing yourself because that's something that I find myself not following a lot of people because I do tend to compare myself and then it's not a good cycle. So when you mentioned that earlier, was like, that's something that definitely the doom scroll can get to your head.

Jonathan LeSuer (43:02)
Right.

Farah (43:04)
Yes!

Mm-hmm and take advantage of muting people you can like

obviously if you want to follow someone But you don't want them to know that you really don't want to follow them be like mute just mute It's fine. Just like honestly it it's your platform and you're the one singing every day you get to make the decisions on what you're putting in your brain and what you're seeing so That's that's my thought on that Exactly it is there yeah

Fill Me In (43:14)
You

Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

I love that, I love that. The mute button, hit the mute button. I have a question. What

Jonathan LeSuer (43:29)
I love it. my God.

Fill Me In (43:36)
are your thoughts on AI? I get that Chatubti can be really good for making you maybe a plan or what you could be posting or giving you ideas and thoughts. ⁓ I know that it's gotten as good as making graphics now. What are your thoughts on the usage of it and how much you should use it?

Farah (43:47)
Yes. Oh. Mm-hmm.

AI. ⁓ this could

be a topic, a whole topic. AI is so good. Like it's such an incredible tool. It can really, really help you save time. am sometimes I'm like, what did I even do before AI? ⁓ AI or chat is my therapist, right? I think I saw a quote that said chat is my therapist. And I'm like, I'm talking to him about my husband. Like, Hey, he told me this. So we need to listen to him. You know, that's what I say about chat. It's ridiculous.

Fill Me In (44:10)
Yep.

Jonathan LeSuer (44:11)
Right.

Fill Me In (44:15)

going on vacation, John, and I'm like, is it terrible that

I'm leaving my kid for seven days to go on vacation? And it was like, no.

Farah (44:27)
Literally.

Jonathan LeSuer (44:27)
What did it say?

Farah (44:31)
But then my husband's like, you know what tells you what you want to hear? I'm like, whatever. Yeah, but I know.

Fill Me In (44:33)
⁓ Like does it? And I choose to believe it. ⁓

Jonathan LeSuer (44:40)
my god.

Farah (44:41)
It's so funny. But no,

it's so good because you can use it really to brainstorm content ideas, know, organize your thoughts, ⁓ help with captions, of course. ⁓ You know, for those days where like, I really don't know what to post, but I really want to speak to my ideal client. ⁓

Jonathan LeSuer (44:46)
Right.

Fill Me In (44:47)
Hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (44:50)
Yeah.

Farah (44:57)
Things like that like there's so many ways, know, you can use it. There's so many ways obviously emails business like I have so many saved tabs I use for different things ⁓ but yeah, the human part is a non-negotiable that's something that is Never it's never gonna replace like, ⁓ you know AI doesn't have your voice your experience your opinion So it's not gonna build the trust that you can so I think it's a tool it needs to be a tool and and that's

Jonathan LeSuer (45:03)
Right, right.

Fill Me In (45:07)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (45:27)
I think that's where it's gonna stop people, especially in 2026, people are gonna be really sick of it in certain aspects. Like for example, those accounts that are all AI and you can tell it's like an AI model. I don't know if you guys have been seeing them, they're like, they've blown up. like have, it's insane. It's like probably a guy from India and it's like this person has 500,000 followers and it's an AI model. It's insane. Yeah.

Fill Me In (45:34)
Mm-hmm.

Jonathan LeSuer (45:41)
Yes.

Fill Me In (45:47)
you

Jonathan LeSuer (45:50)
Yes. I've seen them.

Fill Me In (45:50)
John's like, I've

seen it. ⁓

Jonathan LeSuer (45:55)
It's all over my Discover. When I go on there, it's all these and I'm like, who are you? And the account name is weird. It's something weird and you have 300,000 followers and it's like four posts. I'm like, okay, goodbye. Yeah.

Farah (45:58)
I know. It's wild, but...

Fill Me In (46:01)
Yeah.

Mm-hmm. Yep.

Farah (46:09)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

But yeah, so it I'm would never use AI to create templates. I don't think that it is just not the same as a human touch. And I don't know if it ever be and I pray it will never be but ⁓ yeah, I am incorporating a little bit into my business by like having a chatbot help my members like find specific templates because like I have a lot of templates in my club, maybe they're searching for something specific, or maybe just help to because I give them captions in the club, maybe they can use that caption and put it in my little

Fill Me In (46:15)
Yeah.

