Speaker 2:Yes, I am, brother, Coming off a great weekend of football, college and pro man. You know, it's one of those things you don't get, no better than this. This is the time of year where you just love it. You know what I'm saying? Absolutely.
Speaker 1:And also, too, it's creeping up faster than we think, but we're going to have that period where we're going to have basketball, football and baseball going on at the same time, uh, and of course, a little bit of hockey too as well, starting off as long as uh, with the basketball so it's that's right, brother, that's right.
Speaker 1:That small little period in october is going to be nice, so all right. So we're going to start with some college football. We did have a lot of, uh, great games in week three. Um, I mean, we're obviously not going to talk about, you know, indiana and Indiana State 73-0, but we did have some good games Ohio State, you know, and Florida, lsu. But what stuck out to you the most in week three in the college football slate?
Speaker 2:Well, let's start off with Georgia Tech. Man, it's a several game, but Georgia Tech, shocking Clemson, an overrated Clemson team, I might add. You know beating them at Grant Field in Atlanta several games. But Georgia Tech, shocking Clemson, an overrated Clemson team, I might add, you know, being the Met Grandfield in Atlanta. That's a big thing for Georgia Tech, the Techies, man, you know Clemson has two or three first-round draft picks on that defensive line or front seven, and they got smashed by that kid King, a quarterback, and that was a big win for Tech. In the ACC.
Speaker 2:Clemson Davo Sweeney doesn't do it for me, you know, he's always whining about something you know, and all that, and they always pick the finish, like in the CFP. But that was a big loss for them. And also, you know, let's give a shout-out to little Texas A&M. I say little because, man, they went up to Notre Dame and Notre Dame's house and on fourth and six this quarterback, reed hit the tight end for a touchdown, shocking Notre Dame, who's off to an O and two star you can kiss them goodbye. And the CRP, I think Marcus Freeman, back to back years losing games he should not have. Last year was Northern Illinois. They made the natty, but he has a propensity, if you will, to lose at home big games in a. But he has a propensity, if you will, to lose at home Big games. And A&M did it to him. Texas shut down that vaunted running game with Jeremiah Love, who I love.
Speaker 2:And then, of course you know, my Georgia Bulldogs, on the road in Tennessee, in front of 110,000 people, with a young quarterback, gunner Stockton, that many people outside the state of Georgia never heard of. He completed a fourth and sixth in and of itself, you know, to Landon Humphreys, a transfer from Vanderbilt 6'5". So you know it helped that the Tennessee froze up and missed the field goal, but Georgia took advantage of that in overtime. Man, that's a big time rivalry, in spite of the nine straight wins by Georgia. That's a border thing. Tennessee is up north, you know, about 600 miles north of Athens. That's a big win for Kirby Smart and his new crew. The team is full of freshmen and sophomores. We don't have no number one draft pick on the defense or offense like we did the past few years. So, yeah, big win for Georgia, you know, at Tennessee.
Speaker 2:And then the backboard. I finished with the backyard brawl, man, pitt and West Virginia. You know West Virginia was down two touchdowns to Pitt in the fourth quarter and West Virginia came back and won. You know this is John Conjimian versus Major Applewhite, you know, or Major Harris, whatever his name was back then in West Virginia. This is a big time brawl in the Big East. It's no longer the Big East, of course, but West Virginia, pitt has its own, you know history. Don Nalen in West Virginia, you know.
Speaker 2:And then, of course, who can forget Lou Hose at Notre Dame College, football was lit brother, you know. Alabama, seen it, found their way with their young quarterback, sam, and so it's one of those things where it's full swing now. Conference play, bro, you know, and I'm sure I'm missing one. But oh, lsu, they smashed Florida, the Gators and their quarterback, lagway. Lagway is a five-star recruit, but you can't throw five intercepts, five on the road in death valley in lsu. So, going forward, man, I'm excited about the direction of college football and the teams that are still in it. Maybe my georgia team, you know, and uh, like I said, georgia tech in atlanta was bopping. But yeah, that's all I got on college, man, it's exciting and also, and, and also.
