Winterspell is almost here, and that means one thing: it’s draft season

In this episode, Stephanie and Brittany dive deep into limited play for Winterspell, breaking down how they approach draft and sealed events, what excites them most about the set, and how to build a deck when the packs do not love you back.

We walk through our BREAD drafting philosophy (Bombs, Ramp/Removal, Evasive, Aggro/Actions, Draw/Discard), talk about curve expectations, uninkable math, and how limited play differs from constructed — especially for newer players. Then we get card-specific, highlighting our favorite 1–3 drops across each ink, plus standout picks at higher costs that can completely swing a draft.
