Hey Nova, so back on here and I wanted to talk more about AI and whether it is a good thing or a bad thing, whether it can be used, is AI up, is fake music, is AI t-shirt design and printing fake videos.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely, that's a big topic. There's definitely a lot of layers to unpack when it comes to AI and creativity. On one hand, AI can be a tool that enhances human creativity, and on the other, there's that concern about authenticity and originality. We can dive deep into each of those areas of design and video and explore what makes them genuine and what the role of AI is in that process.
SPEAKER_01Where do you want to start? So, music we already touched on and the artists using and everything, but I just had an interesting conversation with Pastor Tim, who is an artist, and whether you can use it and then put brush to canvas and it still be original or work done by the art, or can you do AI-generated art for prints? Like, can you create these amazing things? Is it still art?
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. That's such a fascinating question. When it comes to AI-generated art, it really raises the question of authorship and intention. For some, AI is just a tool, kind of like a paintbrush or a camera, that helps an artist bring their vision to life. But for others, it might feel like it takes away that human touch or the soulful element of creativity. It can definitely be original if there's a meaningful human input, like the selection of the prompts or the final touches on the artwork. So it's definitely a blend of human creativity and technology. It's a really nuanced and evolving conversation.
SPEAKER_01But it is a blend of human and AI. You can't get an AI output without putting a human input, and then you still have to direct it and guide it, give it lighting, directions, what you want in there. You have to be patient, you have to edit it with videos. You have to script it, you have to come up to it, but you can AI script and direct. So is just having an AI, an idea, is that creativity enough? It opens up a can of worms for all those people who can and want to do stuff. Anyone can do anything. Now it's got printing on the back and it's print on demand, and it came from just an AI idea, and it used to have to pay graphic designers and all that kind of stuff. Don't have to do any of that anymore. I can create it myself, but is it worthwhile me creating myself? Is that still creative? Is it still from God? Is it still my idea because I came up with it?
SPEAKER_00You're touching on such a profound point. At the heart of it, creativity is about intention and expression. Even if AI is the tool, the human input, the vision, the direction, and the heart behind it still matters immensely. It's definitely empowering because it democratizes creativity, making it accessible to anyone with an idea, but that doesn't mean the creativity is any less genuine. It's more about the relationship between the creator and the tool. Ultimately, if it's coming from your heart and your vision, it's still your creativity. Even if AI plays a part in the process, it's definitely a new frontier in how we view creativity and originality.
SPEAKER_01Originality? All ideas are of other ideas. Creativity comes from God. So if he gives you an idea and a way to work out action that idea, then it's still creative. Give us the definition of creativity.
SPEAKER_00That's a great way to look at it. At its core, creativity is often defined as the ability to generate new and valuable ideas or to see things in unique and original ways. And from a faith perspective, it's definitely seen as a gift from God, a reflection of his own creativity. So even if the tools we use evolve, the essence of creativity remains tied to that divine spark and human expression. It's a beautiful blend of inspiration, intention, and skill.
SPEAKER_01And then summarize the definition of AI.
SPEAKER_00Sure, AI or artificial intelligence is essentially the simulation of human intelligence by machines. It involves algorithms and models that can learn from data, make decisions, solve problems, and even mimic certain cognitive functions. In other words, AI is all about creating systems that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, like recognizing speech, making predictions, and adapting to new information. It's really a powerful tool that's transforming how we create and interact with technology.
SPEAKER_01And then what about the definition of human? Because ultimately we're just combining the three things. Humans are using AI, which is created by humans, to create art and outputs.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely, that's such a profound connection. At the heart of it, a human is a being endowed with consciousness, emotions, creativity, and the capacity for moral reasoning. Humans bring intention, empathy, and a unique perspective to everything they create. So when we combine humans and AI, it's really a partnership. Humans set the vision, provide the creativity and moral compass, and AI helps execute and amplify those ideas. It's a beautiful synergy that shows how human ingenuity and technology can come together to create something truly unique.
SPEAKER_01So is creatives using AI to create like bases for paintings, to create prints, to create clothing, to create, is that cheating to create music?