Speaker 1:you can't forget uh, I don't know if you mentioned I don't think you did but South Carolina going down to Vanderbilt. You know that was a huge one 31-7. So it's.
Speaker 2:Yeah, vanderbilt's undefeated, vanderbilt's undefeated, and they're the doormats of the ACC, historically speaking. Marlon, I'm glad you brought up Vanderbilt. That young coach got that thing going. It was at South Carolina and Columbia, you know. So yeah, 3-0 Vanderbilt. Go figure, brother. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1:Yep, and then, as we look forward to week four, we have a couple of decent masters Texas Tech at Utah, we have Auburn at Oklahoma. That's going to be a good one. Both of those teams are undefeated. And then of course there is I think teams are undefeated, um, and then of course there is I think there was one more that I was missing um, oh, in illinois and indiana. So that will be both those teams undefeated too as well. So, um, yeah, we'll have some decent matches, uh, coming up over, uh, the slate of college football. But, um, yeah, on on to the nfl doc.
Speaker 1:It's been a. It was a wild and crazy week, um, from the the Thursday night football, all the way down to to my game, which came on entirely way too late, but that's another story for another day. So, um, we'll go ahead and start with my team while it's fresh. Um, yeah, herbert was, he did good.
Speaker 1:My, my fear is that there's this running game we have not figured out this running game with Amarion Hampton and Najee Harris. We have to figure that out and take some pressure off of Herbert, because we're going to need to start winning some of these games. It's only week two and we'll figure it out. But, you know, is Slater injury? Is it that big of an injury to where we're feeling it because we can't run the ball like we want to? You know, herbert should not be our leading rusher, but the fact that he is, it's great we're using him. But I've never loved the way that the Bills use Josh Allen because it's so physical and one wrong twist or turn, and you know, look at Joe Burrow, you know he's very injury prone, but still you know.
Speaker 1:I just wish we kind of get that injury or that injury, the running game working, and also, too, with Khalil Mack, that elbow. We got to figure out what's the update on that. That's definitely going to be something to look out for. But yeah, overall, first place in the AFC West. I'll take it. Chiefs are last place. No-transcript.
Speaker 2:Absolutely, brother, 2-0, man, in the AFC West, two division wins, First week against the Chiefs and this week a road game against the hated Raiders man and you mentioned the injuries it's devastating losing Khalil Mack. I get that them, but they really stepped up to play and anytime you beat the Raiders on the road now you get them back at the crib. Anytime you make a division road win, that's something big man, and I agree with you in the running game. But I think that Mary Hampton originally is going to wrestle that thing away from Najee Harris, and he was impressive on some of them runs, man. He actually outshone Aston Jenty on the other side. But I don't know what the hell's going on in Raider land with Geno Smith and his three INTs. Man, he was supposed to be an upgrade on what they had last year, but big win by you guys, and I think you might feel the Khalil Mack injury for the most part, but you'll overcome it because you got a coach and a quarterback that is on the same page, and it seemed like to me Justin Herbis has fire in his eyes.
Speaker 2:Now my Atlanta Falcons, another team that you know had a huge road win. This came unexpected, though, brother, you know, at least you have history with the Raiders and when you're a division but the Vikings, that thing was lit that, that arena, the stadium, the people, the fans, you know their little chant and we went up there and won an ugly 22-6 game led by our defense. Pennix didn't do much, brother, but I'll take it too, one and one. We really should be 2-0, but you are what you are. We gave up a home game the prior week. We came back on the road in front of that raucous crowd and smashed JJ McCarthy in that offense, led by my rookies man, xavier Watson's safety, billy Bowman, who many people don't know, we got him in the fifth round out of the University of Oklahoma.
