Welcome, dear friend. Go ahead and take a breath with me. We have a blue mini moon on Saturday in Scorpio. And if you don't know me, I'm Alicia Skye, intuitive life and business coach. In addition to mindfulness coaching and consulting and the work that I do with my private clients, I lead two calls a month for the new and full moon. This is normally a private call in a private community, but this moon is, even though it's a mini moon, it is so expansive and the energy is so tangible. I didn't want you to miss out. So I hope you'll enjoy this practice. We're going to do a meditation, we're going to do some journaling. This is for you to level up, to expand, and we're going to lean into some Mars energy to get shit done. So right now, if you're sitting, I just want you to take a mindful moment and feel your feet on the ground. If you're lying down, just feel the weight of your body being held. If you're driving, be very careful. Wherever you are, just let yourself arrive. You don't have to perform being present. No one is watching you or paying attention. This is your moment. So just notice where you are. And go ahead, if you're able to, to place one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly. And as you breathe, just feel both rise and fall in perfect rhythm. And that rhythm that you're feeling right now is that same rhythm that moves the tides. The same gravitational pull that shifts entire oceans is moving through you as we speak, because your body is roughly 60% water. So you are not separate from what's happening in the sky. You're made of the same stuff that responds to it. And tonight we're going to talk about this full moon in Scorpio because the moon does what it does and it pulls things to the surface so that you can see them clearly. So to kick off this call, I'm going to pull a card for us. So go ahead and set an intention. And whatever card is about to be revealed, you are going to receive some clarity, some guidance, or perhaps even a confirmation for this pull. So perfect. This is light body, crystal grid, transmission and activation. It is no accident that you found your way to this video and you found your way to my work because you are a starseed and you are ready to level up your relationship, not just with the universe and your spirituality, but your relationships in general, especially connected to the moon and how the moon helps you navigate your life in the world because it does. I had a client text me today who said, I always get my period the first day of the full moon. Is that weird? It's actually normal. It's actually really, really healthy. And that's why we call it a moon cycle. Now, not everybody who is female, who is still bleeding, is going on that cycle or that timing. But if you are, then amazing. And the other thing about transmissions, this is a very intuitive card pull. You are receiving information. Are you mindful enough to hear it? The echoes of your thoughts are there for a reason not to torture you and not for you to suffer, because your guides and your angels have a message for you. If they feel scary, that's usually the ego trying to warn you because the ego cannot exist without a body. Your spirit, however, is eternal. So if those messages that are coming through are guided with love, that is true intuitive information. It doesn't mean you're not going to get an intuitive hit that seems fear-based that guides you to make a change in your life to potentially save your life or help someone else. But you'll notice the difference between a message for guidance that feels a little scary on the surface, but is not actually something that is there to scare you. So notice these transmissions and these activations within your own intuitive abilities. And if you're just starting your own intuitive journey, that's one of my favorite things to talk to you about and to help you develop your intuition. And the moon is such a lovely way to do that because the moon speaks to us because our body is so much water. So there are three things that make this moon extraordinary. And I want to walk through each one because when you understand the layers, you start to feel why this week has already been so intense. So the first thing is that this is a blue moon and a mini moon. This is the second full moon of May 2026, which makes it a blue moon. You know that phrase, once in a blue moon, it exists for a reason because this is rare. And on top of that, it's a mini-moon, the smallest and most distant full moon of the entire year. The moon normally sits about 239,000 miles away. A supermoon pulls it as close as 221,000 miles