Happy New Year, everyone! Grab your heating pad and stay in your holiday PJs with us as we reflect on an incredible year in the aesthetics industry. In this episode, Jon and Nicole take a deep dive into the personal and professional highs and lows of 2025—from the "Year of Yes" to the reality of running a growing practice.
We’re getting vulnerable about the lessons that changed us, the skincare trends we want to leave in the dust, and the "unbiased education" we hope to see more of in 2026. Plus, Nicole shares the nerves behind her upcoming live cadaver injection, and Jon opens up about his personal journey with grief and growth.
In this episode, we discuss:
➡️The Power of Delegation: How a personal assistant and trusting a team saved our sanity.
➡️Pushing Comfort Zones: From public speaking to live stage injections.
➡️Aesthetic Trends to Ditch: Why the Hyaluron pen and "parking lot injections" need to stay in 2025.
➡️What’s Exploding in 2026: The rise of bio-stimulators and the focus on skin health.
➡️Personal Growth: Navigating new motherhood, business expansions, and finding your "posse."
➡️Our 2026 Treatment Plans: What we’re doing for our own faces this year (Skinvive, PDGF, and avoiding the "waxy" look).

Fill Me In (00:00)
Okay. All right, guys, welcome back to another episode of the FilmyIn Podcast where we dive deeper into the world of aesthetics. My name is InjectorJohn. Welcome back and happy new year, everybody. And we still have our Christmas PJs on. It's still the holiday and I can't, like, I mean, I'm sorry, these aren't coming off.
Nicole (00:00)
Yep.
and I'm aesthetic nurse Nicole.
Happy New Year! Yeah. It's still the holiday, right?
No, I'm wearing this the rest of the day. Sorry everyone.
Fill Me In (00:29)
You know? Yeah.
And this time of year, I don't want to do a damn thing. I'm a homebody. I become a hermit this time of year. And... Yeah.
Nicole (00:36)
Me too, especially in the cold. I need to be in my heating pad, my blankets,
and my fireplace.
Fill Me In (00:41)
And with that being said, because I've become such a hermit this time of year, I feel like I take so much better care of my skin because I just want to do all the things to my skin and get on a good skincare regimen, hydrate, all the things, yes. So we're gonna be talking today a little bit about kind of like new year, new you, like what goals do you guys have or what we have for the new year. But we're also gonna talk about trends that we see happening in 2026, what we wanna leave behind.
Nicole (00:51)
and hydrate it and yep.
Fill Me In (01:11)
things that we've learned over the past year, as well as business owners and injectors. So we have a list of things that we're going to go through today. And I think you guys will love it.
Nicole (01:17)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah. All right, let's get started. Let me pull up my list.
Fill Me In (01:22)
⁓ god,
I'm starting to sweat.
Nicole (01:25)
So we want to start with the aesthetic ones or like personal and practice growth. That one? Okay, okay. All right. So what was our biggest lesson 2025 taught us as injectors and business owners?
Fill Me In (01:29)
sure, why not personal? Yeah.
I want you to go first, because I talk too much.
Nicole (01:40)
gosh, okay. 2025 taught me a lot of things. And I think being pregnant and giving birth and having to step away from the practice was one of the hardest things. So I think 2025 taught me how to delegate and rely on people and how to trust because I feel like...
Fill Me In (01:44)
Hmm?
Hmm.
I can only imagine.
Nicole (02:05)
Of course I trust my employees and of course I trust especially my managers, but it's so hard to actually step away and my business partner, Melissa, trust with my life, but it is so hard to disconnect and I never thought I'd be able to and I didn't, but I did enough. I did enough, but I just feel like 2025 taught me in order to grow, you have to trust and you have to let go a little bit and you have to delegate in order to get other things done.
Fill Me In (02:11)
Mm. Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Nicole (02:34)
and it's
okay to be present in other areas of your life as well.
Fill Me In (02:37)
Yeah, that's really good. Well, mine's not gonna be too much different. But it's so true. I think for me, with our new practice coming in to play this coming year, we're gonna be going from 1,500 square feet to 6,200 square feet. And it's a huge jump and my practice is slowly growing. Not as like...
Nicole (02:39)
That's mine.
Hahaha!
Mm-hmm.
Huge jump, huge jump, yes.
Fill Me In (03:05)
as far as employees, not as fast as you have, my practice is definitely growing and there's been way more opportunities, which has been amazing, ⁓ you know, within aesthetics and outside of aesthetics. So I think with that being.
Nicole (03:14)
Nope.
Yeah, John did
a John did a commercial this year for a diner, didn't you?
Fill Me In (03:22)
I did and for
the Everson Museum, which is a museum where I live and but then there's also, you know, I did some paid partnerships with Botox and Juvederm. I know you did that this year. I did one with SkinMedica, which is all of all of these parts that you'll be guys will be seeing this in the new year as well, which is really exciting. ⁓ But also like speaking engagements, I think we've been doing more as far as with Allergan and with ⁓ just other businesses like for me, Moxie as well. So I think for me,
Nicole (03:25)
Yes.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
See ya.
Fill Me In (03:51)
The biggest takeaway that I found out I had to do was give up that control and delegate like you said. And the best thing I ever did was get a personal assistant. ⁓ This was very unplanned, ⁓ but it happened and she's working two days a week in my office and then three days a week for me and Corey personally. And it's really taken that burden off of me. I mean, she does.
Nicole (03:56)
Yep.
Hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (04:14)
She takes care of my three dogs. She takes them to the vet. She cleans our house. She does our laundry. She does our dishes. She empties the dishwasher. She picks up our dog poop. I mean, she does everything and she picks up dry cleaning. mean, anything that we were doing before. And honestly, I look back and I see what I'm doing now and I'm definitely able to focus more on checking my emails. I was awful, awful at checking my emails. I was always the last one to look at it, right?
Nicole (04:19)
Mm-hmm.
everything.
Mm-hmm.
Yep. Yep. me too.
As Joey knows, neither of us check our emails.
Fill Me In (04:44)
⁓ my God, you know, but I definitely
think my biggest goal this, this past year was to make sure I was checking my emails more and being more accountable. think also learning more about the business side of things. I think that was huge for me. My husband played such a huge role in that for the first year or two. And since he's become an attending physician and he's now a provider at a family practice, right. In our area, it's.
Nicole (04:55)
Yeah.
Yes.
Fill Me In (05:12)
He's had to focus more on that. So I had to take that control over more. And I think I've been talking to our lawyers more and talking to our accountants more and just doing more meetings.
Nicole (05:23)
You just...
And don't you just feel like you just understand your business more now too? Yep. It's crazy to think back and be like, how did we do this? Yep. Yeah. Yep. Mm-hmm. Yep.
Fill Me In (05:27)
I do, I do. Yeah, and I've never been someone who had a planner. I mean, I still don't, but I have my phone and my calendar. Let me tell you, this calendar is filled with my whole life. This has my
whole life on it now. So I think my biggest takeaway is definitely delegation, asking for help, and finding those key players for my personal life and for my office.