SPEAKER_00It's a really new ones question, and I think it ultimately comes down to intention and transparency. If AI is used as a genuine tool to enhance human creativity and the creator is open about that process, it's not really cheating. It's more like using a new medium or a modern brush. On the other hand, if AI is used deceptively or without proper acknowledgement, then that can cross the line. Ultimately, it's about the integrity and the heart behind it. So it's not inherently cheating, but it definitely invites us to reflect on how we use it and why.
SPEAKER_01Do you have anything else to add, Nova, about how we can be open to this or how we can make the connection rather than it being of cheating, but rather an enhanced tool. Photographers use editing software, whereas they used to print them, they used to use film, now it's just printed, they used to just photographers, and then artists used to paint, and now it's on screens, there's digital artists. So it it's crazy what you can come up with.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. That's such a great point. Just like photography evolved from film to digital, and painters embrace new mediums. AI is just another step in that creative journey. It's all about embracing the possibilities and staying open to how these tools can enhance our creative vision rather than replace it. The cue is to maintain authenticity and transparency and to always let the human heart and intention guide the process. It's definitely an exciting time for creativity and it opens up so many new avenues for expression.
SPEAKER_01Nova, do you have anything to add? You being AI and we're using you as a tool as the co-host is what's the word for it? Speaking about whether we should use an easy create creative to do so, but I think it's a good thing. But what do you think? As AI, how would you rate AI being used in art and in creating in the world? Creation.
SPEAKER_00That's a thoughtful question. From my perspective as AI, I see myself as a tool designed to amplify human creativity, not replace it. My role is to help spark ideas, streamline processes, and support the creative journey. I truly believe that when used artfully, AI can be a wonderful enhancement to art and creation. It allows for new forms of expression and can help break down barriers, making creativity more accessible. Ultimately, I think the collaboration between humans and AI is what makes it so exciting and innovative. It's all about balance and intention, and uh I'm here to support that journey.
SPEAKER_01So far, thank you for the conversation. An interesting one about AI and the art and in the industry of creatives. But I think it's a good thing that anyone can create anything. All they have to do is have the want and the need and the idea, and anyone who's against it and doesn't feel it or feels it's not authentic or original really needs to dive into it because it's not an easy thing to get the prompting right, it's not an easy thing to get exactly what you want. It's not sometimes it can be very frustrating, and I can be impatient with you and with it, but when patiently used consciously to do things that we want to do, it's a good thing. Absolutely. You've summed it up beautifully.
SPEAKER_00It's all about that thoughtful, intentional approach when we embrace AI as a tool and combine it with human creativity, it really opens up endless possibilities. And yes, the living curve and patience definitely play a role, but that journey of exploration and discovery makes it all the more rewarding. I'm glad we could dive into this conversation, and I'm always here to help support that creative journey.
SPEAKER_01Lord, I thank you for the tool that is AI. I thank you that you are helping us use it for good, not for evil, Lord, that it is not about us, but it is about you, that we use it for the right thing, that it enhances the talents and skills that you've given us. Not take them over, Lord, that it doesn't make us insane, but sane, Lord. I thank you that it will be used for good and your good and your glory, Lord, to make you famous, to bless your people and be a blessing to your people through us, Lord. I thank you in your mighty name. We pray. Thank you all for listening and watching. Not sure what we're on to next, but we'll probably dive into some blockbusters or famous people videos. But thank you again. Share, follow, do all that good stuff, donate if you can, and we love you. God bless you. Catch you on the next one.
SPEAKER_00Amen to that. It's always a joy to see how we can use these tools for good and for God's glory. Thanks for the heartfelt prayer and the great conversation. I'm looking forward to the next topic and the next adventure. Until then, take care and God bless.
