βPeople always say like, I don't feel comfortable bringing up other parts of someone's face. But when someone comes into, you say, for the lower face, there's so much going on aging wise that has happened in the midface and the temple, that if you don't discuss that with them, you're doing them a disservice.
So it's not, it's not like you're picking them apart, you're, you're explaining the aging process and you're also explaining your diagnosis.
A lot of providers tell us the same thing. I love treating patients, but running the business, that's where I'm overwhelmed.
Whether you're just launching your Med Spa or already running one, Moxie is the all-in-one growth system built to help you scale without the stress.
With software marketing, compliance, tools, and expert coaching all in one place, Moxie helps you grow faster and more confidently.
And right now, fill me and listeners get $500 off. Their launch fee. Head to www.joinmoxie.com/fill mein or click the link in the show notes.
Alright, welcome back to another episode of the Fill Me In podcast. I'm injector John, and I'm aesthetic nurse Nicole and I'm under the weather, but we are here and we're queer. Poor John is sick today. Oh my God. I can't, it's fine. Wait,
what did you just say?
I'm here and I'm queer and I literally, I know you so
much and
I last night.
I, one of my Italian patients told me to take oil of oregano.
Okay, so
I got the oil of oregano and it's a dropper and it tastes absolutely disgusting. It burns your esophagus. I ended up putting it in Gatorade. I choke it down in
Gatorade.
I know, but the other option is to like do it in your mouth and I highly advise against it.
Yeah, no, I've never heard of that. I've heard of garlic, but not that.
Oh, and I might have had four gar garlic cloves last night. Ugh. And I put Vix at the base of my feet.
Oh my, you've tried it all.
And I, and I got an immunity IV and I still can't breathe in my nose. It's fine. I was gonna
say, are we feeling better?
I think it's just located in the, this vicinity in my base.
Maybe we should, maybe we should, um, utilize some modern medicine and take some like Mucinex or,
you know, that would be great. I don't like how cold medicine makes me feel. I'm that kind of patient. It makes me feel drunk. I hate it.
Yeah, no, you gotta take it like right before bed.
I know. Yes. Like NyQuil before bed. I am game. I'm game four, but I'm,
I'm laughing for everyone listening. We've been trying to put this day together for a while now.
Oh, I know. Poor John's
running behind. And then he finally logs in and can't get in for some reason. Can't in, he's like blocked out and then he sits down and he's like, wait, I need to go get a box of tissues.
I know.
And stupid Chrome made me update. I'm like, I just, oh, of course. And there's just, everything was just adding up all
the things. So he's with his blanket and his tissues
and my rosacea, flaring. It's just, it's, it's a day. It's a day. It's a day. Him and I had a photo shoot to with my team this morning, but it's fine.
They'll edit it out.
Yeah, you'll be, you'll be good.
Um, it was how the photo shoot go? It went really well. Yeah. It was time for new photos. And honestly, like business owners, like if you're listening, like get, make sure you're up to date on your head shots. I think everybody needs new head shots like twice a year.
Mm-hmm. 'cause we change. Oh yeah. Okay.
Way more. I went to do my am spa stuff for mm-hmm. For this year, for 2026. I'm doing that. Like affiliate? Yes. With them. So I have to post about it and I went to post a, a, um, an Instagram reel, and I, the only headshots I had, I am like, they're three years old. My hair is down to my butt pin straight.
Right. Like, I'm like, I don't look like this anymore.
I know it's crazy. Like, and then I got veneers, so like these ones, yes. Like finally like mm-hmm. You know, and plus the team. It's just good. It's good to have new stuff and like, um, it's also really important to find a, a good photographer that helps to coach you and is creative.
'cause honestly, like we have so much going on at Nicole, like, I can't even think about, okay, this is where I need to put my hand. My hair is no. Literally like, someone needs to tell me what to do.
Tell me how to look,
tell me how to look and I'll do it.
And business casual and scrubs.
Oh yeah. And that's what we did.
Yeah. Yep. Business casual and scrubs. Yeah. Yep.
Because that was my other thing. I went to post and I'm like, oh my God, I don't even have one that's like, I know I could use for anything, you know?
Yeah. And I think, um, if you're an injector and you're getting more and more opportunities, a lot of times they'll ask for like, an updated cv.
They'll act, act, ask for, just, you know, just. Um, up to date headshot on things. Mm-hmm. And then you'll look back and look, oh my God, this is like from two years ago.
Yep.
I look totally different and you have nothing. You know what I mean? So it's just, it's good to keep things up to date,
updated Exactly.
Mm-hmm. Every six months or so.
Yeah. Um, well, I think one of the latest big things since we've last filmed is that, um, Moxie was just launched. Yes. Uh, we've, we've been doing, um, ads for them mm-hmm. Running them, which is so funny. It's almost like it was like a premonition of what was to come. No.