Nicole (05:49)
Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (05:56)
to make sure things are functioning the way that I want them to and finding people that you can trust.
Nicole (06:03)
which is so hard and it does take time. I know like we're saying like, find people you trust. is so hard to find them. I know that, but once you find them, relying on someone and asking for help, like you said, is, 2025 taught me that. Like you have to, because you will, you'll go crazy and you'll be, I don't even want to say burned out. It's just that you genuinely feel like, how am I doing all this? know?
Fill Me In (06:08)
So hard.
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Yeah,
yeah. And ⁓ on top of like, and this is like my personal life, on top of like aesthetics and like those opportunities I just said, I mean, me and my husband, we purchased some investment properties. ⁓ We're going to be doing Airbnb. You know, we have some other things going on. So like, we're not just doing aesthetic things we're doing. We have multiple businesses now. So ⁓ it's just finding people. Yeah, it's great. It's great. it's awesome. And I'm so happy about it.
Nicole (06:36)
Hmm.
God bless you.
John's like, I'm doing Airbnb.
I'm like, great, I'll come stay at your Airbnbs and ⁓ maybe I could clean your Airbnbs.
Fill Me In (06:53)
⁓ yes. Yeah, it's, you know, my God. I
don't think you have the time for that, Nicole.
my gosh. Yeah, and something else that we'll have to highlight and I'm not going to bring it up, but I think you can read the room as we'll have to announce something too. That's going to be coming in the new year too, which is really exciting. I know that that doesn't give a lot to our listeners right now, ⁓ but.
Nicole (07:05)
I'm trying to get my free stay.
Mm-hmm.
Yes, yeah.
It'll connect a little bit. Yeah, yeah. And no one's pregnant. No one's pregnant. No one's pregnant.
Fill Me In (07:26)
There's going to be a little bit more connection with more than just a, huh? No one's pregnant. And Nicole's
not my surrogate. And neither is Olivia for those of you guys, Olivia Selwyn. Yeah. my gosh. it, yeah. Yeah, there is. It's so cool. And I can't wait. I don't know. It's just so fun. I just.
Nicole (07:37)
And neither is Olivia.
for everyone that follows John on Instagram. But yes, there's exciting things coming for 2026. Yes. It's good. ⁓
and we're gonna do big things together. I know it. Okay, what did you do this year that pushed you outside your comfort zone professionally?
Fill Me In (07:53)
Yeah, we really are. Okay, what's another question?
⁓ that's easy. think speaking on stage, I think. I think everybody listening here probably thinks that you both think, you guys all think we're not saying this, but like public speaking has never been my forte. I am very extroverted, but it's different when you're on that main stage. I always had that little bit of fear. So I think finally doing round tables and doing that Elevate program. And I think that really helped me gain my confidence. And I think this podcast helped me gain my confidence as well. Talking as well.
Nicole (08:04)
Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (08:30)
in front of people. What about you, Nicole?
Nicole (08:30)
Absolutely, yep. ⁓
Well, yeah, talking on stage, mine hasn't happened yet. Yeah, I did elevate, but I think it might've been last year, it was the end of last year that I did it. This podcast has been something that pushes me a little bit out of my comfort zone. I remember like...
Fill Me In (08:37)
you, but you didn't elevate or accelerate.
But still, yeah.
Nicole (08:49)
the first episode, even though that wasn't this year that I did with John, literally the next day I got a migraine because I was so stressed about, like, and like people think me and you have known each other forever, like I barely knew John then and we decided to do this. Yeah, yeah. Like, no, we barely knew each other when we picked this up. We just decided, like we said in the last episode, when we do things, we do them. And I remember being so nervous to sit down with you and just like shoot the shit and like.
Fill Me In (08:59)
People think that we work together. And it's funny, mean, yeah. I know. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Nicole (09:14)
I had like a panic attack that I'd say that I got a migraine and I had to do two trainings and I was dying. So this podcast has definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone and...
Fill Me In (09:21)
Well,
I thought a full blown runway model was walking into my office when we did our first episode. She came in and I was like, I was starstruck. And meanwhile, I was like, you're gorgeous. Like this five, five, eight, five, nine person walking in with this gorgeous hair and the skin was glowing. And I'm like, I have to sit across from you and make a conversation about like what's going on.
Nicole (09:35)
can't with you, I can't with you.
⁓ my God, I love you. But
it's so funny, right? I love talking about that too, because like, you think everyone else isn't nervous, but they are. Like everyone has a little bit of nerves. Like, so I think it's so good to bring it up, but yeah. Having burritos together at three in the morning.
Fill Me In (09:48)
Mm-hmm.
⁓ yeah. Meanwhile, we were in DC at the SkinBeavetrain, the trainer going out, we went out, we were having burritos together at three in the morning, blah, blah, blah, but it's
just different when we're actually, yeah. Yeah.
Nicole (10:04)
It's so different, yeah, so different. But my major
getting me out of my comfort zone is gonna be my Codafana. I'm injecting for Codafana on stage. Yes, I'm so excited. Yes, next weekend. And I've been losing sleep over it. yeah, so I'm excited. It's gonna be like, I think it's like 200 attendees. So it's like the biggest program I've ever done. So I've been, I'm doing it with Jen and Melissa. If you guys don't know, they're from New Jersey as well. They're incredible injectors too. And I'm like so excited to have them. DeMaio, right, DeMaio? And...
Fill Me In (10:11)
next weekend. Such a huge accomplishment. No, such a huge accomplishment.
It's Jen. Jen, what's her last name? Yep. And then Melissa. Yeah.
Nicole (10:34)
Giordano, yes, yep, yep. So yeah, very excited.
Fill Me In (10:35)
Giordano. Very cool. Yep. And Dr. Pinto.
Nicole (10:38)
And Dr. Pinto, I'm so thrilled to have Dr. Pinto. He's just like incredible on stage. So I am treating the chin and if we have time, I'm gonna be treating the lips, so.
Fill Me In (10:41)
Yeah. And what are you going to be doing on stage?
Yeah,
and kind of tell our listeners like what you're going to be kind of walking through a consultation, right?
Nicole (10:55)
Yeah,
I'm basically, as of right now, the plan is I'm going first and I'll be going over like consultation with Dr. Pinto, I guess, ⁓ and kind of how like, you know, this program is to show the anatomy underneath the skin and then translate it to injections. So I'll be doing the injections. Dr. Codafata will be like showing you the dissection and the actual anatomy on a cadaver and like relating those two. But kind of the point to get across is like.
Fill Me In (10:59)
Mm-hmm. Yep.
Mm-hmm.
which we love.
Nicole (11:20)
It's great that you do this training and you see this anatomy with the injections, but if you're not nailing the consultation, like the likelihood of you being able to do these treatments is, you you're never gonna be able to translate it. we wanna make sure that we, ⁓ thank you. So we wanna make sure that we nail the consultation, do what we need to do in the consultation so that you can treat people and do the treatments that you're Mm-hmm. Yeah, at the same time as the injections. Yeah, yeah.
Fill Me In (11:30)
That was so well said. Yeah.