away. But this one, this one is about 252,000 miles away. So it's about 13,000 miles further than usual. And if you saw anywhere else that the moon is actually in Sagittarius or any other sign, that is not true astrology. We are doing sidereal astrology, which is what the astronomers used to use. Astronomy and astrology used to be the same science. So if you look up at the sky and you look at Scorpio, you'll see that's where the moon is actually sitting. If you want to learn why this is different or why you may have thought it was a Sagittarius moon, I have an episode in the Brilliance Method podcast with my Asterian astrologer who practices sidereal astrology, but primarily Asterian astrology, where he uses the actual placement of the stars in the sky. It's called The Wisdom of the Stars with Jade S. Luna. So now we're going to think about the combination of this moon and what's happening astrologically. So we are in the most emotionally intense sign in the zodiac. I love my Scorpios. Scorpio is packed into the tiniest, most faraway lunar form right now. It's like the universe is whispering instead of shouting. So the invitation here isn't to push through with force, it's actually to get quiet enough to hear what's trying to come through. The second thing is that the moon is sitting on the fixed star, Antares. Okay, now maybe there's a different way to pronounce that, but I call it Antares. Now, Antares is the heart of the scorpion. It is one of the four royal stars in the ancient world from being known in Persia as the Watcher of the West. And in Babylonian records, they call it the creator of prosperity. And its name in Greek is Anti-Airs, meaning rival of Mars. And when you look up tomorrow night or tonight, if you're watching this on Saturday, you're actually going to be able to see Antares right next to the moon with your own eyes. It's going to be really bright and both will be at its highest around midnight. I'm in central time. So go outside, look south, and you will see it. Antares carries Mars-like qualities, but with something bigger woven in. It has this capacity for expansion and courage. My dog is sitting behind me this whole time, and now he wants to lay down. He's in every single one of my videos. So if you watch my podcast or have been on any of my live calls, this is my little goat. Okay, so back to the star. It has this capacity for expansion and courage that is not reactive. It bridges mental alertness with the courage to act on what you know. So think of this like discernment plus action, not impulsiveness, not recklessness. This is clear-eyed, deep feeling, embodied, knowing that then moves. And the third thing is Mars is strongly aspecting this moon. So Mars is currently at full strength in sidereal Aries, its own sign. So from there, Mars casts its powerful eighth house aspect onto the moon and Scorpio, which is also a sign that Mars rules. So what we have is a moon completely drenched in Mars energy because the sign it's in is Mars rules, the star it sits on is named for Mars, and the planet aspecting it is Mars itself. So at full power, it is in its own home. So this is fire meeting water in the deepest way possible. Kind of like this is the energy of transformation of the forge, not deconstruction for its own sake, but the kind of heat that reshapes things into what they're actually meant to be. My husband loves the show Forged in Fire. So that's why I brought up the forge, because when they forge the sword or the knife or whatever it is, they they drench it in that water to hold its shape. So let's talk about the nakshatra because this is where the teaching really lives here. So the full moon falls in Anu Rada Nakshatra. So its symbols are the lotus flower and the triumphal archway. So its deity is Mitra, the Vedic god of friendship, alliances, and devotion. Its planetary ruler is Saturn. So if you're like, wait, you lost me on all of that. Stick with me. I'm going to explain it. So let's start with the lotus. A lotus doesn't bloom in a greenhouse, it doesn't bloom in a perfectly controlled environment with ideal conditions. A lotus roots in the mud and it grows through murky water and it opens at the surface into something so exquisite. You don't get to skip the mud. The mud is the medium, and the lotus doesn't bloom in spite of where it's planted, like so many of us who are like angry about where we are or where we've come from. It blooms because of it. It's part of the lesson, it's part of the journey. So the name Anu Rada itself comes from Anu, meaning after or following, and Rada meaning prosperity or good fortune. So Anu