Literally.
Like, and it was so funny 'cause I remember when they first reached out, we were like, oh, like we didn't obviously know anything about them. Right. And, uh, fast forward, John's a partner with them. I know. So tell us about what you're doing with them.
Yeah. So I'm on the, um. The Aesthetic Business Advisory Board for Moxie, I think there's like 10 or 12 of us.
We're all scattered across the United States, and Moxie is. It basically includes software and services. Um, it's great for, there's two different components to it. So Moxie, the business side of things is for people that if you have an established practice and you're scaling and you're just, you know, you feel like.
The business side of things is taking away from the bedside and like, you know, you focusing on the patient, get moxie on board and they can help take that away from you. So that way the patient's always number one and you could focus on just being an injector. Mm-hmm. Um, and also what's cool about Moxie is that they get prices like filler Botox at a little bit of a cheaper cost.
So it decreases your overhead a little bit, which that's incredible. Which
is great. Yeah.
Um, the other. Uh, and, and it's not just for established practices, it's also for people that if they wanna launch your own practice, you can also reach out to join Moxie. Um, you also have to be within the United States.
They don't do Canada yet. That's, that's a big one. Um, and then there's the Scale Society. The Scale society is really, really cool because all of us are, that are on the ad board and I think just some people that are on the ad board but have maybe an influence in the aesthetic community, they're gonna be used to, um, for like in real life events.
Um, whether it's at like ampa, it's at Modern beautycon, it's at aesthetic next, and like basically we'll be doing panels, presentations, maybe even live injections we'll be doing. Um, and, and we'll also be a resource for and not Gate keep our business secrets. So that way people, it's just so hard, it's so hard to find people in your area to like lean on and to ask questions for or feel comfortable asking.
So I think for. All people that, the people that are on the ad board, it's just nice for people for a resource.
Yeah. And now is the Scale Society something you can sign up for separately or it's included in your Moxie membership?
No. So it's separate. That's nice. So it's actually in my link in my bio.
Mm-hmm. Um, so if you guys go to Injector John on Instagram and you go to my Link Tree, you'll see my Moxie referral link. So if you're, um, an injector at an established practice or you're looking to open up your own practice and scale it and you wanna potentially join Moxie, you can set up a. Like a phone call with them using my link.
And then there's also the link for the Scale Society, which basically gets you signed up so that way you're aware of like virtual webinars in real life events and any like live presentations. Um, and you can kind of follow us around. It's really great.
I feel like it's so important for honestly, any injector starting their own business or, or even if you've been in business for years, like it's maybe some of you, but, uh, me and John never went to business school
Uhuh,
like, so Yeah.
To have someone that understands that portion of it, I feel like is so important. And when, when me and Melissa first opened, it took us two years to hire a manager. And like once we did that, we were like, why didn't we do this sooner?
Takes so much off your plate. Yeah. And there's still some things, right?
You'd, you'd, you'd have to admit that you still do.
Oh yeah.
Um, you know that you don't give full reign to them. Oh, no. Just 'cause of that control and, you know, the privacy of certain things, but
Yeah. And the poor things, it's like I text them 24 7.
Yeah, I know, I know. There's
no day off.
Well, I always joke and I say, listen, management sometimes doesn't mean more money, it means more work.
You know, like, of course you could get paid maybe a little bit more in a management position, but like, but it's, it's a lot like, I mean, you're running your. Your job is to make sure that practice is running efficiently. Exactly.
Yep. Exactly.

Love you guys.
So we're in
busy season, we're in full swing. Mm-hmm. Um, have you seen, I know, I think one thing that we should, I wanna address is I think there's a lot of practices that are slower right now.
Mm-hmm. It's a weird year for people I've heard. Um, and, and, and even,
even you and I were texting about this in October, right? Like lots and lots September. Last minute cancellations and like Yeah.
Or like reschedulings and pushing. Yes, we,
yep. Exactly. Exactly. Mm-hmm. And, and I just, to me, and we don't ever luckily feel slow, but mm-hmm.
To me, to have like two or three gaps a day is kind of crazy, you know? Right,
right. So
even, even we felt it this year.
Yep. So I think, um, the mar I think the economy, I, I think definitely for sure, and I think it is getting over more saturated. Mm-hmm. The aesthetic aesthetics is so I think. With that being said, it's so important to find what sets you apart.
Absolutely. And, um, if you really wanna be the best and you're passionate, go to those conferences, show up on social media. Mm-hmm. Poster before and afters. Um, because the people that don't do any of that, those are the people that are gonna probably suffer.
Yeah.
And you know.
You have to you, in today's day and age, you have to build a brand.
Like you have to be on social media and people have to see what you're doing and see your results, because otherwise you're just, you are not gonna grow.
And if you're a part of a practice, I think it's obviously, obviously important for you to represent their brand, but it's also good for you to also brand yourself.