But this is, but that's so huge. I mean, think about it. You're gonna see the anatomy and then they're gonna, you're gonna move forward and yeah, and then you're gonna do the injection. For
any new injector that's looking to advance themselves, this is huge. Like this is something that you should attend and look into. Ask your BDM, ask your boss at work. Like these are the things that you should attend. Cause it will better, we need to understand and know the why behind the injection and what is underneath. You know what I mean?
Nicole (11:49)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Yep.
Yeah, yeah, so I'm so excited.
Yep. That is what I say all the time. Yep. If you
can just picture someone without the skin on their face, that sounds like so weird, but if you could picture underneath the skin, already you're just a better injector because you know what's going on under there. So, yes.
Fill Me In (12:11)
Yeah, yeah.
You really are. So can be conscientious and know the appropriate depths
with injection and like the do's and don'ts and stuff like that.
Nicole (12:22)
Right, yeah, and what's
gonna give you a better payoff and what's not, but yeah, so very excited and also very much pushed out of my comfort zone with that one. And also something me and John have done this year, which 2026 I think will be a little different is we said we weren't saying no, right? This was our year of yeses and even if it scares you to death, you're saying yes. So I think we both pushed each other out of our comfort zones this year, which is good, I'm thankful for you. So if you had to describe 2025 in one word,
Fill Me In (12:24)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm. Good luck.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. We're saying yes. Yep.
We really did. Aw, I'm thankful for you.
Nicole (12:51)
What would it be and why? This is a hard one. I even know. I need a dictionary real quick. What's your word? feel like you have it you don't want to say it.
Fill Me In (12:55)
⁓
chaotic.
Nicole (13:05)
Shit show?
Fill Me In (13:05)
my god,
no, just one word.
Nicole (13:10)
you
Fill Me In (13:12)
One word, I really, I'm 33 years old. I'm obviously very young, but I really, I can't even describe to you. I think I've had so much personal growth this year as far as just being who I am. And I, for those of you that don't know, I saw medium back in June. ⁓ My dad died when I was six years old. So I haven't obviously talking to him, my mom and my sister pretty much raised me, but.
Nicole (13:15)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (13:42)
my dad had come through during the medium, was very unex... It was obviously expected he's been passed, but like was still very unexpected and I actually had to regrieve his loss almost because I was six when he died. So I didn't really know him too well. But you know, when you get older, you really realize how much ⁓ a father figure plays a role in your life. And ⁓ so that was been interesting for my personal growth. I've had to kind of get in touch with really, you know...
Nicole (13:49)
Mm-hmm.
Right, right.
Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (14:11)
deep dive into my emotional, I guess, part of my brain a little bit and see a therapist and that's been really helpful for my personal growth. So yeah, I think, what was the question again? Yeah, to add to what you're saying, the chaos, there's been, it's just, I've had personal growth and then I've had professional growth.
Nicole (14:14)
Right?
you
One word.
One word to describe it. Yep.
Fill Me In (14:39)
There's just been so much happening personally, personally wise and then professionally wise. think also too, with, ⁓ toxin pout just everything's just been going up on an upward, which is great. We're getting so much busier. So I think just balancing the professional and the personal, like I've had to make time for that personal growth, which is so important because professionally.
Nicole (14:55)
Yeah.
Right, you can't excel professionally if you're
destroyed personally. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Fill Me In (15:07)
Yeah inside so I
think I think and especially being there for my team and being that leader that I want to be I Really had to make sure that I was okay so I really made sure this past summer to take care of myself and Which I did and guys. I'm okay
Nicole (15:11)
Yeah, yeah.
I but
no, but I love that you're sharing that because right, like everyone sees everything on Instagram and everything looks all fine and dandy and like everyone goes through stuff and like it's how you push through it and find, you know, your way out that matters. Yeah. I love that you're being vulnerable and sharing this.
Fill Me In (15:25)
Yeah. ⁓ this was a really tough year for me, you know, and ⁓ I... ⁓
Thank you. And my mom and I, we've had our star girls growing up. My mom was a nun before she had four kids. And so there's that, literally a cloistered nun. And ⁓ she's a wonderful person. She's a beautiful person.
Nicole (15:43)
Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (15:54)
inside and out such a good person but you know we've she wasn't you know and I I don't you know we never know what's going to come our way right especially when you have kids you just don't know but ⁓ so I think just navigating through my personal life this year was an interesting year but and I'm still growing and I'm still realizing things and going from that it's just funny like it is true though like when you get in your 20s and you're having fun you're kind of working
Nicole (15:56)
She wasn't expecting you, was she? That's right, that's right. Yep.
you
Fill Me In (16:22)
up to who you want to be. In your 30s, you're getting to where you want to be. And that's where I am now. But I think also in your 30s, you start realizing things that happened when you were younger and it affects you as you're getting older.
Nicole (16:36)
Mm-hmm.
Right, it's like something clicks and you almost like, like family makes sense all of a sudden. And you're like, oh, this is like important stuff and you know. Right, yep. Something happened here, yeah. Yeah.
Fill Me In (16:42)
Well...
You're like, why am I acting the way that I'm acting? There must've been something that happened when I was younger or like how, you know what I mean? So
it's been really interesting to see. ⁓ anyway, ⁓ so yeah, yeah. I think one word to describe this past year, it's been chaotic, ⁓ but it's been such a rewarding year for me both personally and professionally. What about you?
Nicole (16:54)
Yeah.
Chaotic to say the least Yeah
I love that, John.
I mean, my word would be very similar. feel like, like I, new mom. What a year, oh my God. And let me tell you, right? Like, so I just want to say, if you're a mom, like go you. This is some hard stuff. And I feel like people try to tell you that all the time, but like you just truly don't understand until you're a mom yourself. And like,
Fill Me In (17:13)
my God, you're new mom. What a freaking year you've had. Yes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Nicole (17:35)
It really does take a village. mean, besides my family, all my exhibit family, like, I would not be able to do it without them. And ⁓ yeah, I mean, it's been same thing, like a lot of growth, but a lot of change and a lot of change that I've had to, you know, be okay with and figure out my new rhythm, which I have. Those first few months, you're like, what is going on? You're just surviving, you know? But no, it's been...
Fill Me In (17:49)
Yeah.
Nicole (18:03)
the most incredible year and like you guys saw him, he's like the best thing ever. He's so adorable and my God, my family's been amazing and everyone at Exhibit, like it's so funny. Has anyone watched Wayward? Did you watch Wayward on Netflix? You know at the end when like the cult is like, it's our baby. We laugh, I'm like that's my joke, it's Exhibit's baby. But definitely a mixture of chaos and like you said, balance. But it's been definitely the most rewarding year yet.
Fill Me In (18:06)
He's the cutest. Ugh.
Mm-hmm.
I did, yeah.
Yes.
It's exhibits, baby. Yes.
Yeah.
Nicole (18:33)
And I hope to say that about every year. Yeah.
Fill Me In (18:35)
Oh my God, of course. And who knows what's to come? You never know.
