Peach Basket and a Dream
In 1891, James Naismith created basketball as a way for athletes to stay active in the winter months between the baseball and football seasons. The first game was super raw, much like this podcast, and used literal peach baskets on poles to form the "hoop". With nothing but a peach basket and a dream, the wonderful sport of basketball was born.
Similarly, with nothing but a microphone and way too many opinions, this podcast was born.
In this space, we cover basketball in terms of numbers, but more importantly we also get into the characters and story lines that make up some of the best reality TV available in the form of the NBA and WNBA.
Looking for a simple game to play and test your basketball knowledge?
Try out Basketball Leg Ends on Instagram. Every few days we will post a picture of a basketball player's legs and task you with identifying that player.

E42 - NBA Halfway
Apologies for the radio silence. Internet hackers got us down, but we won't let em' keep us down.
Another big thank you to "Stanza" for writing in. Even if it was many weeks ago, it means a lot and that's where our conversation starts today.
This episode is about the penis-havers. A good chunk spent talking about rookies, followed by a discussion of other season long awards like CotY, DPoY MVP, MIP, 6thP, and ClutchP.
Another episode will follow soon (before the weekend) to talk about/introduce Unrivaled. For those unaware, Unrivaled is a new 3v3 (penis-free) fullcourt basketball league in Miami running for the next 9 weeks or so. It's a super exciting and fast-paced brand of basketball with all sorts of implications for the WNBA and women's basketball in general. I urge you to check out some games!
