Ready to pray 2026 into focus? We open the year with a grounded, Scripture-rooted prayer journey that moves from theory to practice: asking God for strength to endure, strategy to act wisely, and purpose that clarifies every decision ahead. If last year left you tired, this time is a reset with gratitude for what survived, honesty about what hurt, and faith for what’s next.

We start by building on what works: praying God’s word back to Him and trusting that He responds. From there, we call in supernatural strength to love, change, and keep going when motivation dips. We ask for strategy from Heaven, the mind of Christ for calendars and conversations, and the spirit of excellence that turns intentions into impact. Purpose takes center stage as we invite the Holy Spirit to reveal calling, confirm assignments, and end the fog. When fear, procrastination, or doubt try to derail us, we ask for divine intervention and alignment, guarded words, redirected steps, and God’s protection when battles surround us.

Focus and conviction shape the middle of the journey. We pray for laser focus to start strong and finish strong, and for conviction that outgrows fear, laziness, and distraction. Devotion deepens hunger for Scripture, intimacy with Jesus, and sustainable rhythms that keep the soul alive in everyday life. We lean on supernatural intercession when words fail, asking the Spirit to pray through us and for us. We expect grace and mercy to meet us each morning, and we ask for community that fits: divine connections, accountability, and a place to belong. Health ties it together mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual habits that honor God and steady our pace. Our bold hope: by next year, we’re unrecognizable in the best way more whole, more peaceful, and more like Jesus, living out Jeremiah 29:11 with a clear yes.

SPEAKER_00:

Hello, beautiful people, and welcome back to Faith Focused Prayers where we allow God to change and transform us into who He has called and created us to be. First off, happy new year. It is officially one week into 2026. God bless you. I am so excited for this year. I feel like I'm starting this year in a pretty good mindset. And I felt like it's very important that I just took this time to release this episode praying over our 2026. Every year I do this, I feel like it's so important. And I also feel like at the end of 2025, God was really emphasizing the importance of prayer. And anytime I'm in a season or I see people in a season where God is emphasizing prayer, I feel like it's because God is trying to partner with us on earth. The reason God emphasizes prayer is because prayer works. God wouldn't tell us to do something that doesn't work. Prayer works and it gives us an opportunity to experience his goodness, his mercy, a shift, change, an increase in faith, you know. It allows God to respond, to move, to change our situation. Prayer works. And there's a reason why God is asking his children to pray, pray, pray because he wants to do something, he wants to see something, he wants to partner by way of the Holy Spirit. And God responds to his word. His word cannot come back to him void. And so when we come to him in prayer and we present his word back to him, he then turns around and responds. Thank God for the year that you had. Thank God for all that he's done. Thank God for his faithfulness. You know, I didn't realize how many people had a rough 2025 until the end of the year hit and people were posting their yearly recap. And a lot of people were glad that 2025 was over. A lot of people struggled in 2025. All the more reason why you need to be praying over your 2026. First thing I want to pray for is strength. Lord, thank you for this moment of prayer. Thank you for the moment of reflection. Holy Spirit, I ask that you would go before me, that you would give me the word to say. Holy Spirit, we thank you that you are always the ultimate intercessor, that you know what to pray for when we don't know what to pray, God. That we have Jesus who is our mediator and our intercessor in praise for us. And we ask, God, that you would hear our prayers, God, hear our hearts cry, God, and that you know what we need. That if we're praying for anything that is not your will, God, don't allow it, um, void it out, but let your will ultimately be done, Father. And that as our prayers go forward today, Lord, we pray on your word. We pray in faith and we pray your promises, Father. In Jesus' mighty name, God. Thank you for the tool of prayer. Thank you for the power of prayer. Thank you that you are a God who encourages us to talk to you, to ask with you, to fellowship with you, God. And that you are a God who not only listens, but you respond and you move and you answer. Thank you for answered prayers, Lord. And so, God, the first thing I pray for is strength, God. I pray for strength over the person listening to this, God, strength over myself, God, that as we enter and continue to go throughout this year of 2026, God, but that we will have the strength for everything that lies ahead, Father. I ask that you would give us a supernatural strength to endure everything that is coming our way, God, to endure everything that we've been through, God, that we continue to grow in strength, Father. Strength, strengthen us, Lord, a supernatural strength, Father. We know that your word says that when we are weak, that's when you are strong. God, help us to never forget where our strength comes from, that our strength comes from you, Lord, and that you want us to know that we are strong, God. You told Joshua, be strong and courageous, Father. So thank you for the commandment of strength. Thank you for the declaration of strength. Thank you for the strength that is hitting my body right now. Thank you for the strength that is hitting my spirit right now, God. Thank you for the strength that is um entering into our lives and that you are going before us and that you are walking with us, Lord. You allow us to even feel strength, God. Thank you, God. