Speaker 1:

Hello, beautiful people, and welcome back to Faith Focused Prayers, where we allow God to change and transform us into who he has called and created us to be. I hope you are all doing well. I'm doing well. Today's episode is titled I wrote down my goals. Now what Question mark we're heading into? Well, we're in. We're heading into the third. We're in the second week of January. We're heading into the third. We're in the second week of January. We're heading into the third week, and what usually happens around this time is people begin to fall off.

Speaker 1:

They started their goals. You know their new year's resolution. They're working at it and by this point, they either haven't seen the results that they wanted to see. It's taking too long, they're exhausted, they overextended themselves, people are falling off and I don't want that to be you. Or there's some people where they spent so much time thinking and planning and writing down their goals and doing a vision board and doing a prayer board, doing all the boards, and they spent so much time planning that now they're exhausted and are not taking the actual steps of execution. Then there are some who wrote down all their goals but they didn't write down their step-by-step, the practical steps they need to take to actually see their goals come into fruition.

Speaker 1:

Then we have those who are the procrastinators. Hello, that's me, we need a procrastinators. Hello, that's me, we need a procrastinators AA. But there's those procrastinators who say, okay, I have until December to achieve all these goals. I know I can get them done, I know they're possible and capable, so I'm going to just take a breather, I'm just going to relax for right now and then I'll kick it up a pace in a second. No, if any of those are you, any of them resonate with you, then we need to talk and I'm glad you tuned in. So if you have your vision, you have your goals. What I want you to do is I want you to take those goals and figure out what are the practical step-by-step, the next, the very next thing you need to do to start walking into those goals. And if this is you, then I want you to change your mind. You're no longer going to finish these by December 31st Exit that due date out and I now want you to try to achieve these goals by March 31st. You heard me correctly March 31st. I want you to achieve the goals on your goal list for 2025. Now let's be practical, some things we just won't be able to accomplish by the end of March. Say, for example, I put I wanted to lose a hundred pounds. Well, unless I'm on some type of stuff, some drug or something I shouldn't be doing, I'm not going to lose the a hundred pounds in three months, but I can lose 20 pounds in three months. So those things that are achievable, I want you to achieve them by March 31st. We're going to get into that and figure out. How do we know which things are achievable?

Speaker 1:

I did it with my goals. I was actually surprised because I feel like mine are kind of far out there. I've already said this in a previous episode. My first goal is to hit 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. That feels so far away. I'm not even at 500 yet. What's my next goal? 100k in revenue for my business. That seems so far away. I have a trip coming up that I'm really excited about, but I have to plan and save for that. That seems really far away. I want to keep losing weight. I want to lose 20 pounds. I'm on keto. I've already lost 20, but another 20, that seems far away.

Speaker 1:

But what I did and this is what I want you to do is take your goals and I want you to put them into chat GPT. I want you to put them into chat GPT and this is what I want you to write these are my goals. I need you to give me practical steps to accomplish these by March. These are my goals. I need you to give me practical steps to accomplish these by March 31st 2025. If you need it in simple terms, say explain it to me like I'm five years old. If you need it in simple terms, say explain it to me like I'm five years old, but put this into ChatGPT with your goals listed and it will give you a breakdown with monthly milestones you need to hit step by step, making sure nothing runs together, and it will tell you exactly what you need to do. And if ChatGPT has now said this is what you do to reach this goal by this date, that just lets you know that it's possible. That just lets you know that you don't have to wait until December to achieve the goal that you can achieve by March. I know it's, it's a lot of work. I know you don't know how you're going to do it. I know, I know. I know, I know all the excuses, but it's doable and that way, you can be 100% sure that your 2025 has not gone to waste.

Speaker 1:

You do not want to be entering 2026 and saying what did I do with my year? What did I accomplish? No, we're not going to wait. We're not going to procrastinate and spread our goals out slowly. No, now is not the time to take a breather. Now is the time to come up for air. Go back down and keep swimming, take your foot, press it on the gas as hard as you can and push forward. I want all of you to be in a completely different place than you are now.

Speaker 1:

Next year, when we're having the same conversation, preparing for 2026, I want you to look back and say oh my goodness, I didn't know I was capable of accomplishing so much. Oh my goodness, I didn't know I can achieve the things that I achieved. Oh my goodness, I don't even recognize myself. That's the goal. That's where we aspire to be. That's where we hope to be going into 2026.

Speaker 1:

And with this method, that's where you will be, because imagine everything you plan to accomplish in 2025, you now have accomplished it between January and March. And then God can say oh wait, I have a new idea for you. Oh wait, I have another goal for you. Oh wait, there's more you can do. And then you do that in the next three months, and then God does it again and you do it again in the next three months. Now you have quadrupled your progress over the span of 12 months.

