Hello everybody, this is the Bullpup Podcast. I'm Fowler Adams, I'm Eddie Hoy and I'm Alice Wall. Let's get this one started with our joke of the day. Alice, what's your joke? Well, I just did an old one. I was just thinking of an old one, but then I was like, oh, this is a good one. So I'm changing my joke. Is your refrigerator running? Yes, well, you better go catch it. Why don't chickens play baseball? Why don't they play baseball? I have no idea, because they hit foul balls. What's your joke, eddie? How do you make jellyfish laugh? I wonder how? By giving them ten tickles. That's a good one.
Speaker 1:Yeah, let's see what's going around in Hartwell Elementary this week. This Friday we have Bullpup of the Month, powerpup Ice Cream Social during lunch, the PBIS Celebration Glow Party and the Hart County High School football team is on a bye. The middle school team is playing at Elbert County in the playoffs. Pre-game kickoff at 5.30. Speaking of football, anybody have some favorite games this week. Alice, are you excited that the Georgia Bulldogs won? Yeah, but also I'm excited about the Alabama game, because I asked Dad if Thomas would be playing because he's in college at Alabama and Dad said no, but he said he would be in the crowd, which is good for him. Well, I'm gonna go with my big upset of the week. I'm going I know, eddie, I know where you're already going, so I'm gonna go. Tennesseeennessee versus arkansas. Tennessee is ranked for, arkansas is not ranked. In tennessee's quarterback there was zero seconds on the clock and he ran out of bounce, so the final score was 13 to 14. You happy gt1, sure am down 14. They came back and won. It had some fumbles, picked up a W, and first is 5-0 Duke, and now Duke would be 5-1. What's your big upset, eddie? Well, like you said, alabama losing to Vanderbilt Alabama 35, vanderbilt 40. And then, yes, I am happy that Clemson beat Florida State. Oh Well, let's get into what we did over fall break.
Speaker 1:Alice, what'd you do over fall break? Well, I'm actually almost finished with my third Harry Potter book. Really, I'm actually almost finished with my third Harry Potter book, really. That's what I've been doing over fall break Mostly reading. But I have been doing some other stuff also. I can't really remember what else I was doing. Nice, alice. Well, what I did over fall break is we went one time we went up to the mountains Can't remember where, but looked at the mountains and just chilled out over there for like a few hours. And then the other, I really just stayed at home and we lost power for three days. Well, two and a half, two and a half. Well, we lost power for only two hours on friday. But, um, other than that, we just um gonna hung out at home and we just watch college football.
Speaker 1:Alice, anything else you want to share? Well, there's actually going to be a new storm after the one that just happened. It's going to hit Florida, so the people in Florida are going to try to get out as fast as they can. Some of them are going to be going to Hartwell and some of them are going to be going to Hartwell, and some of them are going to be going to South Carolina. And my great-grandma lives in Florida, by the way, and my grandma also lives in South Carolina and my great-grandma is probably going to go to. Well, never mind, keep prayers for those people. Please Keep their name in them. Welp everybody. Thanks for watching. Again, this is Fowler Adams, eddie Hoy. Welp everybody, bye, leave a like and don't forget to subscribe. Bye, bye, bye, bye-bye.
