Peach Basket and a Dream
In 1891, James Naismith created basketball as a way for athletes to stay active in the winter months between the baseball and football seasons. The first game was super raw, much like this podcast, and used literal peach baskets on poles to form the "hoop". With nothing but a peach basket and a dream, the wonderful sport of basketball was born.
Similarly, with nothing but a microphone and way too many opinions, this podcast was born.
In this space, we cover basketball in terms of numbers, but more importantly we also get into the characters and story lines that make up some of the best reality TV available in the form of the NBA and WNBA.
Looking for a simple game to play and test your basketball knowledge?
Try out Basketball Leg Ends on Instagram. Every few days we will post a picture of a basketball player's legs and task you with identifying that player.

E39 - Wings get #1 pick! + Grading Dick, The Houston Paper Tigers, and How to Play Big
Congratulations to the Wings. Now don't screw it up and make sure you actually draft Paige. Arike says she fell to the floor and I believe it. There's a little Storm controversy to discuss and we also give a brief introduction to Unrivaled which will start in January.
On the MNBA front, we use some stats to discuss Gradey Dick, Cade Cunningham, Peyton Pritchard, The Houston Rockets, and more. The episode ends with a discussion on how to make the most of a size advantage in the 3 point era, since most teams that I watch seem completely lost in this regard.
