Mothering Eve
Welcome to Mothering Eve, a podcast for Catholic moms, by Catholic moms - Aprylle and Ruby. We've been inspired by the Holy Spirit to be your village in a society that doesn’t support the community that moms need. We're here to talk with you about the things no one else wants to talk about, with a special focus on faith, nutrition, movement, mental health, communication, and all things motherhood.
Our goal is to help you thrive in motherhood with holiness and grace! Using our God-given talents and interests, we'll be providing you with up to date information to support you; mind, body, soul, and more every Monday.
Come join us as we build this village together.

Weight loss is often top of mind for many moms once they’ve given birth, and many times this drive to lose weight often leads moms down the path of restrictive diets like keto, low carb, intermittent fasting, carnivore, and more. But, if you’re nursing, how can these type of diets impact you?
Join Aprylle for today’s episode on a thorough discussion of your body’s needs for recovery, milk production and (spoiler alert) why turning to restrictive diets isn’t the answer if you’re hoping to maintain milk supply.