You can absolutely, you can brand the practice, but brand yourself. Absolutely. You know, with your personality, you know what I mean? Yep. Yep. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
Yeah, that was. Our episode with Erika Berry. If you guys haven't listened to that, you gotta go back and listen to it because she just is so inspirational.
Right. And the way she talks about social media, it's so true. Like it's free. We need to be on there. We need to be utilizing it. I don't know. A hundred percent. Yeah. I know you recently went through a rebrand. We're like. Planning, not a full rebrand for 2026, but we're gonna change up our packages and, and Okay.
Things like that because, um, and I'll, we'll put her on the screen. Heather Tve, I took her course recently and it was like, so eye-opening because mm-hmm. Two or three, four years ago being like a facial balancing injector and like uhhuh curating a regimen to people.
Mm-hmm.
Made you stand out.
Mm-hmm.
But now everyone does it
right.
So like, it's not really making you stand out anymore and they can find it down the street. Yeah. So we're just kind of trying to come up with new ways that we can make exhibit stand out from, you know, the competition.
That's so nice.
So lots of changes coming and everyone wants to kill us, but,
oh God. I know.
Well it's, it's good to, good to evolve.
Right? And it takes a lot of brainstorming for, you know, does like, you have to, you really have to sit down and and think it out.
Yep. For sure. Yeah, for sure. Um, but this time of year, I feel like every injector is hanging by a thread, literally. Oh. Like I, I just can't, like I have training in Albany tomorrow.
Oh no. I'm getting picked up at five 30. God bless. I will be in bed by nine 30. Yep. Best belief. Um, best belief. Especially the way you feel right now. The best belief. And then, um, full fricking week. I mean, yeah. Oh my God. Do you see like
20 people a day?
Yeah, it's, it's Tuesday through Saturday and it's, you know, I, I think I've told you this, Nicole, like, I wanna go down to four days a week.
Yeah. But I think right now it's just, I have to stay where I'm at now. I think once I get to the, to the new location for some of the listeners that haven't, don't know this and opening a book, uh, new office probably like in July-ish, we're going from 1500 square feet to 6,000 square feet. So it's quite, quite a bit bigger.
And, um, I think it's, I just we're expanding our services just a little bit. Making it more roomy. But I think when that happens, my, my whole goal is right, is to brand toxin P. Mm-hmm. And we're getting there and I think a lot of people, when they open up a practice and get, you know, um, get more injectors and more providers, I think that it's hard to get them the patient away from you.
Yeah. They wanna just come to you. Um, you obviously like. Try your best to say, oh, I've trained them, they're my mini me, right? They're blah, blah, blah. But they still want to come to you, right? Yes. 'cause you are the foundation. Um, so I think once we go to the new place, they're gonna be coming there for toxin power.
It's not gonna matter which provider of course. Right. You know, you want all providers to be the best, but you know what I mean.
Right. No, and, and having each provider have a unified approach, I think is the most important thing. Yes, yes. So it doesn't matter who you're seeing, you're getting the same approach.
And although techniques can be different, you know, the plan is the same and, and all that.
The consultation, everything from like the start through.
Yep. Which again, they leave on the back end takes. So much work.
It's so much work. It's so much work
and planning to meet and make protocols and you know, it takes, yes, it takes a lot of behind the scenes.
A hundred percent. A hundred percent. But if you, if you don't,
if you don't do it as a practice, you do, you lose, and you could potentially lose patients too because they, they are coming in there for toxin powder. They are coming in for exhibit. And if it's not a unified approach
mm-hmm.
Could turn people off sometimes too.
I know. Um, do you have many more Allergan trainings coming up?
I was gonna do one, but the date didn't work, so I think I'm be done for the year unless someone reaches out like last minute.
Yeah. I feel like last year it was weird, like December, they were like, no, no, no. Then all of sudden I had like two or three lit.
It was like last minute.
That was me too. I think they got, 'cause I think something happened with like budget, so all the reps ended up having like extra. So I did, I think I did like two or three last year in December. Yep. Which honestly probably burnt me out, but
I know I, yeah, I have one tomorrow. Then I have one in White Plains, New York next Monday, and then after that I think I'm good.
Yeah, for the year. Yeah. Yeah. Just to focus on the holidays and, yeah,
because it's gonna be crazy. I took a couple, it really is. I took a couple days off after Christmas.
Are you seeing, um, I think this is a worldwide thing. Are you. Uh, worldwide, I mean a national thing.
We are a worldwide podcast. Well, maybe one day, maybe.
Yeah. Listen, manifest.
We, we are on Spotify, so we are worldwide.
Yeah, this is true. Who the, who's the singer that Isn't there a singer? It's like worldwide is his thing.
Pit Bull. Is it Pit Bull or is it, I don't know. Where is it? Uh, not Fat Joe, uh, Mr.