Rada is literally what comes after. And we're on the precipice of abundance. So it's that star that says, Well, there is something on the other side of this. This is a gateway. This is the archway you walk through after you have earned that passage. So this is some good karma right here. And Mitra, the deity, is unlike most Vedic gods. He doesn't have dramatic myths. He doesn't slay demons or kidnap anyone or perform cosmic feats. Mitra is this quiet, steady presence who makes sure that promises are kept, friendships are honored, and bonds remain true, like the best, most loyal friend you've ever had. And in the Rig Veda, Mitra works alongside Varuna, who governs cosmic justice to maintain cosmic order. But Mitra does it through daylight, through warmth, and through connection. So he is that sunrise that helps dispel loneliness through the simple power of genuine friendship, which is something that I treasure so much. So this is not energy of like overproving grand romantic love. This is energy of the friend who shows up, who's got your back, that colleague who listens, that a relationship that's built on mutual respect and shared purpose. Now, let's get into the practicality of all this so that you can use it in your life and in your business, which is my favorite thing to do. So Scorpio is the sign where the moon is debilitated in Vedic astrology. So the moon represents your mind, your emotional body, your capacity to feel safe. In Scorpio, the emotional body is in its most uncomfortable placement. But this is where feelings run hotter and deeper and more raw, and there's a tendency to fight, to obsess, to try and fixate on shit and really spiral. But the thing about debilitation, it doesn't mean that it's broken. It means that the easy default settings aren't available. So you can't coast on emotional autopilot. You have to actually engage with what you're feeling and be present with it rather than just reacting to it, which is what I want you to do all the time. So this moon is really going to drive this in. And here's where Mitra's teaching becomes medicine when the emotional body feels overwhelmed. What heals it is not more intensity, it's genuine connection. It's the friend who sees you, the relationship that holds steady even when you're in the mud. Mitra says you don't have to do this alone and you shouldn't try to. And I want to add that you are not alone at all. Even if you feel you are or you think you are, there is someone who loves you, who cares about you, who has a minute for your ear and your heart. And Anurata also has a shadow side. And at a full moon, shadows can get illuminated. So this nakshatra can produce like clinginess and codependence and overattachment, idealizing people or partnerships to the point where you kind of lose yourself in them. So the desire-oriented mind of Anurata can also mean that letting go is not really its strong suit. So you have to be really aware of that. So here's the question that this full moon is asking you What are you devoted to? And is that devotion nourishing you or depleting you? Is your loyalty actually loyalty or is it fear of being alone? If you want to pause this and journal it out, please do. Let's bring this into your actual life, both personal and professional, because this full moon is working on both levels, whether you realize it or not. So in your personal life, this full moon is illuminating your deepest emotional patterns around connection, trust, and where you place your devotion. Because Mars is lighting this up from Aries with all that fire and initiative. There's going to be this energy of, well, I need to do something about this. And that can be powerful if you channel it through Saturn's discipline, since Saturn rules this nakshatra rather than Mars's impulsiveness. Okay, so we want to lean into discipline and mindfulness, not being impulsive. So if relationships have felt heavy or strained this week, then that is this energy working. And here's where the mini moon quality really matters. This doesn't need to be this big dramatic confrontation. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say to someone is a quiet conversation where you hold your power. That deep truth can fit in just a single honest sentence. So give yourself that grace to trust yourself to communicate with self-compassion. If there's someone in your life who consistently disappoints you and you're bending over backwards to not disappoint them, this full moon is asking you to look at that honestly.
SPEAKER_00Why are you afraid to disappoint someone who keeps disappointing you? That's not loyalty, right?