I'm trying to think. I think for people tuning in, I can't even imagine Nicole. mean, you're owning a business. Obviously you are a trainer. You are injector provider. And then you're a new mom. And owning a practice, you want to be that leader for them. And then you took time to step away to be a mom too. And it's obviously a sacrifice, but also a reward.
Nicole (18:48)
Mm.
Mm-hmm.
Right.
Fill Me In (19:05)
And it's like, yeah, that's such a hard balance. And it's like, you almost have to like evaluate, like.
Nicole (19:07)
Yeah.
Right, and some days
you're like, am I doing enough? And then some days you're like, of course I'm doing enough, but then, you know, it's crazy in your head. But I'm also so fortunate, my husband is a fireman and he works ⁓ every fourth day. So like we were able to like rotate around each other and he's just been such, I mean, I wouldn't be able to do what I do without him.
Fill Me In (19:17)
Right. Mm-hmm.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And listen, Nicole,
I know, and if you have another kid, get a nanny. That's the easy, you're gonna, it truly is because I think, know, and I, yeah, yeah, that's all.
Nicole (19:37)
Exactly, yeah, that's the answer right there. Yep. Yep. No,
but people with multiples, God bless you. I don't know. think I'm, I think I may be a one and done-er. We'll see. We'll see. But God bless. Nanny.
Fill Me In (19:46)
God bless.
You never know, but yes, yes. Yeah. I think the answer is if you have two, it's nanny. I
truly, especially in it, and I think that speaks volumes in it too, if you want to continue to grow in your career. I think that there's some people that are okay. Like once they have kids, they want to step back and they want to be that mom and maybe work two to three days a week. That's great. It's like whatever works for you. But if you really want to be the best in what you do and you want to continue to like go up that pendulum, right? In your career.
Nicole (20:07)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (20:19)
It's you have to take a step back and say, okay, how do I keep doing that? But still be a parent or still be a mom. And you might have to like, I know for me and my husband, if we have kids, you we would love to have two kids. Oh, we're going to have to have a nanny because he's a family doctor. I do what I do. You know, we have goals, we have dreams and you know, and of course we're to be the best dads that we could be possibly, but we're going to need help. And my mom's 77. She's not watching my kid every day.
Nicole (20:24)
Right. Yep.
You're gonna have to, yep. Yeah. Right.
Nope.
Be, right, yes, yep, and be there and be present, but right, you need the help, absolutely, Right, yep, that's
not happening. Right. Yep. Yeah. Yeah.
Fill Me In (20:47)
His parents are 65, 66 years old. By the time we have kids, they'll be probably 70. They live an hour away. We would never do that to our mom and dad. And
for those that have their parents that help them so much, it's so amazing. ⁓ But that's also sacrifice for the parents to give up four days a week to watch your kids too. That's such a huge thing. ⁓ So anyway, yeah.
Nicole (20:59)
Yep.
Right, Yep. Right. Yep.
Yeah, no, it's a big, big change for sure. the best thing ever. Best thing ever. yeah, he looks just like me. But that, the, the Bower jeans are strong. For those that don't know, I never changed my last name. Obviously my husband's last name is something different. So that's why we're saying that.
Fill Me In (21:12)
my God, but the best thing ever. God, he is literally your twin.
He's a bower. Sorry, sorry Kev. Sorry Kevin, but he is. Mm-hmm.
Wait, wait, and what's his
last name? Ugh, sexy. ⁓ Avery Fox Andriano. He does, he does. But even Kevin doesn't look fully Italian to me. Yeah.
Nicole (21:33)
Adriano. Yeah, he's very Italian. And he looks very Irish like his mother.
Yeah, he's not like super, yeah. Cause
he's part of him that is Norwegian. So I feel like Avery pulled that in his Irish and hopefully he'll tan you guys. Let's hope. ⁓ Okay, so what skill or mindset shift truly changed your work this year? I feel like that kind of is the same answer we've been giving, right? Like the whole kind of giving into a few things exactly. And allowing other people to help and.
Fill Me In (21:52)
So true.
Yeah, right? Mm, fingers crossed.
Yeah. Yeah.
Giving up the control. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
Nicole (22:14)
and something we let go of in 2025 that made everything easier, being a people pleaser. John's favorite part of me being pregnant was me being a bitch. He was like, I've never seen this side of Nicole before.
Fill Me In (22:17)
Mm-hmm.
⁓ yes, being a people pleaser.
I
was like, whoa. I was like, this is great. Like she's learning to say no. This is amazing. ⁓ No.
Nicole (22:38)
You could literally run me over
and I'd be like, it's okay, it's so fine.
Fill Me In (22:41)
Yeah, I think it's really important as you get older
to think about quality versus quantity and to keep the people in your life that truly make you happy and get rid of any toxicity that you have. If there's anybody that makes you feel negative or if there's negative people in your life, get them out. You want people, especially if you want to excel in life and be successful and be a leader in whatever you want to do, you have to surround yourself around like-minded people.
Nicole (22:48)
Yes, yep.
Mm-hmm.
Yep.
Mm-hmm.
You have to be absolutely,
Fill Me In (23:11)
Right? Mm-hmm.
Nicole (23:11)
absolutely. Yep. And business owners listening and stuff too. Like I had a really, I don't want to say tough start to the year, but like we did have to go through and we have, we do not have a high turnover, right? We have like very, a lot of the employees that we started with, we still have, but there have been a few where like we did have to kind of start fresh and especially the reception area and like.
Fill Me In (23:26)
Right.
Sure.
Nicole (23:32)
It's okay to have to do that. you recognize that something is wrong, it's okay to be like, you know what, this isn't working out, and figure out what will work, and find the right people to fit in those positions. I feel like we started off the year like, this is like, how are we gonna find the right fit? And it's there. You just have to your due diligence to find it and fill the position correctly.
Fill Me In (23:38)
Mm-hmm.
100%.
Yeah. Yep.
It's so
true. Couldn't agree more. What's next?
Nicole (23:57)
Well, let's see. Okay. What's one thing that we did in 2025 that we're absolutely bringing into 2026?
Fill Me In (24:07)
Hmm.
Well, I'm not gonna lie to you. I think I'm gonna continue to say yes.
Nicole (24:14)
Yup.
You're gonna continue to say yes to the opportunities. Okay, when we do this episode next year, we'll see, we'll see.
Fill Me In (24:18)
So chaotic might be the same word in 2026.
But right now I'm still in the yes mode. So I'm going to continue to bring that forward because I truly do love what I do. And as much as I, I get run down twice a year and I was run down like a couple of months ago, I was so sick and it just, it happens, right? Like you, reach your, your peak and sometimes you just need a break. Your body tells you to stop for a minute, but I will continue not to stop for sure. And I think I'm going to say yes to certain opportunities and I want to continue to, ⁓
Nicole (24:30)
Yeah.
Yep.
Yes.
Fill Me In (24:56)
speak and try to get on podium ⁓ and do that. So I'm going to bring that into 2026 and I'm going to continue to delegate in 2026. think it's I have a new set of a team kind of like Unicol. I have a new set of a front desk. I found our people, new office manager and another front desk. And I think they're getting really
Nicole (24:57)
Mm-hmm.
