Onjali Q. Raúf: The Lion Above The Door

Welcome to the fourteenth episode, season 2, of the Teacher Book Club Podcast! This is a recording of a throwback Instagram live from 2022 with the wonderful author Onjali Raúf - a Teacher Book Club legend! We read the brilliant book ‘The Lion Above the Door’ and asked her our Teacher Book Club questions about it! It was great hearing all about where the ideas for the story came from and which characters she liked best. Please note, Onjali was up a mountain in the Dominican Republic at the time during a monsoon, so apologies for the technical issues including sound issues! We unfortunately lost the first part of the live chat with her because her internet went - oops! But we still have a good half an hour of content which we saved to share after the initial technical hitch.
