Beyond My Years host Ana Torres and Classroom Insider Eric Cross give you the first look at Season 3, launching July 22, 2026. This trailer highlights what's coming this season, including roundtable conversations with educators from across the country and candid conversations with Amplify's own experts in literacy and math. Season 3 focuses on the art and science of great teaching, drawing the knowledge of researchers and educators, including Pedro Noguera, Ph.D., Miguel Cardona, Ed.D., and Dan Meyer, Ph.D. We'll dig into topics from building relationships with students and teaching strategies for reaching every learner to student engagement in the math classroom, and more!
[00:00:00] Pedro Noguera: We have a lot of power as teachers that a lot of times teachers don't know, don't see, don't appreciate.
[00:00:07] Ana Torres: This is Ana Torres, former classroom teacher, longtime educator, and host of the Beyond My Years podcast from Amplify.
[00:00:15] Eric Cross: And I'm middle school science teacher and Beyond My Years Classroom Insider, Eric Cross.
[00:00:20] Ana Torres: Eric, we are getting ready to launch a third season.
[00:00:24] Eric Cross: I'm super excited to be back. I'm excited to talk about the art and the science of good teaching.
[00:00:30] Ana Torres: I'm excited too, Eric. And if there's one thing our expert guests understand, it's that the importance of educators cannot be overstated.
[00:00:39] Tina Boogren: Of course, we have to talk about instruction, but the magic isn't in the strategy. It's in the person providing that strategy.
[00:00:47] Joyce Abbott: A lot of times they are dependent upon you to teach them in every aspect of their life.
[00:00:52] Angela Duckworth: They are wired to look for an adult to guide them.
[00:00:55] LaTonya Goffney: Public education is the profession that makes all other professions possible.
[00:00:59] Ana Torres: In Season 3, we're spotlighting a new group of researchers and experienced educators to bring you new knowledge, actionable advice, and the confidence to put it all into practice.
[00:01:11] Kelly Serpa: I believe engagement in the first five minutes of your math class is the most important thing.
[00:01:15] Pedro Noguera: It's less about control. It's more about relationships.
[00:01:18] Alestra Flores Menéndez: It is so essential to have students have the opportunities to hear language. When you walk into a classroom, there should be chatter.
[00:01:29] Ana Torres: So Eric, what are some things you're excited to learn more about?
[00:01:33] Eric Cross: We're going to have a whole episode devoted to strategies for reaching all learners, and we're trying something new, and you know I love experimenting. We're doing roundtables to hear directly from other educators around the country and their experiences.
[00:01:46] Ana Torres: I'm also excited that we're going to have some celebrities, Dr. Pedro Noguera and Dr. Miguel Cardona. And of course, we're always going to have plenty of fun along the way.
What would you say advice number three is?
[00:01:58] Kelly Serpa: Okay. Maybe this should've been advice number one for me because this one is very important. Can I change the order?
[00:02:04] Ana Torres: Season 3 of Beyond My Years launches July 22, 2026.
[00:02:09] Eric Cross: With more tips and strategies you can bring to your classroom.