SPEAKER_01That's a pattern. And Anurado's whole teaching is about devotion that nourishes, not devotion that drains. I just love that question. Why are you so afraid to disappoint someone who constantly disappoints you? Setting a boundary is not mean. It's the lotus choosing where to root. It's that easy. So in your professional life, the energy is just as alive. Anurata is literally called the star of success. So the triumphal archway symbolizes victory and achievement. But an Anurata style of success doesn't come from the grind or the hustle. It comes from cooperation, from genuine alliances, partnerships, from building things with people you trust who trust you. So if you're navigating business decisions right now, this full moon is asking you to look at the quality of your professional relationships. Where is there real loyalty? And where is there just convenience? Who are the people you're building with that would still show up if things got hard? And here's the action piece because Mars and Aries is giving us real like get it done energy right now. And you might be tired, but you're also motivated. There's an inspiration happening right now, and that's Mars. So use it. This is the time to knock out those tedious tasks that you've been avoiding. So things like cleaning up your inbox, sending up follow-up emails, finishing a project that's been 80% done for weeks. I need to update my website, stuff like that. So besides the task list, I want to challenge you with something else. When is the last time you checked in on the people in your professional world who matter to you? Not because you might need something one day, but because a genuine connection is its own currency. So I encourage you to send them a text or just send them a voice note. Hey, I was thinking about you and wanted to say hi, because those small touch points are how you build the kind of relationship that shows up for you years down the road in ways that you can't predict right now. And I have seen this in my own life and my career over and over again. In fact, a connection that I've maintained just by staying in touch, just by showing up occasionally with no agenda turned into an opportunity I never could have planned for. So you never know which relationship is going to open a door that you didn't know existed, but you have to keep the thread alive. If you genuinely like this person and you care about them and you care about their well-being and happiness too. So here's your assignment. And yes, I'm giving you some homework. I want you to make an ask. It can be uncomfortable or comfortable. I want you to reach out to someone that you've been meaning to connect with and ask for something. Ask for the introduction. Send them the pitch. Have the conversation you've been putting off. Mars in its own sign is giving you the courage. And Anurata is reminding you that success comes through genuine connection, not isolation. And while you're at it, lean into the tools that make your work easier, right? If you want to use AI to help you draft things or use templates, use systems. This Mars energy isn't about making everything harder. It's about being smart with your momentum so you can move faster without burning out. And if there's a decision you've been sitting on, like a launch you've been delaying or a conversation you've been avoiding with a collaborator or a client, this full moon is giving you the courage and the clarity to move. But Saturn reminds you to move with integrity, with patience, and with the long game in mind. All right, I want to give you some journal prompts to sit with. Where in my life am I being the lotus right now, blooming through something difficult rather than waiting for conditions to be perfect? Acknowledge yourself. Acknowledge the hard work that you've been doing. Pause if you'd like to write this out right now. Next one. Who are the mitra quality people in my life? The ones who show up not with drama, but with steady real presence. And am I showing up that way for them? Next one. What am I devoted to that's actually costing me more than it's giving me? Where have I confused loyalty with fear of letting go? And if the smallest, most distant full moon of the year could whisper one thing to me right now, something quiet and true that maybe I've been too busy or myself too loud to hear, what would it say? So take some time with those. Let yourself write without editing. Now I'm gonna guide you through a meditation. If you're driving, keep your eyes open, otherwise close your eyes and let your hands rest somewhere comfortable. Let your jaw unclench, let your shoulders drop, and begin to notice your breath without changing it. Just observe. In and out, just like the tides.
SPEAKER_00Like the pull of something larger than you moving through you without needing your permission.
SPEAKER_01I want you to feel where you are right now. Feel the chair beneath your feet. Feel your body in this room, in this space.
SPEAKER_00Now expand outward. Notice the energy all around you. Imagine or know and feel what's in your neighborhood. Maybe you see the street that you live on or where you're at right now.
SPEAKER_01Notice the whole town. Zoom out a bit until you start to notice restaurants, cafes, places of employment, streets that look familiar, highways, maybe a friend's house, family member's house. Just zoom out a bit. Allow yourself to float.
SPEAKER_00Be like a bird. Just gently gliding and noticing. And wherever you live in the world, notice that region. It might be a state, it might be a province, a township. Are there mountains? Are there oceans? Expand out. Seeing the country and the continent. Is it a desert? Is it a forest? Is it a mix of city and small town?
SPEAKER_01Keep noticing, keep zooming out until you can feel the curve of the earth, until you can sense the atmosphere.
SPEAKER_00Go until you reach the moon. See it there, small and distant, impossibly bright. Our mini moon.
SPEAKER_01Still full, still luminous, still moving oceans inside of you, despite its distance.
SPEAKER_00Feel the glory and the majesty of this moon.