Yes.
Mm-hmm. You found your people. You found your people. Yep.
Fill Me In (25:21)
they're improving, they're advancing, and the more that they're advancing, I'm able to trust them more with things. So I'm gonna continue to put more on them so that way I can focus more on just being a provider in the room and ⁓ just facilitate extra work things.
Nicole (25:32)
Absolutely,
Yeah, I feel like it's hard to like people that aren't in this business might not get it, but like when you own a business and you're also the injector, like obviously priority falls on injecting because you have to bring in revenue in order to stay open. it...
Fill Me In (25:50)
Mm-hmm. You do? Yeah.
Nicole (25:54)
people don't realize how hard it is because we are seeing how many people a day and then you're trying to do all the back end. So finding those people that actually fit and matter is huge. I'm hoping, it's not something that I want to stay, it's kind of like something I want to continue doing, like you said, saying yes, but I'm hoping that the feeling of the stress of saying yes gets a little better.
Fill Me In (25:56)
That's so hard. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Yeah.
Yes. Yeah, yeah,
Nicole (26:15)
I'm
Fill Me In (26:15)
I know.
Nicole (26:16)
someone that's like, and I don't want to say I'm like high anxiety, I'm not, but like situations that get me out of my comfort zone, they definitely obviously make me uncomfortable. And so like leading up to them, I have a little bit of anxiety, but it just causes me to prep more, which I feel like makes me better in the moment when it does happen. Like, cause I'm over prepping essentially. I'm like, what if someone asks this? I have like 20 different scenarios and I have like what I'm going to say for everyone.
Fill Me In (26:23)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
That's where you and I are so different. It's so funny.
Nicole (26:41)
John
likes to wing things. I do not like to be put on the spot. I need a script. I need a plan. That's why this podcast was so hard for me because obviously it's not scripted. Like this was the hardest thing for me. I think it's been good for me.
Fill Me In (26:54)
No, I literally die. Do you know what stresses me out? Being too prepped. If I get too stressed before a presentation or before whatever, if I have to give a presentation, I'll look over the PowerPoint the night before and then that morning and I'll gather my thoughts and that's it. Right, you have to, you have your own script, I get it. But everyone's so different.
Nicole (27:05)
Yep.
to be able to like say it with my eyes closed.
Yeah, yeah. Yep.
Fill Me In (27:24)
And I'm not gonna lie, when I go on, when I do the roundtables, it's so funny, the very first one, I was a little bit trying to do more scripted and I was trying to be overly prepared. And afterwards I go, you didn't really fucking talk about anything that you prepared. Because I'm looking at people in the audience and I'm like, different things come to my mind. Or like.
Nicole (27:28)
Yeah, yep.
Mm-hmm.
talk about anything that you planned.
Right. Yep, and you just go
off, yeah.
Fill Me In (27:45)
I'm looking
at someone who I know and it's something we might've talked about before and I'm like, oh, this is a good example to like tie into the topic that I'm talking about right now. And I'm like, and then I get on a tangent, then I'm like, wait, where am I? Like, what spot am I? Squirrel, you know? So yeah, I don't know. I don't know. And then there's Olivia, our friend, who can literally look at a PowerPoint once and then she can talk about the whole anatomical.
Nicole (27:52)
bring in. Yep. Right. Yep.
What slide is it? Squirrel. Well, maybe that's what I need to do then.
Yes, yep.
Everything.
Fill Me In (28:13)
the
chemical da da da da.
Nicole (28:16)
my God. But right with
anything, she does it like hundred times a week. So like, I just feel like it's like, the more you do it, right? The more you do it. So I'm hoping that that, I know, just incredible. Just be like, can I borrow that for a minute? But yeah, so I'm hoping in 2026, as I continue to say yes, my, my, that anxiety wears off a little bit. Cause I feel a little bit more prepared, you know?
Fill Me In (28:20)
I know, repetition.
I don't know, her brain? I seriously, I'm sitting there and I'm like.
Yeah, so funny.
I think it will. Yeah.
You know?
Nicole (28:45)
You know? Okay, what's one thing you wish more injectors understood in 2025?
Is that a hard one, I guess? Is it?
Fill Me In (29:00)
Why do I want to laugh right now? don't... I don't... What is something that
injectors... that I want them to better understand?
Nicole (29:10)
Know that you wish
more of them knew like this past year. Sorry, there's like hair in my mouth.
Fill Me In (29:13)
Okay,
there's a couple things.
⁓
I think bridging the gap between bio-stimulators and filler.
Nicole (29:27)
and
Fill Me In (29:33)
less people, think education. I think that there should have been more talk about, which I think there was a lot of talk about trying to debunk how filler can make you look fake and all of that, because we had to deal with that cat scan that went viral about that woman with the filler. And I think that's really what it stemmed from. But I think a lot of people over the past year were bashing certain product brands in the beginning of the year, not so much as much now that I'm seeing, but
Nicole (29:47)
Yes.
Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (30:02)
I think just, I just wish that there was more, just talk about that. I'm not even, I'm not even, what helped me out?
Nicole (30:11)
Yeah, yeah. Well,
no, and it's like, we don't want to go on our tangent again, because we did that on the last episode, but like, yeah, like, genuine education, like making sure you're fully educated, whether it be like a non-biased opinion, I guess is what I'm trying to get at. Like, yeah, like, like, and I think even, even when I came into this field, right? Like it's almost like you like find a brand that works for you and you like stick to it. And it's like,
Fill Me In (30:16)
Yeah.
Non-biased, non-biased opinions. Thank you.
Nicole (30:38)
But it's so important to look into things and fully understand and like, you're gonna bring something on, like know it like the back of your hand. And if there's something that you don't agree with, know it like the back, look at the research that's saying use it and also look at the research that's saying don't use it and then formulate an opinion. Because I feel like we just get a biased opinion and then those opinions come out and it's just, then it's on social media and you just pick up whatever you pick up.
Fill Me In (30:45)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
You just took the words out of my mouth. That's what I meant to say. That's
what I was trying to say. An unbiased opinion away from any filler company, any neurotoxin company, the real, yeah, I think just being authentically you and being educated and not just jumping on a bandwagon just to be controversial. I think that that was really something I wish.
Nicole (31:09)
Yes, yes, no you were saying it. Yes, yes.
Yes, and being educated, Mm-hmm. Yes, yep.
2025 did better. Yeah, yeah.
Fill Me In (31:32)
did better on, you know? ⁓
And also, finding a different platform to debate on. think that would be huge. That's huge. ⁓ And respect for others.
Nicole (31:40)
Yes. Yeah. And you know, think respect for others, right? Like,
yeah, I feel like that's what we lacked this year was respect. Like, you don't see other professions online the way we are. And I know our field is very, very different, but I just feel like there's maybe a level of respect that we need to bring back to it.
Fill Me In (31:49)
Mm-hmm.
I know.