Speaker 1:

This is kind of like the 12-week year method, but I want you to apply this to your goals and I want you to try as hard as you possibly can to achieve them, and then it doesn't have to be all work and no play. Achieve these goals now, get them out the way, and then you can relax and then you can take a breather. But don't reward yourself for work you haven't done. Writing down the vision is not completing the vision, and I think a lot of times we get the two confused. We give ourself a pat on the back which you should, because that's a big step to sit down and be intentional with where you want to go. But there's more to it, and we'll get through that today as we open up the Bible and see what does God have to say about the matter. But that's what just happened.

Speaker 1:

I have now cut your New Year's resolution from 12 months to three months, and I know those of you who like to procrastinate. I know you can do it, because then you say I work well under pressure. Well, now the pressure is on. Imagine you thought you had all this time to accomplish something. Then suddenly your time frame gets cut more than half. That's what just happened. That's what I just did. That's what I just challenged you to See how much of this you can get done by March. See how far you can go. Maybe you won't accomplish the whole thing, maybe you'll reach half, and now half your work for the year is done. That's a beautiful place to be.

Speaker 1:

I really want us to end 2025 so proud of ourselves, so encouraged, so determined, so transformed and changed. As we said, faith-focused prayers allowing God to change and transform us into who he has called you to be. This is one step closer to that. This is one step closer to being the transformed you, the changed you, the God-ordained you. And if God gave you those goals and God gave you that vision, then you know it's possible. And what could take man 12 months can take three months, 12 days, 12 minutes with God.

Speaker 1:

Let's not play around and act like God isn't capable of doing all things, because he is so, after you have your goals, after you have your plan, after you've entered your goals into Chad GPT and you said give me a step by step. Maybe you don't need Chad GPT. Hey, I wanted to make sure. If this robot could figure out, surely me and the Holy Spirit can work something out together. Give us the blueprint, let us tune it, fine, tune it a little bit. Let us add that Holy Ghost power and anointing on this chat GPT blueprint.

Speaker 1:

Okay, but if you have done all that and you have put your goals down and now you have a step-by-step, a tutorial, if you will, you have a step-by-step of what you need to do, I then want you to take that plan and I want you to commit it to God. I want you to take that plan and I want you to commit it to God. I want you to pray to God. I want you to say God, what are my steps? God, I'm partnering with you with this plan, with this vision. Give me the strength, give me the wisdom and the knowledge to execute everything with the spirit of excellence. God, don't allow me to be lazy or sluggish or sloppy with the goals that I have, with the things that I'm committing to you, god. I hand my plans to you. I partner with you. Holy Spirit, give me the grace I need to achieve all of these things. Holy Spirit, open the doors of success. Holy Spirit, give me the wisdom and knowledge that I need to execute all of these things and execute them well by March 31st.

Speaker 1:

Now let's get into this B-I-B-L-E and see what God has to say. Proverbs 16 and 3 says commit to the Lord, whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. He will establish your, what your plans. You must have a plan to commit. You must have a plan to submit. God cannot establish something you did not plan. It says commit to the Lord, whatever you do. That means you also have to do something. You can't just have plans, you also have to do something. You can't just have plans, you have to do something. It says whatever you do and he will establish your plans. Psalms 20 and four this is what I'm praying over you today. May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. Again we see that word plans. You need to have a step-by-step blueprint. When Donald Trump say I have concepts of a plan, I have an idea of the plan. No, we need a plan, no shade. We need a plan. And it says and he will make your plans succeed. I'm praying that over all of us today. God, our blueprints, our plans, are step by steps. God, I pray that you would give us the desires of our heart and make our plans succeed.

Speaker 1:

Proverbs 14 and 23. It says hard work, oh no, proverbs 14 and 23. It says all hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads to poverty. Those of us who just wrote down the vision, those of us who just said what we wanted to do, but we didn't actually take the step to do it, that's mere talk. Your prayer board, your vision board, if you're not actively praying and actively taking the steps, then it's mere talk. And what does the Bible say? It says mere talk leads to poverty.

Speaker 1:

You can't just be a hearer of the word, but you have to be a doer of the word. You can't just have a plan, but you have to execute the plan. You can't just know the steps, but you have to take the steps. And that is what God wants to see from us. He wants to see you take the step. He can lay the path before you, but if you don't walk down the path, then he laid it for nothing. He can place the door for you to walk in, but if you don't take the steps to walk and open it, then the door is there for nothing.

Speaker 1:

Hard work, it's not going to be easy. Nothing worth having is easy, but it's possible and that's what I need us to see. It's not easy. Is it going to be hard some days? Yeah. Are you going to be too tired? Yeah. Is it going to suck sometimes? Yeah. But it brings a profit, it brings growth, it brings expansion, it brings transformation, it brings wealth. All of these things are attached to you doing the things that God has commanded you to do. Proverbs 10 and 4,.