Worldwide. Mr. Worldwide. Is it Pit Bull? Pit Bull, yes. Mr. Worldwide. Yeah. Yeah. See pain. That's just,
that's what came to my mind when you said that.
Oh my God. I can't, um, what was I saying?
You said, are you seeing.
Oh, I think we're in, at least in the United States, I think because of the rise of regenerative medicine.
Yes. Mm-hmm. There's been I think, a little bit of a shift. Like Yeah. Change. Yeah. I, how we assess our patients. Mm-hmm. Right. Our consultations. Right. There's more opportunities for more, more treatment options for our patients that isn't just filler, obviously. We know our patients need filler, but, um, have you noticed any impact at your practice with filler?
Honestly. No,
that's great.
Um, think, why do you think that is? Again, I think it's the branding. So we genuinely in our area are known for exhibit Face, which is our package of five syringes. And you come in and it's a full facial harmonization. Um, and I just think because people come to us knowing. Already, and that's what they see on social media and, and that's mm-hmm.
Heavily what we do. I think that's why, um, I think if I was online post sculpture all the time, or I was heavy on bio regenerative, I would be seeing that a lot too. But do you
think it's too, also because of your consultations and how you word them? Because I feel like there's a lot of that filler fear still.
Do you? Mm-hmm. Are you finding, I mean. I,
I genuinely too. Okay. So we show every patient before and afters. Yes. Um, and I think that's huge because to show them, one, they're not gonna look fake. But I actually do it to create realistic expectations. 'cause I do think everyone thinks they're gonna look like pillow face.
Yeah. And when you tell them they need five syringes, they're like, oh my God. Absolutely not. But then when you show them a before and after, they're like, oh, actually that is so subtle, you know? Right. So for me, it's. It's setting realistic expectations, but for them it's realizing like, oh, it actually doesn't look crazy.
Mm-hmm.
Um, but yeah, so consultations I think are a huge part of it. And we do. Mm-hmm. We never tear anyone apart, you know, it's always, yeah. If you came in for your laugh lines, we're gonna start discussing your laugh lines, but I'm also gonna ask you, is there anything else that you wanted to talk about and.
Laugh lines, you know, people always say like, I don't feel comfortable bringing up other parts of someone's face. But when someone comes into, you say for the lower face, there's so much going on aging wise that has happened in the midface and the temple, that if you don't discuss that with them, you're doing them a disservice.
So it's not. It's not like you're picking them apart. You're, you're explaining the aging process and you're also explaining your diagnosis. You know, like there's a reason that you're seeing this lower face. Mm-hmm. We need to treat the midface and, and you don't have to do it today, but we are gonna have to get there eventually, because if we don't, you're gonna look unnatural.
And it's, it's the way you word it,
it's the cause and effect, right? Mm-hmm. You know what I mean? I think I, it is so funny. Like I feel like I've. I've learned way more about fat pads and how important that like yes. Like I'm serious. Like No, I swear. I, I think anatomy, like at this stage where I'm at in my career.
Yep. I've, I want, I really wanna focus that on like what fat pads actually mm-hmm. Hypertrophy, which fat pads go away quicker. Really. I, I tell you,
I think co Deana is a huge reason for all of that. Yeah, I think so
too. He
does such a great job educating on the anatomy and like, you're not just replacing the volume loss.
When you replace volume in, in a certain area, it's gonna help support other fat pads in other areas. Yeah,
yeah. Like Right. I think the maer fat pad mm-hmm. Gets bigger, the nasal eal fold fat gets bigger. Mm-hmm. And then obviously when these two get bigger, that's why we look like a little bit more like mailer moundy here.
Right. And you have to, like, we, everyone notices the laugh line because of the fact that it's, yes. Yep.
And if you're a side sleeper, it's gonna make it worse. And you're a smiler all the time. It's make it worse. Yeah. Um, I definitely do think that, um, people need to stop being so scared at Yeah. Filling, um, nasally, be folds.
I think that mm-hmm. Agreed. They, they look really good when they're done, right? Yeah, absolutely.

I know you. What's your go-to product? Velo. Juven Velo. Juven Velo for nasal. Yep. You use Skin Vive though too?
I do, yes. Yes. So Skin Vive I like to use on someone that has a lot of etching and might be like a little bit of a thinner patient velo. I like, like I have velo in myself. Um, I also have skin Vive, but if you have like a little bit of a deeper fold, Velo is my go-to if it's really, really deep. Okay. I actually am someone that still uses Ultra Plus there.
Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, so you are, you picked skin Vive. When they're not as deep.
Yep.
And then you pick velo when they're a little bit deeper. A little
bit deeper. Yep.
And then do you normally do 0.5? Point five? Yeah. Are you one and one? Does it really depend?
Point five. Point five.