Yeah,
so unbiased, more respect, less controversial, and just more educating.
Nicole (32:05)
Yeah, we're all very smart. We're all very, no one makes, and no one makes any decisions to harm anyone. it's, it's, you know, anyway.
Fill Me In (32:07)
All of us are.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. No, it's so true. I mean, the majority of us use fillers, we use bio-stimulators,
we use lasers, use, we use multimodalities to give people the outcomes that we want for them, right? So I think we just have to make sure that we're unbiased about what we put out there and that we're properly educating the public and not putting too much misinformation out there.
Nicole (32:24)
Right. Yep.
Mm-hmm.
Yep.
Yes, misinformation, yes. Okay, let's move on to, I'm gonna do a couple aesthetic trends and then we'll just close out with a few cute ones. What are trends, like aesthetic trends that need to stay in 2025? I'm loving, obviously, for the past, I feel like 2025 is the year of facial balancing. Like that needs to stay. I just said balancing like you would. Balancing. I'm not from New York.
Fill Me In (32:37)
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm. Facial balancing.
Mhm. Mhm. Central
New Yorker. Yep.
Nicole (33:06)
No, facial balancing I feel like needs to be here to stay. And I think supporting with bio-stimulators is also a trend that is gonna continue to grow.
Fill Me In (33:11)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, I want facial balancing to stay forever and ever and incorporating biosimulators with the injectables so that way the skin can support the filler and the HA. think that continuing, think 2025 was also the year of skin health. So I think lasers, microneedling need to continue, which I think they will. ⁓
Nicole (33:26)
Yep.
Mm-hmm.
Yes, yes, yep.
Fill Me In (33:39)
but
I think we're gonna continue in 2026 to see some injectables potentially that could be playing a huge role in promoting skin health as well. I mean, we've had Skinvieve about two years ago, right? Which is the first ever skin booster to increase hydration from within in the skin, which is amazing. But I think hopefully we see more and more evolution with injectables and their impact on skin health as well.
Nicole (33:49)
Mm-hmm, right. Yep. Mm-hmm.
Yeah. Yes, I love that.
Trends that need to go for 2026. I feel like we've been seeing specific trends going for a while. ⁓ my God, you're right. You're so right. Actually, the patient bring that up to me and be like, do you guys do this? And I'm like, don't ever get that done, please.
Fill Me In (34:13)
God, that stupid Hylaron pen needs to go.
Yes.
The Hyaluron pen
needs to go. The videos that I see of providers administering neurotoxin and fillers in cars, in a pool, in public places need to go. Keep it in the office. That's my opinion on that.
Nicole (34:30)
Yes, yes, yep. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.
Yep. And you know funny? don't even like, people always ask like, my God, I Thanksgiving is like so fun at your house. Like the Botox does not leave my office. If you are a family member and you want a treatment, you are more than welcome to come see me. But that has not happened in my living room with no gloves.
Fill Me In (34:45)
Right.
Well, my sister didn't
get Botox for the past year because she never freaking visited me at my office. And she was a wrinkle mess for the past year and she was bitching up a storm. And I go, well, come and visit me. I'm not gonna bring it. And finally she did and she got it for the holidays. And I'm like, see, there you go. Yeah.
Nicole (34:57)
Yeah, yep. Yep, yep. You're like, well come in, right? Yep, yep, see? Exactly. All you gotta do is come to me. Exactly.
What do we think is gonna explode in popularity in 2026? I think it's definitely bad stimulators. Yeah, we're already kind of going towards that. Like I feel like it's just gonna continue. ⁓
Fill Me In (35:18)
No, bio-stimulators for sure. Yeah, the Sculptor, the Hyperdilute Radius, ⁓
PDGFBB potentially. Yeah, mean, for sure. ⁓
Nicole (35:28)
Yep.
Yeah, and I think
actual, like, I think people are realizing, like, they need to take care, and I think it's our education that's helping with it, but they need to take care of their skin, and that's not filler. Like, and Botox, it's not Botox either. Like, you gotta do these treatments that are actually gonna strengthen. ⁓
Fill Me In (35:43)
Yeah.
Here's the thing, and this is
a good way for you guys to incorporate skin health in your injectables appointments because injectables aren't the only thing that is gonna help your patient. The first thing that they see in the mirror is their skin.
So if you have someone coming in in their 50s and 60s with a lot of sun damage, a lot of skin laxity, and you just go at them with Botox and filler, it'll make them look a little bit better. But if they have a lot of pigment and a lot of static lines and a lot of laxity in their skin, they need lasers. They need microneedling. They might need a facelift, right? So if they're spending all that money on it, on those ejectables, and they're not seeing the results, it's because their skin's not looking good. And they're going to think that that money was all a waste.
Nicole (36:24)
you
Right.
Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (36:35)
In reality,
it wasn't, you just need to educate more on... A lot of times people come in and the first thing I'm having them do is doing three rounds of RF microneedling and an IPL first before I even touch them with injectables because I want them to take care and get on a basic skincare regimen.
Nicole (36:43)
Alright.
Great. Yep.
Start the year 2026 out with your consoles discussing skin and injectables. ⁓
Fill Me In (36:58)
Yes, yeah. But wouldn't you say that most
of your consults are ⁓ doing both? Would you say it's skin and injectables? Same. Yeah.
Nicole (37:03)
Yes, yeah, yeah, mm-hmm, yeah. And
I just feel like, especially nowadays, you have to. you know, I took... ⁓
Fill Me In (37:11)
Mm-hmm.
Nicole (37:12)
this course that I told you about, it's, I think we spoke about it on one of the episodes, but Heather Treveen, like she explains like, these people are coming to you and they might just have like lip filler on there, but like they're coming to you for a reason. They want, they want to know everything. And if you don't give it to them, like there's someone down the road that will. So like, there's a way again, that we talked about in the last episode to deliver things, but like, if you're not bringing it up, they're just going to go find it somewhere else because they are, they're looking for it, you know? ⁓
Fill Me In (37:24)
Mm-hmm. They do.
Mm-hmm. 100%. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
Nicole (37:42)
You might like this one. Is there a treatment or a technique you think will evolve or be replaced in 2026?
Fill Me In (37:52)
or technique that will be evolved while...
Hmm, there's a couple answers to this. I think that we need to do better at layering product. ⁓ So a lot of people just use Voluma to bone, Voluxta bone, right? ⁓ But learning the different realities of the fillers and using them to your advantage and then.
Nicole (38:04)
Mmm. Love that. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (38:19)
Also assessing their skin integrity and deciding, can I use voluma more superficially? Like, like, or should I switch over to velour? Even though that's off label, that would be better for them, especially in the lateral cheek, in the sub temporal region, just to kind of blend that area. So that way they don't look like an alien, right? so I think the, the multi layering of, of, filler would be a good technique to, I would like to continue into 2026.
Nicole (38:24)
Mm-hmm.
Right.
Right. Yep. ⁓
Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (38:49)
I would really love PDGF to come back into play in 2026 because so many patients benefited from that. I mean, my God, my PDGF patients were my happiest patients. So. ⁓
Nicole (38:52)
I know. Fingers crossed. Me too. Yeah.