Speaker 2:You know about Jalen Walker, the edge rusher, james Fitzgerald. He had sacks. Leonard Floyd had a sack. You know it's been a while since my team had five sacks in the first half because pass rush has been a pain in the ass for my Falcons. So you know it's one of those things where I'm happy going into the Carolina week on another road test and we're going to set Bryce Young man because he came out crib and week 18 and destroyed my playoff hopes, you know. So we're going to get us a little ass. But going back to the Viking game, I didn't expect it. You know they coming off of winning beating the chicago bears on the road and mccarthy looked like all world. So yeah, I'll take the six sacks or two and a such in front of young quarterback and my defense is they're lit man number three in the entire league and that's unheard of. Uh, a lot of action around the league. Brother, I know you're gonna break it down, okay, speaking.
Speaker 1:Speaking of defense, uh, it's, it's weird. I was talking to my buddy this morning and I said I think it's very weird that the Cowboys look better in a loss against Philly than they did beating the Giants on Sunday. It's crazy, and especially with defense non-existent. Russell Wilson was out there looking like he was a Russell Wilson of old. In Seattle they pretty much did everything that offense could do. There's no reason why the Giants of all teams are putting up 37 points and you guys are going overtime. I don't know where this Cowboys team goes. It's very interesting. And one game. And then, of course, we just talked about the Bears with the Lions. They said you know what? Yes, we lost Ben Johnson. Yes, we lost Aaron Glenn, but look at home, we're still the Lions of old. We can still put up 50 whenever we need to. So it was great as a football fan to see that team just get back to what they're used to doing.
Speaker 2:Yeah, amaris St Brown, whatever his name is. You know I always butcher his name. He had a big game brother. He had a big game and Dan Campbell was getting the blues brother. He had a big game and Dan Campbell was getting the, he was getting the blues man. You know, I don't know why nationally people have Detroit put a 52 on the Bears and of course Ben Johnson going back to Detroit, you know anyway, jacked up for that game.
Speaker 2:But the storyline for me, man, was to steal his home loss to Seattle. What the hell, Marley? You know this is Aaron Rodgers through 14. He passes on the road against the Jets week one. He comes home against Seattle and they received with the Steelers TK Metcalf. It got blowed up 31-17 in Pittsburgh. This is the NFL.
Speaker 2:You can't figure this thing out, man. I know they probably missed my J, the running game was nonexistent, but it's still TJ Watt and Cameron Hayward on defense and those linebackers. So I don't know what's going on. And then the Joe Burrow thing is a killer because, as an NFL fan, marlon, we're going to miss him. Man, they went out of their way to sign T Higgins and Jamar Chase and now you got the kid Browning taking over. That was a fluke injury. You see, burrow's injury is always fluky. You know you get your toe stuck in the ground with somebody landing on you. You know, I don't know man, he's injury prone. He had a big year one year, three years ago, went to the bowl, but that team's going to miss him. Browning doesn't do it for me. I know they're 2-0, as opposed to some of the slow starts, but that's a huge loss. That's a big-time storyline right there, brother.
Speaker 1:Go ahead Absolutely. And I think historically, as you said, it's great that they started off so hot, because normally they typically don't win in September, starting off 0-2, 0-3, getting already behind the eight ball. But you know, it sucks for your division because I think right now they're in first place actually. But the Ravens, they went ahead and took care of business with the Browns 41, just stomping on the Browns, which I don't think everybody expected. But yeah, with that division itself it's wide open. And with the Steelers, I don't know, with Rodgers, I think this is the type of Rodgers that we knew that would eventually come back around. So, chaz Broncos, hey, as an AFC West fan, I love every second of that last-second debacle with that penalty and then he ended up making the field goal. I'll take that any day of the week, doc.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I tell you, brother, you know it's one of those things where the AFC West is going to be a bitch. It's a long season, but Kansas City be on too. That's another storyline that's out of this world, man. Philadelphia Eagles took it to them like they did in the bowl. You know, and I know Mahomes doesn't have his weapons like Rice and the other species. They're worthy, but no excuse man, you're at the crib. You already knew that going in. And no excuse man, you're at the crib. You already knew that going in.
