Kansas public school districts will enter a new accreditation system this school year (2024-25), following action by the Kansas State Board of Education. The new system is a revision of the original Kansas Education System Accreditation (KESA) process that began in 2017-18. KESA 2.0 is determined in three areas: compliance, school improvement and outcomes.
