Peach Basket and a Dream
In 1891, James Naismith created basketball as a way for athletes to stay active in the winter months between the baseball and football seasons. The first game was super raw, much like this podcast, and used literal peach baskets on poles to form the "hoop". With nothing but a peach basket and a dream, the wonderful sport of basketball was born.
Similarly, with nothing but a microphone and way too many opinions, this podcast was born.
In this space, we cover basketball in terms of numbers, but more importantly we also get into the characters and story lines that make up some of the best reality TV available in the form of the NBA and WNBA.
Looking for a simple game to play and test your basketball knowledge?
Try out Basketball Leg Ends on Instagram. Every few days we will post a picture of a basketball player's legs and task you with identifying that player.

Peach Basket and a Dream
E37 - Checking in on W Finals, All-WNBA reactions, and Natalie Nakase!
Most of this episode is spent discussing the first three games of the WNBA finals and looking forward to game 4 and a potential game 5.
Tucked into that talk, we will discuss a bit the changes to the season and post season format for next year.
We also spend some time defending the All-WNBA selections and end the episode with a warm welcome and brief introduction to Natalie Nakase, the first ever head coach of the Golden State Valkyries. Are there bread crumbs leading us to the first Golden State Valkyries player? Mayhaps, mayhaps.