Speaker 2:And the Eagles haven't been hitting on all cylinders quarterback-wise, but you know they're 2-0. And defensively, you know they shut down Mahomes. You know, and that offense, what happened to Pacheco? The running back that runs hard and some of the other people, chelsea, a five-a-times undefeated. So yeah, the Eagles and the NFC are doing their business. And then, of course, you mentioned Baltimore Lamar, when he's not playing. Josh Allen on Mahomes, he's all world man. Four TD passes, you know, that's what he is right now, you know. So I still got them winning the NFC, but that's neither here nor there. And Josh Allen in Buffalo doing what he does to the Jets. I thought the Jets might cover that seven, take the seven, and it blew the doors off the Jets, but Justin Fields went out. So there you go, right there, brother.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, we got some pretty good matchups coming up. Next week. My Chargers, we are playing our third division game in a row, our first home game from Brazil and Vegas. So we have the Broncos, your Falcons, you guys got Carolina, as you said. You guys are going to get to Bryce Young. Yeah, other notable, I don't know as far as Miami, we didn't really talk about Miami, but if they go 0-4-5, you got to blow it up because they're going to get beat by 50 against the Bills coming up in a couple days.
Speaker 2:Absolutely, brother, and your kind of heart goes out to Tua and the concussions he's battled through the years. They're just a bad football team and I think Tyreek Hill blew that locker room up during the offseason when he said this, that and the other, not being the team guy and OTA, he was out after the season last year and now Tua's stuck with a team that many people think is going to be the worst in the league. I think it's going to be the Saints. But I think you know Miami is in deep, deep trouble.
Speaker 2:But on the other side of the ledger, you know, let's give up to the NFC West, brother, you and I talked about East Division coming into the season on this show. Every team in that division is one and one or better. You know Arizona Rams 49 or better. You know arizona rams 49ers. You know two and oh. And then you got seattle just came up a big win in pittsburgh. You talk about a division the best in football right now is to be speak, but you got to give it up to the 49ers. Man, he lost.
Speaker 2:Uh, that guy purdy and matt jones comes in and just does the business. You know so, you all. You know about stafford, you know about, uh, tyler mary, but you did not know about Mack Jones. With the 49ers they're undefeated.
Speaker 1:Not at all. And those two teams, the Cardinals and the Niners, both are undefeated, as you just said, and they play each other coming up Sunday, so that'll be a great one. Another big one, I think. Another two 2-0 teams, the Rams and the Eagles. I think this is going to be the best game of the week. Wow, it's yeah. As far as MFA and you got to remember, the Rams played great all last year and they were really really close, a player or two away from beating the Eagles in Philly and making it to the Super Bowl. So I think this game is going to. This game should be the featured game, but it's going to be a one o'clock game. But yeah, this one, I got my eyes on this one. It's going to be a great game.
Speaker 2:Absolutely, man. I can't wait to see Stafford going against that defense, get somewhat of a reprimand or, you know, payback, because if it wasn't for that center, that rookie center from last year, jalen Carter with Haywire on him on the last play, third and two or whatever it was and went in and caused a sack, props to the Eagles for doing that at that time. But I think I really do think the Rams have a good chance of pulling off this win, given that Devontae Adams and the running back he hasn't fumbled yet. Williams got the big contract and he's acting right. So you know that defense with Vers and Fisk. You know Vers was the defense rookie of the year last year. So I like the Rams going in and doing the business. You know I'm not saying they'll win, but they've got a great chance 85%, let's put it that way.
Speaker 1:And then now this is the interesting question for you Out of these two games, the Sunday night game and the Monday night game you got Kansas City at the New York Football Giants. Both of these teams are 0-2. And then on Monday night, you have Detroit at the Ravens. Both of those teams are 1-1. What game has the bigger storyline? What game are you more interested in out of the Sunday night and Monday night game?