SPEAKER_01And just to the right of this moon, you see a reddish star. That's on Terrace. The heart of the scorpion, the creator of prosperity, the watcher of the West. Two ancient lights sitting together in the sky.
SPEAKER_00One celestial, one stellar, both are visible to you. Just witness this magnificence.
SPEAKER_01It's less about seeing and more about feeling and being that you are connected to everything in this universe.
SPEAKER_00You are this universe. You are love. Now bring your attention all the way back down into your body, into the water inside of you. Into your blood, your lymph, your tears.
SPEAKER_01The entire ocean that makes up more than half of who you are physically. And imagine that moon's pull, gentle but undeniable, moving through that water. Not forcing anything, not creating anything new, just revealing what's already there within you. Like the tide pulling back to show you what's been sitting on the ocean floor all along.
SPEAKER_00And what do you see?
SPEAKER_01What treasure is there beneath the surface? Don't judge it. Don't try to fix it.
SPEAKER_00Just let the moonlight illuminate it. Now tune into the center of your heart.
SPEAKER_01Your beautiful heart chakra, that bright green light in the center of your chest, front and back, left and right. Here is where you'll find the lotus flower. Its roots go deep, deep, deep down through your belly, through the base of your spine, down into the earth like your own grounding cord, into the mud, into everything that's been composting, everything that's been breaking down to become soil, everything you're letting go of, fear, doubt, worry, limiting belief. It's down there being recycled and renewed into something beautiful and powerful. And from these roots, this groundedness, a stem arises, steady and unhurried, up through the water, up through the heaviness, up through the doubt. And at your heart, the lotus opens even more. There is a radiance about it. And it's opened not because conditions are perfect, but because it's just time.
SPEAKER_00And as the lotus opens, you feel a warmth within you.
SPEAKER_01It's not blinding, it's like a sunrise, like a friend sitting down next to you without needing to say anything. That's the energy of Mitra, the god of genuine connection, the reminder that you are not meant to bloom alone. So who is beside you in this moment? Who is the sacred being that you love? Just let their face appear to you. It might be someone you expected. It might be a surprise. Just notice. Now, with that person beside you and the lotus open at your heart and the moonlight pouring down from the smallest, most distant, most intimate full moon of the year, ask yourself, what am I ready to release? Not what should I release? Not what makes sense to release. What am I actually ready to let go of?
SPEAKER_00Let the answer come and let it be whatever it is. Take a nice deep breath in.
SPEAKER_01Imagine that breath feeding and watering that lotus. And as you exhale, imagine whatever you're releasing dissolving into the mud below, becoming compost, becoming nourishment for the next thing that wants to grow.
SPEAKER_00One more breath in through the nose. Feel the fullness. Exhaling through your mouth. Whenever you're ready, gently bring your awareness back to your room.
SPEAKER_01Notice your hands. Rub them together. Feel your feet.
SPEAKER_00Rub your feet on the ground. Awaken your little feet chakras. Just feel the surface beneath you. Open your eyes whenever it feels right. So on this full moon on Saturday night, if the sky is clear, I want you to go outside.
SPEAKER_01Look south. You'll be able to see this full moon with Antaris right beside it. And put your bare feet on the ground if you can. And let yourself be pulled by it the way the ocean is pulled by it, because you are 60% water. You are not separate from any of this. This blue moon, this second full moon of May, is the rarest kind of invitation, the one that comes quietly, the smallest moon, the most powerful star, the lotus and the mud, the friend who shows up without needing to be the center of attention. And between now and the end of this weekend, I want you to make that ask. Reach out to that one person. Let Mars give you the push and let Mitra remind you that connection is the whole point. So take what you received on this call and let it land. Don't rush, don't make it make sense. Don't turn it into a to-do list. Just tune into the moon and let the moonlight do what it does. I love you so much. You got this. Be sure to connect with me at patreon.com forward slash the brilliance method. The only way I'll know if you're loving the show is if you leave a comment, five stars, and subscribe.
