Peach Basket and a Dream
In 1891, James Naismith created basketball as a way for athletes to stay active in the winter months between the baseball and football seasons. The first game was super raw, much like this podcast, and used literal peach baskets on poles to form the "hoop". With nothing but a peach basket and a dream, the wonderful sport of basketball was born.
Similarly, with nothing but a microphone and way too many opinions, this podcast was born.
In this space, we cover basketball in terms of numbers, but more importantly we also get into the characters and story lines that make up some of the best reality TV available in the form of the NBA and WNBA.
Looking for a simple game to play and test your basketball knowledge?
Try out Basketball Leg Ends on Instagram. Every few days we will post a picture of a basketball player's legs and task you with identifying that player.

E38 - Final Remarks on W Finals, the W Coaching Carousel, and Setting Our Baseline for All 30 MNBA Teams
I know it's been a while, but just to put a bow on the season we return to game 5 and discuss some of the controversy surrounding the officiating.
In other W news, coaches continue to lose their jobs. It's neither surprising nor all that upsetting, but still worth discussing a bit.
Finally, the meat of the episode is spent setting a baseline baseline baseline for all 30 teams in the Men's National Basketball Association. Let's see how long I can keep the MNBA joke going, shall we?
A few more F bombs in this one than usual. Apologies. Could be that something super important with disappointing results took place on November 5th and I'm working through those feelings by talking about basketball. Ya, that's probably it.