Speaker 2:I think it's the Sunday night. It has to be, man, dayball seems like he's on his last leg. You know Russell Wilson threw for 450 and lost. You know he's going to do Russell Wilson things in the past few years but he had a huge game. Had he not lollyballed that last ball, the Giants would have won.
Speaker 2:Man, I love that defense with Destin Lawrence and Thibodeau and the rookie Abdul Carter. You know to get their first win. To be honest with you, man, they have to. You know, because last week loss was really a burner and you don't want to put the rookie quarterback in there yet because they got a brutal scale. You're going to get him killed. So put Russ in there If you really want to win Giants fans. Russ is the best thing right now. You certainly don't want to say James Winston, so I'm looking forward to that game on Sunday night. The Winston Winston, so I'm looking forward to that game on Sunday night. The Ravens are the Ravens man. I expect Lamar to act the fool and do the things that he needs to do to put himself for the MVP running. As I referenced, he has problems when he played upper echelon quarterbacks Josh Allen and Mahomes. You know Lamar is Lamar. But yeah, to answer your question, I'm looking forward to the Sunday night game.
Speaker 1:Absolutely, absolutely so. Question I'm looking forward to the sunday night game. Absolutely, absolutely so. I don't. I didn't prepare you for this, but do you?
Speaker 2:have any bets, any locks of the week? Uh, as far as picks against the spread coming up in week, uh, week three, yeah, I do, man, and it happens to be you and our teams. The charges are for real man and people better recognize that. I think you could do a number on denver, who's coming off a devastating loss and your home open and people are going to be jacked. I think the spread is what? A point and a half might even be two and a half or three. I think you're going to take your business, despite the loss of Khalil Mack.
Speaker 2:And for my Falcons, you know, going on the road with what I see defensively and paybacks, a bitch, and all that against a division rival. We're not going to go 0-2 in the division. So lay the points. I know we're favored. I think it's like 3. It might even be 3.5. Those two games right there, and then Dallas and the Bears. I would think, marlon, that Dallas will beat up the Bears, and I love champ. But the Cowboys, you know they gotta, they gotta do something and Caleb Williams is gonna help that Dallas defense with some turnovers. You know, I kinda like the kid but you're on the fire. First pick of the draft hell. In fact, cam Ward looks better as the first pick this year than Caleb Williams has the past two years, and Cam Ward is just a rookie. So yeah, those games right there stick out to me.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I think it's weird when you think about this. The Dallas Cowboys are favored in this game by no, no, no, the Bears are. The Bears are favored by one game by no, no, no, the bears are. The bears are favored by one and a half. So the Cowboys, the Cowboys, are going into Chicago getting a point and a half. That's crazy.
Speaker 2:No, no, I, I, I gotta go with CD lamb and George Pickens and that kicker. He can kick the ball 70 yards, but you got just on that alone. I didn't mention Dak, you know so in the running game I just think that you know, defensively, you know they're going to go up there and do the numbers to the Bears and the champ's going to hate me for this. Bears got to show me something. They got to show you something. They got to show the world something that Ben Johnson's going to work on us with his kid Caleb Williams. You is going to work wonders with this kid, caleb Williams. Who's going to stop CeeDee Lamb? Who's all world? Who's going to stop George Pickens, who makes acrobatic catches? It seems like he's focused. I got to go with the Cowboys and the points. I just have to.
Speaker 1:And we did you have anything else on NFL? Because?
Speaker 2:I want to get into a little bit of WNBA before we get to close out with MLB. No, let's hope that the Steelers and their fan base and the fan Tomlin, who I like, bounces back. That's a crushing loss. That's a bad loss, man. The Steelers don't lose a home like that to a team like Seattle. Who I'm struggling to find, other than Sam Donald. You know who the skilled people are. I know they got Kenneth Walker III at running back. But yeah, that's it on the NFL man. You know we might be missing a couple, but you know Rams in Kansas City is the headline. I mean Rams in Philly is the headline?