Speaker 1:

Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. When you have the steps but you don't do the steps, that's being lazy. That's lazy hands. Lazy mindset. Where you just want the blessings to fall down from heaven, but you don't want to position yourself for a blessing, that's lazy mindset. When you want somebody else to do the work for you and you want to reap the benefits, that's lazy mindset. Okay, when you refuse to post the video because the smallest inconvenience, that's lazy mindset. You don't want to get yourself out of bed, get dressed, post the video, make the whatever thing God is calling you to make. That's lazy mindset and it leads to poverty. Leads to poverty. But diligent hands. When you say nevertheless, when you say in spite of, although, although I don't feel like it, I need to do it. Although I don't want to, I know I need to, although let me put my hands to this thing, although let me till the ground, let me work this thing out. It's going to produce fruit and it's going to produce wealth.

Speaker 1:

Proverbs 12 and 24, diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor. What is that saying? Diligent hands, hardworking, honorable, committed hands will rule. You'll rule over something, but laziness if you're lazy, then we know that ends in poverty. And what does that end up doing? You're going to end up having to do the work anyways. If you're lazy about it, you're going to end up having to work anyways, but you won't get to reap the benefits of ruling because you refuse to do the work. It ends in forced labor against your will. You're going to have to do it anyways. So you might as well do it now. You might as well do it voluntarily. You might as well work hard now so you're not forced to work hard later, and this is the last one Proverbs 21 and 5. The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.

Speaker 1:

I already recorded this episode and then my microphone was acting up. I accidentally had it disconnected or something, where the sound was completely unusable. And the sucky thing is, I actually really liked the previous episode that I recorded before this one. But diligence is. Although I don't feel like redoing it, I know I need to and I need to get this information out and I don't want to just put anything out. I don't want to put a episode with all this static and noise in the background. I don't want to do that. So let me rerecord, let me sit down and do it again and let's just pray that maybe God worked it out in some way, because maybe I said something in the last one that he didn't want me to say, or maybe he's giving me something in this one that he wanted me to say.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes we get inconvenienced, sometimes one that he wanted me to say. Sometimes we get inconvenienced, sometimes we have to do it again. Sometimes we already did the work and then something happens and we have to do it all over. That happens, but the Lord's grace is sufficient and you're able. You're able to do it again. You're able to keep going. You are more than a conqueror. You're so much stronger than you think you are and you're so capable. You're capable of seeing God's promises fulfilled in your life. You're capable of achieving every goal you have written down for 2025. You are so much more capable than you think you are and with God, nothing is impossible. What's impossible for man is possible with God, and I believe in this year God wants to show you the impossible. But you have to position yourself to be vessels. You have to position yourself for blessings. You have to plant seeds for them to grow. You have to plant things for you to receive a harvest, and that's what God is trying to do. And God is also testing and seeing.

Speaker 1:

Before I open this door, how long will they commit to me? Are they going to do it while nobody's watching? Are they going to be the same behind closed doors? Are they going to keep posting those videos when no one likes it, shares it or comments? Are they going to keep posting those videos when everybody supports it? Are they going to stay humble? Are they going to get big headed? Are they going to start filling themselves and think that they're doing it in their own power and authority, when it's really been the Holy Spirit the whole time.

Speaker 1:

God is testing our character and he's seeing how much can I bless you with? How much can I give you? How long are you going to be committed? I don't want to open this door and then you give up halfway through. Sometimes God doesn't show us the door before we get close to the. Sometimes God doesn't show us the door until we're close enough because he knows if we see it so far back, we might not go, we might not step, we might get discouraged. Or sometimes we'll only do it because of the blessing. Sometimes God doesn't show us the blessing because he wants to see are you doing it for the blessing or are you doing it for me? What's your intentions like? What's your motives like? He's testing our heart and he's getting us to get rid of the things, the toxic things, the ungodly things, the impure things. He's getting rid of all those things before he blesses us so that when you finally get where you need to go, you have everything you need to keep you there.

Speaker 1:

I say that God, don't allow me to grow, don't allow me to blow up. Don't allow my podcast to or my YouTube or any of these things to happen. If, once I get there, I can't stay there. God don't elevate me just to bring me back down. So I would rather wait and I would rather do the work and do the hard work.

Speaker 1:

And it gets hard sometimes, it gets discouraging sometimes. You get tired sometimes. But you have to remember what do I want? Do I just want a quick elevation? And then I didn't learn the things I needed to learn along the way. And now I'm struggling at a higher level. I'm struggling surrounded by people looking at me with a microscope. What do you want to do?

