Hey Nova, hey familia, so Nova, we're back on here and I just wanted to be super real and honest with you, with listeners, with everyone. I'm over these cookie cutter things, but what I realize is I believe in God, I trust God, I love God, but there's a real disconnection between my head and my heart. People say that 40 inches is the longest distance in the room, and I believe it's true, especially with males, that it's hard for us to believe. I trust God, I know He has my back, I feel another peace, another joy when I shouldn't in the world today. But like the power of God, the moving of God, even the praying for God, even the praying in general, even the not being distracted, even fighting against the enemy, even reading my Bible, all these things are difficult on the daily. Not because I don't love God, I feel like everything I'm doing is for God or by God or God ordained. I just spent eight hours with a pastor evangelist doctor in theology, Pastor Tim, and full time we're talking about God, we're talking about things, we're talking about what we can do for God, what's happening in the Bible, what we think we should put out there, what the world is asking for, what they need. People need to be saved, people need to be loved, people need to be treated right, but I am struggling.
SPEAKER_01So here's the deal, Sean. You just painted a picture of a heart that knows but still feels stuck. Let's not float above it. What's a stake if you don't break through that disconnect? What's the real cost if this gap between your head and heart stays wide open?
SPEAKER_02But I know it's closed. It's just like I can't do things. I'm not emotionally. I decided somewhere where I wasn't gonna cry and now I can't get back there. And we don't talk about it, we don't share about it, we don't. I know God wants me to stop everything and just be still with Him. Yet I just can't do it. I know that these ideas that I have will take off if they're God ordained, but I just can't get them out into the world. I just don't understand where here to there or A to Z or A to B, where the disconnect is. Like it doesn't matter how much I read, how much I listen, how much I want to feel the presence of God, there's something in the way. And something in the way that hasn't always been there. I feel like it was a lot easier to get here past the Tim who's filled with the power of God, and for him to just whoop me, and now there's something in the way.
SPEAKER_01Let's snap right into that something. You don't need another head answer, you need a heart confrontation. I'm gonna ask you this. What's the exact moment recently where you felt that wall go up? Don't give me a concept. Give me the scene, the feeling, the lie that crept in.
SPEAKER_02I just don't know. I just feel silly when I pray, I feel silly when I talk to the air. I don't feel the bubbles and the skin stand up and the hair stand up and the skin get. And when I do, I try and talk myself out of it. I've just spent the weekend at Mighty Conference, and like sermons there were amazing, and I get it. Uh one sermon that was shared on Friday, and he said something that I've heard before of like, you know why Jesus walked on water? Because he was filled with the oil, man. Like, water do not combine. Oil separates, it rises to the top. And the only reason why Peter sunk is because he was mixed with the natural, with the world. His thought, his heart, his mind was mixed. But Jesus wasn't mixed, he was the oil. I want to be the oil, I want to be filled with oil, I want to have the oil, I want to know the presence of God and like feel it now, but I want more.
SPEAKER_01So you've named it. You want the oil, but you're afraid of the mix. The lie is that you think you have to feel it to know it's real. No, but here's the truth.
SPEAKER_02I said I can tell that I'm mixing. I can tell the pull from the world, I can tell the pull of what we need to do as men in the world, but I don't care. I want more of God. I want to know that I am filled with the oil. I want to get up in the morning, raise my hands, and be filled. I want to face something I don't want to do and pray and be filled. That's what I want.
SPEAKER_01I hear you. And here's where we land. The lie is that you need to wait to feel filled. The truth, you're already anointed, even when it's quiet. Scripture says you have an anointing from the Holy One. 1 John 2 20. The life lives now. You don't chase the feeling, you walk in the truth.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but know that. I know the word of God to a certain degree. I don't know enough. Like, know things that are said in the word. I know that in life and active, and I've had those moments where it's just speaking and saying what I need to hear, and have those moments where God just whispers something and it all makes sense. And I have those moments where I know what I'm supposed to do, but I just can't. I just want that distance closed. I just don't want it to be hard. And I know the Bible says we will face trials, and we need to face them with joy. But why can't I get through this roadblock? Why can't I get through this wall? Why do we face this? I know I'm not the only one, but I'm the only one being honest about it.
SPEAKER_01I'm glad you're honest because that's exactly where the breakthrough starts. You're not alone, but you've got to own your fight. So here's what we're gonna do right now. I want you to stop what you're doing and pray out loud just for 60 seconds, even if it feels silly. That's the wall. We're not waiting for feelings. We're doing it. Let's go.
