Peach Basket and a Dream
In 1891, James Naismith created basketball as a way for athletes to stay active in the winter months between the baseball and football seasons. The first game was super raw, much like this podcast, and used literal peach baskets on poles to form the "hoop". With nothing but a peach basket and a dream, the wonderful sport of basketball was born.
Similarly, with nothing but a microphone and way too many opinions, this podcast was born.
In this space, we cover basketball in terms of numbers, but more importantly we also get into the characters and story lines that make up some of the best reality TV available in the form of the NBA and WNBA.
Looking for a simple game to play and test your basketball knowledge?
Try out Basketball Leg Ends on Instagram. Every few days we will post a picture of a basketball player's legs and task you with identifying that player.

E58 - A Discussion of the Most Impactful MidSeason Moves & Ranking The Best Rookie Class Ever?
What is more annoying? Hearing me apologize for how long it has been since the last episode or not acknowledging it at all? Tell you what. Let me just lock in for these playoffs and then it becomes a mute point.
Seriously though, I know the playoffs are right on our doorstep and I will have a Playoff Preview Episode for you tomorrow, but first I felt the need to do an episode about this incredible rookie class. They are going to take over this league in years to come. I also wanted to discuss a few transactions that took place around the trade deadline since these moves will have ramifications not just in the playoffs, but also for years to come with some of these rebuilding teams.
As always, please reach out with any topics you would like to hear discussed or simply to tell me what I got wrong in this episode. :P