Mm-hmm.

Mm-hmm.

you

Farah (46:39)
chat bot and just see what else I can come up with. Just little things like that. again, AI is, it's just a tool and it never needs to replace. People want connection so bad. Like I think they're getting so sick of seeing AI everywhere that

Fill Me In (46:45)
Yeah. Yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (46:47)
Right.

Fill Me In (46:53)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (46:54)
that authenticity is what's really gonna win in 2026. It's just being your authentic self, showing up as who you are, being real, and just showing people that you mess up and that you have ADHD, you your own business, stuff like that. That's what people want.

Fill Me In (46:56)
Yeah.

Mm-hmm. We

Jonathan LeSuer (47:07)
Right.

Fill Me In (47:09)
can all do it.

Jonathan LeSuer (47:09)
What do you say to people that have a hard time showing their personality on social media? Because I think we, as a boss, as a practice owner, I think like I would love to have my employees be a little bit more on social media. And some that I thought would be so huge on it are now second guessing themselves. they're like, oh, John, it's so easy for you. You know, blah, blah, blah. You're so extroverted. I'm like, well, it wasn't easy in the beginning, you know?

Farah (47:17)
Mm-hmm.

Yeah

Yeah, exactly.

Fill Me In (47:34)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (47:37)
I think just like...

Just starting small like you don't have to like you don't have to set up your camera and have a little mic and start recording like Like show up with some selfies, you know show up on your story Just having a conversation and speak like you're talking to a friend. Just like be like i'm talking to my friend that's on the other side and just do little things here and there which and also Kind of kind of jump in at the same time Like you said like you started and you probably were like, I don't know what the heck i'm doing And I don't even know if i'm good at this. I mean

Jonathan LeSuer (47:44)
Right.

Mm-mm.

Farah (48:08)
think we all have that imposter syndrome. I still have it and we all have it, especially at the beginning. But just knowing that everyone feels that way for the most part, where they're just kind of afraid to show up as themselves. But just know that that's really what people are wanting. But yeah, just start small. Just start with little things, whether that's just a post. ⁓

Fill Me In (48:10)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (48:29)
of maybe you with your client, maybe having a conversation and just little things that like show yourself, show who you are and like throw a trend in there. Just try, try a little, try a little trend. You don't have to talk. You know what mean? You can just do a little something that's fun and then see how that goes. And if that does well, then you're like, oh, okay. I could do this.

Jonathan LeSuer (48:38)
Yes, yes.

Fill Me In (48:38)
Yeah, the trends. Yup, yup.

I could do that again. And I feel

like the trends are such a good way of doing it because you don't have to, I think a lot of people are worried about that digital footprint and like, it's left there and like, what if I said the wrong word or I look stupid? like a trend is a trend and everyone's doing it and you might not feel as personally attached to it. Maybe it's a little easier to start with those.

Farah (48:58)
Yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (49:00)
Right.

Farah (49:05)
Yeah, and it's like you don't have to do every trend as well. It's like like find something that you resonate with and use it that Change it to match your brand and match your clientele and like speak to your specific audience, you know You don't have to do the same exact thing that someone's done like you need to change it up and try to make it your own, know for sure

Fill Me In (49:11)
Mm-hmm.

Right, yep.

Mm-hmm. I laugh, think, back to when we first started,

Jonathan LeSuer (49:27)
That's great.

Fill Me In (49:30)
I don't know, when I first met Melissa, like, eight years ago. back then, Instagram was a thing, but it wasn't popular. And they hired a social media manager at where we worked. And they were like, all right, we need to film you, Melissa. And she, like, threw a fit. She's like, you're not filming me. Like, I'm not doing this. But, like, nowadays, and now you'll catch her in her car just talking to her.

Farah (49:45)
Yeah, no.

Fill Me In (49:50)
back of her phone screen, you know? Like it's just, it's so funny. Like, so everyone starts somewhere and not everyone wants to do it. And eventually we all, we all get there.

Farah (49:51)
Yeah, seriously. Yup.

That makes me think of my my past

Jonathan LeSuer (49:58)
Yes.