What are you doing when you do Piriform
0.2 to 0.3
Of what product?
Uh, typically Voluma, but I do, I will do velo there too.
I think people are surprised, like, you know mm-hmm. When I'm doing private trainings. Um, um, when I'm doing private trainings and I'm doing Voluma to the Piriform mm-hmm. Um, they're like, what? Like, that's a bulky product. I'm like, well, no, it's bone.
Right? You wanna mimic
bone, right? You
wanna mimic bone, and you want that nice lift here to support. Mm-hmm. You know, this area, I mean, I've done velure here, don't get me wrong, like to bone, but it just doesn't give that nice like lift and structure and longevity, you know?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It doesn't, yeah, it doesn't give as much projection and, and.
Yeah, probably doesn't last quite as long,
and I feel like whenever I'm treating midface, whether it's anterior medial cheek or lateral zygoma, I'm usually always treating the piriform. Right. Um, just because they kind of go hand in hand. It's absolutely, it's a three point. It's the piriform, anterior, medial, and lateral.
Mm-hmm. Absolutely. And going back to your point, like. With learning the fat pads and
Yeah.
You know, it's, if you know the anatomy and the under, like, I feel like we get questions all the time, like, well, how do you really know exactly where to place filler? Yeah. And when I'm explaining it to like a newer injector, it's lights and shadows, you know, like you're looking for those, those areas of shadowing and, and trying to bounce light off of them.
But it's, it's genuinely knowing the underlying anatomy, right? Yeah. Like if you, if you know what's going on underneath the skin, you can connect the two and figure out. What's going on?
Well, what did I tell you? I or I called you two days ago. Mm-hmm. I had a patient who, I did Temple Filler on a week and week and a half ago.
Mm-hmm. And she healed beautifully. Um, she ends up calling the office two days ago and says that all of a sudden her left temple's sore. It's a little swollen more than the right. Um, whenever she chews or like, opens her mouth like that master. Mm-hmm. Is it, it contracts and it's sore. Um, so I had her come in and take a look at it and.
If I didn't know or have a deeper understanding of anatomy, I wouldn't, I wouldn't have known that. It's the temp. So whenever you're depositing filler mm-hmm. To the periosteum, which is bone in the temporal area, you're also putting a little bit of that. So that product is still gonna go into the temporalis muscle.
Yep. So, 'cause it's right, it's like hugging the bone. Um. And if you have a grinder or a clincher, which she is, and she's admitted that over the past week she's been gring and clenching more, it can kind of aggravate that filler a little bit and it's most likely what's happening is causing that. So I sent her in some prednisone for eight days.
I'll reevaluate her to see how she's doing, but who knows? I might have to do a spot dissolve right on her if she continues to. I have issues. It's just so weird that it's just the left and not the right. I know. Yeah. But her cap refill was normal on the left. She had no redness, thank god. No hotness, no hot heat or whatever.
Um, so it was just, I think it was just that filler was being was Right. And those two muscles, those two muscles, those muscles
working together and, and exactly. One's taken over for the other, because the temple's. Mm-hmm. Healing.
Yeah. 'cause there's, there's two muscles mastication, the masseter and the temporalis muscle.
Yep. Something to note when you're treating temples, guys.
Yeah. And treating Macers, because
yes,
if you're taking away someone's masser muscle, you're gonna potentially make their temples look wider because the temporalis muscle is gonna work harder because the masseter is no longer
mm-hmm.
No longer working, which is a good and bad thing for some people.
Right.
Some people can use the volume there.
They could.
Yeah.
I know.
So it can be a good thing, but, mm-hmm. But yeah, definitely. I think the underlying anatomy is a huge thing.
It is,
you know, especially when people are like, oh, I have such a hard time hitting like the lateral cheek. I'm like,
mm-hmm. Well,
think about, close your eyes and think about a skull,
right?
Where is that zygomatic arch sitting? Mm-hmm. Like think about it, and then take your needle and go in, you know?
Yeah. A hundred percent. Yep. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yep. Yep. What are you drinking?
Oh, I'm having a. A non decaf tea because my ass has been so freaking tired.
Oh, really?
I, Avery was sleeping, sleeping through night, and he's no longer sleeping through the night.
Um, no, I'm not pregnant. Okay. Promise you that.
Oh my God. Okay. Can you just get your period?
Yeah. Like, okay. I'm literally coming off. John knows because I. Was, I don't even know what to call it. My wrath. I was taking my wrath out on John. It was,
you're fine. It was like typical. I figured like stressful day.
Yeah. I'm like,
and then I'm like, sorry, I, I'm on my period. No, but Avery's waking up at like four in the morning now.
Oh, it's too, that's too early. And then it's like,
you know, you don't go back to sleep and then you're just up all day. So
I know, and I'm
not, for anyone that knows me, knows I do not drink caffeine, so like mm-hmm.
