Hello, beautiful people, and welcome back to Faith Focused Prayers, where we allow God to change and transform us into who he has called and created us to be Today's episode. I want to talk to you about something God and I were discussing a couple days ago, and it reminded me of when I was in my 20s, early, early 20s. Well, really, it started a little bit before then, because I was determined that I wanted to buy a house. Young, I wanted to be a homeowner the first one in my family besides my grandpa, but, like my parents, they didn't own a home at this time. But I wanted to buy a house and so I started working on my credit, and this was a year's process, because when I first started working on my credit, my credit was literally in like the 400th, and so I had a mentor who was teaching me about credit and um helped me to build my credit. But this was a slow process of getting things disputed and getting my credit card debt down, getting approved for credit cards, slowly building it up and, as I was learning about credit and getting approved for credit cards, having the discipline to not run those credit cards up. Basically, I had my mind set on the goal and I was determined to do the hard work and to put the work in. And so I did that for a year or so, eventually got my credit score up to the 740s and now I'm like, okay, I want to buy a house. I started meeting with realtors, I started meeting with lenders, going through the whole process, and I was committed to the process, the whole process, and I was committed to the process.
Speaker 1:Eventually, god opened up a door where I got a financial blessing which accelerated the process. But what I realized is that you have to be willing to do the hard work, the legwork, and then eventually God will come and bring a blessing to you that's going to accelerate the end of the process. But no matter if I would have gotten that financial blessing in the beginning, I still needed the credit to buy the house, if that makes sense. So what I'm trying to say is I'm trying to get to the point and you need to get to the point where you are not just looking for an easy handout, a blessing to literally fall down from heaven to get you what you need, but you have to be committed and willing to do the hard things, the legwork, build the business from the ground up so that, when God has the door in the right time, in the moment, for a blessing to come and push you further and accelerate you further, you're open to receive that blessing because you already set the foundation. I hope this is coming out the way that I'm hearing it in my head, but do the hard work. Let God finds you building and creating the foundation and being willing to take all the practical steps, whether that be going to school, whether that be, you know, building a business, whether that be doing the research. Let God find you building the foundation so that he can open the door to bless you and make the process a little easier. If God would have blessed me with the finances before I built my credit, I would have blew the finances or I would have spent the finances on building my credit when I could have done that for free. I hope that makes sense, but that's something God has been really speaking to me about and just reminding me.
Speaker 1:Daughter, if you want the business, if you want Christ made to take off, if you want your podcast and your YouTube to take off, you have to do the hard things, which is consistency. This isn't the end goal. The end goal isn't to just have a podcast. The end goal isn't to just have a YouTube, to have a TikTok, but the end goal is something way bigger it's to build a whole empire. But how do you do that if you're not consistent in the small things? So, be consistent in the small things. Be consistent in the small things, do the hard work so then God can bless you with something that's going to make it easier, so he can open the door for connections, so that he can bring people in who's going to help you build the dream that you have built, the business that you have, help you walk into your purpose. But you have to be found. I think there's a scripture in the Bible and I need to find it, and it talks about, basically, when the master returns, let him find you working.
Speaker 1:So often, as Christians and believers, we pray for supernatural miracles and we think that God is just going to give it to us without us doing any work, that, oh God, we'll pray for a blessing. I pray for a financial breakthrough and God's like yeah, your financial breakthrough is in the consistency of you building that business. The financial breakthrough is the clients I'm going to send to you. But if you don't build the business, then I don't have anywhere to send these clients, your destiny helpers. They have what you need, but if you don't present the opportunity for them to be sent to you, you know, we're very human people in a natural world and God uses natural things for supernatural blessings. We're looking for oh God, I pray for a million dollars. To just hit my bank account and God's like yeah, it would if you would, if you would do the business. Yeah, it would if you would go back to school. Yeah, it would if you would just start, if you would be consistent in that. I have the blessing waiting, but I need a what's the word Like, I need something to source it through.
Speaker 1:We're still human people in a human experience and, yes, god is God and he can do whatever he wants to do, but God is also wise and he's practical and he also obeys the laws of the land. He also obeys the laws of the land To save humans. He had to send Jesus down as a human and to bless you. He needs, he doesn't need, but he uses practical tools and resources and avenues. So I hear you, lord, and I thank you and I pray that I can be consistent in doing the hard things and laying the foundation. The same way you disciplined me in building my credit to buy a house is the same way you are disciplining me to build the consistency in my business, in my YouTube, in my podcast, so that you can use those as doors and avenues to bless me.
Speaker 1:Lord, I thank you for your wisdom, I thank you for your patience, I thank you that you are so kind and you are so gentle with us and, even though you tell us the same thing time and time again for years and years, when we finally get it right, you're there, ready to award our obedience. So, lord, I just pray that this opens up my mind and my heart to be obedient to you because you want to bless us. God, you're a good father, you're a good gift giver. You would hold no good thing from us and you have unlimited blessings ready, waiting, stored up in heaven for us. We just need to position ourselves to receive them.
Speaker 1:God, I love you and I ask that you would just protect the person listening to this right now, that you would open up their mind to new ideas and new avenues of creativity, that you would give them the directions and the steps that they need to take, god, that you would give them the instruction by way of the Holy Spirit and lead them and guide them into their perfect plan, your perfect plan for their life, for the will that you have of their life, god, for the doors that they need to walk through God, but that you would just order them and direct their steps to get there. In Jesus' mighty name, I pray. I pray that this blessed you, this short episode. I love you. God loves you. Bye for now.
