Hello everybody, this is the Pup Pup Podcast. My name is Fowler Adams, I'm Eddie Hoy and I'm Alice Wall. Let's get this one started with the joke of the day. Alice, what's your joke? What did the football coach say to the broken vending machine? What'd he say? I want my quarterback. What did the goat ask for the barber shop? What'd he ask? A goatee trim for me. Please, eddie, would you like to share your joke? What instrument does a skeleton play? What instrument? A trombone? Let's talk about college football games. Let's talk about college football games.
Speaker 1:Alice, would you like to share your thoughts on Georgia beating Florida? Well, I'm very happy, honestly, that the Georgia Bulldogs beat Florida, but I also feel a bit sorry for the losing team. But it's good to be happy for your team in the county you're in, but it is also good to feel sorry for the losing team. Thanks for sharing. You're welcome. Well, for the upset of the week I would have to go with South Carolina beating Texas A&M, but I really didn't have a favorite game this week because I mean, georgia Tech didn't play. Eddie, would you like to share? I'd say the biggest game was Oregon beating Michigan, because that kind of secures their spot in the college football playoff. Anything else you would like to say? Nope, I'm good, are you sure? Yeah, louisville, no, okay, that's fine.
Speaker 1:Well, let's see what Fair will take place at Hartwell Elementary All week. On November 11, veterans Day program at HES at 8.30 am. On the 14th, progress reports will go home and on the 15th it's bullpup career and ag day. Also, leave a like if you're excited for the booksgiving book fair. Woo, yay, yay, yay. Well, before we get into our topic today, we would like to share, from last week, our thoughts with Mr Gammon on the World Series. So, while Mr Gammon said the Yankees would come back and make a big comeback in the World Series, we said that the Dodgers would win, while the Dodgers did win. So shout out everybody who said the Dodgers, and we'll have to let Mr Gammon know that he lost the bet. Alright.
Speaker 1:This week's topic is our favorite holidays. Well, my two favorite holidays, honestly, are Christmas and Easter. Well, I'll go with Easter first, because I wrote a letter to the Easter Bunny this year and he responded and I always wanted to make a wish on a golden egg and he gave me a golden egg one time and I was like a golden egg. Now I can finally make a wish, and Christmas because Santa always gives us cool things and Daddy sort of has a relationship. But they're not related, because then that would be weird. Thanks for sharing. Well, my two favorite holidays are probably Thanksgiving and Christmas. I like Thanksgiving because we get to eat those yummy foods on a dinner table and I like Christmas because Jesus died. I meant Jesus' birthday is on Christmas. Sorry, but yes, jesus' birthday is on Christmas, eddie, my two favorite holidays are Easter and Christmas, because Easter is the day where Jesus said Jesus fell and resurrected, and on Christmas it's his birthday.
Speaker 1:New topic for Alice today and for everybody. Alice came up with a good idea that we will be sharing the books we are reading, since the book fair is coming up. Break today was harry potter, a pop-up guide to hawkwarts, nice. I was reading um, captain underpants, which is a really funny book, but um, I think it was the fifth one.
Speaker 1:Eddie, what were you reading? Well, I've been reading a series called spy school and I'm almost done with the fifth book and I can't wait to get started on the sixth one.