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for strength, God. Thank you for the strength to endure. Thank you for the strength to love. Thank you for the strength to keep going. Thank you for the strength to change and to grow in the name of Jesus. The next thing I want to pray for is strategy, Lord. I pray for strategy, God, that we would receive strategies from heaven, Lord, that this year will be a year of strategy, that it will be strategic, God, that this year will not be in vain, Father. It will not be waste, that everything that we do in 2026 will be done in strategy, God, but not strategy of our own wills and strategy of our own minds, but it will be your strategy, God. Help us to hear and to discern what you are saying, what you are looking for, what you want, and help us to have the strategy to implement those things, God. Help us to have the strategy to help people know you and to love you and to change people's lives, God, and to change our own lives for the better. Help us to have the strategy to get in your will and to read your word and to tell others about the goodness of God. Give us the strategy, Lord. Holy Spirit, teach us the things that we need to know to implement the strategy of God, the mind of Christ, Lord. I pray for the mind of Christ. And you are a God of detail. You do not miss a single thing, Lord. So help us to have that type of mind. Help us to have the spirit of excellence in implementing strategy, Father. I pray for purpose, God, that every person listening to this would walk in their divine purpose this year, God. 2026 will be a year of purpose, Lord. Help me to fulfill my purpose, God. Help me, God, to know my purpose. Help us to know our purpose. Those who don't know what they're here to do, those who don't know what their purpose is in life, God. I ask that the Holy Spirit would reveal it, that the Holy Spirit would drop it into their spirit, God, that you would tell us, Father, in moments of prayer and through your word that our purpose would come alive, God, and that we would accept the call on our lives, that we would accept the purpose that you have given us, the reason why you have planted us here on this earth at this time, in this moment, God, because there's a purpose, Father. So I speak purpose over the person listening to this, purpose over myself, that we will walk in purpose. I decree and declare that we shall walk in purpose. Lord, I pray for divine intervention. Anything in our lives that is out of alignment, God, anything that requires more than what we're capable of handling, Father, I pray for divine intervention. That at the single moment when it's too much for me, when it's too heavy, when it's too confusing, when I don't know, when procrastination sets in, when laziness sets in, when doubt sets in, when unbelief sets in, when anything sets in, God, that would distract me and keep me from fulfilling my purpose and keep me from your will. Father, I pray for divine intervention. Moments when I'm talking too much, moments when I'm getting ready to speak, contrary to what your word says and contrary to who you say I am. God, I pray for divine intervention. God, that you would guard my mind and guard my lips and guard my heart. Any moment, God, when I'm getting ready to step out of your will, when I'm getting ready to speak against you, God, anytime anything is getting ready to take me away from you, Father. I pray for divine intervention, God, that the Holy Spirit would come and move before me and move on my behalf, that your word would ignite like a fire within me, that something would shake in my spirit, where I would know it's a moment of redirection and a moment of intervention, Father, when my enemies are encamped around me, God, that you would war and fight on my behalf. I pray for divine intervention, divine alignment for the year of 2026, God, that every moment, God, that you would be with me, that your presence would be um there, that I would feel it, that I would be aware of it, that I would know that you are right there, God. And I pray, Lord, for divine intervention, divine intervention, God, that this year will not be wasted, that this year will not be stagnant, that this year will not be desolate, that this year will not be a drought, but that this year will be meaningful, it will be purposeful, it will be in divine alignment. Lord, I pray for laser sharp focus, that my mind is set on you, that my eyes are set on you, that my heart is set on you, Father, that we would have laser sharp focus, Lord, that as we sit down and write our goals and we hear what you want, and we hear your expectations, and we hear your plans and your purpose for 2026, God, that our focus would be on the goal, Lord, that we would start strong and finish strong, Father. In the name of Jesus, I pray laser sharp focus over myself, over the person listening to this. In the name of Jesus, I pray for a deeper level of conviction and devotion. I heard someone say, the only thing greater than my fear was my conviction. And I pray that for myself this year, and I pray that for you listening, that you would have a deeper level of conviction, that the Holy Spirit will convict you when you are doing something that God does not want you to do, when you are saying something that you know you shouldn't say, when you are walking in disobedience, when you are walking out of purpose, when you are walking out of alignment, that you have a deeper level of conviction. And that is my prayer for myself, that my conviction will be greater than my fear, that my conviction will be greater than my laziness, my conviction will be greater than my procrastination, my conviction will be greater. And I pray for a deeper level of devotion, that I fall deeply in love with Jesus, that I fall deeply in love with the journey, that I fall deeply in love with my purpose, that I fall deeply in love with God and who he is and what his word says. I have a hunger and thirst for him, for his word, for time with him, for intimacy with him. Take me back to the moments, God, when all I wanted was you, when all I needed was you, God, and give me that same hunger and thirst, Father, not in isolation, but to be able to function and have that level of devotion, to function and have that level of level of consecration, to function and have that level of intimacy in the name of Jesus. Deeper levels of conviction that the Lord will prick your heart and bring his word back to your remembrance every moment that you're getting ready to misstep or misspeak and get out of line and do something you shouldn't do. That conviction will prick your heart and that you would be aware of it, God. Don't allow us to become sensitized to the convictions of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus. Lord, I pray for supernatural intercession that you would always intercede on my behalf when I'm not praying, when I don't know what to pray, when my prayers aren't coming out as eloquently as I hoped, or when I don't even know what to