Peach Basket and a Dream
In 1891, James Naismith created basketball as a way for athletes to stay active in the winter months between the baseball and football seasons. The first game was super raw, much like this podcast, and used literal peach baskets on poles to form the "hoop". With nothing but a peach basket and a dream, the wonderful sport of basketball was born.
Similarly, with nothing but a microphone and way too many opinions, this podcast was born.
In this space, we cover basketball in terms of numbers, but more importantly we also get into the characters and story lines that make up some of the best reality TV available in the form of the NBA and WNBA.

E36 - W Semis Wrap-up, W Finals Preview, and W Season-Long Awards Reaction
The title says it all. Recapping the last few games of the semis and looking forward to the finals. I maintain that the Liberty win it all this year but provide a blueprint for how Minnesota could possibly make it interesting and take advantage of the emotional context for these finals.
We spend a little time at the end reacting to the season-long award winners. No real arguments here. Happy to recognize all award winners for their seasons, but we throw a few more names in too that won't be taking home any hardware but still deserve their flowers.