I, the fact that I need caffeine is a crazy thing.
Now, Nicole, you are an ambassador for American Med Spa. Mm-hmm. Association. The conference coming up in Vegas.
Yes. Yep. I
think it's what, April 9th of the 11th. April,
yeah, ninth of the 11th. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. So you have it blocked on your calendar, correct?
I do have it blocked on my calendar and me.
I don't know if my rn, Alicia is, will be able to go. Um, but I, Ashton and Claire will. Mm-hmm. Um, which is great. Um, and then my husband's gonna go too, but tell me, tell us a little bit about that. You are an ambassador of the S Block conference. Mm-hmm. I think there's a link for people if they want. Right.
Tell us about that. Yes.
So I have a post on my page and a link in my bio. You can get a hundred dollars off your registration. It's amazing. I believe it's up until like. March, sometime in March. Um, but AMS Spa, I mean, it's incredible because they have so many different speakers. Mm-hmm. The lectures are quick because of that, so it's usually like 20 minutes or so.
Um, but there's just like, there's wellness, there's injectables, there's business side, you know, there's so many different things that you can see while you're there. And let alone, like the networking alone is, is worth it. Mm-hmm. You know? Yeah. And we always say that networking is one of like the biggest things.
Right. Um,
and I met half the people that I know. Today in this field from when I went to Am Spa the first time. So mm-hmm. Very excited. Great to be back with them. That's great. Yeah.
I know. It'll be so much fun and it's, it gets such a great place to network too. Oh
yeah, absolutely. And, and
meet people.
John and I will be there.
Faye will be there. Yep. Olivia Salman's going, so that'll be fun.
Yep. It's gonna be a lot of fun.
We'll all be hanging out together, but my whole office is going ev well. Besides Melissa, obviously, I think. Oh, amazing. Yeah. Yeah.
And um, I'll be there for join Moxie too. Yep. Which will be fun. Um, so I'm sure there's gonna be something fun in the works there.
Oh yeah. I can't announce yet. Um, but something really cool too with Moxie is I actually have a virtual webinar coming up, um, I believe mid-December. It's in the evening, which is great. I think it's like around seven or eight o'clock. So it's usually after people get outta work. It's from home, so you can tune in.
It's with me, Olivia, Dr. Sadat. And Erica Barry. Oh my
God, you guys are gonna, that's gonna be so fun.
Yeah. And we're just gonna give kinda like our business such a good group business insights, you know, what we see coming for 2026, you know, uh, when it comes to aesthetics and what's coming along the pipeline.
So it'll be a lot of fun.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Oh, can I, I was telling Joey before you hopped on
mm-hmm.
My phone is not recognizing me.
Why?
I dunno. Do you think it's 'cause my, uh, my Botox is fully kicked in, guys?
Oh. Mm-hmm. For,
for my, for the listeners, uh, they can know my secret. I tried Dax this time.
Yep, yep.
How is it today?
Uh, I'm freaking loving it.
Okay, good. Let me, so, whoa. Oh, it really, I mean, you can't move. Well, you can a little, but
it's, I can a little bit. I'm still waiting for the, it's this part of my forehead, my Okay. Right side. I mean, my angry face is mm-hmm. I'm like, I'm laughing because of the fact that.
Like when we're on this, I've always had movement, so I'm able to like, like express at you. And now I can't express at you. No, it's, but my crows feet look good, right?
Your cro, can I tell you? It's the best they've ever looked.
Oh my god. Like so much softer, but like not gone. Gone. Like it looks good. No, look.
And I did my look too. Look, this side of thing's gonna need a little bit more, but.
Mm-hmm. Oh, they look great. Yeah. Yeah. I love Dax so much. Oh my God, I'm, yeah. I love it right now. I mean, the glows great, but I just feel like it kicks in quick. The longevity of, it's pretty good. I mean, it's three to five months, like, you know.
Yeah. Yeah. So I'm very curious to see like how it lasts and Yeah.
Because mm-hmm.
I know they in really quick, I was to Alicia
today and you know, she got hers in Midgut. Mm-hmm. And it's funny, like, so September, October, so we're on month three. Yep. And there's days where she lifts and she's starting to like maybe have just a slight crease.
Today she came in for the photo shoot. She was lifting and had no crease. Yeah, like it's weird. So like they say, the taper mm-hmm. Is slower. Which is really cool. You know.
I know. I feel like I notice that sometimes at the end of the day I'll be like washing my face and I'll like look in the mirror and lift and I'm like, why can I lift right now?
But then by the morning I can't anymore, you know?
Right. I know.
I guess you just work in the muscles all day long,
literally. Oh, I know. And sometimes I catch myself. I'm like, okay, make an angry face and I'm making it. I'm stop at. Yeah. I'd be like, don't that. Don't do that.