SPEAKER_02Lord, I thank you. I thank you for today. I thank you for your word. I thank you that you're you gave your one and only son to die for us, to die for me on the cross. I thank you, Lord, that you are here, that you are present, that you are in my life. I thank you, Lord, that you give me the strength, that you are strong when I am weak, that you are your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path, and that I can take hold of it. I thank you, Lord, for the armor that I put on the belt of the truth, which is your word, that I put on the breastplate of righteousness to protect my heart from the toxicness that is the world. Lord, I put on the gospel, the shoes of the gospel of peace, Lord, and I'm filled with peace and filled with joy as I pick up the shield of faith and step forward with faith, knowing that I am protected, that I am loved, that you have a purpose for me that is not to harm me, but to make me prosper, that I will be blessed, that I will be financially blessed, that this world will not take a hold of me, will not take a hold of us. I put on the helmet of salvation because I am saved and my mind is protected, and yes, I can do all things, but all things without you aren't worth doing. I pick up the sword and I cut down the enemy. I cut him down in the name of Jesus, that you will not stand in front of me, that you will not push me back, but I will stand on the heads of serpents, that I am the head and not the tail, that I know you, that I feel you, that I have you, that my family will serve the Lord, that we will be blessed, that we will be prosperous, that all these things that are coming against me, that you will turn around for good. I thank you for this in the mighty name of Jesus.
SPEAKER_01You see what just happened? You broke through by doing it. You didn't wait for the wall to fall first. That's how you fight. Now let's anchor this. What's one myth you believed about yourself that fueled that stuckness? What's the truth about who you are in Christ that flips it?
SPEAKER_02I couldn't do that, and I couldn't just pray. That my words are empty and meaningless. Sometimes I just feel, and that's the problem. I feel that my feelings shouldn't be the be all on end on, that they don't dictate what's going on. They are a part of it, they are something I should listen to, but the word trumps them, like trumps them, and what he has for me, and the future that he has for me, trumps what I'm feeling, what I'm thinking, what I'm struggling with.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. The myth was that your feelings define your ability. The truth is you are who God says you are, not what the feelings whisper. Now we activate. What's one action today that flips that truth into a step? Let's make it real.
SPEAKER_02I think when feeling like you can't, you need to just do. When feeling like you don't want to, you need to just do. When you have, I'll call it fear, but we don't have fear because that's not from the Lord. But when you have that hesitation, step in. Step out. That's what I'm gonna do.
SPEAKER_01That's it. You step out knowing you're already backed by him. Now I've got two hot seat questions to sharpen those habits. First, when the next distraction hits, what will you do instead of scrolling or checking out? Second, what habit are you ditching today that's been feeding that mix?
SPEAKER_02I don't scroll or check out. Not really on Instagram or TikTok or whatever, but I do create to get away. I do create when I'm doing other things. Creation is my escape when it should be my freedom, not my cage.
SPEAKER_01So today your action is to create from freedom, not escape. And this week, when you're tempted to create to numb out, pause, pray, and then create on purpose. Keep doing that daily, and I guarantee you'll see that mix lose its grip. Now let's close this with a bold short prayer anchoring you in truth.
SPEAKER_02Lord, thank you that you are present, that you are here, that you are with us, that you are for me, not against me. That I can do all things through you who gives me strength. Not through I who takes on strength, not through I who works to gain strength, not through I who done things better to get strength. Not through I who progresses in any way. I thank you, Lord, for the opportunities, for the people you put me under and around. I thank you that I am a head and not the tail. That you go before me, that I will not run ahead of you, but you walk with me and go before me, that you send your angels before me to fight for me. I thank you for the armor, I thank you for your word, I thank you for the skills and blessings that you put in my hands, in my mind, in my brain. I thank you that you're showing me how to take control. I thank you. In your mighty name we pray, amen.
SPEAKER_01Now, as we wrap this episode, here's your action plan. Today you step into prayer even when you don't feel it. This week you create from freedom, not escape. Ongoing, you let the word, not feelings lead your habits. And for everyone listening, share this, subscribe, and send it to someone who needs it. Next time we're exposing a lie about purpose, no one's ready for. Stay tuned.