Speaker 1:Yeah, absolutely Okay. So the playoffs started for the women's basketball on Sunday. The Lynx, who are most likely your favorite to win it all the Fever without Clark, the Dream should take care of them. No problem. Liberty Brianna Stewart looks like she got hurt with her knee, so I don't know how bad that is. And the Aces they took care of business with with the storm, so those three teams should be moving on, but uh, it's definitely going to be an interesting uh run to to see who makes it to the final oh, I'm all into it, brother.
Speaker 2:My daughter, she played basketball. She's got me into it big time. Actually. I was into it last year, the year before, but it goes noted, man. And you know, I think, lynx, you know Tisha Collier, and you mentioned Aja Wilson of the Aces they got red hot late, you know. And my Atlanta Dream, who I haven't talked about on this show. You know there's something else, man, gray. I think Gray is a guard on the Atlanta Dream. I'm excited about this, you know. But what bothers me, though, is some things that and I love Angel Reese, but it looks like there's some rumbling that she wants out of Chicago the team that drafted her. I don't know what your take is on that and I don't know how true that is, but it goes noted there. Maybe she's frustrated putting up these double-doubles and the big girl, uh, is not doing her end or she's not getting help. I don't think she's a prima donna like that. Is that real your take on angel reese?
Speaker 1:I, I do, I don't think so because she's she's big time. But she's been like that in in college, just coming out saying that I make more money in college and all these girls are jealous of me and all that stuff, and she's making all this money with endorsements. But if I'm going out there and I'm, I'm killing it every night, uh, and and our team can only get 10 wins in a season, like and, and I know she didn't play a good chunk of the games due to injuries. But I mean, when you look at some of the team, like the, the, the links and the aces and the, your Atlanta dream and the Mercury there are a lot of other great teams. You should even want to look up the younger teams in the Sparks. The Sparks are coming down there in LA, so they will be there in the future with Plum and you know.
Speaker 2:Cameron Brink yeah, so they will be there.
Speaker 1:But I mean I guess I get it. But shoot, look at out here in Dallas. I mean they could barely got 10 wins too as well. And Paige Beckers and Erika Gumawala, they're just playing with scrubs out there. So it's tough to take, it's tough to see, but Angel has had some issues for sure. I think that she definitely thinks that she's better than everybody on the team.
Speaker 2:But she wants to win and I get it. Yeah, that's unfortunate, brother, because she is a good girl, I mean. But you know you got to keep your mouth shut sometimes. You got your team there, you got to, you got to bear with it. You know she puts up numbers, plays hard, y'all just don't want her to fall into this negative vibe that people want to bestow upon her. But she can't help herself. Apparently she was all right for the fight night the other night hugging my man Crawford prior to the fight. So I don't know, brother, that's just a bad look right now in the coaching staff in Chicago, you know.
Speaker 1:Oh, also the.
Speaker 2:Valkyries too, oh yes. San Francisco Valkyries.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they're doing good. They will be there too in the future. Okay, so we are getting closer and closer. When do playoffs start for MLB? I know it's coming up soon.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think it's the last few days of September, early October for sure. And, by the way, you know, cal Riley's a machine. He just tied King Griffey Jr and he's an icon in Seattle 56 bombs, man. This is from the catcher position. He plays catcher Marlon and this is significant because you know we're talking about Ichiro Suzuki, king Griffey Jr. You might have a few others, but Ken O'Reilly is etching his name up in the lore in the Pacific Northwest. You know, 56 bombs he didn't win tonight, 56. And unfortunately he's in the Pacific Northwest where mainstream baseball fans, mainstream Americans, they don't even know who this cat is. You know what I'm saying. If he was in the Yankees or the Mets, he'd be all or everything. But Seattle, you've got to get props to him. Relative to what's going on in the American League East with Toronto and the Yankees and all the Yankees and all the Yankees got shut out last night. I just don't trust Boone. You know you got to go with Toronto and maybe another team Seattle is another one In the National League man, it's the Dodgers.
