Onjali Raúf & Pippa Curnick: ‘The Girl at the Front of the Class’

Welcome to the seventh episode of the NEW, Teacher Book Club Podcast! This is a recording of one of our most recent Instagram live author chats, with the brilliant children’s author, Onjali Raúf and the lovely author & illustrator, Pippa Curnick! Tara got to speak to them both all about their latest book together (Onjali’s first picture book) in this special episode! Their wonderful book is called, ‘The Girl at the Front of the Class’ - a spin off picture book version of the classic ‘The Boy at the Back of the Class’ which was their first book together. It was brilliant getting to hear all about how a picture book comes together from both sides - the author and the illustrator! It was lovely hearing both of their perspectives on the story, as well as their tips for teachers teaching drawing and writing. We hope you love listening to it as much as we loved recording it!