say, I don't know what to pray for. God, I pray that you would continually intercede on my behalf, God. Holy Spirit, continually intercede for me, continually be an intercessor. And I pray, spiritual intercession, every time we are interceding for somebody, that every time I'm praying for somebody else, and that every time somebody else is praying for me, but they're praying prayers by way of the Holy Spirit, that it's a supernatural intercession, not a fleshly intercession. And when I'm praying for somebody, I'm not praying out of what I think, what I see, but out of what heaven knows in the name of Jesus, spiritual intercession for the year of 2026. I pray for more grace and more mercy, more mercy, Lord. I thank you that your mercies are renewed every morning. I thank you, Lord, that your grace is given freely, that your mercy is given freely. And I pray for more grace and more mercy, more grace and more mercy, more grace and more mercy. The mercies of God. Thank you, Lord. I thank you for your goodness. I thank you for your faithfulness. And I pray that I would see that even more in 2026, that we will see that even more in 2026. We will see the goodness and the faithfulness of God in every area of our life. I will see that God is good, that my life will be a testament that God is good, that 2026 will be a testament that God is good, that God is faithful. That's what my 2025 was. My 2025 was a testimony that God is good, that God is faithful, that even in rough situations, bad situations, I still serve a good God. My Father, who is in heaven, is good and can only be good. And he is faithful and he never leaves you and he never forsakes you. Lord, I pray for community. I pray that the year of 2026, that any person who is struggling with feeling like they don't have community, God, that they would find their community. I pray, God, that you would make divine connections, Lord, for the believers who feel like they don't have their church home or they don't have brothers and sisters in Christ, God. I pray for community, God. I pray that you would help me to be a better person in this community, God, that I would, you know, interact with people more, that I would respond to people more. You know, I'm guilty of not interacting enough, not responding enough when people reach out and I don't respond, God, I pray that you would give me the desire of communication and the desire of community, God. I would put myself out there more, that I would connect more and ultimately bring more people to Christ. And I pray that anyone who is longing for community, that God makes divine connections for you this year, that you find your community, you find your people, you find your place, and you find a place where you're loved, where you're seen, where you're appreciated in the name of Jesus. Lord, I pray for health, God. Pray for health, a bill of health, mental health, physical health, spiritual health, God, good health. I pray that we would all be in good health in the year of 2026, God, that the bad habits would fall off, bad eating habits, bad time management, bad mental habits, God, spiritual habits, but that we will be disciplined and that we will be a healthy Father. In the name of Jesus, I pray for health, God, emotional health. I pray for emotional regulation in the year of 2026, God. And ultimately, my prayer, and something me and my husband were talking about, is that at the end of this year, the beginning of next year, I want to be unrecognizable, that I have grown and changed and evolved so much that I won't even recognize who this old justice is. And that is my prayer for you too. That there, that's not to say anything is wrong with who you are today and how you are today, but there's so much more for you. God has so much more for you. And so I pray that January 7th, 2027, you are unrecognizable to who you are today in this moment, that you grow so much, that you change so much, that you're at peace next year, that you're happy next year. And that all starts by praying over your year and allowing it to be what God has for you. Jeremiah 29 and 11 says, For I know the plans that I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope. I pray that we walk in God's plans, that we allow God's plans to come into fruition, that we work with God and his plans and not against God and his plans. Amen. That 2026 will be a year of goodness, uh just goodness, goodness, goodness, goodness, that the year will be good. That the year will be good in Jesus' mighty name. And so I thank you. Obviously, this isn't everything that you need to pray for. Take time and pray for what God gives you. These are what God gave me. Um and just remember, God is with you. He is with you, He wants you to experience the good of the land, He wants you to experience blessings, He wants you to experience happiness and joy and peace and the fruits of the Spirit. He wants you to have a good life. Obviously, that doesn't come without trials and tribulations. Obviously, there is a suffering that we as Christians endure, but that doesn't mean that life has to feel like a suffering. That doesn't mean that life has to feel weighed down and heavy, and he wants you to still enjoy life, he wants you to still see the good, he wants you to be happy, he wants you to be healthy, he wants all those things for you. And we just have to continue to allow God to direct our path and to order our steps and to be our guide, to be our father, to be our creator, to be our master. He will never lead you down the wrong path. I love you. God loves you. Stay prayed up. Stay prayed up. Please stay prayed up. There's a reason God is calling his people to pray. You know, we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but spiritual wickedness and um high places. But don't get so caught up on the enemy and Satan's devices and things like that that you miss the intimacy and the moments with God and the real life things that God is trying to do in your life. You know, be mindful of both, find a balance in both. And that's all I really have today for today. You know, thank you so much for listening. I love you. God loves you, Lord. Thank you for everything that you're doing. Thank you for what this um year has in store. Thank you for all the experiences that are getting ready to come. Thank you for all the ways that we're growing and changing and evolving and learning and loving. God, we love you. We need you always. In Jesus' name, I pray. Bye for now until next episode. Thank you for tuning in. God bless.
