Speaker 1What's up , guys ? It's the Girly Pop Podcast here . I am Caroline Harper Hershberger and I'm Brooklyn , and don't forget the one and amazing Hi , Miss Gaines . Woohoo , so we have missed a lot of weeks . Last week was very busy . Monday was St Patrick's Day , so pre-K did stations and stuff and some people helped out with it .
Speaker 1And then Thursday was early release and what was it ? Early release and club day . And then Friday was student of the month , and then we had like PBIS stations and March Madness and the fifth graders versus like teachers . And then I think on Wednesday wasn't that the Powerpuff Field trip ? Uh , yeah , yeah , it was For the Space Jam or whatever . Also , updates on the student-teacher thing . We lost , yeah , we lost by a 30-point difference . I really had hope this year . It was 20 .

Speaker 1I really had hope this year , because we have some good basketball players in the fifth grade , but none of them . We had like three , four good ones . Yeah , hey , at least I scored . Speaker 1So , um , doesn't brooklyn have um a birthday coming up ? Yes , yeah , they're going to a great wolf in the great wolf lodge up in arizona . And if you have like an a for the athens rock lobsters , yeah , they have a team and they are semi-pro , but if you have an a on your report card , you get in free on , I believe , sunday . Book Recommendations: Ivy and Bean Series
Speaker 1, I think we should move on to the books . We have Ivy and Bean . We each have a different series , so I'll let Brooklyn start . I've never read Ivy and Bean , but I have Ivy and Bean . Then Take Care of the Babysitter . I have Ivy and Bean , break the Fossil Record , and the book cover looks scary . I have book two . It Is in the Ghost . That had to go .
Speaker 2And the ghost that had to go . And I have book seven and it's what's the Big Idea ? And it's the science fair time , and so Ivy and Bean are trying to decide what they're going to do for the science fair . So you need to come and ask if you can check this book out so you can see what they decided to do . They decided to do something with ice cubes or something completely off the wall and different .
Speaker 1Yeah , guys , y'all should come check these out and read them . They're not that big of a book , it's easier to read , it's not like big pages , bigger words , so like you can go through it pretty easy . And the challenge this week should be well , if we can get these four books checked out by this week , then we might have a guest come and we might have a guest come . Yeah , also , let's go ahead with the preppy stuff of this or of today
Preppy Brands and Shopping Destinations
Speaker 1. So first on the list we have Amazon and then second we have Lululemon , target , shein , I'm just going to read those for , like the buying stuff and like pretty much everybody knows , preppy girls love Starbucks and Chick-fil-A . I can't forget about Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter . I think that Taylor Swift is more preppier than Sabrina , but I don't really like Sabrina . I hate , I don't really like . I'm going to be honest .
Speaker 1Sabrina has her own commercial . Yeah , espresso . I'm going to be honest , guys , I feel like both are overrated .

I'm a Benson Boone fan . There's this kid my brother's friend , he looks like Benson Boone . Yeah , very true , I love Justin Bieber and Miranda Lambert . Those are my favorites . I'm just going to say some of my favorite products that I like to use . Okay , I love the Milk Jelly Blush , Like I put it on every single day .

Skincare and Makeup Products
Speaker 1, but I also have birkenstocks , but I do not wear makeup . I have one clear lip gloss and that's it . Yeah , I'm . I might be going to her house and stealing some of her makeup stuff or her mom's makeup that is expired makeup . From my mom , I mean , I'm getting that scrub that I used . Um , well , I have rare beauty . Um elf . I have , um , let's see , I have like the ulta , their own like brand product stuff . And then I have , um , I have like a lot of like lip glosses . I don't know the brand I usually .
Speaker 1I yeah , she has a lot of lip glosses . I do maybe a little bit too much also , like the last preppy thing or the last preppy stuff is um preppy girls go to Dairy Queen . I don't know . Salt Agenero . They use Salt Agenero a lot . I have Salt Agenero Me too .

Speaker 168 is the best . I think I have 62 , whatever the yellow one is , yeah , I have the . 62 is the best . It's like a vanilla man . I love it so good I can't forget the touch land . Like the touch land I have . Touch on my book , yeah , same . I have the mango , uh , whatever it's called mango , and , like last year , I had the . The . Um . Oh my gosh , I have berry bliss . Yeah , the citrus . Um , last year I had the rose water and that just gave me a headache . Like every time I use it , I started getting a headache . I'd rather just sniff the flower , not on the line , that's what I'm saying . Like the flower doesn't really smell like anything , but like put it in some water , like just crush it up in some water .

Okay , so it's like you can have like different colors , like on the top . You know , like some nails have like white on the top , like mine , oh yeah yeah , but it's just like more curved and you can have like different colors and it's pretty cute . Basic , though Interesting . Also another thing that's basic and style , but still in style leggings and , um , tall socks , girl leggings and ever size sweatshirts .
Speaker 1Yeah , very much in style oh , yeah , no like tall black socks with Birkenstocks , with Birkenstocks , and I think what's coming out of style is Uggs . Like , I think Uggs are kind of coming out of style now because I haven't seen anybody wearing them except Hayden Girl I don't know what you're talking about . Like , six kids in our class wore them last week For real . Yes , yeah , but they're not really like a really like preppy thing anymore . I know somebody my friends I mean my sister's friends Her name is Ivy , but she literally is the most preppiest person I've ever met . Okay , guys , I think we got to wrap it up now .