Farah (49:59)
client she ⁓ Beautiful woman I think in her late 50s and she was like I would I would come to her and be like look at all these trends like let's do this when I have this great idea you can speak she was like she was like mortified she didn't want to do this but she was like I'm gonna do it like I'm gonna try this and I was like don't worry like I can edit it like if you mess up that's totally fine like we can always do it again like it's okay like and then she ended up doing it and she was like this isn't bad and she would get so much traction people were loving it

Fill Me In (50:12)
Yep.

Jonathan LeSuer (50:14)
Mm-hmm.

Fill Me In (50:19)
Yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (50:21)
Yes.

Fill Me In (50:25)
Yes! All good. Yep.

Jonathan LeSuer (50:26)
Right.

Fill Me In (50:27)
See? Yep. Aww. Oh, I love that. I love that.

Farah (50:27)
And ⁓ yeah, so Norea Aesthetics, love her, Norea Aesthetics. My number, my first client, my first client, yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (50:32)
Aww.

Farrah, do you have like any questions for us? I guess we'll put it on you if you have any questions for us at all. If not, it's totally fine, but yeah.

Farah (50:42)
⁓ yes. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, absolutely. we.

Bye. I'm just kidding. No, but like, tell me about the podcast. I wanted to know how did this come come about? Like, I mean, I've been listening to it. I love the podcast with a Jector Bunny. I mean, you guys are a hoot. I'm like, I just like you guys. You guys like how do you guys know each other? Like, what's the yeah.

Fill Me In (50:52)
She's like, no.

Yes, ⁓ thank you.

Jonathan LeSuer (51:05)
Aww.

Fill Me In (51:10)
Yeah, I know, right? Our history.

John, you want to take it away? Go for it.

Jonathan LeSuer (51:12)
Yeah, sure. Yeah, so we actually so we're both Allergan trainers and When skin V which is a skin booster lot launched it was ⁓ gosh two years ago two and a half years ago through it Yeah we met at the train the trainer and we just clicked me and Nicole did and we just formed a huge group of friends and Literally three months later We we just found ourselves talking to each other like every other day and then she texted me and she's like we should start a podcast I feel like

Farah (51:12)
We will.

Okay.

Mm-hmm.

Fill Me In (51:22)
Two or three now, yeah, yeah.

You

Jonathan LeSuer (51:40)
podcasts

are so huge right now and like there's nothing really in the aesthetic space that like, you know, that has one. And I'm like, my God, do I have time for this? Right. But like my head, I'm like, God, I don't know if I have enough time for this. Like I'm growing my business. And then I'm like, screw it. I was like, Nope, this is like our yes era. Like we got to say yes to these things. So we started doing it. Yeah, we started doing it and it just, it just kind of excelled from there. And we just found that it was such a good way of like,

Farah (51:46)
Mm-hmm. There's definitely not a lot for sure.

Fill Me In (51:49)
Yes.

Farah (51:59)
I love that. Yes.

Fill Me In (52:00)
Yeah

Jonathan LeSuer (52:07)
promoting community over competition and just collaborating with people and learning about where people come from and like everybody does their practice differently. Everybody injects differently and it's just it's just really refreshing and I think it's just been really nice.

Farah (52:22)
We love that. And you guys have the chemistry. You guys were like, look what you've created. I love it so much. You guys have done so well. Did you guys live near each other? a few hours?

Fill Me In (52:24)
Aw, thank you. Aw, thank you. To their well, yeah, yeah.

Jonathan LeSuer (52:29)
And I feel like we bounce off each other pretty well. You know what I mean? Like, kind of.

Fill Me In (52:35)
Three and a half hours apart. Yeah, Yeah, yeah. ⁓

Jonathan LeSuer (52:36)
Yeah. A lot of people think we work together, but we don't. But, well, I don't know. No, no, no, no! Oh my God. Well, there's something in the works, but it's not, we're not joining, no. Yes. And you'll end up seeing it, I'm sure, on social media. It'll be great.

Farah (52:38)
Nice.

Fill Me In (52:43)
Maybe soon.

Farah (52:43)
Oh. Oh, I about to say. Spill in some tea? Something in the works?

Fill Me In (52:48)
Yeah, right? Yes. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah.

Farah (52:52)
Okay, yeah.

my gosh, this is going to be a really good year. Do you guys have anything

like exciting that you're excited about for the, well, maybe that this year.