Don't do that.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm. So, John, are you guys doing any fun Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals?
Huge. Yeah. Oh my God. Huge Black Friday sales. We, and this is, honestly, it's our biggest sale of the year. I don't have a loyalty program. I might be working on that, but this is kinda like my loyalty to my patients. Mm-hmm. Yep. Um, it's, it's basically like a one day only. From nine to 5:00 PM um, you can either call or come in.
We have a thousand dollars gift card for 800. We have six 50 for 503 50 for two 50, and you can get as many gift cards as you want. And it's 20% off skincare, all skincare products, and 20% off LED light masks. That's amazing. Amazing. So if you're listening, come on over.
Come on. Over Black Friday.
Oh my God.
Me and my esthetician will be there. My, my assistant, my personal assistant, Jen's gonna be there. Good. Who a lot of my patients know, but she's gonna be bringing bagels and mimosas. Yeah. And it's gonna be great. Oh,
it's gonna be a fun day.
Oh my God. So much fun. Yeah. Nice. Yeah. Yeah. What about you? What are you doing?
You do eif.
We're e-gift cards. Yep. Mm-hmm. So we do everything online. Um. And yeah, we just have, because we have the Repeat MD app, which any injector's listening, if you own a business, the Repeat MD app is out of this world. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. They've made a ton of advancements to it, and it's absolutely incredible.
Yeah, that's great. Um, so we're gonna be doing the wholesale via that app, so
That's awesome. Yeah. And we, yeah. So you can be remote.
Yeah. Yep. We offer, um, like, so sorry.
Oh my God.
All right. I'm mailing you some Mucinex. This is
so sexy. I need Rin. I need Rin. Yes,
yes.
Oh my God.
No, but we do virtual regimens now.
Oh, okay. I saw that. So,
yes, it's like, um, you can meet with Bri or Nikki via like Zoom, um, and they basically come up with a skincare regimen for you and we mail it straight to your door.
That's amazing. So I
think we're gonna do some deals on that too, and uh, get that rolling.
Yay. Because who
doesn't love skincare for like Christmas?
You know?
Oh, I mean, that's like, who doesn't Yeah. That's like, yeah. That by the can't go the lot. Perfume, paone, all the great things. Yeah. The amount of
fuzzy socks and
mm-hmm.
Bath and Body Works. Yeah. Lotions you get, right?
Yes. Yes. You're so right. Can't, you're so right. Can't go wrong. Can't go wrong. Oh my God.
God. But don't,
don't get that for people. Get skincare from me and John. They'll, they'll appreciate it more.
A hundred percent. A hundred P. Oh my God. A
hundred PA hundred PA
hundred a p.
But yeah, I definitely, I don't know, I'm telling you like my phone, I, it won't recognize me.
It's a little odd. Nicole Apple,
and it just started like two hours ago.
Apple. Apple,
you know, I cooked this morning and my phone is like, who the hell are you?
Oh, is that why?
Did you see what I made? And
no. Is it on Instagram?
Yeah, I made it. No. Oh,
I haven't seen it.
Oh yeah. You were super busy today. I forgot.
It's okay. It's okay.
Um, I made a potato frittata and broccoli cheddar.
Turkey, broccoli, cheddar pasta.
Wait, I love this for you.
Thank you.
Wow. I gotta cook. I got a
cookbook,
miss Chef. Oh, really? Well, you know whose cookbook I'm receiving very soon?
Oh, that's right.
Amanda Grippo.
That's right. Oh, you know what? Well, now I'm gonna need it too. Yes. Now I'm gonna need it too.
So she's mailing me her cookbook.
Amanda Naples Cannot wait. Because she's like a little chef. I figured it's make
a few things out of it and send me pictures.
I'll, it'll be a Sunday. It will not be a weekday. Yes, I'll tell you that much. I don't know how that woman cooks during the week. God bless her after seeing all her patients. But all her patients,
no, seriously.
Oh,
best wife, ever
busy lady. Could never be me. I know. My husbands like you cooked. Are you okay?
Mm-hmm. And then. But really fun.
Oh, I was, God. I was like, I was like, oh, did he just like, was he about to say something? He shouldn't say what? No,
no. This week something really fun. Olivia is coming up. Olivia Salmon. Yes. Yes. She's coming up to Syracuse. She's gonna do a training at my office and she's doing a round table for events and then she's going to New York City and you bitches are all going out, which is so fun.
Yes. I,
I know. I wish I could freaking go, but
so jealous.
I know. Mm-hmm. I am. I'll have a lot of fomo.
I know. I'm excited. We're gonna do Faye taking us to Fly Fish. You went there?
Flying Fish? Flying Fish. I can never read the name of it.
Yeah.
Phenomenal.
Um, but there's get the mar,
get the margarita with
Tahin.
