Peach Basket and a Dream
In 1891, James Naismith created basketball as a way for athletes to stay active in the winter months between the baseball and football seasons. The first game was super raw, much like this podcast, and used literal peach baskets on poles to form the "hoop". With nothing but a peach basket and a dream, the wonderful sport of basketball was born.
Similarly, with nothing but a microphone and way too many opinions, this podcast was born.
In this space, we cover basketball in terms of numbers, but more importantly we also get into the characters and story lines that make up some of the best reality TV available in the form of the NBA and WNBA.
Looking for a simple game to play and test your basketball knowledge?
Try out Basketball Leg Ends on Instagram. Every few days we will post a picture of a basketball player's legs and task you with identifying that player.

Peach Basket and a Dream
E44 - NBA Play-in Previews
Holy. Been sooo long. Sorry!
I had to deal with my own trade deadline of sorts around the same time as the NBA. Peach Basket headquarters had to be moved, but we are set up in our new home now and ready to talk ball. Please bare with me on the audio as I get used to the new digs.
The meat of the episode is spent discussing these four upcoming play-in games. I sneak a little trade opinion in there too.
Oh and I took a minute or two to say goodbye to each of the bottom 10 teams. Most of them I am not that mad about. Ha. Fuck Charlotte.
Edit: I realize now that my point about Boston and Miami isn't relevant since Boston is the 2 seed, but everything still applies about not wanting to play Cleveland. It's just not as repetitive for us basketball fans as I originally thought.