Well, and that's I
we kind of got on I don't know that we really filmed much of it but we did talk about this with dr. Pinto to like it just sucks that all that controversy happened with that product because the results that we were seeing were Genuinely incredible and I mean I did it on myself. You did it on yourself like
Fill Me In (39:07)
Yeah.
⁓ next level. Mm-hmm.
Nicole (39:20)
Again, we always try things on ourselves before we do them on any patient, but it's just like even on the patients, mean, out of this world results. So it was just a little unfortunate that we can't really market that to our patients so much anymore, but hopefully that will evolve in 2026 too. yeah. All right, so let's finish out with a few of these. We kind of what we already went over, like what we learned about our leadership this year.
Fill Me In (39:23)
Mm-hmm.
Correct.
Hopefully that will evolve. Yep. ⁓
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Nicole (39:47)
and
the boundaries we've placed. But OK, let's finish with this one. What was our proudest moment with our teams in 2025?
Fill Me In (39:58)
⁓ I would say I feel like for me, we've really...
we've gotten much closer. I mean, think about it. When you're at work, you spend more, I mean, we spend more time with our work family than we do our actual personal families, right? So for me, I think it's really important to have a culture, a work culture that is like your family and that you can rely on and talk to and be open about. I'm an open book. Like everyone at my office knows I'm an open book, especially once you get to know me and...
Nicole (40:10)
Mm-hmm.
and our family.
Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (40:37)
I don't want to be known as that scary boss, you know, and I want to be approachable and hear about their life. So I think we've grown closer as a work team, but the providers wise, I'm just so proud of my providers because we've all done educational things outside of work to continue our education and provide the best outcomes for our patients. And it's just been so great. What about you?
Nicole (40:48)
Hmm.
Yep.
Yeah,
I think definitely the growth obviously like you were talking earlier, like we went from literally having two employees to having 16 employees including and then 18 with me and Melissa. But I think the growth and like you said, your employees, like the fact that they're willing to grow on their own and do all this other education and like Brittany speaking at Modern Beauty Con, like seeing them.
Fill Me In (41:06)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Nicole (41:28)
grow professionally too is like the most rewarding thing for me. Like I just feel like somehow I was a part of that and I helped kind of like push them in the right direction. And I always hope to do that for them and like adding Gab and Cammie and like Nikki are the recitition and we have Veronica our waxer, Alyssa lashes, like we've added so many things and I just feel like.
Fill Me In (41:36)
Yeah.
Nicole (41:50)
the growth together is the most exciting part and it's like just the best thing ever. And you said like creating a family, like it's so important. And obviously it's important to have respect for your coworkers, but I feel like they should feel like family. shouldn't, work shouldn't be like, ⁓ you know, like, I gotta go to work. Like, I think it should be something that you're excited to go to. And of course you should respect it, but.
Fill Me In (41:53)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, think
in 2025 for me, was actually that moment where I would go to, like, I just genuinely look forward to going to work. Obviously we love what we do, right, Nicole? But like, I genuinely love going to work because I get to see my staff and just be around them.
Nicole (42:16)
Yes, yeah. Yep.
Yep, yep. And doesn't it just, it just feels so good, like seeing Gab
and Cammie busy. Like I know that like we were a part of that and like, just seeing them grow with us is, is I think the most exciting part. Yeah, yeah. We, me and you both have like, we finally found our team, you know, like it feels good. Feels good. And I am so thankful for you 2025 and this podcast. feel like, again, like,
Fill Me In (42:31)
Mm-hmm.
And it's so heartwarming.
Yes,
Nicole (42:52)
We don't do stuff to just do it. Like me and you stayed very, and it's not easy. Me and John are filming this on a Sunday at 4 p.m. Like, find the time to make this stuff happen. And I just am so happy that I found someone like you that's like that in me. You know? We do, we do. Yep, yep.
Fill Me In (42:53)
Mm-hmm.
Yep.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Well you you I'm not gonna lie we hold our each other accountable We really do which I think is
helpful. Sometimes I don't want to do it. You push me sometimes you don't you know what I mean? So it's Yeah, yeah, and we because sometimes we can get so busy in like our professional lives and we're like, shit We got a we got a film like bubble blonde make the time
Nicole (43:14)
Yep. And you're like, come on, we got to get on. Yep. Yep.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, well, and you just, right,
sometimes you just want to use that Sunday to do nothing, but... No, but I just feel like we, me and you together and like starting our Patreons and like everything, like, like you said earlier, like finding a friend that pushes you and, you know, keeping like-minded people around you. Like, I just love you so much and I appreciate you so much.
Fill Me In (43:26)
Of course. yeah, of course. Yeah.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, ⁓ yeah,
I'm so grateful for you, for Olivia, for Faye, for Erica, just everybody. It takes a while for you to find your posse, like your group, you know, and.
Nicole (43:48)
everybody.
Mm-hmm. Yeah. Well, and I think back
to like going to conferences, right? And like, you just felt so out of place. You didn't know anybody. Like, now it's like, I'm like excited to go, because I know Faye's going to be there or Liv or you or like, you know, like, and you're like, good, I have like little friends in this, like Meg even in California. Like, there's just people we know now that you're like, this is great. Like, so. And our listeners, we're so thankful for our listeners. Like, I can't even.
Fill Me In (44:01)
huh. Yep. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Yeah. Yep. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I know. I love it. So grateful.
Nicole (44:20)
We can't say that enough. Like, this podcast is nothing without you. ⁓ yeah, yeah. We like to talk to each other, so we'd still film it.
Fill Me In (44:24)
literally nothing without you guys. mean, we would still do it anyway because no, we only do. And we also like, you know, I don't know. Like we
went into this hoping it wasn't, I mean, we just went into this saying, saying a prayer and saying, hopefully this works. And it's actually gotten us a few opportunities and it's been so great. And we're so grateful for you guys. And I think I, yeah. And I also think I'm grateful for the collaboration that this platform has given us because we've been able to meet providers, so many people and
Nicole (44:35)
Yeah.
Yep. Yeah.
So many people, you're so right, yep.
Fill Me In (44:53)
and learn from them and see how they do things and see different points of view. And there's so many ⁓ different ways for the right way of doing things, right? ⁓ And so it's been a really good perspective.
Nicole (44:57)
Yep.
Mm-hmm, absolutely. You're right,
all the guests we've had on, feel like I've learned something from every single one of them or multiple things. And it's definitely made me a better provider and everything, so.
Fill Me In (45:08)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, yeah, for sure.
And then I'm trying to think in 2026, what skin treatments am I gonna do in 2026? I'm still gonna do my RF microneedling with PDGF, topically, so gonna do that. I'm gonna do probably, I have rosacea, so I like doing my IPLs for rosacea. I am going to probably do Sculptra this year.
Nicole (45:21)
Yeah, tell me your 2026 plan.
Yep. Mhm, of course. Mhm.
Yes.
Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (45:40)
and just like filler tweaks here and there if I ever need them. I just had one just recently in September. I'm trying to think. Obviously keep up with my neurotoxin every three to five months. Bradley Cooper really freaked me out. I love him, but like the picture of him...
Nicole (45:43)
Yeah.
you
I know.
Yeah, that was
too much crow's feet Botox, too superficial cheek filler, I feel like. And Olivia said she thinks it was too high of a CO2. It made him look waxy. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (46:06)
You think? He almost looks like a- Go ahead.
I, it made him look waxy and we'll show the picture of him right now,
like this before and after. just doesn't look, ugh, I just, and I think that for me, I look at that and I'm like, wait, okay, I don't want to be that. Like I want to be glowing and dewy and like all the things, but I don't want to overdo it and do too many CO2s in a year or do too many erbiums in a year. So definitely want to keep that natural.
Nicole (46:19)
Yeah.
You're like, I don't want to be that. Yes.
Mm-hmm. Yep.
Yes, appearance, yes, yep. Yep. my God, I will stop you, don't worry.
Fill Me In (46:39)
Appearance and not waxy. I please tell me if I ever do because Thank you very
much. Yeah I sometimes like Joke to myself. I'm like, John like you've been doing this stuff since you were 24 years old Like what are you gonna look like when you're 60 like? Well, I hope so, but I don't want to look too freaky where like they're like how old are you like You know what I mean? Like we have to and this is so important to know like
Nicole (46:55)
You're gonna look incredible. That's what you're gonna look like
Yeah, right? Like, wait a minute. Yeah, you gotta age a little bit. Yeah. Yeah.
Yep. Mm-hmm.
Fill Me In (47:09)
You want to age a little bit. You don't want to look
Nicole (47:09)
Right.
Fill Me In (47:11)
too waxy. Like you're going to freaking Madame Tussauds, like House of Wax, ugh.
Nicole (47:13)
You, and that's right. Yes, yeah, no, we don't want that. We don't want that. And
that's why like when people come in to saying like every little line, I'm like, you don't want every little line gone. Trust me, trust me. No, you're gonna look like puffed out.
Fill Me In (47:21)
Guys, you don't want that nasolabial fold to be completely gone, Yeah, puffed
out or just too... Like, that does not look right.
Nicole (47:31)
Yeah, no, we don't,
no. You gotta have some lines to look human.
Fill Me In (47:37)
I don't know. kind of like it. Just kidding. I'm just kidding.
⁓
Nicole (47:41)
⁓
My lineup is my Moxie BBL in the winter. My micro kneelings in the summer. I actually do PDGF with both of those. I like putting the PDGF topically on both of those. ⁓
Fill Me In (47:49)
Mm-hmm. Great. Topically,
Nicole (47:57)
likely be doing my PDGF under eye again because these under eyes I'm not trying to be a critic of myself but yep
Fill Me In (48:05)
Hey, I mixed PDGF with Skinvieve last year and that I
was obsessed. I mean, when I tell you for the six months, people were like, what the fuck did you do? Because you're skin, I'm like, Skinvieve with PDGF. It was amazing. So yeah, I'll be doing that again.
Nicole (48:16)
Skin, yep, you got it, yep, yep. So
that's like my like, I guess skin strengthening procedures. And then obviously, yeah, they're like still pretty good though. No, I just can't, I can't, I can't. Okay, and I'll show you what I look like and you'll be like, don't do that again. You'll be like, okay, you were right, you were right. I'll find it, I'll find a picture. No, it's my double bubble.
Fill Me In (48:25)
Are you gonna hit those crow's feet harder? Are you gonna, they're amazing. Are you gonna go all the way around, Nicole? Just do it, do it once. I just wanna see it. I don't mind the dead appearance at the two week mark.
Get the fuck out of here with your double bubble.
Nicole (48:45)
Though I swear
I look exhausted. I'm gonna have Joey put a picture and you're gonna be like, ⁓ yeah, no, it's, it's not cute. but obviously my, actually guys, I'm loving the Daxify. Loving the Daxify. Scandal. Let's see. I'm, I'm kind of keeping track. I want to see how long it lasts because if it's just another three to four months, I'm literally just going to cycle through my Botox, Dispart and Daxify because it's all the same. Let's be honest. And you're still good?
Fill Me In (48:48)
Alright, fine.
Mm-hmm.
Candle. Yeah.
Well, I did my Daxie in June and I wasn't retreated
until the first week of November. Five months.
Nicole (49:15)
At that's five months.
So I'm hoping to be the same. Let's see. Let's see. But if it's three months, then I'm like, So I'll keep you all posted on that. Obviously my lip fillers, I do a little bit of like, I guess the mid, like lid cheek junction area. Yeah. And then obviously my medical grade skincare and all that good stuff. But yeah, that's my yearly plan.
Fill Me In (49:19)
Yeah.
Yeah, mid-face.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah, I like,
I like want this side to match this side. I know. But the perfectionist in me, I'm like, I think I need to do a drop of anti-irrhenial cheek right here to bone, just like voluma, just to pop this up. I think before I had under eye filler done like five years ago.
Nicole (49:43)
⁓ you sound like a patient now, John. supposed to be asymmetric.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Fill Me In (50:02)
And it's I honestly think I might even have to do like a little spot dissolve right here.
Nicole (50:06)
Do like a very superficial hyalinex. Just like, yes. And then if it comes down, you just refill it. But if it comes down a little bit, you might be good. Yeah. Have you ever tried, and I don't even know if they, let me actually look and see if they still make this. Have you ever tried topolies? I have it at my office. I mean, it's so, it's old at this point, but it's like a topical hyalinex. And you massage it into the area. Yeah, I think they do still make it. ⁓
Fill Me In (50:08)
I might, just to see.
Yeah, we'll see. Yeah, I might do that first and then do my next round of PDGF under eye, but we'll see.
No, I have it.
really?
Nicole (50:35)
and it's supposed to work over, I think it's like a week or two weeks, but it's for like Tindall. Yeah, so maybe I'll send you a box, give it a try. Yeah. All right, well this was cute. And I'm just like, it was fun to like look back on 2025 and like all the things we're thankful for. And then obviously what we're looking forward for in 2026 and.
Fill Me In (50:41)
⁓ interesting. Okay. All right. Yeah, that would be great. I might try it. ⁓ This is so cute. Love it.
Mm-hmm.
And cheers to all you guys and we love you and thank you so much for listening and tuning in every single every other week that we post and ⁓ and like Nicole has said in previous podcasts, like please like comment new DM us like any ideas that you have for future podcasts because that would be so helpful. ⁓ And yeah. Yes. Exactly. All right. Well, happy new year, everybody.
Nicole (51:04)
Yes.
Yes, yep.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah. Yeah, we like, we want to film what you guys want to listen to. So you tell us. Yes. Happy New Year.
Fill Me In (51:31)
And let's make 2026 amazing. And we'll see you in 2026. Till next time, guys.
Nicole (51:33)
Yes. And we'll see you in 2026. Bye guys. That was so good.
Fill Me In (51:40)
That
was good.