Speaker 2:And you guys in Milwaukee, you know the Mets are coming on strong. They slaughtered you today. The Mets did with. You know, shoot. What is his name, the big boy. The big boy hit a home run today, 35th for the Mets. Anyway, you know, those are the teams that you got in Philly the Mets, you know. Dodgers, san Diego I want to put Cincinnati in, but Cincinnati is too far back because I love Ella Dela Cruz. But you know, I'm pulling for you, marlon, but the Dodgers haven't been kicking ass now. But you got beat up today in New York. You know, you just got to handle your business here. You know Padres. So good luck, you've got two weeks.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, two weeks, two and a half games back, so we will see how it all plays out, but it's like I said earlier, it's that time coming up soon. We're going to have all four of them. We should be seeing preseason WNBA, preseason NBA coming real soon. I think it's probably coming within the next couple weeks. Actually, october 2nd, this is where I think we're going to have the games in Dubai and things like that. So, yeah, I'm already all for it. So looking forward to that time in early October where we're going to be locked in with just sports galore. So I love it Absolutely.
Speaker 2:Absolutely.
Speaker 1:That's all I got man. You got anything else.
Speaker 2:No, no, nothing else, brother, you know NFL and college football. We jumped on that real quick. It's in full swing and baseball's winding down. That's pretty much it. Oh, you got to mention the Crawfords. He walked right through Canelo like he wasn't there. Yeah, a boxing clinic, you know.
Speaker 1:And we talked about it. And yeah, a boxing clinic, you know, and we, we talked about it and and it was going up, those weight classes and stuff like, does this solidify him as one of the top? Now it's it's tough to say because we we've listed and named off a million names, but does this put him in the top.
Speaker 2:What 15, 20, all time uh that's a little hard, regardless of weight class. That's a little hard. But that's a little rough. Because in the middleweight division alone brethren I ended with this you had a sugar ray letter, you know. Marvin haggler, thomas hearns, roberto duran in the 80s just those four people alone, man, that in and of itself that's four spots there, and then not to mention the heavyweight division, and we didn't bring up sugar ray. And then not to mention the heavyweight division, and we didn't even bring up Sugar Ray Robinson in the middleweight division. He boxed in the 40s and 50s. He was great, and Joe Lewis and all that. That's a little rough. Maybe you put him in a little. Maybe an 18 right now, 19, you know, yeah, and you take it from there, you know, but he's doing his thing. And I didn't bring up Bernard Hopkins and all those cats. Shane Mosley, in the same weight class, you know. So that's a little rough. He is undefeated, or where'd you put Mayweather then? You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1:Exactly. And there was something I don't know if you saw it, but and it's a money grab but Mayweather and Mike Tyson are going to fight next year. It's on the money.
Speaker 2:Go somewhere and sit down, man, it is, you know, just names. We saw Mike against the other cat, who's really not really a boxer. I forget his name, but that was. That was a farce. Yeah, show 50. Yeah, jay, paul, mike's 57, 50, whatever, it is 58. You just just give it up, man, the name he had, his wares. Don't destroy your legacy over some nonsense. He doesn't need the money. Mayweather definitely doesn't need the money. So I don't know, I don't know. So he's cash. You might as well put Holyfield, age 62, up there, then, if he comes back, you know what I'm saying Exactly.
Speaker 2:It's just ridiculous. Man and I love both fighters Tyson and Mayweather, but please, that's all.
Speaker 1:I got brother Yep, cool, all right. Well, other than that, we will catch you guys next week. Enjoy your week three of the NFL and week four of the college football. We'll catch you next week. Peace, peace.