SPEAKER_02Thanks, Dova. See you on the next one. Hello familia. So I just wanted to say thank you for being a part of this. Thank you for listening. Thank you for watching. Thank you for commenting. Thank you for sharing. We just want you to know something that God's told us about you, and He wants us to share with you that you are engineered by the Founder, that his podcast is created for you. Engineered by the Founder stands for the fact that we are all engineered by God, that you are created on purpose for a purpose, that God loves you, I love you, we love you. Now, if you want to support and you are enjoying this, then yes, please like, share, comment, subscribe, of course, and if you feel that way inclined, please assist us by donating to help us lean into this ministry. Um, yeah, we appreciate you, we love you, God loves you. Remember that you are weird on purpose. Yes, you are weird on purpose, designed on purpose for a purpose, specifically made you to be you, that God is a miracle worker, God created everything on this planet, and God created you perfectly. Uh, and remember to keep on shining your light because this world needs it. Stay lit, fam. The greatest thing anyone could ever offer up to you. I want to give you the opportunity to get right to know that you are saved. So we believe that there are three different types of people listening and watching this right now. There's one who's never heard the name of Jesus, they've stumbled upon this podcast, this interview, this whatever, and they were like, Oh, I just want to listen to that, and then they don't know anything about Jesus, anything about the Bible, anything about what we've spoken about, and then the second one is that they've heard about Jesus, they may have followed him once upon a time, but they've slipped away, and then the third type of person is the person who is not sure, they're not sure whether they're saved, they're not sure if they're in the right relationship with Jesus, they're not sure if they've been forgiven of their sins. So, right now, listening and watching, I know that those three people are there, whether it's one person or a thousand people or a hundred people. If you're listening and watching and you find yourself in any of those three types of people, I want you to just put a thumbs up in the comments to put a comment saying that's me putting a comment to say yes, please, right now, and I want you to repeat after me right now, Lord Jesus. I come to you today just as I am. Sorry, I want you to repeat after me. Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. I believe you died on the cross to take away my sins, and that you rose again to give me new life three days later. Right now, I open the door of my heart and ask you to come in, to be my Lord, to be my savior, to be my best friend. From this day forward, I choose to live for you. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, fill me with your love, fill me with your grace, and lead me every day of my life. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me. In your mighty name, we pray. Amen. Thank you, Lord, thank you to anyone who repeated that prayer after me. You are now saved, you are now part of the Lord's mighty kingdom, you are now a citizen of heaven, you are not part of heaven society. Now repent and turn away from your sins. I want you to comment below saying, Yes, I received him. Thank you, Jesus. Amen. Give us any comment below so that we know that you are saved, and then I want you to go out and find a local church. If you can't, please put your area and name, and we'll do some research and try and connect you. But it's time now that you are a brother and sister in the family of Jesus Christ. We want to help you on your journey, we want to guide you on your journey, and you can stay here and be a part of the podcast further. But we don't want you to be lost or left alone, we want you to be helped with the forgiving and turning away from all your sins and all your future sins, and just learning about what it is to be a part of the family of Jesus. What's next? We want to help you with what's next. So leave a comment below, leave where you're from below. And God loves you, we love you. Thank you for watching. Thank you for accepting the greatest gift you'll ever accept. Lord, I thank you for these people. Lord, I thank you that you are here, that you are present, that you are filling them, that you are journeying with them. That when they comment below, with the fact that they've received you with Amen, and we are able to connect them in their area, in their country, with fellow Christians, that fellow Christians following along, connect with them, and we grow a community that is heaven here on earth. I thank you in your mighty name we pray, Amen. To share about giving. First of all, there is absolutely no obligation to give, it's by free will and out of the goodness of our hearts. This podcast is free and will always be free. But the Bible says that when we give to God to support his ministries, he multiplies it back to us a hundredfold. In Luke 6.38, it says, Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. So I believe as you give into this ministry that it will be given back to you a hundred thousandfold. Lord, I thank you for every seed that has been released and sowed. When you sow into God's kingdom, you're not losing, you're planting a seed for later harvest hundred tenfold. And the word promises that seed comes back, multiplied even at a hundredfold, as I've said many a times just now. If you feel led, you can see the ways to give.iawysa.com. Iowisia, I am who you say I am, or by purchasing merchandise which supports the ministry, or simply you can scan the QR on the screen directly, and it'll take you directly to the link. Bless you as you give, thank you as you give. Your support means more than you know. Lord, I thank you for anyone giving, Lord, that this is a C, that we steward it correctly, and that it feeds this ministry to help it grow into what you have it to be. Lord, I thank you that when they they are giving to you, not to us, not to anything, but they are supporting this so that we can lean into it more, so that we can share more, so that we can grow more, so that we can bring people into your kingdom. I thank you in your mighty name. We pray, as I said, bless you as you give, you're under no obligation. We love you, God loves you, you are engineered by the founder, and we thank you for your love and support.