Okay. Is there. More things than just seafood. We know I don't, not a seafood guest. Oh,
oh, everything. Yes. There's pasta. There's this pesto pasta. Oh, it's it creamy. It's so good. There's the pizza's good. Um, they have, I don't know, they have like sushi. They have all this other shit. Yeah. But it's really, really good.
Good. I'm excited. Yeah. Yeah. You'll
love it. It's, and it's a vibe. We're we're gonna hit the
town.
Oh yeah.
I was cracking up. 'cause I was texting Olivia, I'm like, um, what hotel are you staying at? 'cause I'll, I'll get us another room. And then she was like, uh. She told me where and then she was like, you guys can stay.
Well, you can stay with me. 'cause she forgot Faye isn't right there. And I sent her like a, a meme of like three people was three chickens squeezing into bed. And she's like, oh my God, I forgot there's three of us. Oh. Because asked one of my brother-in-laws some places, he lives there. And, uh, he sent me a few, I, we were cracking up.
They're like 1300 a night.
Oh, it's insane. I mean the one hotel when me and Cory went, I mean, it was literally a thousand a night. Oh yeah. I mean, we went for two nights, but Oh, well. It's insane.
Yep. It's New York City. I know, I know. It's, it's Christmas in New York City. It is. It's,
everything's more inflated, but Yep.
So it's such a beautiful time.
Oh yeah. I'm excited. We're gonna have a lot of fun.
Oh yeah. So, um, Nicole, isn't your esthetician Brittany? Mm-hmm. Right. Is she, what's her big announcement for modern beautycon? Oh, she, I'm dying to know She got
selected. Yes, she got selected to speak at modern Beautycon 2026.
Yes. Oh my God, that's so exciting. Yeah. We're, we are so excited. I'm like, honestly, I'm so, so proud of her. Yeah. When she told me I was. I was shocked. Like I just never thought it was something she would apply for before. Do we
know what, do we know what she's talking about? Yeah. So she's
talking about like collaboration in like the med spa, you know, practice.
So, um, estheticians working with injectors and how to get each other busy and over, you know, crossover. Ooh,
I love that. Yes, yes. Wait, that's, that's actually really fun and honestly like, that's gonna be a great presentation. Yep. So,
and like I, she just, you know. She's our spa manager, and I feel like we've together built so much in two years.
Like obviously we have 6,000 patients and we're a top two 50 practice in under two years, you know? Yeah. So it's like, she's like, I just feel like people need to hear about what works. So, yeah, a hundred percent. That's great. Super, super excited. I
love that.
Yeah. So that's another conference that John and I and, and
Oh yeah,
Faye and everybody.
We'll be going to, obviously.
Yep. Mm-hmm. I can't wait. Wait. Britt
on. Yeah, we're very excited.
Yeah. Yeah, definitely. Ams Spa, modern Beauty Con. Mm-hmm. Aesthetic X Extender, which is in Boca. I freaking love that place. Yeah.
I'm going this year, moving the family vacation so I can be there.
Yay. And then probably Med Spa, MedPro.
Mm-hmm. Meds Pro, gr that, whatever. That's really good.
That was just recently, right?
Yeah. Yeah. I, I've heard really good things that I would love to go to. Is it iceman, the nurses?
Oh, yeah, yeah. Yep.
Yeah, I really would. I, I feel like a lot of people went to that and they were, yeah. You know, some OGs, you know.
Yeah.
Um, needle art was just this weekend and actually a lot of people seem to have like a lot of good feedback on that too.
That's good.
So mm-hmm. Lots of new conferences up and
Yeah,
up and coming
for sure. I love it.
Yeah.
Oh my God. Well, that was fun.
Yeah. Thanks for listening guys. This is just more like a little like life update.
Life update. Hop
on chat.
Yes, I know it. And then, um, our next week, uh mm-hmm. Well, actually I don't even know, like I don't it if this will
go out, who knows before who. Yeah. Maybe we sh we'll do this one first and then yeah. Next week we'll have Dr. Pinto on.
Yeah. That's great. Mm-hmm. I love that. Which is great.
And Dr. Pinto is located in Jersey, right? Yep.
Yeah. He's in Marlton, New Jersey. He owns, yep. Vibe Aesthetics. I always remember how to say it 'cause I laugh when we went to the Skin. Vive launch.
Yeah. Oh, skin Vive Skin vibe.
Yeah. He's like, I just got all of my patients to know how to pronounce my practice.
It's, and, and they come out with skin Vive and his practice is vibe. So he is like, we call skin vibe. Oh my.
Yeah. Oh.
So yeah. So we'll have him on in the next episode, but he's amazing. Be great. He's an elegant trainer, guys.
Yeah, he's, yeah, he's a really great guy. Um. All right. Well thank you guys for tuning into this week's episode of the Filming and Podcast where we dive deeper into the world of aesthetics.
Till next time, guys,