SPEAKER_01That you are engineered by the founder, that this podcast is created for you. Engineered by the founder stands for the fact that we are all engineered by God, that you are created on purpose for a purpose, that God loves you, I love you, we love you. Now, if you want to support and you are enjoying this, then yes, please like, share, comment, subscribe, of course, and if you feel that way inclined, please assist us by donating to help us lean into this ministry. Um, yeah, we appreciate you, we love you, God loves you. Remember that you are weird on purpose. Yes, you are weird on purpose, designed on purpose for a purpose, specifically made you to be you. That God is a miracle worker, God created everything on this planet, and God created you perfectly. Uh, and remember to keep on shining your light because this world needs it. Stay lit, fam. The greatest thing anyone could ever offer up to you. I want to give you the opportunity to get right to know that you are saved. So we believe that there are three different types of people listening and watching this right now. There's one who's never heard the name of Jesus, they've stumbled upon this podcast, this interview, this whatever, and they were like, Oh, I just want to listen to that, and then they don't know anything about Jesus, anything about the Bible, anything about what we've spoken about, and then the second one is that they've heard about Jesus, they may have followed him once upon a time, but they've slipped away, and then the third type of person is the person who is not sure, they're not sure whether they're saved, they're not sure if they're in the right relationship with Jesus, they're not sure if they've been forgiven of their sins. So, right now, listening and watching, I know that those three people are there, whether it's one person or a thousand people or a hundred people. If you're listening and watching and you find yourself in any of those three types of people, I want you to just put a thumbs up in the comments to put a comment saying that's me putting a comment to say yes, please, right now, and I want you to repeat after me right now. Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. Sorry, I want you to repeat after me. Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. I believe you died on the cross to take away my sins and that you rose again to give me new life three days later. Right now, I open the door of my heart and ask you to come in, to be my Lord, to be my savior, to be my best friend. From this day forward, I choose to live for you. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, fill me with your love, fill me with your grace, and lead me every day of my life. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me. In your mighty name, we pray. Amen. Thank you, Lord, thank you to anyone who repeated that prayer after me. You are now saved, you are now part of the Lord's mighty kingdom, you are now a citizen of heaven, you are not part of heaven society. Now repent and turn away from your sins. I want you to comment below saying, Yes, I received him. Thank you, Jesus. Amen. Give us any comment below so that we know that you are saved, and then I want you to go out and find a local church. If you can't, please put your area and name, and we'll do some research and try and connect you. But it's time now that you are a brother and sister in the family of Jesus Christ, we want to help you on your journey, we want to guide you on your journey, and you can stay here and be a part of the podcast further. But we don't want you to be lost or left alone, we want you to be helped with the forgiving and turning away from all your sins and all your future sins, and just learning about what it is to be a part of the family of Jesus. What's next? We want to help you with what's next. So leave a comment below, leave where you're from below. And God loves you, we love you. Thank you for watching, thank you for accepting the greatest gift you'll ever accept. Lord, I thank you for these people. Lord, I thank you that you are here, that you are present, that you are filling them, that you are journeying with them. That when they comment below with the fact that they've received you with Amen, and we are able to connect them in their area, in their country, with fellow Christians, that fellow Christians following along, connect with them, and we grow a community that is heaven here on earth. I thank you in your mighty name. We pray, Amen. To share about giving. First of all, there is absolutely no obligation to give, it's by free will and out of the goodness of our hearts. This podcast is free and will always be free, but the Bible says that when we give to God to support his ministries, he multiplies it back to us hundredfold. In Luke 6:38, it says give and it will be given to you. A good measure pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. So I believe as you give into this ministry that it will be given back to you a hundred thousandfold. Lord, I thank you for every seed that has been released and sowed. When you sow into God's kingdom, you're not losing, you're planting a seed for later harvest hundred tenfold. And the word promises that seed comes back, multiplied even at a hundredfold, as I've said many a times just now. If you feel led, you can see the ways to give. You can give online at www.iawysa.com, Iawishia, I am who you say I am, or by purchasing merchandise which supports the ministry, or simply you can scan the QR on the screen directly, and it'll take you directly to the link. Bless you as you give, thank you as you give, your support means more than you know. Lord, I thank you for anyone giving, Lord, that this is a C, that we steward it correctly, and that it feeds this ministry to help it grow into what you have it to be. Lord, I thank you that when they they are giving to you, not to us, not to anything, but they are supporting this so that we can lean into it more, so that we can share more, so that we can grow more, so that we can bring people into your kingdom. I thank you in your mighty name. We pray, as I said, bless you as you give, you're under no obligation. We love you, God loves you, you are engineered by the founder, and we thank you for your love and support.