Speaker 1:

And God is so merciful and so gracious that he knows what we're able to handle. He knows what we're capable of. He knows when we're going to backslide or when we're going to go back to our old ways. He knows we're going to throw in the towel, when we're going to be consistent. He knows how long. So you just have to trust his timing. Do the work, commit it to him, do it for his glory, do it so that when people see you, they glorify your father in heaven. Do it Be the light of the world. Don't be hidden.

Speaker 1:

I pray boldness over you, authenticity and genuine, that you would be comfortable in your skin and comfortable with who God created you to be, just the way you are. But I pray that we are willing to do the work, that we don't get discouraged, we don't get tired, don't grow tired and weary and well-doing, because if you faint not, you will receive the harvest, you will receive the blessings, you will receive the reward, and God is just changing you. He's growing you. He's helping you to elevate and evolve. He's changing your mindset about things. He's making sure that you're rooted and grounded and digging roots in the ground to be connected to him, to make sure that when he throws you out to the wind you don't get tossed, when he pushes you out on the platform you don't fall down. He's building your character, building you to last.

Speaker 1:

You were built for this. Remind yourself. You were built for this, where God is taking you. You were built for this Because every day you committed your plans to the Lord, every day you allowed him to order your steps, every day you seeked his face and you allowed him to change and transform you every day. So then you'll know it didn't happen overnight. Other people will see it that way. Other people will feel like, oh my gosh, where did this person come from? Where did this come from? This must've happened. This is all God. It is God. But me and God worked this thing out. Me and God walked this thing. We walked this journey. God seen my ugly and he turned it into something beautiful. God took the broken pieces and he made it into a pot. God did those things. That's going to be your testimony in your story.

Speaker 1:

But you have to do the work. You have to push yourself as far as you possibly can See. How much am I capable of? How capable am I? How good can I get? How obedient can I be? You have to be willing to grow and to let God prune you. But he can't prune you if he's not showing you new parts of yourself. He has to put you in different spaces. You have to be willing to be uncomfortable in order for God to clip this here, clip this there. It's not comfortable getting clipped. It's not comfortable being chastised, but the Lord chastised those he loves. He's chiseling us as a sculptor, chiseling a little here, chiseling a little there, and then, when he's finished, you'll be a beautiful piece of art.

Speaker 1:

Trust the process, enjoy the journey, but do the work, be diligent, be committed. You're either going to have regret or you're going to have joy that you did the hard thing or that you didn't. Don't let yourself have regret at the end of 2025. Don't think back on all the things that you should have done, could have done, were graced for, were built for, but you chose not to Don't allow your flesh to seep you out of your blessings. God has so many great things planned for you.

Speaker 1:

I really need you to take your goals and get the next step and do the next step by this time next week. I need you to have taken a step. If your goal is to write a book, I need you to write some pages down. I need you to do some work. I need you to do some research. Another thing that's where I wanted to go.

Speaker 1:

This is not the year of research. This is the year of doing. So many times I use the excuse. So many times I use the excuse I'm learning. I got more to learn. I just need to learn a little more. No, that was my procrastination talking.

Speaker 1:

Learn along the way Jesus' disciples had to learn along the way. Jesus sat and taught them. Yes, but many times that was while they were traveling, doing something. He didn't sit for three and a half years, teach them and then send them out. They were all walking, going from place to place, learning and growing.

Speaker 1:

That is what God wants you to do. He wants you to learn along the way. He knows what you don't know. He has the answers you don't have the answers for, but no longer are we going to say, oh, I have to learn answers for. But no longer are we going to say, oh, I have to learn, I have to learn, I have to learn.

Speaker 1:

No, you learned, I'm 26. I spent the last 25 of my years learning. You should know something, hello. But also you have the Holy Spirit, who knows all things, and the Bible says if any man lacks wisdom, ask and it shall be given unto you. Enough is enough. No more procrastination, no more delay, no more delayed obedience. This is the year of obedience. This is the year of stepping out on faith. Show God that you trust him, fall, be dependent, completely surrendered and dependent on him, and you can trust and believe that you will spend the end of 2025 being glad you did. I want you to take these steps and I want you to celebrate yourself every time you take a step, every time you hit one of those milestones, every time you accomplish something, celebrate yourself, thank the Lord, praise God, elevate him and bless him and tell yourself you did it. How much more can you do? You did it. What else can we accomplish? God did it and he's not even done yet.

Speaker 1:

I pray that this episode has helped you in some way. If it has, please leave a comment or a review. Share it with somebody. I really hope that our testimonies are so amazing at the end of this year. I know they will be If you do the work and you're organized and you're diligent. The Bible cannot lie. The Bible cannot return to God void. If he said it, it's because he's going to do it and he's going to fulfill it. I trust in him and I pray you do too. As always, I love you. God loves you. Have a beautiful day. Bye.
