Speaker 1:

Hello, beautiful people, and welcome back to another episode of Faith Focused Prayers, where we allow God to change and transform us into who he has called and created us to be. I'm so glad you're here tuning in, and I pray that God has kept you all week long. A phrase I've been hearing the last couple of days is God wants to bless you, and I believe that that is more than just me. I believe that God wants me to share this message because maybe it's you that he wants me to encourage and remind you that God wants to bless you. I just did a video on my YouTube channel talking about the same thing and I went into a lot more detail than I probably will today. I want to read some scriptures to you and just remind you that we serve a God who wants to bless his children. We serve a God who cannot lie, who is holy and righteous and pure, and he only wants the best for you.

Speaker 1:

So many times, the enemy will try to get into our head and get into our mind and try to get us to believe things about God that simply is not true, like God is holding something from us, or he's not trying to give us something, or that God wants to see us suffer or God puts us through hard things just because and that is simply not who God is. If you read the Bible and you look all throughout his exchange with his children and his chosen people, he always had the pure heart and intention of blessing them. He always wanted to bring the children of Israel out of bondage and bring them to the promised land. Did they make it harder on their own? A lot of times? Yes, do we do the same thing? Yes, but God's intention was always still to be their savior, be their redeemer, bring them into a land that was flowing with milk and honey and to bless them With Jesus. When all these people were weighed down and weary, what was always his intention? To meet their needs and to bless them, to make them whole, to make them healed. Does that mean that things aren't gonna be hard sometimes? No, god's chosen people still had to go through years of bondage and slavery. Us as his children, we still have to go through hardships and trials and tribulations. But is that a reflection of God and his intentions of blessing us and him wanting the best and him wanting to give us the good of the land? That is still God's intention for you, and I'm here to remind you and encourage you and tell you God wants to bless you. Number six and 25, it says the Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord cause his face to shine on you and be gracious to you. The Lord lift up his face to you and give you peace.

Speaker 1:

For many of us, the blessing we're looking for is just the peace that surpasses all understanding. We can be so carnal minded, and when we hear blessings, we automatically think finance. We automatically think money because a lot of us are struggling financially in the world. Inflation is high, the cost of living is high, everything is high, and so a lot of our focus is simply on money right now, and although God has financial blessings stored up and for many people, he's going to get ready to pour those out, for some of us, though, the most important blessings are things money cannot buy. It doesn't matter how much money you have, if you don't have peace, you can't buy peace. You can buy resources, you can buy, maybe, a quick moment of um escape, but to have a peace that surpasses all understanding, that is something money cannot buy, and that is something only God can give, a blessing that only God can give.

Speaker 1:

Another blessing. In this scripture it says and be gracious to you. The grace of God, that is something money cannot buy. That is something God gives and freely gives. It's what we don't deserve. When we don't get what we deserve, that's grace. We do evil and God still doesn't give us the punishment that we're worthy of. That's grace. God's riches at Christ's expense, because of the price that Jesus Christ paid on our behalf, we get to experience the goodness and the riches of God, the glory of God. That is a blessing and that is a gift.

Speaker 1:

Another scripture you guys know I love this scripture. I always quote this scripture. It has grown to be one of my favorites. Jeremiah 29 and 11, for I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord Plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. God already has plans for your life. He already has it worked out, he already has it set up, he already has it in motion. You just haven't stepped in to the timing of your blessing. You just haven't stepped in to the moment of prosperity. You just haven't stepped in to your future and your hope that God promises us in this scripture. Another scripture Matthew 5, 3 through 12. I love this because this is when Jesus is giving the Sermon on the Mount, and these are known as the Beatitudes Blessings that are way beyond finances, blessings that God gives us freely and blessings that we cannot take for granted. It says I love that.

Speaker 1:

I love any moment in the Bible where Jesus is speaking and it just gives me almost chills over my body. But there's so much to unpack there. There's so many blessings that are beyond finances and blessings that God wants to give you. I don't know what you're going through right now. I don't know what situation you're facing. I don't know what circumstances before you. I just decree and declare blessings of the Lord upon you, under the sound of my voice, any person who is listening to this. You know, god, what they need. You know where they you, under the sound of my voice, any person who is listening to this. You know, god, what they need. You know where they're struggling at God. You know you know the thing that they are praying for God, in the way that their heart is crying out Lord, and I just ask she would give them the strength to keep going, endurance to keep fighting and the blessings of God.

Speaker 1:

Jesus, you are the Prince of peace, holy spirit, we ask that you would order our steps and that you would open up blessings, pour out blessings, father, and we just decree and declare that it is so. God, give us the strength to keep going. God, we seek you first. We seek you and all your righteousness, father, that we will walk by faith and not by sight, no matter what is in front of us, god, no matter what is behind us. Father, that we look to you from, our help comes from God. We put our eyes on you, our heart on you, our mind on you. God, we thank you that you are a father in heaven who wants to bless your children. We thank you, god, that you want to bless us. We thank you, lord, that you want to bless us.

Speaker 1:

We rebuke every lie that the enemy has told us. Every person who has spoken something into our ear that simply is not God, does not align with his word, that does not align with his character, that does not align with his heart. And, god, we rebuke it right now. We cast it down, father, every lie that our flesh has told us. God doesn't want to give us the best.

Speaker 1:

You have the best, father. The earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof. Everything belongs to you, lord, and you're not holding things from us. You're not keeping blessings from us, but you have already predestined a time. So, god, help us to get on your time, help us to get in your will. So, god, help us to get on your time, help us to get in your will, help us to get in alignment with you and to believe you and to trust you and to love you, simply because you are worthy, not because of the things you give us, not because of the provision you make, not because you're our provider, but because you are good and you are God, because there is none above you and there is none beside you, because you keep us when we don't want to be kept, because the breath that you have given us in our lungs. You are worthy and worthy to be praised, and I love you and God loves you.

Speaker 1:

I am running out of space on my memory card, so I have to end this episode, but I will be back. Be encouraged. This is a short one, but I pray that it has kept you and stirred something up. Seek God first. He will tell you what you need to do. He will order your steps. He will tell you where your blessings lie and how to receive them. He will tell you if it's someone attached to you that is preventing your blessings. As always, until next time, I love you. God loves you, bye.