Fill Me In (53:02)
Well yeah, and we're

going to a conference in Monaco together with Olivia. Yes, yeah. Yeah, so we're making a trip out of it.

Jonathan LeSuer (53:07)
Yep.

Farah (53:08)
What? I was gonna ask what conferences you were going to. That one's...

Jonathan LeSuer (53:11)
Yeah, we're doing AMWC Monaco. it's

Farah (53:14)
Okay. What's that?

Jonathan LeSuer (53:14)
in Monaco and then we're both doing AMWC Monaco. it's, it's God, there's over like 10,000 people that go. ⁓ it's March 26th through the 28th. Yeah. Yeah. And then we're doing American Med Spa. So the AMSPA Association. Yep. And Vegas. You all. ⁓ stop it.

Farah (53:22)
yeah, yeah heard it that. is it? When is it? Sorry. March, okay. coming up, okay. Monica! Okay. Wait, I'm gonna be there. I have my own booth, I have my own booth. And I

Fill Me In (53:22)
That's huge. March. Yeah.

will be there.

Farah (53:38)
am so excited because like, who am I? Like, who?

Fill Me In (53:41)
No, that's so amazing. Yes.

Jonathan LeSuer (53:41)
Who are you? You're that bitch.

Farah (53:44)
But what's funny is that

the last time I was there, I was at a Fatona booth. And I remember thinking, I want to be here one day. I'm to be that girl that's wearing that business suit with Converse. So I can't wait to meet you guys. ⁓ my gosh. Yes. And I'm going to be right next to Moxie, by the way. I'm going be right next to them. Yeah.

Fill Me In (53:48)
Gosh yes and look at you now That's amazing Yes, yes, yeah, ⁓ So you'll definitely see her

Jonathan LeSuer (53:52)
I love that. ⁓ that's so great. my God, finally in person. Yes. ⁓ you are. Okay, so I'm gonna be doing

a podcast booth for them during it, like a mosh pit or whatever. wait, that's so exciting. Cool. Okay, I love that.

Farah (54:05)
my gosh. ⁓ cool. Yeah. Okay. Yay.

Fill Me In (54:07)
you

Farah (54:12)
Everyone should come to Amspa. Yes. In July? ⁓ my gosh. April. I should know. April. Okay. So Monica and then Amspa and what else?

Fill Me In (54:13)
Yes, Amspa, yes, yep. It's gonna be a good year. April, yes, April, yep, yep.

Jonathan LeSuer (54:13)
I know. Yeah.

Yes.

I think we're, yeah, we're going to do Modern Beauty Con, which is in Boston. And then Aesthetic Extender, which is amazing. That's in Boca, Boca Raton. And then I, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then I think I'm going to do Iceman this year. Yeah. That's for nurses, I believe, right, Nicole? I think it's out in LA. Yep.

Fill Me In (54:24)
Modern Beauty Con in Boston, yep, that'll be in May.

Yeah.

Farah (54:32)
I've heard good things about that one. I've been to some of these with Fetona.

Fill Me In (54:36)
Mm-hmm.

Farah (54:39)
What's that one? Iceman. Okay. Fun.

Fill Me In (54:41)
Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's the plastic surgery, like, association. Yeah.

I think that's where you can get, like, the cans and everything. We should look into that, Certified aesthetic nurse specialist. Yeah. If you're going, we might as well make it a thing and get cans out of it. He's like, great, another thing I have to do. ⁓

Farah (54:47)
Let's check that one out.

Jonathan LeSuer (54:50)
Yeah, the cancer, yep.

Farah (54:52)

dabbling in a type of event because I had someone be like, is there an event for like social media, like in the aesthetic space? And I was like, not really. I mean, there's like, you guys learn and there's some little things, but some thoughts, you never know what will come out in 2026.

Fill Me In (55:09)

Thank you. Aestheticsocialclub.com and then Aesthetic Social Club underscores on Instagram. I actually am rebranding soon this year. So that's something new and exciting because that's actually another thing you don't learn. You don't really know when you start your business that you need a trademark. So that's something to talk about. You need to trademark your name. So I just jumped in head first, right? But now that's something. So now I'm rebranding. So that's super exciting. But right now it's Aestheticsocialclub.com and you can find me the same on Instagram.
